yeah i noticed that, it happened with one of the comic con vehicles as well. but it eventually fixed itself so i imagine this will too. i had created a whole area for the Ghostbusters and yeah this glitch is ruining the esthetic since i want it facing down. lol

Every time I click on the “beat freddy” quest the screen moves and zooms in on the forest on the bottom of the screen and makes a weird bubble sound. I have done everything required to unlock freddy and the last of the ghost buster items and cannot seem to do anything due to this glich. I have 2 days left to complete the challenge so I need help fast tyia

When that happened to me during Comic Con, I force closed the app and restarted my device. Then relaunched the game when it powered back up. This time round, I found Freddy on my sidewalk with the bubbles over his head.

The challenge quest has bot triggered for me. It seems i am not the only one this is happening to. I checked everything here. Not too many quests, have completed all previous challenges, and I’m on spooner street part 9 with no trigger. Going to be an EXTREMELY unhappy camper if i lose everything for no discernable reason. Any trigger ideas? Heard anything about someone else fixing this? Please help if possible.

I was expecteing the usual kill stay puft, latchers, banshees, terror dogs and the kids X amount of times in 3 days for the last challenge, but this seemed quite easy this week (not that i’m complaining). Now I just need over 11000 more spirit vials so I can get mr Weed, Connie and the alien queen before the end of the event. I’ll probably use the trading stink bombs and traps for vials but I wish they also included brewing items for trade as I have over 300 candy corn going to waste now.

Lol. I was expecting the same. I was saving up on traps, bombs, and rockets. Turns out I had everything required right off. Just had to wait for the cross streams quest to finish.

Is it possible to brew Mr. Deeds, Witch Connie and Duck Stewie? I have all ingredients but spirit vials. How realistic is it that I can earn enough to get all three or do I need to choose. It’s been tough getting the 17000 required for Deeds. What can I do besides trade in my bombs /traps for more vials?

It is possible…just attack stay puft a lot. Get Duck Stewie and Connie…then build up a ton of Rockets and attack Stay Puft early next week to get Mr. Weed.

Are you asking about the final quest after the blimp was repaired? If so, the next phase for it has not come just yet. Wait til after Halloween. 😉

So every time I make connives costume it makes it, then asks if I want to share. I don’t and continue then it says I on 25 clams and asks if I want to share. I say no and continue and my game crashes. I re-enter and have all my stuff like I never made her at least but I can’t get her costume without crashing. Anyone else having this issue? Any thoughts?

Ok fixed my own issue and not sure how to delete a comment. She had completed a task, but I hadn’t freed her up yet if that makes sense. Once I clicked her so she didn’t have a task active I could brew her without crash. It’s odd as I’ve never had this happen before but maybe it will help someone else if they are experiencing it. By the way no questline for her new costume. Disappointed.

I went through the whole nightmare on spooner st. without the last weekly challenge for the ecto 1 being triggered. I have no idea what to do now! I contacted Tiny co but have not heard back. Do you have any ideas. My task bar has 8 so I think there is room. I do not want to lose the ecto!! Please help!!

Got everything but the crossing streams done for Freddy. Still need Connies outfit. I was hoping to be able to convert out ingredients to vials. Still have about 70 of most and over 100 of the blue ones

Found out if you have all of the payed for characters and freddy you get 100 clams and I made it to fright level 10 which is the max

I got freddy straight away because I have about 100 of everything and I hadn’t anything to brew so when these new brewing items came and brew them straight away then dug up freddy witch is only a 1 minute dig which is great and I used ten clams to unlock him without peter and quagmires action 🙂

I was very happy with this event. I able to beat all 5 challenges, I bought alien, predator, and jason and then unlocked freddy. I brewed all the other new characters/ costumes. Also bought some of the premium buildings and built all of the freemium ones. And still have 20,000 vials left to spend as I please. And you would think after a month of this awsome event I would like a break, but all I can think about is the American dad event and when/ how will they introduce death into the game? I figured this event would have been a good way but thats just me. And as always thanks for the great coverage of the game on this awsome site.

I actually brewed all the new stuff in a matter of minutes tonight. I’ve had everybody on rocket, trap, & stink duties for the last week. Got on a hot streak with ol’ Stay Puft and had around 150 bottles of Goop. Still have a ton of Talons(not much requires those) and Candy Corrn(makes my teeth hurt thinking about it). I notice all the Unique items lock after brewing, but the Griffin House skin doesn’t. Does it rank up each time you brew or is it just a glitch that you can keep brewing it??
TinyCo needs to give us more land now. Need some extra acreage just to dipslay alll the different prizes for ComiCon & GB without cramming ’em all together. Had to box up al the Egyptian items to have enough room.
All in all, I enjoyed this event. Just wish the items like Zuul’s Portal & the Power Grid had some animation… Oh well, back to bombing witches & devils..

Getting Freddy was surprisingly easy for me with me not buying anything during the time I was working on getting Mr Weed. I had so many items stockpiled it wasn’t a concren and had just enough Vials to buy the Cruiser instantly after revealing Freddy. All I did was wait collecting Vials until the SPMM’s timer was almost up at midnight to bomb him at x30 to get the rest I needed to brew the Furnace and Shack. All I have left is Peter and Quagmire to finish their Crossing The Streams task and I’ll have him in just over 12 hours. It would have been quicker, but I delayed that last task.
Now on to Connie!

