Hey there Mafioso!
Week 3 is in full swing and there is a lot going on around the game. One of the new items introduced into the mix is the Event Area Changing again. First a Safehouse, then a Casino, now the Takanawa Family Estate.
With all this content, it helps to know what you are in for when it comes to these additional areas. We are here to help break it all down.
First you will Complete Cookie Crumbles Part 8, which is having you Upgrade the Mansion. As soon as you do, the Event Area will change and you will see a Pop Up on the screen for The Takanawa Family Estate.
This is another 3 Star Challenge to earn an additional item for your game. God’s Gift to Humans: The Asian. The Event Area will show The Takanawa Family Estate with a Giant ! at the Entrance to start out the new Raids for the Week 3 Content.
The New Week’s Questline, Good to Be a Gangster, will trigger in the game and shortly after the Questline for the Takanawa Estate. Moment of Zen.

HOW DO I START THE RAIDS/CLEAR OBSTACLES?
Just like before, tap on the ! at the Entrance to begin the Raids on the Takanawa’s. Tapping on the ! on the First Obstacle will start the First Raid and tell you how to clear the First Obstacle. In this case, The Samurai Ghosts Obstacle will start it. You will need FOUR Wise Guy Goons from Copahavana to take them out. You will have a total of 3 Obstacles to go through in order to completely pass the first Raid and get the First Star.
Once Complete with the Raid, you will see the Dragon Statue at the end Sparkling. Tapping on it will let you know more about the Takanawa Raids and Prizes.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MOMENT OF ZEN PART 1?
Similar to the Casino, there are certain Buildings that will not unlock for purchase in the game until you COMPLETE the First Part of Moment of Zen. That means finishing the Raid of all 3 of the first Obstacles, getting the First Star, and seeing the Pop Up that you cleared it showing the Buildings Unlocked Symbol.
Permanent Mistakes Tattoo Parlor & the Kimono Shop will unlock upon Completion of the Task.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I COMPLETE THE FIRST 3 RAIDS?
After you complete earning the 3 Stars and the Asian Prize, you will have the option to continue on more Raids. Optional Raids. Completing each additional Raid will help you gain even more Mob Rep.

Did you see the pop up showing the Dialog completed and the building unlock icon? Moment of Zen Part 2 already pop up in your game? If so, contact them. If not, try tapping on the task pop up in your task menu.

So I just got the new update and now I don’t have super cowboy USA cleaners. I only needed a few more video tapes to unlock him. Now I can’t even re buy him he is locked. I am pretty upset about this. It is now impossible to get the grand mansion.

It’s listed in the details on each one… most recently the last. Some got #1 by mistak . If you do NOT have the challenge icon in your menu… you shouldn’t have had the tasks.

I play every day at least 6 to 10 times and I’m guessing I’m so behind cause of the tuba thing. Cleveland Jr still doesn’t have enough experience to Get the get medication quest to finally get past Good to be a Gangster pt1. Rise to the top pt4. Prized possession pt8 and Lifestyles of the rich pt5 are the only quests I have and I’m seeing you post all these new quests and buildings and characters and I’m wondering if I’m so far behind I should just give up? Also I still have the Takanawa mansion which I’m on a the Salary man obstacle with 12 remaining on getting a the fatime man and Chris to complete. The only new thing I saw in the shopping cart for a week has been the swat truck which I bought that just cruises around doing nothing! Am I the only one this far behind? Just wondering! Oh yeah, one more thing what’s up with the hour glass thing that has The weekly challenge in it with four question marks? I haven’t seen a weekly challenge yet that I know of! Keep up the good work ladies!

Weekly Challenges won’t trigger until you reach the coinciding Week it was released, so you may not see them until you hit those points.
I would suggest playing the Questline for Jr. Usually it walks you through in a way you Level them up. OR… just by pass the questline and take the HIGHEST hour tasks (like 10 or 12) and send him on that. It will give out the most XP and level him up the quickest.
I would say to just continue to play at a pace that works for YOU. Regardless where you are. Just play and set small goals that you know you can reach, then when you get there, set another one. Don’t worry about completing every single thing. Just focus on the main Questlines and nothing more. The ones you will need to keep moving forward. Leave the side quests off to the side. 🙂

Actually, Bunny, I find that taking the smallest task like one hour, and playing them 8 or 9 times (or max 10) vs just playing the 10 hr task once, is going to earn more XP and and level them up quicker.
The shorter tasks are better, presuming you can get in and send them back on task once ever hour or so.

