Phase 6 has now dropped into our games. Just what kinds of treasures has this final week of the PeterPalooza Event got to offer up? Well… let’s take a peek.
As usual, we will have the complete rundown once we all go through all the details Live in the game to verify all the ins n outs.

- Actually play the New Questline into a few parts to see all the New content. It all won’t unlock the second it is released. The Questline brings more.

No, it is an exclusive offer from Google Play Market. So iOS has nothing to do with it. You can use an Android device to pick them up if you do so before the event ends. You just have to log into your account and redeem it through the Event Menu Pop Up

Ugh! I’m still trying to unlock astley. The mecha astley reverted back to 8/10 when he should have been destroyed and for some reason the game is no longer dropping silver robots. Anyone else having the same problems? I’ve emailed TinyCo multiple times.

The Silver ones are Rare and only come round now and then. The rest, contacting them was best.

So, Never gonna catch me Pt. 6 will only show up if you have Belgard unlocked? I didn’t see it posted as showing up but I have it in my game and I have Belgard unlocked because he has a 2 hour task to catch GUDG for that part. Glad Weird Al is premium makes it easier to unlock him.

I found another minor bug. I’m still unlocking Astley needing 6 Jackets. When I go to assign the lineup the game states being able to get Jackets are High with the meter full even just selecting 1 character, but when I have Alice, Avril, and Peter performing Jackets are listed as Low. Which is it?

I’m at phase 6 now and when I use Rapper Brian and William Riker for the side show the level for candy is medium but now they are performing and the level is down to very low. I’m very confused.

I am much happier with the adjusted drops for the rock shows. It seems to be a guarantee you will get coats for Rick astley.

If you go into a friends town and click it, it says “Weird Al’s VIP Chair” so it seems like Weird Al was supposed to be freemium but they ended up changing their minds probably just because of timing.

Those are just “place holders”. Same as GUDG was in our Menu Character Section for the longest time, never said he would be part of an entire Event. 😉

I sent Joe to the rap concert and shortly afterwards the icon of him with an exclamation mark in the upper left. When I click on it, it doesn’t start any dialog, just makes me watch the rap concert. Is this typical or just a glitch in my game that I missed somewhere in your awesome explanations? Your site is always so helpful to completing the events! Thanks!

So I set Brian and Riker on the rap. While setting them the probability for candy went up as I added the 2nd item. Candy amd the horse and carriage showed as medium. Glowstkcks and lighters as low. Now when I check the time they are inversed. This is a big bug, and I would live to know which probability is correct, as candy is my main focus here. Any help for candy would be greatly appreciated! I am using Joe for the other GUDG items, then his tasks then baskets, so hoping candy is doable with brian and/or Riker. Thanks!

It varies. Plain and simple. Every player has a “chance” at getting them. What YOU get with a character may vary greatly from another. Just see what results you get and go for it.

What I’m saying is thst the probabilities they show on the input screen before you commit the players are different than while the show is going on when you are seeing how much time is left. The bars should read the same probabilites, right? Just asking which one is the correct reading, the first or second. I’m thinking it is the 2nd.

I know what you meant. I am saying that at times, those “images” may default to something else while the Character is performing. Regardless though…. your payouts will still vary no matter what those meters say. Better chances, possibly… but still a “chance”. We ran into the same for Star Trek Event.
Let me put it like this. I just on a whim used ONLY Riker on the Rap Show. And he got me everything I needed. Candy too. He never showed a high rating. 😉

This seems to be the same type of thing with the coats from the rock concert. Even with all four of the characters in the concert the probability of getting coats never went very high, but they did drop eventually. I did try mixing and matching characters to see if the chances went up but it doesn’t seem to matter. The best bet is putting as many of the playable characters in the concert and hope for the best. Even during the Star Trek event, when we had this sort of thing, a high probability was still not a guarantee. It just improves the chances.

I am normally so behind on these timed events, but I’m doing alright for this one. I doubt I’ll have everything unlocked by the time it’s over but at least I’m far enough along that I’ve started the unlock process, lol.
I’m picky about what I spend clams on otherwise it’d cost a fortune, but I can’t be without Weird Al! He’ll be helpful for the event and I don’t have his album so that’s a huge bonus for me. I think the idea to give an album with each singer was awesome, especially as sometimes these characters don’t serve much purpose later on (although it’s nice that some unrelated characters actually are helpful for this event, such as Hayley for the concerts).

