Hello There Clammers!
Quahog has gone gangster and brought us an offer we can’t refuse! As Don Corleone has decided to setup shop for his counterfeit cookie operation right in Quahog…and he’s enlisted Peter’s help!
During the first week of the Quahog Mob Event you’ll unlock the Fatfather, hire goons to take down a bunch of rival cookie trucks, defeat Conseula at her own cookie game..and collect lots and lots of cookies! Of course there will be questlines to help along the way. Completing the questlines will help you earn more cookies and mob rep (which will help you unlock cool prizes!)!

Read the questline above it’ll tell you the questline that unlocks him. You will need to work through a bunch first, but then you’ll trigger the one to unlock him.

No you will still need conseula to use the outfit. But you don’t need to use the outfit for this event…so you don’t need to buy her. If you win it it should stay in your inventory for when/if you purchase her. But again..you do not need to purchase consuela to do this event.

I cannot understand how can i obtain 15 mexican candies for diabeto if i can forklift only 4 times (4×3=12). Plus i made the first forklift BEFORE finishing the consrtuction of the the candy shop, so it’s probable i lost the first 3 candies. 😦

I don’t get it. I have 3/3 goons hired, but what do I do with them? Do I have to have mobster Peter for them to do anything? There are no cookie trucks anywhere… Frustrated by the usual complete lack of any real information from the creators.

Scratch that. I just reloaded my game and it’s back to 22 minutes, instead of hours. Not sure what happened, but glad it was just a small glitch.

The game just started effing up or is.it just me? It says.my game has stopped working and is.kicking me.out. i hope to.god this isn’t a repeat of the star trek crap that almost made me quit this game altogether. Im thinking it has to do with the leaderboard coming in tomorrow and.that’s it.

I’m having a terrible time logging into the game now. It keeps giving me messages that the game has stopped working. I have done all of the usual troubleshooting methods, and I have tons of free space/memory, so I’m not sure what is going on. I’ve been playing since the beginning and this has never happened before, and the only way now to even get on at all is to constantly re-start my phone (that’s good for one login). This is slowing down progress for me big time. I have sent a couple of e-mails to TinyCo. I truly hope this gets fixed soon.

Thanks Bunny. Unfortunately, none of those seemed to help much. Not sure what really happened as I didn’t have any issues until I reached Mob Mentality Pt. 6 with Diabeto and the Consuela’s safehouse quests. I guess I will just have to wait until I can get some in-game help from them. I’m still absolutely loving the heck out of this event though!! 🙂

I had exactly the same problem, I had a town packed with animated decorations, buildings, characters on outside tasks & NPCs. Putting all this stuff into the inventory or indoor tasks made no difference.
I basically had to nuke my town which I really didn’t want to do as I had my town just the way I wanted with lots of stuff going on. I’ve never had to do anything like this before & had been playing since the halloween event last year.
I’d also tried re-installing numerous times to no effect, the only thing that worked was nuking, which suggests I’d reached the finite limits of my device.
At least I don’t have trouble finding space anymore – my town is now largely a huge expanse of grass!

I’m still waiting for replies from yesterday morning – no one home. LOL. I did discover that when I still had the brewery to do, Mort had an open box and alternated between labels and dog food bags. Now that the brewery is done, Mort does not show the dog food bags until I hit the chihuahuas inside the safe house. There is also no counter in the upper corner of the screen for accumulations of the bags – they drift up and off the screen like the leaves did in the last event.

Hi, my GF has an iPhone 5s. The game was working great for her until this new update. Everytime she tries to start the app she gets “connection error”.
She has restarted her phone and reinstalled the app but she still has this problem. Is it a known issue? If so is there a fix? Thanks.

Thanks for the advice. She has over 20GB free storage and has closed all other apps. She only plays it using WiFi (the same network I’m using without issue). But since the update she just can’t connect.

I think my personal leadingboard is bugged, atm i have a Mob Rep about 850 but i was able to unlock every price in my leaderboard even consuela, i figured it out when i was j4f clicking on consuela… strange. i have no 3th party app installed or something like this..

