WTD! I’ve attended several parties as a kid that had piñatas and never, upon smashing them, has only one candy dropped. What the frak kind of piñata is this? Candy is supposed to be bursting out all over the place!!! Just sayin’

Hi my game hasn’t loaded for several days now. It says “There was a problem configuring the game. Please try again.”
I’ve been working on the plutonium quest with Stewie. Idk what’s happened but Im not seeing an update for the game if that’s what it’s needing. Any ideas of what’s wrong or solutions? I miss my game!!! 😭😭😭😭

It is linked to my email but I cant get into the game at all. I’m not sure what steps to even take! This is going on the 4th or 5th day without playing. 😬

WTD. How does TinyCo expect us to collect 55 candies within such a short time? In about 5 days worth of time, about 60 latchers will spawn, so unless there’s a near 100% drop rate to the candy (which there isnt), people will likely have to pay if they want to fully unlock Peter’s costume.

What the Deuce!
1) Latchers again!?!?!!??
TinyCo needs to listen! You tell us time and time again that they listen, the players overwhelmingly responded to the polls stating we really don’t like the latchers and yet again here they are.
2) Carl’s back to tease Android users and prove to everyone just how much the staff at TinyCo are the Apple fanboys that I’ve been ranting about for a long time. He shows up just before an event an underproduces for Android users (this time not a single clam). The same can’t be said for the Apple users who got their clams served up on a silver platter.
3) Broke mechanics strike again. The latcher debacle of 2015: hereby to be known as Latcher-gate. Tinyco employees need to go back to school and learn basic math and how to tell time before they should be put in front of a computer to code for paying players. I don’t want to believe the coders are populated with “D” students and high school drop outs; yet, here we are faced with overwhelming proof that some aspects of gaming are far beyond the mentality of certain coders of the world. As many issues as this game has had (insessant crashing, broke features, platform favoritism, etc.) it’s hard to see how they even function. How on Earth do they ever expect to do an IPO and go legit gaming house when a core problem in coding deals with the most basic of elementary math?
4) Outsource helpless desk. Don’t mean to pick at this one but they’re giving jobs to India and thus taking them away from US citizens. This style of helpdesk also is a pain in the butt to work with and are mostly non-responsive to issues. So much so that our beloved creators at this website are doing a better job at addressing issues than the aptly titled Helpshift that TinyCo has hired. They’re perfectly good at Shifting the work onto any non-hired help.
Final Note: I’ve delved into Tinyco as a company. Really shocked by the big names of the Dot Com era that are at the helm. As I peel back the layers, stay tuned for the full expose on how this company and other companies in the gaming App business do things that may shock and are a bit toward the nasty of psychological manipulation to drive your money into their pockets through use of monetization of you as a user that makes this Evil player look like a Saint! Evil out!

4: A quick FYI… Helpshift does NOT run TinyCo support. They only created a program for TinyCo to put in their game. ALL messaging is handled in house by TinyCo, no one else. ONLY TinyCo California located employees. All updates to the program are made by TinyCo, in house, in California. (Side Note: I did meet Helpshift, while in California, at their office, in California USA. 😉 )

Not to split hairs on this one but you have had the wool pulled over your eyes if you believe that to be true. I’ve researched both companies. They work closely together and there are only managers and higher in California. Just give me a bit more time and I’ll be done with the report. They’re one of the study cases in the book I’m writing.

You know what really grinds my gears? Plutonium. It’s all blue and in that case and it’s really hard to find. I mean, I know Mr. Pewterschmidt can just go to the Malt Shoppe and see if he has any lining the walls of the place. And Adam West can just scream and make it appear, because he has like superpowers because he’s Batman. Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-BATWEST! And that ***** Tom Tucker gets some from a confidential source or whatever, but he’s real stingy with it. Where’s Doc Brown when you need him, huh? Hey, Doc Brown? Go find some more Libyans. And that’s what really grinds my gears.

WTD I keep logging in and Carl pops up offering me clams to watch a short clip and when I accept it tells me there are no clips to watch. Don’t advertise free clams if you can’t back your offer.

What the duece… I cant believe there are people already done with district 11. I guess if thats how they want to play thats their business as long as they are spending not hacking but wow thats a lot of clams! you ladies speed through it for the sake of the blog but i dont understand why other people do it. the really annoying part is that they then have the nerve to go on the fb posts and announce that they are bored and demand new stuff to do. i mean come on, seriously? the district just opened less than 3 days ago!