I can’t help but feel annoyed about Weird Al turning out to be a premium character instead since he was the main character of interest. I made the mistake of letting things I read before get me to thinking that he’d be unlocked and since I kept falling behind in the game, despite playing often enough, I bought Tricia’s outfit to help catch up in preparation. Curses.
Now I just have to decide whether or not to give up on the rest.

Gotta give credit where it’s due. I just got into this a little while ago but I like a lot of the things I’ve seen already and am glad to be seeing it before finishing the previous main questline. That is definitely a big plus. Things for the new week started showing up in my game and about the same time I got the last coats I needed to unlock Rick after going zero for 8 tries. I did his concert and the stage went ahead and changed to this weeks concert. So then I was able to get all the buildings in the Merch kiosk put up, and did the first concert for this week real quick. I also like that Peter and Ricks hit points on Mecha went up. When Rick is done with his 8 hour task I’ll be able to have him help finally. I need more microphones before doing any more sideshows. I have not looked at the new stuff for GUDG much yet but I’m really not too worried about unlocking him. Nice to get to the last week and see a few positive things. Disappointed but knew that Stewie would be leaderboard prize. Nice that it’s two spots, maybe I’ll have a shot at this one but too early to tell. Ready to dive in and get this week done. Then I can go back to not getting those blue earrings for Loretta.

Thanks for the quick peek. I am nowhere near being able to get to Part 6 of the main questline, but it looks like there are no new characters to unlock so now I can breathe easier and just focus on Greased-Up Deaf Guy.
I am contemplating the purchase of Weird Al, but I can’t help but think that he looks a bit off without one of his typically loud shirts – I mean, with a plain red shirt he looks like he could be Jerry Seinfeld with a bad haircut. Although, his assistance in getting G.U.D.G. may be the deciding factor on this one (bogus shirt or otherwise)…
From a tactical standpoint, I will be skipping this Astley fellow (and the remaining questlines) and putting everything I have towards G.U.D.G. – then maybe I will be able to unlock him with a minimum amount of Clam damage (Clamage?). Besides, I thought that TinyCo’s creative department was asleep at the wheel on Phase 5 (buildings called “line of lyrics from the only song this guy is known for” whatever, and ripping off South Park with the whole Mecha-Astley thing). Nothing I can’t live without…

First thoughts:
1) Kinda’ wish I saved some baskets up instead of grinding for the 35 records I need for richardo. I have them now, but rather have tickets to start earning the wrenches and grease (and vip passes to a lesser extent)
2) Bought wierd al, wasn’t even a question for me, didn’t look at what he does for the events, just insta-buy. Happy he can do 3dmg on the boss, wondering if his candy task gives you 1 or 4 like the concert event. At 1 for a 12hr event I probably won’t even bother and will stick him on the boss for mics and glowsticks and just do concerts… hoping he drops 4 per run.
3) With al, and trisha, can do 9dmg per run on the boss, so he should be no prob to take down, happy I had him at rank5 for the start.
4) The buildings are going to set me back ~ 4000 glowsticks, so richardo is on hold, want to get the wrench and vat down asap since they are always drops and I’m only at 24 of th 70 vats I need.
5) leaderboard stuff for me is mostly on people I need for other stuff atm, seems like it will be a luxary thing once you get gudf unlocked and have more room to waste people on it.

If you have all the Premiums… Glowstick Build up can happen fast at 5X take downs on him. 2000 Glowsticks each time.

Trying to decide if I should focus on getting items or completing the missions. Will the missions related to Peterpalooza all disappear when the event ends? What tasks are the most time sensitive?

Main Questlines will all go. The Phase 6 one is really short. All the side ones linked from unlocking the Character… per TinyCo… will continue AFTER the Event is over. So you really don’t have to worry about them til later. 😉

In preparation for Halloween, an event i’m sure to enjoy, I purchased Al and more clams. Still have some disappointment from this event, but at least they’re kinda getting better about listening to people even if the choices they make don’t make sense to me. Anyone know why Riker is a Rap artist?

Because Riker is full of himself and thinks he can do everything. That’s why I keep his lips busy playing a trombone on street corners for a living. Trying to pound a little humility into him, but it’s an uphill battle. 🙂

Rick will pay off big time when he joins Peter in taking down the Mecha. Both now inflict 2 hearts damage every four hours. Even the 5x level is possible with the two of them. 5x pays out 2000 glowsticks per takedown (that would be 20 hours plus 4 hours cooldown, so once a day you’ll get a big boost in glowsticks and also be swimming in microphones to get some more from shows).

