Why is it I’ve already unlocked all the rare items for Cheryl, yet I still have 2 fans left?! Jerome hasn’t paid out one single fan for me yet. I’ve gotten them all thru the perfume speakers or the caricature booth. What the Duece?!? Lol I think they mislabeled them uncommon instead of extra rare

WTD at TinyCo making the Coffee Shop, Theater and Cupid’s Office all decos. Things that large should automatically be buildings. As great looking as they are they’re going into storage. What a waste!

I’m holding out hope that they will turn into coin-collecting buildings once the event ends and their counterparts displayed in the event area go away. I couldn’t agree more — beautiful buildings with terrific designs, but without a benefit they will end up sitting in storage. Are you listening TinyCo?

I went for the Cupid statue on the love/hate prize thing and the Asylum skin is not available for me on the box! What the deuce?!

What the deuce? Why didn’t I notice that the PDA love couples’ men wore black and the PDA hate couples’men wore lilac until just now????????? NOTE TO MR. HUETT: if you’re offended by domestic violence in a cartoon why in the world do you watch Family Guy and/or play this game? Family Guy is based on politically incorrect gags. Seriously.

Another glitch preventing me from moving on. Glenda finishes her 12 hour event to finish off part 6 and it just resets over and over again. Cannot open bench for Cupid so I guess that Tinyco doesn’t want me to have that one either. Every event has something I cannot get and Tinyco takes 2 months to get back.

What the Deuce!?!?!?! my family guy keeps stuttering! it freezes and kicks me out every 5 minutes and moving to ollieland or my friends is just damn near impossible! the stuttering only started a day or so ago, but the countdown timer on my lovers/fighters has dropped out by the time it comes back. HEEEELLLLPPPPPP I have tried clearing cache and have uninstalled/reinstalled but with no positive effect. I am at the point of giving up with this game.

The artists and writers rock… but their programmers sucks **** **** *****! There’s absolutely zero reason for all of our troubles, besides the fact that their programmers are lazy and ignorant! My game consumes almost 3GB of data, which is ridiculous and uncalled for… these people have no idea how to program a game! The art assets (for an art style such as this) should be utilizing vector based graphics, that alone would solve their memory issues. They could also take the game to the next level by using a 3d engine with forced perspective… they could achieve the exact same look (if they wanted), but with a tried and true engine that won’t crash all the time. BTW, tinyco, even with your outrageously bloated art assets, you wouldn’t have all these problems if you spent some resources FIXING your own engine’s memory management code. Please, FIRE your programmers and hire people with some competency! I’ve played hundreds of games over dozens of devices, and this is BY FAR the most unstable I’ve EVER encountered. I’ve been playing since almost the beginning, and it’s only getting worse. Honestly, I wish it wasn’t so ***** addictive, so I could just quit.

It is those that just do not see the “Bigger Picture” of things. Anyone can “assume” what someone else does on a daily basis, but that is all it is… an assumption. No one really knows until they step into that persons shoes and go for a walk.
Everyone is entitled their opinion, I just feel bad that people do not see the good and focus on negativity instead. Such is our world these days. 😦

The whole event has been a what the deuce: couples that look the same but have different payouts. Using the same task for two different items one of which is required for a timed character. Tons of buildings and decorations without purpose or tie in, and nowhere to put them. And don’t get me started on the love meter and dating tasks (so complicated that it required 3 charts and various updates). Finally, there’s the double dipping- if you’d like your premium characters to participate you must buy a premium building. As much as I like the voiced characters, once my current clams are gone I’m done. Too much frustration not enough fun.

I don’t get the perfume sprayers. I’ve been sending Ida on them since it started hoping for a clam, but nothing. Two hours each time that’s like, more than fifty attempts. I’m on 229 love hearts and two hours from completing can’t buy me love pt6 with 4 days to go. I think I can get cupid in time.

Alright, I’ll say it; I hate that the “hate” couples display domestic violence as their animation. It makes light of something awful, and takes away from the event, to me.