I’m missing something. I’ve brewed all the Freddy items, Peter and Quag have finished crossing streams and no one has an icon to do anything, but I still don’t have Freddy. I have two ghost buster missions on the left, the one says I have to defeat Freddy in 3 days is the only thing to do, and the other the only thing it says to do is defeat Freddy. Whenever I click on either defeat Freddy option it moves my view over the trees and there is nothing to do. Anyone know what I’m missing?

Mr. Weed comes with his grave, any word from TinyCo if we will get to keep the graves for Diane and Francis and Freddy’s mausoleum as they are currently part of the event area that will disappear when the event ends?
I’m also hoping that the wrought iron fences and lamp posts will be made available as decorations to buy with coins or vials. They would be welcome alternatives to the chain link fence and street lamp that are currently available.

Any idea what sets off the challenge this week? I don’t think I saw this above, but taught all afternoon and I’m a bit dead to the world. Does it just start when one repairs the mausoleum (wow, I can’t believe “mausoleum” is in the ios dictionary!)?
I’ve already brewed the required items, although I hate taking Quagmire and Peter off of rocket duty! So far I’ve been able to keep my 25x streak going for 5-6 days (and that’s really the key to building up vials and goop–I’ve got over 100 marshmallow goop even after brewing Freddy items). Sorry to go a tad off subject, but has anyone else had problems getting certain colors of rockets to drop. For me, red drop very rarely (and, yes, I’ve been careful to choose tasks for red).

Ah well, approximately 6000 spirit vials left to Mr. Weed. Was at around 3000 left before this update slashed 3000 off my total for Freddy. Then comes Connie.

Excellent!! Had enough of everything to get Freddy (just waiting on the task with Peter & Quaqmire) and Connie’s outfit. Will get the Echto-1 also. Now just got to try to earn about 8500 vials for Mr. Weed and the little brew able items and I’m set. I only bought Jason with the clams I already had saved. Wasn’t really interested in Alien or Predator since I don’t feel they’re Halloween characters. But it was a great event and I can’t wait for the Anerican Dad one and the future ones!

I am completely caught up in this game since the last Thursdays update. There dosent seem to be any questlines starting up since tonights update. No updates in my playstore. I brewed connies costume I placed hell opening and redrum inn but other than that no. ! To do anything am I missing something here?

i read elsewhere that her quest started with her 2hr selfie task. so last night i got her costume and when nothing happened, before going to bed i set her on the selfie task and this morning when she was done, i collected the money and then her halloween quest line started. so maybe set her on the selfie!!

I’m beginning to think I’ll never get Mr. Weed. Every time I get the materials I need, they add other stuff that uses up those materials, and I haven’t even gotten close to 17.5k souls at one time. It would be a lot easier if there were more Terror Dogs. I have a bunch of characters that can kill them, but it does no good if I only have one to kill. I’m guessing I’m just gonna have to hope I get enough of them by then, and save all my rockets until the last few days to hope to get up to 17.5k. I don’t think the trade-in values are all that worth it. The traps may be good for a last minute soul boost if you have no latchers, but the bombs and rockets all seem to be worth much more when used for their intended purpose. Plus I’ve still got a bunch of other items left to brew/purchase. I wish they’d lower his soul cost.
On the plus side, at least Freddy is free. I was holding off spending my clams on Predator so I could get Freddy, but now I can get both!

Meh. To each their own with regard to Freddy. Personally I am more concerned about getting Witch Connie unlocked as she will give me a few extra clams. I just got Mr. Weed today. I haven’t gotten any of the premium characters for this event, so I have no clam drive to get Freddy and I was always more partial to Jason in the movies. I am a little bummed that they are tying him to the Ecto-1, which I am more excited about. I will probably try to get him but only for that reason.

yeah that was a nice bonus…..so i now have a little under 500 clams!! of course its partly because i’m a huge Freddy fan so i bought clams with the assumption he’d cost 200 or so but still…that means i’ve received almost 200 worth of clams just from completing quests and collecting stuff in the last week!…..nice TinyCo… if only EA was this generous with the donuts on Simpsons.

Ha! I finally learnt my lesson. I saw Freddy’s mausoleum and thought “I wonder if this is a timed event?” I checked here and now I’ll wait until I have all the pieces before I unlock the quest!

I’m not exactly sure how I feel about this week’s challenge. On one hand, it was a nice relaxing…YAY! GOT MY ECTO 1! BOOYA! On the other, it felt like a slight let down, after the building up like the Comic Con weekly challenges.
Also, and yes I’ll be sending something to TinyCo about this, I’d like to see the inventory get reorganized. It doesn’t have to be elaborate like TSTO is now, but there needs to be a more organized way to find things. With all the buildings that have been released each week for the last couple events, and everything else we’re given, I’d like to be able to open inventory and find all my Halloween stuff together, all my Comic Con stuff, etc.
