Update Alissa 10am EST: A LOT of you are commenting that you can’t get Cheryl, the bench doesn’t have a build option. The answer is…it will. Just keep moving through the questline, when the questline prompts you to build it you will be able to. Until then…don’t worry your game isn’t broken. Just collect to unlock Glenda and have fun 🙂
Also, a number of questions about when phase 2 will start. Remember, you must complete ALL of The Beautiful People questline in order for it to start (it’s 10 parts). Once you complete that the next phase will start. (and nope, you don’t have to have Ida for it to start)
UPDATE BUNNY 135AM EST: Received following info from.TinyCo in regards to Lois going on date issue…
There is currently a bug where if a player has nerd squatters and can clear them with Mid Life Crisis Lois, we had to disable the date action to prevent a different very bad bug where players cannot get Lois out of the coffee shop.
To help alleviate this issue, we’ve changed the quest to read “Have someone join Peter on a Coffee Date” as any date with Handsome Peter should completes the quest, not specifically Lois.
So now you can send anyone to clear the task until issue is resolved.
UPDATE BUNNY 1245AM EST: Reports from TinyCo of crashing from iOS users linked to Facebook. They are looking into it, so hang tight.
Seeing an increase in reports of unable to send Lois on the Date with Peter. Try a few things first…
1: Make sure Lois is free (Characters will NOT show up for the Date option while in a task).
2: Make sure you are scrolled to Lois and not one of her other Costumes
3: Try to trigger it from the task pop up in the Menu list
4: Try to send her from the Coffee shop, if possible
If all methods tried and still no luck, Contact TinyCo from your game. We reported it already too and will update if hear anything back.

Week 2 of Valentine’s Day is now live! And it’s finally time for a Love Connection in Quahog!
As always more details as we go through them…BUT I just wanted to give a little disclaimer to Clammers on Android devices. There was a Google Play Store update earlier today. So make sure you’ve downloaded the newest version from the Play Store so you’ll get the latest update.

You can now send characters on dates! This will also require you to repair the Morning Arousal Coffee (in the Event Area).
From here you can pick and choose characters to send on 4hr dates! Depending on how the date goes you can either heart Love Hearts, Hate Hearts, Clams or prizes!
We’ll have a full breakdown on just how-to send characters on dates, but basically you pick and choose from the available list and they’ll go on a date for 4hrs.
Once completed you’ll see just how they did. If it was a successful date you could win a prize!

Each time you clear them it takes 2hrs and you can earn an item for Cheryl, Valentines or Clams!

Unlocked the thoroughfare and mainly all broken hearts, and only a handful of dates which produce hearts and as Peter and Lois are the prime couple for hearts,and they are needed to collect stuff and others not yet unlocked Ida and Glenda a waste of 200 clams. The only saving grace is the extra prizes. Wish I could take them back.

I had a task that said “send Peter for coffee” so I did. Then, I was supposed to do the pairing and it did not give me the option of putting Peter in as the fat towel boy. So, I had to put in two completely different characters. Does that mean I won’t get credits for those 4 hours?

No valentine’s day at all? Or just phase 2? If no V-day at all…are you in District 3? That’s when it triggers. If not Phase 2…you must complete all of The Beautiful People questline (10 parts) in order for phase 2 to trigger

Hi has anybody had an issue with the game since this mornings update my game flashes and the whole town including timer goes into fast forward impossible to set tasks with the flickering when flickering stops town freezes works for a minute the goes back to fastfoward any ideas how to fix tried reloading and shutting tablet down no joy thanks x

Hi everyone :-). Loving the event so far. No pun intended lol Sounds like the Ida/Brian date from the splash screen works. So I assume the Arnold/Glenda one does too. Possibly for a prize with Arnold being premium.
I hadn’t quite unlocked Ida yet. So I was pleasantly surprised to find Tiny Co have added item drop tasks for her. I only need hand bags. Now I can earn them from Brian and Mayor West too. The Herbert Peeping Tom task kept dropping Ale Bottles for me. Problem solved :-).
The Cinema in the event area looks like it could be a future date venue. Possibly in phase 3? It does have Coming Soon on it so looks like it will be used at some stage

In my opinion, I think 200 clams is a bit steep for the Romantic Thoroughfare, regardless on what it does or what prizes we can win.
Other buildings/skins for this event can be bought for 75-100 clams 😦

I just read that some players already have the Brookfield Insane Asylum building during the Halloween event in which I didnt start to play this game yet.
I was wondering if that building will provide the Valentines card as it was one of the hate prize for the upcoming character so that I can decide if I should select the love or hate prize after lois.

