Hey there Toady Roadies!
Looks like the True Fan Weekly Challenge Part 2 is now ready to go in our games. In order to access the New Challenge you will have to tap on the ! Over Peter.
The ! Over Avril actually starts another Bonus Questline with Clams at the very end and final Part, Becoming A Superstar.
Per TinyCo: The Challenge will trigger ONLY for those in Phase 5 Content AND have made an In App Purchase.
As I’m away at the moment, it’ll take me a bit to get the details fully up… but here’s the basics…
- Have Rockstar Peter ATTACK Mecha Astley 3 times. (Just an Attack @ 4hrs each)
- Have Joe Lion Keep an eye on Rick Astley (8hrs)
- Have Carl Party All Night (12hrs)
- Have DJ Herbert Discuss Social Media (10hrs)
Remember tapping on Peter’s ! Triggers it and it IS timed 24hrs from that tap. This also includes tapping “GO” from the True Fan Pop up in the task menu too.
Avril’s ! is ONLY a Bonus Questline with no limit.
Let’s first take look at the 24hr True Fan Challenge for this week…
24HR TRUE FAN CHALLENGE
Remember, tapping on Peter’s ! or any of the prompts that pop up in the game to “GO” to the Challenge will trigger the timer. So be careful and make sure you are ready to go. You will ONLY have 24hrs from the moment it starts. You can watch the timer in your task bar to keep track of how much time you have left. Now… on to the tasks at hand.
Have Rockstar Peter Attack Mecha Astley THREE times-
Most of you are already battling the Mecha Astley, so this will fit in nicely anyway. Remember this is JUST an Attack. Just a 1 Damage hit from Rockstar Peter @ 4hrs each time for a total of 12hrs. Nothing more.
Even if the Mecha is about to go down, you can still stay on top of this by using my “trick” at battling the Mecha Astley while it is in Cool Down. You just need a 2nd Character to help you out.
Have Joe Lion Keep an eye on Rick Astley-
This is only an 8hr task, so a lil wiggle room to work with on this one. Get it started as soon as you can.
Have Carl Party All Night-
This one is a 12hr task, so again some wiggle room to work with. Get him started as soon as you can though, don’t wait to push it to the last minute or you may miss out.
Have DJ Herbert Discuss Social Media-
Many of you were already sending him on this task, so you may be well set to go. As it is 10hrs, there is some room to work with but get him started as soon as you can.
Overall, this one is VERY doable in the time frame allotted. I am glad TinyCo listened about using “Spawns” for Challenges and left them out this time around. I would rather take my chances with something I can control, like tasks. I see a lot of people being able to finish this one just fine.
TRUE FAN WEEK 2 REWARD
For completing this Week’s Challenge, you will earn the Spooner Stage.
Spooner Stage (Decoration): Sits on a 6×10 base. It is currently not animated, so the fire does not move nor the lights. Not sure if this will be added at a later time or if it is “as is”. Will update if I get more information on it.
BONUS QUESTLINE BECOMING A SUPERSTAR
Avril’s ! was the first to pop up when I entered the game and started this week’s Bonus Questline, Becoming A Superstar . Remember, this is a Questline. It is not timed. As for the Clam reward, that comes at the END of all of it. You usually have around 5 Parts in a Questline to complete. So be prepared to have this one go on for a while.
I will update it as I can in a separate post, but here are some basics to get you started on it.
Becoming A Superstar Part 1
Avril Starts
Defeat Mecha Astley– This is a complete defeat to 0 Hearts and him going into Cool Down
Clear 3 Gold Robots– This will take a Defeat on the Mecha and you will need 3 Mechanics to take them out
Have Meg Look for Flashy Outfits– This is Regular Meg, Task is 4hrs
Reward 25 Glowsticks
, 1 Concert Ticket
, 2 Skull Guitar Picks
Becoming A Superstar Part 2
Avril Starts
Perform 2 Rock Shows– Requires 2hrs each, 1 Microphone each
Have Avril Write New Songs– 2hrs
Reward 35 Glowsticks, 2 Concert Tickets, 4 Skull Guitar Picks
Becoming a Superstar Part 3
Avril Starts
Defeat Mecha Astley– This is a complete defeat to 0 Hearts and him going into Cool Down
Clear 6 Gold Robots– This will take a Defeat (possibly 3 depending where you are) on the Mecha and you will need 6 Mechanics to take them out
Have Meg Try a Trendy Diet– This is Regular Meg, Task is 6hrs
***And that’s where I stopped. Got to wait for him to Cool Down for 4hrs before I can Attack him again.
There you have it. Another Challenge that seems doable enough if you plan your time right and another Bonus Questline with some Free Clams at the end of it.