I was really looking forward to winning the fountain in the mystery box, but it doesn’t shoot water like the one in the theme area. Why not? It would be the best decoration if it did, but now it’s just…sad.
And why do I keep getting all the prizes I don’t want in the mystery box, besides for the fountain I got the two deco buildings which suck because they aren’t actual buildings, big mouthed girlfriends (which kinda creep me out, no joke), and the archery set. I wanted cupid statue, brian statue, fountain, and then I could care less, but I guess luck just isn’t on my side. (I shouldn’t be surprised, it never is)
And why does Bruce have no valentine earning task. He’s normally one of the more main characters during events. But this one seems to be a mainly Qaugmire themed event, whom I’ve actually started to like less and less in the show, though as Glenda, he’s fine.

WTD, why is the Popcorn ball pit a building and the coffee shop just a deco? Wouldn’t it be logical the other way around? Bugs me so much.
The silver lining’s that it won’t take up much space after putting away every deco after the event ends.

Sometimes when I exit I lose progress for the last 5 mins of me playing, and it Grinds my gears because I send someone on a 4 hour HMV heart task… 3 hours later when I check I DIDN’T SEND IT APPARENTLY!

Try to sync the game. Go to Ollie Land and back before exiting to ensure it forces the game to sync up.

It does not work ! It just freezes up, tinyco gave some lame excuse as to why. I downloaded clash of clans just to test out another game and guess what no issues!

i asked TinyCo. that question too because it happens to me often, and their answer was wait like 2-3 minutes before exiting the game. that’s what I do now and seems to be working.and also what Bunny said I haven’t tried it that way yet.

for the past 2 days, I’ve been needing Hate Hearts due to the fact I’m going for the Mr. Needlez Voodoo Shop, and so I can get Hott Meg in the mystery box easier. Now everytime I woke up in the mornings, my couples are out and not paying attention, I start hitting all the LOVE COUPLES! WHAT THE DUECE. i need hate instead of love…lmao.

I feel like I should open my WTD with a NB: I live on the east coast of Canada.
We haven’t gone more than 5 days this February without some ridiculous snow storm happening. I am SO FRAKING SICK of snow, of driving in crappy conditions, of digging my car out, of traffic backups, of roads being poorly plowed, of snowbanks that are taller than my car… ALL OF IT. WTD Mother Nature?? Did you go on vacation November and December and forget to make it snow and now you’re making up for lost time? ARGH!!!

Why is my movie theater still locked? Why is my love/hate meter stuck? I’ve gotten the first 4 prizes, Clammy Secrets, Wicked Cocoa Chocolatier, Liquid Sorrow Liquor Store, Kool-Aid Man’s Girlfriend, now nothing? I have 65 LH so far and the meter has not budged, I can’t even see how much a Cupid Statue costs? I already own the Brookfield Insane Asylum from Halloween. I’m at My Funny Valentine Pt. 7, and Quantum Quagmire Pt. 3. WTD?

Been collecting Hate hearts for days and the affection meter is not movin. As has been stuck on 132 hearts for days now, no matter how many Purple Hearts I collect.
The event will soon be over and it’s been a waste of time. I won’t be able to get the last two prizes at this rate. My hearts are not being added. 😦

I understand that a lot of people that play this game aren’t “gamers” and don’t understand how to play games. That’s fine, the more the people that play the more support the game gets :). But please stop complaining about the difficulty of the game! Because of all the complaints, this game has basically become a screen saver. There no longer is any skill required to play this game and I use the term game very loosely now. At least at the beginning of this event you had to pay attention to figure out which couples would drop which hearts. Now, because of complaints, it’s so easy and takes such little skill that the game has become boring. Please Tinyco, I beg you, stop dumbing the game down!

What skill was required? Time management was the only real applicable skill and still applies. It’s not like there was a bunch of rhythmic tapping sequences to master. The drops work on an RNG system, you can’t beat that with skill, it’s all about random chance much like a lottery. I don’t consider paying attention for a couple of minutes much of a skill either.
If you want a challenge I’d say not to come here and read the articles on events.

I can no longer progress in my “stuffed” little Quahog due to lack of space!literally not even one building can fit.the outer sides of it are already a mess trying to fit the latest ones….please (I’m being a gentle what-the-deucy-gal) more land!!!!