Wow. I am starting to think this event is a total FUBAR. Before I use to have 6 gold truck, then it went to 1 and now none!
Great finally got a chance to work on the outfit again and hey they are not spawning anymore. GREAT!
Still 70 gloves short and no chance because no gold trucks spawn. It seems like every day something else is wrong with this event.
Really starting to be an effort to log in because I will find something else that does not work.
Anyway any suggestions about the trucks? I mean sitting and staring at the iPad for 10 minutes is not how I define fun. Help!

Gold Trucks only show up once a day, they are nothing like the Purple and now Armored ones nor have they been… so check back every 6-8 hrs to see it they appeared yet. 🙂
If 24hrs have passed with none, report it.

I finished “moment of zen part 1” on the takanawa estate but then it reverted back to the casino. Now I didn’t get past “all in part 2” for the casino because of the upgrading, so is this supposed to happen? Or should I be reporting it to tinyco?

I have never yet got to the 4th additional raid. I am usually finishing up my third when it is time to upgrade the mansion, and it moves on to the next whatever needs to be raided! *chuckle* I suppose I could wait to upgrade until I finish the 4th run, but I am too curious to see what is next!

Not sure where to put this. It’s not a WTD. I’m just looking for some guidance.
Need goons to get boxing gloves. They also help with Fort Nox. They’re easy to get. Only cookies.
Need characters to get items to hire wrestlers and showgirls. Same characters get both items. Need wrestlers and showgirls to get Washy Washy. Also needed for Fort Nox and Takanawa Estate.
Will probably be needed for other items in next update, as well as new person to hire.
I AM SO CONFUSED!!! In your opinion, which is the right direction to go.

It really depends on what you need the Queue/Capacity slots for and what your Capacity is. If you only need a few Luchadors/Showgirls… try to keep one or two wiseguys always in the mix. That way when the trucks hit… it wont take long to get a few more. If you have space to always have 6 on standby… then always have 6 creating in the Copahavana.
For instance, if you have 9 spots and need 7 showgirls… make 7 showgirls and 2 Wiseguys.
As they dont take much time at all to create and you have plenty of time on the Gold Trucks as none expire now… you can take your time. Cleveland only drops Mob Rep and Cookies right now, so not a LOT of help. not worth stressing over anyway.

I try to clear 1 truck a day to ensure i get his costume. It only takes 3 hours to hire the goons to do so. Any more than that is taking precious time away from the main questline.

For me new characters and main questline are my first priority, I haven’t been worrying about the leaderboard and leave all side quest until the end if there’s time.

Sorry if this is the wrong section, but I have a question related to goons. At the current moment, I have 6 capacity and one Shady RV. I was looking in the shop and saw two more RVs. One cost 250 clams and the other cost 1,000 cookies. If I buy the 1,000 cookie one, will my capacity go up? If it does how many goons can I hold? Thanks!

Every time you add an RV… you get +3 Capacity. The Queue will always be ONLY 6 you can hire at a time, but once they are done you can put them into your town and keep hiring more until you reach your capacity.

I almost have enough cookies to buy her, but I am planning to use Bunny’s strategy and wait to use them until after the next update. I am sure there will be buildings to buy and new decos, too, so until the last day before the end of the event, there is no rush.

Almost have all the items for Tricia’s skin but only have 6,000 cookies. And I’m not paying over a 1,000 clams to get her. Are they really serious about her being 20,000 cookies? And having to spend the cookies on quest items (buildings and bamboo etc) I’m pretty certain I won’t get her. And I’m really bummed that unlike just making sure we complete event lines etc that we can get characters (like with King Butt, and Jesus etc) that we have to compete with each other. I really wanted Don but cannot buy the clams to push me over up over the 10,000 mark. 😦

Yes. Similiar to Takei, Kirk, etc… she is more of a last item to buy with Event Currency. So no need to get her now. Wait. Keep earning towards her and see where you are closer to end of the event.

Is your game updated to the 1.9.5 Version in the App Market you use? If it is, you checked of all requirements, then you may need to contact them.

