Hello There Clammers!
Halloween has arrived in Quahog! And Peter, in typical Peter fashion, has decided to tick off the dead. In doing so Peter accidentally opens a dark portal in the Quahog cemetery and unleashes all manner of ghosts and goblins on the city…your job is to help round up these ghost, goblins and ghouls!
Phase 5 brings a nightmare to Quahog! Just when you thought it was safe to sleep at night…Freddy Freakin’ Krueger arrives in town!
Freddy is an all new Freemium character (Cauldron Prize) introduced just for Halloween. And I know you’re all dying to find out more about this new character in Quahog…so let’s break it all down for you below…
To add Freddy to your Quahog you’ll need to unlock him. You start to unlock him by repairing his Mausoleum. It’ll cost you 250 Spirit Vials and takes 1 minute.
Here’s what’s required to unlock Freddy..
-Brew the Krueger Cruiser– Requires…
1000 Spirit Vials
5 Marshmallow Goop
30 Terror Dog Bones
-Brew the Krueger Furnace- Requires…
1,000 Spirit Vials
15 Latcher Talons
5 Marshmallow Goop
-Brew the Kruger Tool Shed- Requires…
1,000 Spirit Vials
50 Candy Corn
5 Marshmallow Goop
–Make Peter and Quagmire Cross Streams- 4hrs, Earns 50 Spirit Vials, 10FP
Caution….this week’s challenge requires you to unlock Freddy in THREE Days. DO NOT Repair Freddy’s Tomb until you’re ready. Overall you’l need 3,000 Spirit Vials, 50 Candy Corn, 15 Marshmallow Goops, 30 Terror Dog Bones & 15 Latcher Talons…DO NOT REPAIR FEDDY UNTIL YOU ARE READY
Freddy is the one character who will not help you earn more items. While he’ll help you with Spirit Vials he does not have an additional bonus to him. HOWEVER…if you’ve purchased all the other Premium characters for this event and you craft Freddy, you will be awarded 100 clams! Pretty sweet!
Freddy’s questline is part of the main questline, so you won’t unlock an additional questline for him. You’ll just continue with the main Phase 5 questline.
So now that we know HOW to get Freddy, let’s take a look at his tasks…

There you have it….the details on this killers arrival in Quahog! Remember…he is required to finish the main Phase 5 questline and you’ll only have three days to unlock him, if you wish to complete the Week 5 Challenge.

My apologies for being such a noob, but didn’t know where else to let you guys know of something that occurred while creating/placing the Quagmire Halloween House deco. Did you guys know of a Jurrasic Park theme/event that’s coming? I’d like to upload a screen shot of the building that showed up in relation to that.

As far as what you are seeing…many have seen it by now. It is a remnant of some items they had during the BETA testing of this game. Jurassic items. They never brought them into the live games though.

A little disappointed so few of his tasks are outdoors (a problem I had with some of the more premium characters in Tapped Out), but he is amusing. Amazing to see in his “Play ‘Got Your Nose'” task that he hasn’t figured out yet that he can’t use his right hand to do some things anymore.

This item exchange is tedious work. I’ve been at it 2 hours now & still have hundreds of items to get rid of. Then I have to decide how to spend 80,000 vials. It was nice of them to make this exchange but adds a lot of work. I think I wrapped up comic con in less than an hour & I had 570,000 Blam! to deal with in that one. Oh well, back to work.

Wish he was voiced by the REAL Freddy, and wish he and Jason had a joint tasks instead of just the indoor tasks that mention each other. Speaking of joint tasks, why is there not a 4 way task for the guys to cross their streams? Obviously we have one with Peter and Quagmire, but why no love for the other Ghosbusters of Spooner St? I hope they keep some kind of Proton pack task after the event ends because those are the best ones.