-WHAT THE DUCE…. Why all the hate for the PDA couples, tapping them is waaaaaay better than trying to bomb groups of whatever. And TinyCo even changed their colors to make it obvious who’s who!
-WHAT THE DUCE…. And why so much confusion over the love/hate meter? It honestly isn’t rocket science, and I believe there’s even this wonderful website somewhere that throughly explains how it works! 😉
WHAT THE DUCE…. Why did I have to remove all the decorations in my town to make the game stable? I don’t have everything I own on display, just my favorite things. It’s running a little better now, but I want to show off my stuff!
And lastly, the perfume sprayers may seem pointless, but Arnold blowing his cigar at them cracks me up so hard! Love it!

-Send Babs and Carter repeatedly on dates. (7 Hearts)
-Send Brian and Jillian repeatedly on dates. (7 Hearts)
– Send Premium Characters on dates.
-Have Arnold Pump Iron (3-4 Hearts)
With the Couples that’s 25-30+ Hearts every 4 hours making Hot Meg beyond easy to get.

Did you try to unlink and relink it? Check all your settings on your device and app to make sure it “allows” the app access?

Yep. Unlinked and then relinked my profile, made sure Faecbook allowed the use of other apps, i even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Weird thing is, whenever I try invite my friends it only lists the ones that don’t have the game installed.

Last ditch effort… try to unfriendly and add them again. Sometimes it doesn’t like adding already existing friends. See if that helps.

I had the same thing happen, I’ve tried forever to accomplish the visit
20 friends task. What l did was send game to SD card in your settings app menu, uninstall fgqfs. Go to app store reload game, start game, youll be at level 1 click the checkerboard looking icon at bottom of screen, lf you don’t see it play level 1 untill you do, click on it, go to accounts menu click log in with Facebook (if you have FB account) l have both, from there you’ll find your level 1 game and your higher level game, click on higher level game, continue, game saved will reload,these instructions are also on your game help menu.
Another option click settings, go to app manager click force stop and then restart your device, don’t just turn off and on it has to do a complete restart, my problems with TinyCo are much deeper, my game if lucky shuts down continuously 5 minutes is a good run, after over 20 complaints all l get is a computerized form letter, and I’ve had it with that. Good Luck with a very glitch filled game.

WTD!!!! Was one of the many unfortunate who had 250 hate thinking the statue was nothing. Had 4000 HK. Then looked at the odds of getting the statue i out of eleven. Well have no premium character this Valentine to help out. So getting HK is hard. Used the 4800 got Brian statue, Stewie, the fountain, the theater and a bit later the archery set.Grind all day Friday to Sat get 1000 point and I get the Coffee Shop? Four more to go and IF I get the Statue, when I grind for the next 1000 and hopefully the next. If I ‘m lucky enough to get the statue will I have enough time to grind another 100O needed to unlock.
When we asked to see the next prize in the series after the Bumper Car debacle. (Would of wanted the card earning liqueur store.) We were asking for the right to make an INFORMED choice when collecting hearts. NOT to be FOOLED at the last moment. There should of been some info before saying the statue needed his likeness to get free.
I went from being able to get the Cupid, which was basically set up as a easy win to all players, to more than likely not being able to get up to bat for him.
Posted something similar in game. Know I’m not the only one feeling this way. During Xmas so getting 100,000 cookies to buy all the boxes was easy all the activities and lots of skins, task, and various activities (Snowman and the abominable Creature) helped us earn tons of cookies.
Not having enough earned clams to buy any helper and not wanting to chance them on more useless deco trying to get HV earning items. You see how foul my luck is getting the STu##ed Cupid statue.GRRRR
Which they would at least make the deco Theater and Cafe and other items earn HV for us non premium player. Well I did get the Griffen’s House for Ida help but (Valentine 8 HV every 8 hours) does little to get the HV needed to open 11 boxes (my luck) if need be and to have a spare 1000 needed for unlock.

If you unlock Cupid statue the day before the event ends will he still be available to unlock for the 5 days. Cuz I don’t think I’m going to get 1000 valentines cards by the time the event ends because I’m still stuck in phase 2 part 10

WTD? I’ve had to delete half my town to make the game playable on my 2GB tablet. Every time there’s an event with tons of extra toons walking around (and right now there’s Chumbas, Sprayers, and Couples), the likelyhood of crashes goes up exponentially. I get 2-6 PDA couples every three hours, entirely because it crashes before 3 min is up. I’ve gotten all 8 couples (love or hate), only twice.
Don’t even get me started on the bomb missions from previous events. Zooming out is almost an insta-crash. This is better, but still frustrating.
I still love the game for the humor and the fact that they keep adding to it. I’ve spent money on clams, from time to time. But I’ve been a off-and-on programmer most of my life, I know that you can make a program not crash with a little freaking effort.

