It looks like TinyCo has offered up a Thanksgiving Potluck Mystery Box for us. For the cost of 25 Clams, you can get a variety of cool items for your town and game. THIS IS LIMITED TIME!!! It will only be in the Menu to try your luck on until Dec 1st, approx 3PM PST.

So you want to know just what you can get for 25 Clams worth? Let’s break it down. WAIT…FIND PETER FIRST WITH THE ! OVER HIS HEAD. GET THE FREE ONE FIRST (if you want, or try your luck and save it as an extra)!! 🙂
Gobbeldy Float: Sits on a 4×4 Base. No animation.
Trip the Turkey: Sits on a 1×1 Base. No animation
Forklift Peter: This Character Costume is required to be able to do the Raise the Roof 10hr task that drops Stuffing (Common) for Fat Lois. Takes 5 mins in Al’s to create.
5 Gluten Stalks: Sits on a 1×1 Base. No animation
Hayride Wagon: Sits on a 3×1 Base. No animation
Mayor West’s Barrel Of Tweets: Sits on a 1×1 Base. No animation
5 Turkey Legs: For Fat Lois (this will only show if you need 5 or MORE of an item. Once down to less than 5 or already less than 5 needed and no option to win will show)
5 Pecan Pie: For Fat Lois (this will only show if you need 5 or MORE of an item. Once down to less than 5 or already less than 5 needed and no option to win will show)

50 Clams
The Materials and Clams will just be added to your counts once won. The Decorations will go to inventory. The Forklift Peter Costume will be put in Al’s and need to be created.
Now the Decorations will NOT repeat, but the Material may (Like Turkey Legs and Pecan Pies). Clams too. There is a cool part to this though…and a WARNING…once you have ALL the Materials you need/can get, that item will disappear. Like if you only need 8 more Pecan Pies and you win the 5, that item will disappear from rotation. ALSO…once you have ALL the Materials needed for Lois, the Mystery Box goes away completely. (So if that is all you have left there is really no more need for it anyway. I personally won one of every item in the Mystery Box as well as 135 Clams. Than the extra 50 in Free one.) I’m seeing most seem to go after about 10 to 12 boxes opened.
Once you win some of the items, you can buy MORE of them if you want for Clams.

All used up all hundred of my free clams I turned in the game trying to win forklift Peter that’s my free box about Tom the turkey at the four boxes I actually spent clams for I got the float the haystacks turkey legs and the barrel of tweets I apparently have the bottoms luck with this one

I could be wrong but it seems like turkeys quit dropping coins and now drop needed ingredients. Either that or I’ve just been getting REALLY lucky. I’ve gotten 10 or so stuffings today.

So in an update for me. I decided to try for Forklift Peter. First try, Turkey; second, wheat. I thought about stopping but I tried one more and got 50 clams. I then figured it was worth one more and got him! So I only spent 50 clams in total, felt that was worth it. Now I can hopefully finish up Lois before Monday, just 12 stuffings left.

The free roll gave me 50 clams which gave me two rolls giving me gluten stalks and gobblety float. I still need one muffin for francinen and 4 pecan pies for fat lois (ticking me off all this time only got one)

Well, I was about to post that by making a Peter costume that was premium, they make me less motivated to collect future skins because my collection would never be complete anyway. But I re-read the post carefully and decide to risk my last 50 clams (largely gained from watching that lame AD! commercial) and this is what I got:

So, my collection remains complete!
The structure of this box is such that I had decent odds because i have all my turkey legs and 3/5 of pecan pies already, removing those items from the prize rotation. I’m sure there are going to be some players who started the same as I did but weren’t as lucky, but I’m happy!