Anyone else items taking forever for peters skin?I’m having a hard time getting the wingtips and cigar boxes to drop. Weird because the cigar boxes and rings are both rare and I had no issue collecting the rings.

will the cookie trucks only appear on the roads if I have roads?
I removed all my roads so the trucks appear all over the map, It would be nice if the trucks only appeared on the roads, it would be easier to locate them, my mapped is overcrowded with buildings and makes clicking on the trucks more difficult.

Ok, whats the point of having more than one RV?
Whats the point of having a goon capacity over 6, if I can only have 6 goons in mu queue?
I use goons as soon as I get them, so I never HAVE more than 6 goons.
Or, if I dont play the game for more than 3 hours, I only have the 6 goons available that I made, as I cant queue up 9 and get them all at once later
Feel like I wasted clams on the second RV as it gets zero use…

As each takes 30 mins to queue, you can release the 6 and make another 3. So have 9 available at all times. I am constantly having to use them all over the game for Raids and Cookie trucks, so I am going through them fast. But it is all in how YOU play the game and where you are on the questlines.

This event is causing me a lot, and I mean A LOT of axiety

But you (bunny) are rushing things for the sake of the sight, so youre already in the top guaranteed. That brings it down to 99 others. And im seeing comments from other people that have clearly rushed thru the event spending clams left and right, so thats more people that Ill never get ahead of.
Ive bought all the cookie factories but short of spending bundles and bundles of clams I dont see how Im ever going to get the Golden Griffin house

what kind of “leaderboard” encourages spending real money?

You are not looking at the Capacity correctly. 6/9 means you have 6 wandering your town or in queue. Once you release some of them from queue you can make 3 more up to 9 Capacity.
Once you use any Goons on any Raids, the CAPACITY count will decrease until you used them all.
In short… make 6, release the 6, as soon as they are released to start wandering your game “HIRE” 3 more.

Im saying, as SOON as I get a goon (or multiple goons), I use them to take on a truck. That removes him from my capacity. So I can then bring it back to 6/9 (but never over 6/9)
As soon as I release 6, I can make 6 more, because they all get used
So far the most goons you need at once is 5, so theres never a reason to hold on to 6 goons and continue storing more
So like I said, the extra RV is completely pointless, at least during this phase of thr event

For me… they aren’t but that could be because I am in the Warehouse. Many times I need at least 5 there, then the Cookie trucks are 5 at MAX. So yah, all in how you play the game. No need just yet to splurge on the Clam RV. 🙂

The kind that helps a company make money. I have played other games with leaderboards and I found that there are some names dropped in with extremely high ratings just to encourage the purchase and spending of premium currencies.
I’m not saying this is the case here, however I will remain pessimistic about this event model every time it is implemented.
They also use the results to attempt to pinpoint hackers by limiting the “high scores” and comparing those to purchase receipts. Legit as a method of identification and banning of hackers… Though I wonder just how prevalent that is in this game…

I don’t the point of the leaderboards… People who hack their phone would probably rank higher since they can get clams w/o limit but those who actually spend money are behind? Furthermore are you limited to 1 of the prizes from the leaderboards? So I can’t get Stewie’s suit w/o giving up the Don Character? If these are the cases then this event is just horrible and stressful.

I’m confused with what do in this event. I’ve hired a couple goons, trained them and now they just walk around. When I click on them, apparently they clear purple trucks (which I don’t see) and I can’t hire any more goons so it looks like I have to do something with them. Also, do I have to be at some level or complete some mission to see the character’s tasks that payout cookies and fedoras? I only have them with normal payouts.

You will earn prizes on your rank within the Individual as well as Global. So it is correct. As you hit the goals in Individual, you can win up to 10 prizes there. 😉

Seeing that people are talking about Warehouse minigames and I’m not even halfway to unlocking The Fatfather, I guess the leaderboards will just show who spent the most clams lol. Have fun, guys!

I have finished warehouse wars and have done it another 2 times (on my 3rd now) but I’ve noticed that when u have to send 2 characters on tasks to get past an obstacle the mob points have not been adding to my total…. Has anyone else had this problem? I have messaged tinyco but still waiting for them to reply. Plus I also lost clams because my game crashed just after using them. They were deducted off of my total after I speeded up the goons. I tapped a decoration by accident and the game froze so I had to close it and reopen it. The goons were back where they started but my clams had been taken….!