I know, but I’ve had some (Tiny Death Star, for example) that don’t crash, they just slow down when they need to cache something in and out of memory. Maybe they slow to a crawl for a few moments, but at least they run. That game, in particular crashed on me maybe twice in the 7-8 months I played it. Family Guy crashes 4-6 times every time I need to cycle through (4 times a day). And I’ve done all the tricks I can to increase the system memory. I feel like a masochist for still playing.
You’re right, that fact that many games have problems is a sign that most programmers today are sloppy, or ignorant of their art. “Back in my day, we had 64K of RAM, and we happy to have it!”

Every time I tap on the store, an error pops up that says “Child name fingerView not found” and makes it so that I can’t buy anything at all, meaning I can’t complete any quests and so I’ve been stuck for days! Please help! TinyCo won’t respond to me!

I have tried emailing TinyCo support since Thursday, and have sent them messages from the game. In the game itself, I have tried to access the store by tapping the shopping cart and tapping “GO” from the quest list or from a character’s tasks, nothing works.

As far as troubleshooting… what have you tried? Force close? Restart? Clear cache/data? Uninstall/Reinstall?

I have the exact same problem as Spence for at least 4 days, I have tried uninstall/reinstall, force close, clear cache, turn phone off/on again, and have emailed Tinyco twice. I am stuck in this game until they fix this! I feel cheated because I am a paying customer and will be unable to complete this event in time!

Uninstall and Reinstall usually fixes it. Outside that, they pushed patches for it. Try contacting them again.

Didn’t work for me, you tried helping, and absolutely nothing works, i’ve sent them event log files from this device and always get form letter response, my belief is with all the new quests, events, and different levels of play they’ve simply overloaded their servers, l told them to take a week off and upgrade their equipment. Just a thought 😕

– I haven’t been able to get all the stuff to unlock Stewie yet & I still can’t send Lois on a date. Am I just out of luck on getting the prizes they win for sending them on their prize dates? (aka Bed, Red Hot Column, Electricity Ball, Big Fireworks & Popcorn pit)
– Can you build more than one of certain buildings? I purchased the Family Jewels to help unlock Stewie, but it’s still available to purchase in the buildings tab and I’m worried one of these days I’m going to forget which buildings I have & do not have.
– My TarHeels lost to Duke by 2 points. 😦

There are several buildings you can buy more than once. It is up to you to spend those precious Clams to do so. Spend wisely. Make sure it will be worth it to you. Still a good purchase 3 months from now. 😉

WTHI s the point of the perfume sprayers, the dates and couples were nice but the phases were not brought together well as perfumes were only added to get Cheryl Unlike other events where everything felt necessary. The only point of phase 3 is to get hot meg

Follow the date guides. I’m not sending my characters on dates often cause I prefer them producing HMV but I’ve gotten 3 clams from certain date combinations.

WHAT THE DEUCE!? We need a MASSIVE land expansion. The consistency of new content is wonderful! But I am almost completely out of space in my town. I’d love to actually build the city instead of everything on top of eachother!!!

One noisemaker away from another 10 clams and TinyCo fixes the glitch. WTD?
I was able to save a pair of joggers from the last event. But, because I had to build a corral for the PDA couples and because the joggers would keep moving around, I zapped them Into oblivion. WTD?
Jesus has not given up a clam in a month. WTD?

The day the theater was put in I built it and when tapped got a black screen and a rebooted game. Then my WiFi goes out. Now that it is back up I keep getting Load Error. I have cleared out my phone memory and rebooted it. Then I deleted the game and pulled the backup. No change. WTD.

What the deuce? Bunny Hills is still not animated. What the deuce? Phineas still has no sound. Also I think there should be a Star Wars event:)

That’s unlikely now that Star Wars is owned by Disney ( when the FG Star Wars episodes were made they were with FOX – as is family guy – so the collaboration was easily done.)
Now being with Disney – it’s highly likely that Disney doesn’t want its property associated with a show as risqué as Family guy.
Thus making a Star Wars event highly unlikely.