So far the True Fan challenges have been fairly easy. I’m actually hoping that the grand prize is NOT Mecha Astley. In a perfect world TinyCo would give us a choice of 5 things to choose from.

I feel so behind I can’t do concerts because I haven’t unlocked Herbert’s skin… One golden ticket away. First I was behind because I had to unlock Jeff. Don’t know if I will be able to finish this quest😒

This weeks challenge was refreshingly easy. I finished with just over 10 hours to spare. I’m hoping the 3rd challenge is as forgiving 🙂

Not sure where to post this but… I am on Tricia’s Lady Gaga quest line part four which requires alice cooper to host the dead or something like that… yet when you click go or even go to AC separately that task is nowhere to be found. I alerted Tiny already but was wondering if anyone else experienced this. Obviously I cannot move on with the quest line due to this

Want to put meg on her diet task, for superstar part 3, but the only diet task is a 16hr one..is this the right task?

Yep, do you think I have to wait for the pop up of pt3? The only 6hr tasks I have for her are a beer one and one where she drops beer bottles for the brewery.

Yes. Some tasks will NOT show up until triggered by a Questline as they are a temporary only task.

This is much better than last week! I was really worried about this one as I got Rick Astley last night, I need to use him for Side Shows, battles and then concerts. I have managed to work this in with everything else and it is working perfectly. The timers go really well together. Tricia is battling him through cooldown, Peter is clearing a user now that he is free, to get the last building, and Rick and Meg are doing a show in the hopes of getting some hearing aids and the Barbershop Quartet. My drops for coats were really bad, then they were much better and I got them four times in a row. I hope that the GUDG’s 5th bubble is his instant purchase one, and not a fifth material. I have had a lot of difficulty collecting grease, I have about 7 at the moment.
I want to get the Stewie skin, assuming it isn’t another leaderboard prize, Weird Al and the GUDG. I kinda want Weird Al to be premium. I want him to be free, but at least if he was premium, I wouldn’t be worried about not unlocking him in time as he would be unlocked instantly.

I don’t think I’ll care which it is, the fact that it’s Weird Al is enough for me. 😛 I like some of his new stuff, and a lot of his older music. I think a lot of it depends on the familiarity with the song, it’s funnier when you get any references etc., a Best Of would be nice, something that gives variety.

There is something else that is bugging me:
From 6PM last night till 10AM this morning (GMT 0) i managed to get 3.900 Glowsticks. During that time i defeated Mecha Lvl.5 one time, performed One Encore, cleared the Neon Scorpion 3 or 4 times and the Neon Pegacorn just once, cleared 4 to 6 Gold Robots and 2 Silver Ones, played 2 or 3 Pop Shows, besides regular characther tasks, and never rushed any task. Looking at the payout of the tasks invloved there is something off…The Mecha Lvl.5 and the Encores only payout 250 and 150 Glowsticks right?

Just read the update on Mecha Astley and notice the 2.000 Glowsticks for Lvl.5…Even so, 1.900 Glowsticks for the other tasks still looks off…

Anyone else having issues with “Peter attack” not registering for the challenge. I have had Peter attack 3 times and the only one that has counted is when Mecha was defeated. Have forced closed game and messaged TinyCo.