After getting the bad roaches, you can go back through and supposedly get better prizes. Twice now I should have received an extra prize of 100 fedoras; what I got n reality was 25 fedoras and 5 (I think) cookies. I should be up to the fake gondola bridge; at this rate the leader board might be a fail if they won’t award fedoras that are earned.

Only one more bottle cap bush to get. It just takes forever to get the needed items – 12 hours each for a CHANCE at the bubbles. Ugh! I guess I’ll just keep out of the warehouse until next week when it will be updated. Maybe by then Mort will be dropping dog food bags.

TinyCo never answered my questions but they did fix a problem. Although I still need to get that last bottle cap bush, Mort dropped a bag of dog food today and his job shows multiples as reward for competing task.

In fact, my Mort doesn’t even show there is a possibility of winning anything other than the ticket. usually if there are more than one drop, there is box, not in this case.

It is only in testing right now. Only a select amount of players have it in their game. Once testing is done, they will determine if it is stable for ALL players and launch it game wide. Until then, only a few will see it come and go.

Bunny what might be of a great help to many of us is if you could list what characters are used in each event. My inventory is packed full of buildings/characters so to go one by one looking through every skin to see if they drop something and then finding the matching building is getting to be a royal pain.

Maybe I’m the only one but what about the other Diabeto? Does it stay just a deco and this ones a full blown character? I’m up to 105 clams being a freemium player and debating the taco shop.

My advice is never waste clams on buildings that drop items. I’ve always noticed that by the time I get the rest of the items the clam cost to just finish the character is less than the clam cost of the building which will end up in storage anyway. Only spend the clams if you really like the look of the building and will keep it out.

Ok, so far. Questions for TinyCo: Why is Jerome, a superior athlete, gaining cigars? Carter smokes money cigars, those that have him, Vinny does as well. Speaking of non standards: Freddy Krueger. Sure, everyone may not have him, but there’s a fedora collector, personified. As I mentioned in another thread: Spock and/or Kirk in pinstripes, from ST:TOS episode A Piece of the Action. Playing a man’s game. Capt. Kirk: “The name of the game is called, uh… fizzbin.”
Also, in a different thread, some TNG characters interacted with a 40’s era holodeck program. Haley’s done a lounge act. Cranston bakes bad. Guinan wears hats.
All useful, other than generating cash.

I’m liking the event so far, good theme and all but I’m leary of the leaderboards. Looking forward to seeing how high I rank when it launches, but feeling uncomfortable with the knowledge that the higher I rank is a testimonial to how little I’m living my real life. Just hope I’m not number one😥

Everything is going smoooothly so far. About to hit indivdual prize 2, and not far off from having FatFather. One thing I did notice though, was invisible buildings. My YachtClub and a few others have disappeared, the building is still “there” just invisible.

I did the same thing, hired one goon and then after 30 minutes incubation he left the building and started walking around town. That’s normal. He’ll just wander around town until the cookie trucks arrive (not until after Part 3 of the main quest with the Corleone icon, I think). Then I’ll be able to send him to raid the truck for cookies. That’s what the firefighters and fire captains did if released from the firefighter academy, just wandered around town until I tapped on a fire or fire monster for them to fight. I’ll wait until I have enough cookies for Peter’s Fatfather suit before hiring more goons. They seem to earn 10 cookies net (cost 15, earn 25).

I’d recommend not just waiting for Fatfather to hire more Goons. Are you going to find a better deal than 10 Cookies and 5 Fedoras every 30 minutes that don’t require any additional resources or characters? All you need is the original 15 Cookies for the first Goon. By my math it’ll take you just over a day (25hr) of actual play time to get the 500 needed Cookies for Fatfather, and that’s on top of all the Cookies you’ll gain via other tasks and quests.

Isn’t an unlocked Fatfather necessary to complete Part 3 and get the trucks to start coming? The Fatfather task makes it seem that way. Once I have 500 cookies for Peter Fatfather, the excess could go toward preparing goons in advance. But without the trucks, they can’t earn any cookies or fedoras.
The characters earn cookies pretty fast, though, and I’ll have some from the Cigar Merchant. And maybe the Fur place, I might need to spend the cookies to get those silly shoes fast enough for Fatfather. Bonnie must be getting tired of watching all those gangster movies.