WTD- so many coins nothing to spend them on give me more land I have to squish my town to look silly could do with 5 district sized spaces just to make the town look more reasonable like a town and let us have some water expansion what point of boats for 4 squares of water around the beach I just want make my town look big nice and with space not like some cramped up mess of buildings

Not enough land though. 3 spots….. when the developers want us to buy and when more things and no where to place them. I do not want to pick and choose what to display. I have played this game religiously for a year now. I don’t speed up missions, enjoy the time it takes in the district’s, but if I don’t get a sizable chunk of land….WTD tiny co.

WTD any idea why the game says the Pawtucket Brewery is “too important to put away”? I have already crafted everything available from it (just so I could put it away) It doesn’t do anything, doesn’t even pay coins. Takes up a big chunk of space. Would like to put it into inventory, but no go. Anybody know why? Curious if I am missing something.
Ps too bad they eliminated the repeating of the NY tower quest. Would put it into inventory, then pull it back out. Was making an extra 10 clams every few days completing it again. Doesnt work anymore though. 😦

I think it has more to do with show continuity. Since it is Peter’s job, you shouldn’t be able to remove it.

This isn’t really a what the deuce, just something that really annoys me about the game. I absolutely love QFS and I don’t mind waiting for new content or how rushed events are or anything like that, what really annoys me is some of the action lists for characters. For example, Vinny’s longest task on his own is only 6 hours!! And Consuela only has about 5 tasks. Mayor West has loads of tasks of varying hours, which is great, but he has like…two 12 hour tasks and two 1 hour task but nothing around 2 hours for example. I like characters like Roger who have pretty much 1 task for each amount of time and lots of different amounts of time, like 16 hours, 18 hours etc. I think either Bunny or Alissa mentioned that Brian has five 2 hour tasks, he doesn’t even need them
Sorry for the rant, just something that bugs me a lot!

I really love the game and I have spent a lot of money. Here is my only issue every time I play it forces a close on the game all the time. I have lost out on a lot of things because of this issue. Such as the hearts from the couples due to the force close and when I get back in there gone for another 3 hours. Please tiny co fix this problem …..

Why tap handles is very hard to get.. why why why.. I did the activities for like more than 20 times and I only get like 5 out of it.. this is crazy.. please reduce the difficulty to get “tap handles”

when you guys do another competition for the best looking town, etc. can you make it so you can just copy/paste a screen shot in the post? the way you have to do entries is kinda cumbersome now. 😕i know it’s not really a what the deuce, but it is kinda complaining lol. thanks😄

My WTD is that I love our little game but I have literally NOTHING to do in it now. The weather is dreary at the moment (usual story here in UK at this time of year), weekends gone too fast and work’s first thing in the morning tomorrow. Is it too much to ask for a little Family Guy distraction? Please tell me something’s coming soon. Easter Bunny doesn’t count…

Has anybody else had any clams go missing since the end of Valentines? Before the end of the event I had 400, and now I have 135. I definitely haven’t spent any either. I’ve messaged TinyCo, and am waiting for them to get back to me, I was just wandering whether anybody else had the same problem?

Usually that happens to me when I get too tap happy and accidentally speed up a task round town. You didn’t notice anything getting done sooner? Or any new items in town? Buy Arnold or Benedict?

No, I didnt buy any premium items, characters or boxes during Valentines at all. As for speeding up, I sometimes lose 5 or so clams due to clumsy fingers, but never nearly 300 of them. I’m convinced its a glitch, I’ve been wracking my brain for a while about how I could have accidentally spent that amount and come up with nothing 😦

Do you have the Gingerbread Mansion from Christmas? Due to the payout of items on it for the Event, the Clam cost to speed it was 375. It is still in place to this day. Made the mistake once of accidentally forwarding that one. I am not sure if there are any from Romancing the Clam that are the same. Just a possibility I figured you may look at.
Outside that, once you message them from your game they should be able to track where they went.

