Hey there Toady Roadies!
Looks like that we got that Weekly Challenge into our games now. Many of you will see the Pop Up appear right on your screen.
Tapping on the ! above Peter brings the Challenge into the game.
Let’s take a Closer look at the Challenge itself. Back in just a bit with the details (as I was driving when it hit).
First up, the first item I saw when I tapped Peter ! was the True Fan Challenge, then the Prizes, and lastly a Clam paying task. Now I assume not EVERYONE will see the items listed below. The True Fan Challenge may be same as before and more isolated to just Premium Users on the game. So again, MEANT to be hard and you MAY have to use Clams to complete depending where you are in the game. As for the “A Rising Star”, I am still checking on that one to verify.
Per TinyCo: I was correct. The Challenge will trigger ONLY for those in Phase 4 Content AND have made an In App Purchase.
TRUE FAN CHALLENGE
For this Challenge, you will need to Clear out 4 of the Darker Bears from the game, Clear 4 Toad Users, Clear 12 Swarms of Bees, and Have Joe Lion Grow White People Dreadlocks.
CLEAR 4 BEARS
- Gather 8 Picnic Baskets @ 4hrs each (24hrs) – You have 3 Characters (Joe Lion, Bruce, Mort) and a Premium Item (Nature Gear Emporium) that can get these for you.
- Train 8 Park Rangers @ 1hr each (8hrs)
- Clear 4 Bears
CLEAR 4 TOAD USERS
- Clear 4 Toad users w/ Rockstar Peter @ 3hrs each (12hrs) – These should spawn every 6 hrs. If they are not, message TinyCo from your game ASAP. And no worries, they are making sure ENOUGH will spawn to hit at least the 4 in the 24hrs.
CLEAR 12 SWARMS OF BEES
- Gather 12 Honey @ 2hrs each (24hrs) – You have 5 Characters (Avril, Bruce, Dr. Hartman, Mort, Brian) and a Premium Item (Beehive Tree) that can get these for you.
- Train 12 Beekeepers @ 45mins Each (9hrs)
- Clear 12 Red Head Bee Girls w/Swarms of Bees
HAVE JOE LION GROW WHITE PEOPLE DREADLOCKS
- 12hrs
So as you see, this one is basically to the last moment. Having some Honey, Picnic Baskets, or any Staff Trained already will help you out. Also remember it is a TOTAL of time, but if you break up say the Honey into multiple Characters you will be done a LOT sooner. I would send Joe out right away and get that one out of the way.
I know you have concerns on the Spawn times and so I gain am trying to get Clarifications on them and will Update when I do. I do know that in my game, I don’t seem to have a Spawn issue with my Bee Girls or the Bears. I see at least 2 Toad users a day, but will see if I see more this time.
REMEMBER THIS WILL BE TIMED 24HRS ONLY TO COMPLETE WHEN IT HITS YOUR GAME!
TRUE FAN PRIZES
The True Fan Prizes seem to be the usual Decorations of items from the Event Area. I won’t know til I get one if it is animated or a Building instead.
1st Prize: PeterPalooza Sign (Decoration)– Sits on a 2×6 Base. No animation
2nd Prize: Spooner Stage
3rd Prize: Festival Merch Kiosk
GRAND PRIZE: This, much like in the past, won’t be known until the end.
THESE WILL BE TIMED 24HRS ONLY TO COMPLETE WHEN THEY HIT YOUR GAME!
A RISING STAR
This one also popped up for me with the others. I am still working through it to see if it is a Questline similar to those from Mobsters where you can go for a bigger payout. As I get the Spawns I need to clear it, I will let you know more.
I will say that it works well with the other Challenge as it is similar items needed for a 5 Clam
payout instead.
There you have it. A few “side” options in the game. Remember, THESE WILL BE A CHALLENGE. They are meant to be. No simplicity in them so that is why they isolate them to those that may be more likely to go for them. You do not have to complete them if you do not want to.