For the freemium cafe, it seems like there are only eight characters who can go on a date. It seems the correct pairings are:
Lois + Peter
Herbert + Chris
Carter + Barbara
Mort + Jesus
I haven’t completed any of the dates yet, but I’m sure the Lois and Peter one is love and the Mort and Jesus one is hate. The other two I’m not sure about.

I need 3 handbags for Ida with 3 days to go so once I’ve done that I am so sending chris and Herbert on a date. TinyCo have really put a lot of effort trying to make this event have as much content as possible and because of this I’m having to get up several times in the night to make sure I’m getting all the characters and costumes availible, I don’t care though as long as I get everything. Haven’t missed anything so far 😄. Also in case your wandering Peter and Meg will get you the bathroom deco and 5 bad hearts!

Could I suggest an article where it is listed as to which pairings create red hearts and which create purple? Could be very useful in gaining the different prizes, especially for those like myself who absentmindedly built up 50+ red hearts while there was no quest, only to realize they wanted the (valentine-dropping) liquor store building rather than the (comparatively useless) bumper car deco once Joe’s quest popped up? Obviously reader input would be required, since we shouldn’t expect you guys to be able to test every pairing…

I am with u cause I had to go from 74 red to the other way for 75 purple I got to 60 purple and then they told me to send Peter and lous on a date and got 5 red for it and was mad now I am at 55 purple should be at 60 and I want to collect all the prizes so I hope I will have enough time since all theses problems this event has had is got me behind now

Glenda is not timed, much like Handsome Peter was not timed. So you have until the event ends to unlock her. Perfume sprayers won’t trigger until later in the questline (around the time you’re required by the questline to unlock Glenda). They’re not triggered by Cheryl. Hope that helps! 🙂

I have been addicted to this game since it was released. I have participated in every event and so far, this has been the worst. Other events have had their problems but this one seems to be an afterthought and implemented with no thought of game mechanics or properly using any unlocked characters to properly flow obtaining items amongst the long list of characters available. It just seems like a jumbled mess when other events seemed to flow. I hope they find a way to pull this event back together. I wish Arnold was enough but it just isn’t holding my attention this time around. My opinion, of course.

They disabled sending Lois to the coffee shop if you have nerd squatters because of a bug. If you send anyone on a date with handsome Peter it will complete that part of the quest line so good to know. I asked however about the prize I see involved with the Lois and Peter date and asked about that. Hope that helps some. ( nerd squatters are during the unlocking of Stewie process with mid life crisis Lois.)

Hay Bunny, Alissa, Family Guy Addicts Team as well as fellow addicts! Bunny, I sent an email to you guys a little bit ago with a list that just may help people decide on if they want to purchase Romantic Thoroughfare or not. Its a list of which characters to send together to Romantic Thoroughfare and what they receive at the end of the 2 hours. A majority if not almost all of the character pairings earn 2 Hate Hearts. A few select characters such as pairing Alien with Predator earns 4 Hate Hearts. The list also says which character to pair together to earn the prizes you can win. For me, I chose to purchase it cuz I got very behind on gathering the Hate Hearts so that I could get Joe’s Hate Prize which is a building. Having to wait for the couples to stop for a moment to see if they fight and have purple hearts floating above them or to see if the couples kiss while the mans leg raises and red hearts float above them was taking too much time and there isnt much to begin with, so I found myself just tapping all of them and hoping I would get the Hate hearts for Joe’s hate prize. I just kept breaking even or I would end up with all love points. Romantic Thoroughfare is helping me get the hearts I wanted. I hope this list will help others if ya wanna post it.

I’ve tried checking for updates of which there were none and force closing my game several times but I still haven’t got phase 2. I’m only up to part 6 of the beautiful people quest and haven’t started the timer for Ida yet. So my question is to unlock the phase 2 components do we need to have finished the beautiful people quest or have passed to at least a certain point e.g. Completed part 9.