Hi. Strange thing just happened: at 9:30 AM (GMT0) defeated Mecha Astley on Level 5 with the “Becomming a Superstar Part.1” on going and didn’t count for it…Strnagely enough ,as I had already 2 strikes on Mecha with Peter for the True Fan Challenge and 15 hours left on the timer, decided to use Peter to Play for Toad User and clear the last part of Rising Star…For my suprise when i got back in the game 2 1/2 hours latter saw that the Peter Task didnt started and the rest time for Mecha went back for 4 hours (I Know about the force close apps thing and i allways do it…). Now is couting and Peter keeps playing, but if you combine it with the fact that the defeat of Mecha didn’t count For the Superstar Task is quite strange…
Just na heads up: Hayley stopped being abble to defeat Mecha about 2 hours before the Becoming a Superstar itted, however her last strike counted…Guess from now on til Thursday i wont be able to deafeat Mecha at Lvl 5 a long side with Encores 1 time each a day…3 Times and Yooouu’re Out…Good pay out though…

I had a feeling that Herbert was going to be used for the second part so I sent him on short tasks until the second part showed up and if he wasn’t used I would send him on his encore task. I figured if Joe Lion was used for a task on the first part that Herbert may be used also.

Ah *** misread the length of Herberts task thought it was 8 hours and I would just get this done in time (he’s on the 24 hour task for encores currently) now it’s going to be clams again to finish 😦

Weirdest thing. I’m working on the True Fan for the Spooner Stage – all the tasks have been started. I go to where I have my Peter Palooza sign that I won in the first True Fan challenge and it’s gone! It was replaced by a Spooner Stage. It still shows I’m working on the Spooner Stage. Will this give me a 2nd Spooner Stage (actually would be a total of 3)? What happened to my Peter sign? At least I can listen to RA’s greatest hits while kicking’ back

Sent herbert to renew club penguin literally a minute before the quest popped and maybe I clicked something accidently because the time started without me knowing. It would be very easy to beat this challenge, had that not happened. But even though I want Mecha Astley, which looks to be the grand prize, it’s not worth spending money. I might have if I actually had any clams left though. Bummer, and next time I hope they don’t use a character that has an important and long task in a timed challenge. But I guess this is my fault. I was so happy with how everything was going though. Just need a cancel task button I guess.

oh well, my challenge timing luck just failed me! My mecha astley is resetting and has another 12 hours to go, so I won’t be able to do 12 hours of attacks on him within 24 hours. Good luck to the rest of you! *smile*

I just realized, if Peter doesn’t have to defeat him, just attack him, I can do the attacks, and it will still reset because because I won’t complete the 20 hearts! Yay! (as if I really need any more huge decos to take up space! LOL)

Yup just attacks. And… if you have two people or its about to time out… leave Peter battling him to save that 4 hour cool down loss.

Thanks Bunny! You’re a life saver in playing this game. As soon as I saw the exclamation point, of course I immediately exited out and came here to read your run down before clicking a thing. As a result, I was able to knock off the first attack right away and will complete this challenge, even with having to work tomorrow. Yay! 🙂

I’m in good shape cause I already had Herbert on a shorter task. mecha resets to level 1 in another hour. So this one will be very easy.

As this quest only appears for paying customers I bet more than a few were caught like me having Herbert out on his 24 hour task. I was already on my second encore. Quite unfortunate but I’ve had to spend 10-20 clams before to ensure winning the prize it’s not that big a deal I’ve paid more for less interesting decorations.

The moment I logged in and got the pop up for the true fan challenge I closed the app and opened your website lol I looked at the challenges with this task and said to myself, do not tap on that ! mark. I will tomorrow when I have all the characters ready. Ps. You guys are always on point. Don’t change 😆😆

Thought I was the only one who logs out of the game and run to this site every time I see an ! over someone’s head! Yeah, this one is on the easier side if one has the characters unlocked. I had Herbert on the Social Media task already for the other questline as well.

Just turn the Peterpalooza sign/Spooner stage to the side and it returns to looking like the sign.

If you can see the task… no. I’m not sure if it unlocks only after you get him… but a lot of New tasks showed up this Phase before I got him with his name. Think of all the GUDG ones that are around and he’s still not live.

Lol. Already had Carl on a 12 hour task and will be done in 2 hours. I just sent Herbert on his 10 hour task and Peter is already attacking Mecha Astley. Joe has 20 minutes left on his picnic basket task I should have no problems with this challenge.