Family Guy Addicts 
I have been participating in the event and I have “Hired” over 30 bee keepers. I’ve used all of them, but currently have 6. No matter what I do, I always have a minimum of 12 swarms of bees. I clear them and they just keep coming back. Usually when you clear they stay gone, until a few more are spawned a few hours later. I have contacted TinyCo., but have not received a reply and I’m starting to get really frustrated with it all. Is anyone else experiencing this? I play on 2 different devices so I know that it doesn’t have anything to do with that. Please help, anyone. I honestly feel like giving up on the game due to the lack of response from the company and all the glitches..

Odd thing is others are BEGGING for more of them. You don’t have to clear them if you don’t want to. They should stop and MAX out. Outside that, waiting while they look into it is all you can do outside our suggested basic troubleshooting

I have gotten rid of 4 dark bears and only one counted. Still have more dark bears but not enough baskets to make it in time. Why didn’t my bears count? Is it because I was going back and forth between bears and bees? All the bees counted…

You will have to check with TinyCo on that one. They all counted correct on mine.

Man I was so unlucky with this one…….
I needed to clear 3 more bee swarms with 5 mins 2 go. I had my beekeepers ready to take them down but they just wouldn’t spawn
Then with 30 seconds to go… BAM! they spawned……….. but only two of them lol

I filed a complaint through their 'Contact Us' and referenced the fact that a quick web search reveals many others also couldn't get the spawns needed. I also referenced previous event problems where the spawns just didn't come quickly enough and web searches again prove I'm not the only one experiencing this.
I think there's no more purchases of Clams from me.

You know i think the problem with this challenge was that the rules for the bee drops changed eith with this challenge or with the phase leading into it, and there was no explanation. I know i had 6 red head, and 4 dark bees and 2-3 toads that disappeared with out being cleared by tasks, then i had the current drop of 2 every 3-4 hrs. It was the disappearing folks that annoyed me, cause that removed opportunities to clear them in advance of the spawn rate.
Even now i can only get a max of 4 bee girls after 24 hrs, and this is a new cap, definately had more before. Plus no notice that dark bees were clearing out! I think they should have just stopped spawning them rather than taking them away!
My 2cents. Just saying Tiny co should have communicated changes, Not leaving it to the chat blogs to explain away their actions.

I get what you are saying. Typical of Events… spawns slow or go as each new Phase comes out. I have tried to note all I could. Including the details on the Dark Haired girls, which I posted on before the Challenge hit.
I do wish there was an additional note in the game also… still… out of the games I play and the two I write one, TinyCo still far outweighs information offered to it’s players. It is still limited, but the FAQ can be quite helpful when put to full use. 😉

I agree that the grand prize looks like a wolf head. The only wolf I remember is the wolf from the cutaway in “Roasted Guy”. He dressed a lot like the Bee Swarms and the Female Concert goers. 🙂

I am still stuck with beekeepers so I am not able to train any park rangers. This makes me feel like deleting this game. I had all the beekeepers and only needed 2 to complete challenge. I waited all day and no bee swarms. Already contacted support.

I just got my feedback from TinyCo. They said they had got a lot of feedback but the spawn rates (for Toads & Swarms) were working properly / as intenddd. They’re keeping an eye on the situation.
Meh, doesn’t look promising that anything will be done.

Waited 10 minutes in game needing 2 bee swarms to finish the challenge. They didn’t spawn for me either. Used clams to rush, blah blah blah.

My internet went out for a few hours, so won’t be getting this…it would just have gone straight into storage anyway. Maybe next event I’ll be able to do one of these 😊

I’m so annoyed at this event, I spent my time wisely and had a good 2 hours to wait for my final bee lady to respawn but she never did, instead almost immediately spawning after the timer had counted down. I had the bee keeper ready and waiting from 4 hours remaining but was waiting on respawns. Iv wrote to tiny co asking if there’s anything they can do as this will stop me getting the grand prize.

This was my response from support :
“Thanks for sending this! The spawn rates for Toad Users and Swarms of Bees are working as intended. We’re getting a lot of feedback about them, though, which we’re keeping a close eye on.
Toad Users appear up to four times throughout the day, and Swarms of Bees up to eight. If Toad Users have not appeared in 8 hours, or Swarms of Bees in 4 hours, please let us know!
If you have additional thoughts regarding the event, please send those our way and we will make sure the team sees this.”
I tackled this task by first clearing bears, then clearing bees. Had I thought to look up the spawn rates ahead of time I would have done it differently, since by not clearing the bees that were already in town and waiting to get to them until after I cleared the bears, I made it impossible to spawn enough bees in the given time.