Just an update, tinyco responded to me being banned from the leaderboard and they said that they had “pushed a fix” for it and to try it again after restarting…it didn’t work unfortunately, but it’s nice to know I didn’t do anything wrong and that they seem to be working on it…fingers crossed. Have a lot of other people had this problem?

Progress in the questline to buy out the 2 Cookie RV’s. (125 Week 1/1000 Week 2) This will give you a Capacity of NINE Goons you can create for your game. So make the first 6, release them, then make 1 more. 7. 😉

I don’t know if someone has said this yet but as of today TinyCo has given more chances to receive Tubas. There are now 3, 2 hour actions ‘Make Quagmire Ogle Lois’, ‘Make Jerome Distract Pit Bosses’ and ‘Make Chris Eat Cookies’. These three in addition to the old ‘Get from Atlantic City Gentlemen’s Club’ and ‘Get by clearing Gurl Scout’.
Thank Goodness because I was afraid at the rate I was going I might get Mr. Washee Washee before I even got Clevand Jr. I’m even almost finished raiding the Estate for a third time, garnering more showgirls, and yet have yet to make progress on ‘Good to Be a Gangster’ because can’t complete pt. 1 yet.

Not sure where to post this and I’ve looked about! I’ve just unlocked kingpin consuela but now I have a check Mark but no sign of consuela! If you people at FamilyGuyAddicts weren’t doing the bang up job that you are, TinyCo would be going through the five stages of grief with this game. 😦 Its IS you guys who keep this game up and running. I hope TinyPeep realizes the ally they have in you. Although FGAddicts DO NOT have the ability to change things in the game, they give TinyCo all the opportunities to fix problems with the dedication put into this site, and all is accomplished On THIER OWN TIME. I’m so sorry if this is in the wrong area and to bother you ladies with this but I’m at my wits end and feel like you guys are the only one to get a point accross out there or get real answers for the little people lol.
I’ve been locked out of the event since the time changed over from the 11th to the 12th. I’ve seen several people on Twitter and through the comments in each of your new blogs others are also having the same data errors since the same day.
I personally have tried all of the steps provided by you & tinyco help on 5 different devices. I’ve read others also have tried & all of us are still locked out. This cannot be a personal issue esp after trying everything mentioned on 5 different devices.
Is there anyway you could make a post asking who else out there is effected so tinyco can see this is a serious glitch of sorts and rectify it?
All if my friends can log in but as soon as they try my account they get the exact same error msg too.
Again I’m sorry but I just don’t know what else to do. It’s almost been 2 weeks and we’ve missed out on so much… 😦

Sent it along to them. Make sure that you and anyone else you know about write in to them via email (help@tinyco.com). Make sure they note in Subject it is an Error on FG:TQFS, and also attach a screenshot of their splash screen (like the one you sent me). This is an issue that they need to physically go into the games to resolve. So each person impacted will need to reach out to get it fixed. Allow them time to do it too, if you email them and don’t hear back within 5 days… send a follow up. Also, watch for any “autoreplies”. No matter what the autoreply says, respond and continue responding until you have it fixed. Autoreply just “cleans out” the tech queue and keeps only those still needing help in it if they respond.
Let me know when they get you patched up. 😉

Do you have any recommendations for someone who has submitted a ticket from within the game – two weeks ago – but hasn’t heard back from support? Quagmire erroneously became locked and it says he requires a buttscratcher, but there’s no quests listed. I’ve been jammed up and I can’t progress beyond the quest that requires him.
I’ve even uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but no love 😦

If you do not hear back within 5 days (this includes auto replies) message them again. It is always best to do so from the game. If you do get a reply, even if it is autoresponse… reply to every single one until the issue is resolved. Autoreplies usually trigger when there is an extreme volume of messages in the system and they are trying to clear out those NOT needing help anymore and only keeping those that do so they can get focused on.
So if it has been two weeks, definitely message them again and let them know you are still stuck.

They haven’t replied. Interesting note: when you uninstall and reinstall, it at least appears from within the game that the original ticket has disappeared. But the one that’s in there is a week old and I’ve added a few comments.

If you have already replied… then wait. Wait at least 5 days each time to allow them time to first get to you, look into it, then reply back.