I have never been behind like this before. I just finally got Rick Astley and he depleted my glowsticks completely. Not to mention I still don’t have the hostel 😔 These glowsticks are gonna be the death of me!

I’m still in phase 5, haven’t unlocked Rick. But the leaderboard and new stuff in the store and kiosk have arrived, plus new drops and new stuff to be collected for greasy running guy.
Does Peter now do 2 hearts damage to Mecha? When he finished level 2x just now, I hit the attack button in the Mecha’s window since it was there (being an experimentalist), even though was expecting cooldown (Peter didn’t have the attack task listed, though). Mecha went into cooldown soon after but before it did – it opened up the choose attacker window and it looked as though Peter and Rick both now did 2 hearts damage (the window also showed Weird Al as a new option). Won’t know for sure if this is real for a few hours. But if it is, then Peter will be able to try to get level 3x all by himself if needed and if joined by Rick – it will take only 10 hours instead of 20.
Also when I started the rock side show just now, I briefly saw the chance of trench coats was very high. Alas, it quickly came back down to low, but the chances for the other stuff remained high (higher than before Phase 6 started). It does seem the chance of trench coats isn’t as low as it used to be.

Several times I got 6 viral hits from stomping 1 gold robot. Is that the amount thats supposed to drop? If so, I’m at 12 viral hits and everyone below me only have 1 each. Thanks!

Finally, a great drop from the Gold Robot – 6 Viral Hits dropped !!!
Also, these only drop from the Gold Robots ( not the more expensive Silver Robot), so this is even better since they take only 1 wrench.

I may have missed it, but it appears to me that no freemium character has been added to attack Mecha Astley. It this is the case, the highest level a freemium player can achieve is level 3, if they have Astley unlocked (and don’t need to sleep).
I realize the next phase has just hit, but it looks like a lot of the final objects are not attainable unless you spend a boatload of clams. I hope I’m wrong.

With both Peter and Rick on the job, getting level 5x and maintaining it will be possible for freemium players. 20 hearts to deplete, 4 hearts damage every four hours from the two guys, 20 hours total in a 24 hour period. Have to plan around sleeping and set alarms every 4 hours. But Bunny says 5x gives out 2000 glowsticks, so greed is my motivation.
What’s great about this last week is that stuff started even while still in phase 5, I think. The changes in task payouts and the option to buy payout buildings and the new damaged for Mecha, for instance. At least I think I’m still in Phase 5… I still have to check off the take down the Mecha task in part 6 of the phase 5 main questline.
Once I did Rick’s concert, without yet having done his Part 5 helping 8 hour task, the encore stage was labeled Final Performance with the requirements to buy the three buildings, which made me wonder if I was somehow slipped into Phase 6 early. Will see what happens when Mecha is defeated, then should see a new main questline and be officially phase 6.

I’m lovin Phase 6 so far! I’m already working on the second of the two Mecha take downs you need for the Encore concert–actually, I’m still in the cool down period. I like how the gold robots give you a tub of grease or 6 viral hits! I wonder if that 4th chair is just for show or if we’ll get a surprise artist? Hmmm… 😎

I’m in such a predicament, I’d rather focus getting the grease guy but most of the characters that require to get him can also get the TV and since I’m so ahead on the leader board I don’t want to stop but I don’t really care much for another stewie costume especially a lame looking one. ****…I guess I shouldn’t be complaining cuz a lot of people would love to be in my predicament.

It looks like they may have modified the hits needed for Mecha Astley – I was expecting to have to fight him one last time around 8:30 for level three but after starting the new content it lowered him to zero when I cleared Peter and Rick.

Wow! I figure since we can’talk get the grease guy till this week anyway I held out on stoming the gold robots cuz really…it doesn’t matter when I do them since the gold robot spawn seems unlimited. Well I’ve been saving the wrenches and have the mechanics waited and bam! Got myself 18 tv already!

I can say I’m officially done with this game. I understand paying for the celeb characters but to make it a pain to get the Greased up deaf guy is just bs. Been playing since day 1.

Sorry you feel that way. I actually think he shouldn’t be too bad. Lots of options to get his items. Lots of Characters being used. But if you are not having fun anymore, that is your choice to step away. We actually recommend it. 🙂

I have completed all quests but phase 6 hasn’t started in my game. Do I need a character free to start it as I only have Peter free. I have no new tasks & no new items to buy. Do I have a glitch?