Star Wars can be done, but as a parody. Unlike the episodes there can’t be direct mentions of characters, things, or concepts, but TinyCo would use substitutions resembling Star Wars. Quagmire C-3PO and Cleveland R2-D2 could make it into the game, but couldn’t be called C-3PO or R2-D2.

Yeah but Willy winka isn’t an ongoing franchise that is soon to be fresh in the public eye as Star Wars is. Disney will not want the association with family guy, and it’ll be a cop out if they parody Star Wars when in the past they have literally done Star Wars. There’s be more chance of a planet of the apes themed content than Star Wars .

Looking at the fact that in under two days I have collected 200/350 hearts no, it is not unattainable. (And I didn’t use a single clam during the entire event. Neither was I hooked to my phone’s screen)

Just keep sending characters that earn seven hearts on dates. It has been like 36 hours since the update and I have 201 hearts, and no I am not staying up all night to clear PDA couples.

Not exactly… if you can keep Carter and Babs going on dates at Morning Arousal and Brian and Jillian at the movie theater (or any other characters whose dates pay out 7 hearts at a time) you can get a max of 84 hearts a day from dates alone… add in the couples walking around and Hot Meg will stun your Quahog before you know it!

Thusly I am going for the hate prize ( 150 hearts ) and have unlocked everything in the freemium mystery box bar 1 item ( 2 when hot Meg drops in there ) and achieving 1000 Valentine cards per day is easy. In currently sat on 750 so I’m confident I’ll have Meg by bedtime tomorrow.

Why is it unattainable? Do you have couples you can send on the coffee and movie dates that will earn you 7 hearts a go? If so you should be more than OK.

The reason it might be hard to get is that waited so long to unlock the last two tiers of love/hate prizes (late last night). As soon as tier 4 opened I got it because I had enough hearts to buy it four times over, now I am starting the last tier with no hearts and have to get 350 before the event ends in a couple days.

No hot meg 350 hearts is not “unattainable”. Estimate you can get 22 hearts every 4 hrs (7 from cafe + 7 from theater + 8 from PDA couples). If you collect 4x a day that’s 88 per day so can reach 350 for meg in 4 days. And couples spawn every 3 hrs so you can do better than 4x per day there if you wanted. This event so much easier compared to xmas jesus needed clam characters and waking in middle of night to attack yeti.

I don’t actually use the dating at all and in a day I have gotten more than one hundred. Now it’s too easy to get the heart couples as they look completely different which kind of removes any challenge that there was in collecting them, but makes it pretty simple in collecting for her. The real question is why is she not a character? Cause a multiverse version in the show is not just a different look for the person, but a whole ‘nother person, so what’s up with that.

She IS a Character in a way… she is still Meg regardless of the universe they are in. It is still Meg, just in a different costume Skin. Just like Handsome Peter and Fat Lois. Still them… in a different light.
I was curious too how they would do it. I think due to Bitch Stewie and Brian are new characters.

Oh what the deuce!
Firstly, I have no idea that the cupid statue is important for unlocking cupid therefore I selected the hate prize for Bonnie. Now I had to unlock the mystery box so many times but yet still no statue to be seen.
Secondly, The glitch for the date of Lois as I’m still stuck at district. I hope Tinyco could prevent something like this from happening again for example unlocking district 10.
Thirdly, I accidentally wasted more than 90 clams because I tapped too fast without realizing that I tapped for completing the selected task without the given the period of time with hard earned clams. Thats very frustrating.
Anyway thanks a lot for you addicts for opening this thread so that we can complain something about this game here. This is my first iphone game that I had ever played and I’m happy theres a forum for it that can help me a lot.

I second Alissa’s comment about the cold… most days this last week have been negatives and notabove 10 degrees… oh and all the ice on my roof… WTD!! Also afraid I will not get Hot Meg!

WTD — unless being used for questlines, Glenda and Ida have been exclusively battling perfume sprayers. I have collected some bonus HV sporadically, but NOT ONE CLAM! Has anyone collected a single clam from this task? More than one?

Travelling home by taxi yesterday, driver only went and fell asleep at the wheel, thankfully a whack to his shoulder from me and lot of hooting of horns woke him and he hit the brake BUT he then went huffy when I asked him to call another taxi to take me home, he really thought I would let him drive me the rest if the journey. What the deuce….