I only spent 55 of my own clams so I’m very happy about that, the skin it’s self was worth that to me so the decos are kinda a bonus

I got the gluten stalks on my free try. After reading all of your comments, I decided to buy $5 worth of clams. I got DOUBLE the clams. In the mystery box, I won 35 clams 2 or 3 times plus 50 clams once. I got forklift peter and still have over 200 clams. Hmmm, what else did I want to buy. 🙂

Same here. I checked that the turkey leg and pies were not in the prize boxes then made my first ever 130 clams purchase and cleared out all the boxes for all decos and clams. Ended with more than twice the clams I had.

I totally just got Forklift Peter for free! Love it! It’s hilarious too. It’s one of the workers that drives him around in the forklift (but it doesn’t subtract that from your total workforce.) I can tweet some screenshots of Forklift Peter’s activities if anyone’s interested.

Very surprised you were able to keep on playing when only clams were left to win. As a result Forklift only set me back 50 clams.

I tried the box a couple of times and got decos. Then saw the alert about the free one and got forklift peter with that one. Eventually won all the decos and clams three times. After I had won all the decos, the box only triggered one more time for 50 clams. I didn’t have the fat Lois stuff in there as I was further along with her. All told I figure I got everything and it only cost 35 clams.

Ended up spending about 50 clams and got all the decos. I didn’t need pies or turkey legs. I got clams a coupe of times, but once I won the last deco, it gave me the option to retry for another and since the only prize left was clams, I bought it. Thanks for pointing out that there were no repeats – I wouldn’t have played at all if I was going to end up with a bunch of barrels or gluten stalks (what I won in the free one).

Got 50 clams on my free try and just quit while I was ahead. Very happy with that result as I have plenty of decorations already in storage.

I got Trip the Turkey in my free one, then a Way on in another. I like that you can’t get the decorations multiple times from it, makes them a little more likely to drop the other items.

Really bummed up i had 75 clams as im a fremium user and bought 3 boxes and got 3 decorations 😦 no way im getting 25 clams back before it disapeers

If u paid for 3 boxes you need to check your inventory as everyone got a free go. I used mine after I had all decs (& 4 lots of clams) & 2 lots of clams at the end. Box went but free one was in my inventory. Check yours now as u may well have another go & u are missing out on a skin that helps you get Fat Lois.

First let me start with Happy Thanksgiving and to all that you do, second for fat louis I have been sending the characters non stop for the pecan pie since day one and nothing has dropped yet . Is this happening to anyone else . I’m afraid I might not get her in time before she ends . I’m on iOS

Argh… Bought 50 clams to try the mystery box again for Forklift Peter, got instantly-inventoried decos both times. I don’t even care so much about that skin, but I’m like 100 stuffings away from getting Fat Lois. Ok, maybe just 17 stuffings short, but with the turkeys dropping coins and Mort’s 12-hour brisket not dropping, it feels like 100.

Won the float 1st free, but Peter last try at the boxes, had a go at them as I had recently purchased 250 clams, got all the other prizes inbetween including more clams, and with the last two the clam boxes being 35 and 50 clams could not fail after spending 25 clams each, so spent a little over 50 clams, great payout this time for not to meny clams. Very happy.

I hadn’t managed to collect any pies for Fat Lois yet (extra rare does not work well for me), so getting all of them in the box was a nice feeling. Did end up spending a few more clams than I won back, but all in all it was pretty good value. (Strangely enough I won the 50 clams every time I told myself “ok, this is the last one”. So of course I had to go again…)

As usual, my luck is pretty rotten, but I’m content since I calculated the odds ahead of time. Really, assuming there are no Lois ingredients in the box, the cost of the skin is 125 clams – you just have a chance of getting it for less (Kind of a Black Friday sale?) as well as getting bonuses along the way if you don’t get the discounted price. Since I have all of Peter’s skins, except for any Android exclusives if there are any, I decided it was worth it. I won it after spending 100 clams, with no clams as prizes. Technically, I could open the box at least one more time to try and win clams, since I have 1 deco remaining in there, but I’m not really a gambler by nature. I’d rather save those 25 clams and know I can put them towards something I want than risk spending them and getting another deco I don’t have room for.