The trucks appeared just as I got to the start of Part 3! So Fatfather is just needed to complete the part, but I can start hiring goons now without him.

Yep. I’ve been sending Goons out to clear trucks since pretty early on. Couldn’t tell you exactly when, but it corresponded with the in-game dialog. My point was that you’ll gain Cookies via the Goons/trucks faster than you will without. 10 net Cookies every 30 minutes is quite a bit faster than any of the Cookie-dropping tasks. The next fastest are Peter’s and Chris’ 1hr tasks, and those only drop 5 in a full hour. I’m already over 500 Cookies (even after a looong night’s sleep, which I needed), and am just waiting on the rest of my Wingtips. And that’s *after* spending some of my Cookies on the Shady RV, Cigar Merchant, and Fur Coat Emporium.
If you have the Shady RV, with the refresh rate of the trucks being almost immediate, as long as you visit the game at least once every three hours, you can keep up that 10 every 30 rate. Though I recommend a more frequent schedule, to take full advantage of Peter and Chris.

I just bought a shady RV for 125 cookies but is there any difference to hiring goons without it?
Should I also buy the fur coat emporium for more cookies and stuffs or just save more cookies for later use?

Best use for Fur Coat Emporium right now is Wingtips for Fatfather. Otherwise you only have Bonnie’s 2hr task, unless you want to drop Clams on the Zoot Suit Shop, which still might not always drop Wingtips (unless that’s all you have left to get). Of course, the earlier on that you buy the Fur Coat Emporium, the more likely you’ll be able to click on it the 150 times needed for it to pay for itself before the event is up.

I decided to save up more cookies for later use as Bonnie has only one cookie task even if I had all the wingtips I still need to use that task. Lol!
Its better to invest in goons as they generate more cookies.

Here’s what I’m hoping for: after we upgrade Peter’s mansion, we get a deco of it like they did the warp cores (I really want the Stewie and Brian statues for my lil town), we get decos of the piñatas and chihuahuas, the description for the prizes that we earn at the end of the event TinyCo specifically states “prizes” so I hope we can earn more than one – I really want the Stewie skin and the Don’s cat along with one of Griffin house sets. I’m not very thrilled with the rewards we earn along the way except for the Consuela skin.
Do you know how many times we will get to run through Consuela’s warehouse? I have earned the cockroaches and am going back in again to earn more of the little buggers. (I love the little switchblade.)

I am enjoying the event so far. I had a feeling that when they gave their description of the June event that it sounded like it was mob related in nature. The only thing I have a problem with is the leader board and if you place in the top 100 if you also get all of the prizes below you or just in what you rank. I surely don’t want to miss out on the top prizes but also on the lower prizes as well. There looks to be a lot of cool looking stuff from the Godfather movie and I just have to have it as those 3 movies are by far my favorites.

It isn’t even live. Not to mention all those Global prizes won’t be awarded until the end of the Event. So we wont even know for a month unless they release details sooner than that.
Otherwise, once we go through all the Individual prizes, we will post on them.

You would think that Vinny would have at quest or least a task to get cookies and hats in this event. Maybe they’re saving him for later, but this seems like the perfect event for his character!

It is only 1 day in. It is not even live yet, not til Monday. Why give up before you even try? The global wont impact your personal Leaderboard. 🙂

it seems a little complicated, so i am gonna keep checking back here. i have found the star trek event was way too cumbersome in the beginning and then i was too far behind to catch up. i did complete the firefighter one and the s&m cow one, but not the birds in the beard peter one. oh well. i will try to understand it so i can complete this one.
i thought it was interesting they added a leaderboard. i like leaderboards bc they make me more competitive. i also like the prizes they have for the end. good idea.
do you know if you unlock diabetico if you still have the diabetico decoration? i got him (decoration) from a past event and i think it would be a little strange to have a statue of him if there is an animated character of him walking around 😆

I can’t remember what task I have just finished but since then mort no longer drops cookies or hats? Plus does anyone know if u get a different prize every time u raid the warehouse? Or do u just keep getting the 2 cockroaches?