No I don’t have the Gingerbread Mansion… 375 clams to speed it up is nuts!! The only possibility I can think of is the Pawtucket Brewery, as I have crafted a couple of items from that since Valentines ended… But I’m always so careful to check I have all the items before I craft, plus I just checked and there’s a warning message about spending clams that comes up if you try to craft without all the items and I can’t imagine having missed that. I messaged TinyCo about it just before I first posted on here and I am still waiting for a reply, so hopefully they will be able to resolve it for me 🙂

TinyCo replied to me and refunded my clams, although they didn’t tell me where they went… Im just glad to have them back, especially now we have a shiny new district! Thanks for taking to the time to talk to me about it as well, you guys do such a good job both here and on the TSTO site 🙂

My WTD is why can’t California make up its mind and stop raising and lowering gasoline costs? A few months ago we were enjoying low comfortable gas prices, and now here in my town it has risen to over $4.00 a gallon of you pay with a credit card. WTD?????

In the UK we would be the equivalent of $6.50 per gallon. We pay £1.10 per litre and petrol is cheap right now (was as high as £1.35). Amercia has notoriously low fuel prices.

Unfortunately, that’s everywhere right now. In in Florida, ours has already gone up forty cents a gallon and is still climbing. Also, if a station is charging more for credit card use, that ain’t legal either. Report them.

What is the point of changing currency every other event? I have over 1mil in coins and nothing to spend them on except all the decorations I already bought. Stop making the new items only purchased through clams. Maybe you could do both! Coins or clams

where’s this new district stuff coming into our Quahogs LOL??!! *WHAT THE FRAKKIN DUECE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?*…I loaded up on clams last night and had a little over a 1,000., NOW down to 3 hundred something after purchasing Buzz Killington and a couple more buildings I’ve always wanted that costed clams…now so frakkin bored I keep speeding up Buzz’s quests just to be done and over with lmao…Also still collecting beer can hats for Pawtucket Patt!!! -_-

We need MORE LAND!!! why can’t we purchase land AS NEEDED like Tapped Out? So incredibly annoying to get so much stuff and no way to organize it without storing a ton of items…

I completely agree! I would like to see the creators of this game place everything they have given out on one of these maps. We get more land in “the fine arts district”, but that’s barely going to fit what they’ll put out for the events. I’m just going to delete all roads and coherence from my map, and jumble the stuff all together to look like nothing. That way, I won’t have to worry about accommodating the indecisive money beggars.

I had 853 Hate hearts and 58,670 Homemade Valentines. I had already gotten all of the Love/Hate prizes. I bought ALL of the Prizes from the Homemade Valentine Mysterybox. But I still had all those Hate hearts and and Homemade Valentine’s left over.

WTD! After all the fuss about King Butt, how hard he was to get, the Best Of event where he again was pretty hard to get, working hard to get him, etc… He sucks! All he says is “Yeah” or “Oh”, has barely any tasks, and is boring! Nor did he come with a quest line (at least, in the Best of event).
I get more fun out of Phineas and Barnaby and other free minor-event characters.
Was it really worth all that effort, and hand wringing, over a character who does next to nothing?

Once you complete all of the Brewery, yes. Once you made the limits of each item and Material Drops are no longer needed, the Brewery turns into just a Brewery and then all the Material drops clear from the quests and you can send Stewie to get rid of the last of the Chumba Wumbas

I havent completed crafting everything twice for the brewery and havent had chumba wumbas since before valentines. I have the 2 i crafted is only i see..

You need to buy everything you can possibly buy from the brewery. Once that’s done, you can use Stevie to eliminate the chumba wumbas. Until then, they re spawn.

I wish I could remember where all the districts were originally. I would really like to put all the buildings that were unlocked with them (the ones we repair in each district) back where they started and build around them. But everything got moved around as I ran out of room for buildings and decorations and now I can’t remember where it all goes. It’s killing me.

WTD!! and I really mean it.. WTD! I’ve been waiting for the big puff o’stuff to be fixed since the New Year’s Event 😦 I’ve sent ingame tickets, and posted in here.. And the thing still is invisible or if it appears, it looks like an explosion… it was 100 clams!!

