All this crazy New Content just means one thing… New Questlines for the Event. Questlines for the New Character/Costumes added to the game. Costumes like DJ Herbert.

Family Guy Addicts 
Didn’t get DJ Herbert until Wednesday (LP drops were tough) so was only able to get in one encore concert. Hope they keep something in the game that drops lighters for the DJ Booth as GUDG hasn’t dropped a single one.

When they open the side stage, they need to give us the ability to do the concerts and encores we missed when the game moved onto the new phases. I know I missed a few, as I’m sure others have as well.

I have no problem spending time collecting DJ Herbert. My issue is that now I am at a deadend because I need DJ Herbert in order to progress on the main questline, thus preventing me moving further in the game!!

You have til the end of the Event to work on him. He’s not impossible, just more challenging. That is common for the game difficulty to increase as the game progresses. Don’t stress on it. Just keep going. Message TinyCo with your progress.

Well, I’m trying not to rant out of respect but I unlocked DJ Herbert and performed his concert, then when I went to collect the prize, I clicked on the checkmark on the stage and got booted out of the game. I’ve been trying for three hours (and reported the problem to Tinyco) and still, nothing. I can do everything else but I can’t complete that task and it’s holding up all the quest-lines involving DJ Herbert. Very frustrated….

When I tap the checkmark on the stage the game shuts down on me. And unfortunately, it’s been over 12 hours and I’m still stuck. Can’t do anything involving Herbert until that concert is cleared out. The rest of the game is working fine…

I like that the 2 long tasks for Joe and Herbert in Going Viral Pt. 2 coincide with their 2 tasks needed for an encore concert. I have noticed a lot of that in the last few events, where if you hit the timing just right, you can accomplish more than one goal per task! *smile*

i see a lot of players having trouble with LPS they are a always drop for me my problem is those dang tickets good luck everybody

Honey Gold Bears still not dropping records. I’m seeing about 1 out of every 5 clears. Herbert is impossible!

Give them time. They do it all in house. They don’t outsource to call centers worldwide like other game houses. Just them. Like us here. 1 against 1000’s. Going as fast as we can to answer all we can. 😉

I got very lucky with Alice Cooper but unlocking Carl and Dj Herbert for the main questline… No way I can do that in time with Lp’s 5/12 and concert tickets 16/28.

I still have 11 records and over 30 tickets to go, so it looks like I will be behind for the next phase. I don’t quite understand the reasoning for park rangers being needed for both, and concerts not dropping tickets anymore

Remember these side questlines do NOT have to be completed. You can wait on them til later on.

Am I correct in thinking that “Deadmau5 in the Hau5” is the main quest line this week? It is the one that must be complete to go to phase 5?

Yeah have to pause record collecting for DJ Herbert to clear regular bears instead… The challenge to get the Peter gate will be by skin of teeth, but if a new toad user doesnt drop before so long, it will become impossible to do! And I had started right away with clearing toads so one more BETTER spawn or Ill ragequit! heh

I know, but tinyco should understand that a player may feel afraid to spend so much only to coplete a questline… After all the time spent to earn that glowsticks :). May be i will leave these questlines for the end of the game… If i’ll have too many glowsticks

I think that is why they break them up now. Make them more a side option to be put off. They are also extending ALL of them so far to continue beyond the end of the Event… per the FAQ they sent us. So you don’t even have to finish it until after. A few items only available during an Event could cause a stand still, but I think it is great they are really making that effort to allow us to do it in “our own time” 🙂

Almost got him unlocked need 3 more records, I would gotten him sooner if I didn’t need to use my Rangers for the Challenge that popped up yesterday.