I’m exactly like you and got Peter on the same try….but with one decoration and two clam prizes left I thoughtwhy not…and got the final barrel of tweets deco….it still had a try again option and with only clams remaining it was a duh situation…got fifty 3 times until it took my retry option away. Thus if you dont need lois items im pretty sure it will cost you a total of 50 clams to play it through with the box offering one thirty five clam and three fifty ones to everyone (from reading other comments it looks like a ton of people got fifty 3 times who played it out

No. But my thoughts…the payout was awesome on this one so Clams spent were very minimal.
After free box…I earned 185 clams total (50 3x, 35 1x). I spent 250 (11 boxes @25 clams). So after winning Clams and reusing them, one skin and all prizes plus items for Lois only cost me actually 135 Clams of my own.

Normally i stay away from clamboxes, but after reading this i had a go and cleared the whole box for 5 clams of my own ( but 2 of the Lois items were cleared before opening a box…)
Too bad the other clam boxes don’t match this pattern 😉

Can’t agree with you, Bunny – you should use your example as a cautionary tale to not risk it if you still have Lois items to collect. 135 is a large price to pay. That’s 90 odd clams for ingredients for Fat Lois that drop for free,

I actually found an intresting glitch, i had already gotten the items needed for lousis costume, and had cleaned the mystery box leaving only the clams, yet i was still able to buy it in the shop, allowing me to get a very nice amount of clams before the box actually disapeared.

Yeah, I got this too but it only worked once after so I still ended up down 55 clams 😞 Also, this only seems to work if you had less than 5 of the Fat Lois items left to achieve.

I did the same thing. I already had Lois and got all the prizes (as well as 3 lots of clams), then was able to keep trying a few more times so the only thing I could win were clams. Saved the free box until the end and got another load of free clams. In the end, I got Peter and all the decorations free & gained extra clams. Win win!

Got each of the decos and several batches of clams before getting Forklift Peter. Made the mistake of immediately starting his build, as it still gave me the “Try again?” option on the Forklift Peter confirmation popup, but the box was gone when I tried looking for it again. Might hEnded up only using 55 of my own clams, but I was way down before the odds started favoring the chance for clams. Got two 50’s in a row at one point. Never got any items for Lois, though I had already gotten the last of the turkey legs beforehand. Those last two pecan pies would have been nice, but I don’t know that they would have been worth 25 clams…

I got 50 clans the first free one. Figured I blow them on 2 chances at Forklift Peter. I got 50 clams twice more in a row! I had 150 clans just for logging in! Spent them getting Far Petrt, the rest of the decos and pies so Fat Lois would be easier. 🙂
I ended up plus a few more clams as the last 2 choices before Rupert disappeared were 35 clams or 50 clams. A NO LOSE situarion! I got 35 clams as my final reward! A plus 10 bonus!

It depends on what YOU have already. It won’t payout less than 5 on materials. So if you needed 4 or less…none would show.

I got the wagon. Which is kinda funny, considering I have real hay wagons here on my farm lol.
On a side note, getting so annoyed with the little turkeys only wanting to give me coins when I still need so much of everything! I could understand it better if say, I was completely finished with the common items. But sheesh, it drives me bat bleep fudgin crazy!

Wasted my last 70 clams on the prize boxes and didn’t even get the forklift Peter. So I bought 130 clams, cleared out all boxes and got back a total of 280 clams! I think one of the prize boxes glitched and I got it for free. Finally bought the Smith house which is as good as free. Hee.

I got 35 clams with my free box, so I thought I would push my luck a little. I got Forklift Peter on the first try! Still irritated about missing IA Peter by 1 extra rare item, so I really wanted the 5 pies for Fat Lois. I tried twice more and got Trip and the barrel of tweets. Should have stopped after the skin, but got sucked in like playing slots in Vegas.