It is so odd. Mine still works just fine and I can still see it. Sounds like a possible rendering issue in your game? Have you tried the old uninstall/reinstall to see if that gives it the kick it needs? If your game is saved to an email or Facebook, your progress will be saved to that email or Facebook.
I occasionally uninstall and reinstall my games just to make sure I have the latest update and no corrupted files causing issues. Let me know if you have tried and if not… if you do and it helps. 🙂

ooh… I haven’t Tried it!! I know the process, but I’m scared that I might screw it, and lose everything! As far as I can remember the signs weren’t that clear about overwriting the game – It said something like “changing accounts will irreversibly erase your account” … I heard they changed it.. but that’s some area that I dont visit so often

I was worried too, but gave it a go after all the fine tuning they did on it. I unlinked my Facebook account from it (stupid Facebook shut my account down…again) Uninstalled the app. Then Reinstalled it and relinked it. Went so smooth and fast it shocked me. Lol.
Just protect yourself before doing so. Take a screenshot of your main screen with your Clams, Coins, and progress all visable. Then take a Screenshot of your Player ID (Menu, Account, LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG # in lower right) THAT is what they can locate all your progress with. It is good to keep handy at all times.
Make sure you got plenty of room on your device Memory and a good strong connection signal.
Then go for it. 🙂
Nowadays I swap between like 7 different games for the site info we pull. Works like a charm logging in n out of each one no problem. 😉

WTF? Why do they end the quest lines when they don’t even have the next event ready? I can somewhat understand if they were in a hurry to roll out something new but to just be sitting here twiddling my thumbs when I could be finishing some v-day dialog is downright annoying!!!

I know right. They were pretty adamant about not extending the V-day event. That they could at least have the decency to tell us why they didn’t extend it and not have anything ready to follow it. New content usually takes about a week to test and if something is not ready to go quite yet then they should have extended the V-day event until it was ready. Now people are going to feel bitter because they weren’t given that extra chance to get Cupid and Hot Meg.

WTD?! Why does the character selector resets everytime i pick someone?! I don’t need to go thru the list 60 times. Maybe you could add a tiny algorithm that would allow that not to happen or preferences people that earn items first?
Secondly? “Play with headphones! It’s the best!” After a day of that music… it’s so much nicer with no music at all. Turned that right off.

I saw someone mention morning arousal being glitchy before, so I placed mine and played with it a little but I didn’t notice anything weird. What, specifically is the glitch you guys are seeing?

If you turn it, the entire window section “ghosts” and puts a mirror image of it AWAY from the buildings.

Well I think it’s nice to have a break! Did enjoy the valentines event though, wasn’t to much pressure items dropped quite quickly etc and even got hot Meg although I didn’t finish last few quest lines etc also didn’t get arnie and benie as I wasn’t spending clams on them, was a shame but got the main things! Hope there is more land being freed up next had to move and cram things in and I have like over 2,041,550 in coins!

I’d actually enjoy a break. A week or two would be nice. But if it’s coming I’d at least like to know when to expect it so I can get as early a head start as possible.

I agree. I’d like a break to nuke my town and finish crafting the last item in the brewery. I’d like a break before any more events too so I can finish some tasks in my B game and whittle down that long list.

WTD…yet another snow storm coming tonight to drop more snow and if we are lucky enough ice too! Last night it was -15, please Mother Nature were ready for spring or at least temps above 0! Now hopefully some retailer some where will have just one more bag of salt. The search begins😟

I’m getting real tired of my gas/heat running nonstop! My gas bills have never been more ridiculous. 😦

Worst winter ever I spent 420 on gas, heating my house. I cried when I got that bill. Raising kids, paying bills, putting food in the table, just trying to get by and it knocks me flat with a bill like that. I no sooner got that bill paid and the furnace breathed it’s last. I thought I’d never get through that year, but I did.
During that following year, as it got warmer outside I began the arduous task of finding every heat leak in the house so it wouldn’t happen again. The highest the bill ever went after that was just shy of $200.00.
My advice? Get your house inspected, find out which gaps your money is sneaking out of. Tighten up your ship and she should sail without sinking you, financially.

One winter, my gas bill was $580. YIKES! I cried. Had no choice, if I didn’t keep constant heat the pipes would have froze and burst. Needless to say I moved to a less costly place after it warmed up. Lol.

It’s been -15°F for the last two nights here too and the snow will start soon. All the stupid windows leak; the ones in the basement have ice on them which the cat likes to lick. 🐱 Ugh, I’m so sick of winter. I’m tired of being cold. ⛄

They brought him back to life in the episode where Peter becomes Tom Tucker’s acting agent. They apparently were able to revive him after the murder mystery episode because he was rich.