This was pretty easy for me. I already have a bunch of baskets and honey, and the rest isn’t too hard. Easiest challenge yet. Which I can only assume means the others will be difficult.

Was trying to figure out the grand prize. Kept thinking the silhouette was the head of a character but it doesn’t look like any character (maybe Todd, Peter’s first family dog). But then I saw the “mouth” shape as a gun and it hit me, maybe it’s Bertram, or a Stewie costume, from when they were shank and fighting inside Peter’s body!

The other option I thought was that the image is a ruse. And we will be “Rick-Rolled” because it will be Astley instead if whatever we are racking our brains to decipher. 😉

Sad that I was unable to finish this challenge because the Bee Swarms decided to stop spawning. I was only one away from finishing and now I’m stuck with four Beekeepers.

Same thing happened to. Very crushed is how I feel. Worst I spent about twenty clams speeding things up.

It seems you can’t do all the bears, then do all the swarms. The bees stopped spawning for me, so I was stuck with 4 bee keepers but 0 chicks. I notified support, then magically 2 appeared, so I could at least start putting in park rangers. Then another 2-4 hours later 2 more bee swarms appeared. So completing the challenge was super tight, and I never had this issue before. Especially since the bee swarms used to drop items for characters, then I’ve basically done nothing with them.

Dark Hair Girls are not needed in Phase 4 as they only were there for Blammy Awards. So them going was meant to be, however the Red heads still pop up around every 3 hrs.

Another frustrated and annoyed player whose bee girls suddenly stopped spawning. Had 2 to go with 3 hours left… Then nothing. Gave up in disgust last night. First time I’ve never been able to complete a 24 hour task. This morning, still no bee girls (!) – and finally 4 suddenly popped up. I agree with other comments that the sheer unfairness makes me want to stop playing. It certainly kills my motivation for future “challenges” when it’s not a challenge, but a guaranteed irritant with a rigged outcome.

It wasn’t rigged. I understand you are upset… but from what I am seeing on my end… many got through it just fine. Those that struggled need to reach out to TinyCo as the spawns were working in a lot of cases higher than usual. Those that did not have a spawn, need to have their game looked at to ensure there isn’t something else going on.
I also noticed Players were depending on Dark Hair Girls, as they dropped Blammy Awards… they are not needed in Phase 4 and should not come back in Phase 4. However the Red Heads still popped up every 3 hrs.
In short… reach out to TinyCo.

Its a good point people do need to contact Tiny Co however I myself have actually reached out to Tiny Co first of all when I had 30 mins left of the challenge and still needed two more swarm of bees to complete but had none in my town. No reply in time so the time then ran out and I therefore failed so I contacted them again the reply I got really annoyed me as they said the swarm rate was correct. I’m sorry but no it wasn’t because if it had been I would have completed as I had bee keepers ready and waiting. Tiny co also said to keep giving them feedback as they are aware they’ve had a lot of feedback regarding this issue so I don’t understand how they can say swarm rates were fine but then mention issues it’s a contradiction and something they are not willing to correct. I actually considered buying clams again after deciding not too after the Star Trek fiasco I’m so glad I didn’t I really share other peoples frustrations!

A side note… you need to allow time for a response. I know you want instant… but they are Tiny after all. They handle it all in house. Nothing at all like the Gaming Giants that outsource to thousands of call centers. It is all just them, so you are in line essentially behind THOUSANDS of others also wanting replies. It will take time to go through them all. Same as it takes us time to go through all the comments here. 1 against 1000 can take a bit to get to each and every single one. 😉
Here is an aspect of the bigger picture from what I saw on my end….
In Phase 4, Dark Haired Bee Girls were no longer needed. They dropped blammy awards, so a huge waste of your hard earned resources to keep them to just drop a coin. So they went away as scheduled to until needed again. I saw many that stated they didn’t see the Bee Girls were in fact referencing those Dark Haired ones. I myself was watching the times on the Spawns and all 3 games I did… the spawns were on time and as intended. It cut it close, but that was the point of the Challenge itself… to require you to be right on it in order to achieve it. I got just the right amount of Toad Users and Red Head Bee Girls to beat it really early in one, closer to the 1hr or half hour marks in the others as I missed a clearing.
I do get your frustration and understand it. I am just seeing things from my side too… that many Players may not have cleared them at the specific Spawn points and therefor missed a spawn of them or were relying on the Dark hair ones.
Overall… I would not say there isn’t a correction in all this. I know it may be hard to see from your standpoint, but all those that did express concerns with the spawns and had a struggle due to them are being very closely looked at. Keep in mind a company will not tell you every lil aspect of their company and all they do behind scenes. Just know that the results of this one WILL make an impact on future ones. 🙂