I’m on Destory Fort Nox Part 2, and I’ve gotten it to 48% damage. It’s been checked off that I got it to 50% damage, but it’s still telling me to get it to 75% damage.
I already contacted TinyCo, but figured I’d let you guys know just in case anyone else has this problem.

It depends on WHERE you were when you triggered the task. It will only account for your current status. Not previous. For instance, mine triggered just AFTER I destroyed it, so it only checked of destroy… none of the other % ones. So you just have to keep going til you hit all points once you trigger it.

I had the same issue. I messaged them and within 24 hours they said it was a glitch that they patched but unfortunately after you knock it down once you need to start knocking down again, and once you get to 75 percent the second time it will clear. They gave me 150 clams for the trouble, so make sure you keep messaging about it to get your clams!

Has anyone had tuba drops? I am working on my 40th time and I have had just one drop. At this rate, there will be no Cleveland Jr. in my game and it is making me irritated.

I just saw 4 comments in a row they are dropping fast. As I keep telling you, you need to message in to them if you have not. It is something they need to see personally in the games that are still stating the drops still not working. The games that are reporting no changes have to be handled on a one on one basis.

I just logged into my game and saw that I can now get tubas from character actions and no longer by clearing the girl scouts, they just drop shirts now. It seems Quagmire, Jerome and Chris can all drop tubas in addition to the premium building.

I just checked a Girl Scout and now she shows just a shirt in the drop box (earlier she showed both a shirt and a tuba). I still need 8 tubas for Junior. Only one scout in my town at the moment. Should I be worried?

They’ve added tasks for Lois, Quagmire and Jerome to drop Tubas now. Hope that helps.

I have completed the limited time task for the dragon statue but it has a giant red X on the picture of the item where you see the grand prize. Behind the red X is a giant dragon statue with a partial checkmark on it. I have completed the mission successfully as I have the dragon statue next to my octopus prize. Is this a graphical glitch? Thanks.

Help please help. I love this game but when I am half way to earning the tubas and two thirds done with shirts it’s beginning to feel impossible especially when I haven’t started Fort Knox and only have two stars on the raids
This event feels impossible. I can’t imagine that after all that I still haven’t even started collecting The video tapes. Help please this doesn’t feel fair to someone who normally is on top of the game when it comes to family guy

We have reported it to them many times. Thing is the tubas dropped as intended in our games as well as their test games. Many other games too. More so after they pushed the patch. I am even seeing reports today of the increased drops helping unlock him. So for those with them NOT dropping Uncommon Rates, you really need to message in to them so they can look into your game and why they are not working. They need to see INTO the games that are stating having the issues still.

Are the cookie trucks still running? I cleared my last gold truck about 12 hours ago, and haven’t seen one since. Decided to clear the rest of my purple trucks this morning to see if that helps the spawn, but they haven’t come back yet either. Are trucks still running? I’m just starting the second run through the Takanawa estate and am still 10 boxing gloves short of finishing boxing promoter Cleveland.

Aaaargggghhhh. Had goons training overnight for my last few lots of gold trucks. Woke up this morning with 2 in my town, got rid of one and then three hours later once my goons were trained up ready to get rid of my final gold truck…gone!!!!

I just noticed that as i still need 10 golf balls! Uncommon? Meh. I have almost all the rare drops for mr washey and. Schoolgirl Trisha! Ha-ha. Ohhhh wrong game :).
Side note like the walkthroughs as they generally help me plan tasks to not ties up critical characters, missed on Jeffery for learning level 3. Now will take extra day to clear that task. 😦

Has anyone elsehad their trucks dissappear? I was close to getting Cleveland’s outfit (I was trying to focus on one thing at a time), but the gold trucks stopped appearing, followed by the purple ones.
…which is silly, since I still have missions to clear them. (Not to mention I was only 10 or 15 boxing gloves away from Cleveland’s costume)

Everything right now requires too many goons.. I’ve been producing them 24/7 and still am 1 tuba away from Cleveland Jr. I was so sad when I saw the 24 hour timed quest required him. First time I’ve ever failed a timed quest, ever. This event sucks for free players.

There is testing going on with the “Watch Ads” option. It will vary on who gets them while they continue to test it out. They keep switching around trying to make sure all aspects work. Until they are sure it works… they will not release it fully to all players.