I did reach out to support. They didnt care, nor are they prepared to do anything to rectify the situation.
I dont mind missing out, i do mind if it is completely out of my control.
They have just lost another player due to their inflexibility.
It is just sad as i have been playing since the start.

This was my issue with the whole thing. I needed 1 with 2 hours left and she never spawned. I managed my time well, just didn’t get enough. Reached out to support who said everything was working fine. The problem with “fine” is that the bees spawned at a rate of 8 per 24 hours, yet we needed 12 in that time. Sounds rigged to me.

It wasn’t “rigged”. They actually increased the drops for Bee Girls and Toad Users during the 24hr Challenge, you just had to stay on top of the Spawns to clear them before the next Spawn hit so they wouldn’t MAX out in the game. Many were able to get them all in time. Including 3 of our games. But again… it was a thing you had to stay right on… hence the Challenge aspect.

I too had the same problem with the bee girls I had 3 before I paid to speed up the beekeepers then they disappeared. I complained to TinyCo and they said that there wasn’t a problem. I think if everyone who had the same problem with the missing bee girls should complain as well so that they will realise that there was indeed a glitch in the system.

Let me ask… WHAT Bee Girls disappeared? Dark or Red Hair? I ask because Dark Hair are meant to go in Phase 4. They were only there for Blammy Awards and therefor a waste of your resources to have them drop coins.

I was 4 bee swarms short with 5 mins to go so I spent 24 clams to make the 4 bee keepers and only got to use 2 of them because I ran out of swarms having only cleared 10. I’m not impressed, I should have been provided with enough swarms to complete the task. This has seriously dented my interest in this event.

I was set up to be around 75% done with plenty of time do the rest, then I forgot to login until an hour after the challenge was over.
Reading over some of the comments it looks like it might not have mattered. In a 24 hour spell I did not spawn a single Toad User, I had 3 already roaming when the challenge started but never saw any more. One actually spawned just now, 32 hours after the challenge started. Looks like the real challenge came from TinyCo changing the spawn rates and possibly the max amounts, I cleared the fist Toad User with over 17 hours left, that was more than enough time for another to spawn.

Many actually did make it in time. And you do have to be in the game for them to trigger, so you may have made it too. 😉

Add me to the Legions who were 1 swarm of bees away from completing the challenge before it went away who simply couldn’t because game wouldn’t spawn any. I had the bee keepers ready and waiting, but they never spawned.

Count me lucky as two chicks popped in with minutes to spare, Looks like 3 hrs to drop 2, now stuck with two keepers that need to clear so I can get 3 rangers to work on the Honey Bear!
Still no dark bee girls since they disappeared this Am!
Any one getting dark bee girls since phase 4 or are they now gone?

Add me to the list that needed 1 more bee swarm. I actually spent a few clams to rush the process also. I had 10minutes left with no bee swarms. I emailed tech support which to reply as yet. I also attached a screen shot to show how close I was, and also the time remaining – hope it may help my case….

It is pretty sad reading through this comments when everyone is prepared to complete the challenge but the spawn rate just is not corporating. I somehow was able to complete the challenge but like others waiting for hours for the bee swarms girls to appear when that never was an issue before. I now see 4 of them roaming around my town when I don’t need them. I did have to also wait for for a toad user to show up but this was around 8 hours left so wasn’t as stressed as I was with waiting for the bee girls. Now onto trying to get DJ Herbert.
