There you have it. Some Side Questlines for the Two New Characters that were brought to us during Phase 5. Remember that TinyCo said all the Questlines that trigger AFTER the Character is unlocked (their Main Questline) will stick around AFTER the Event to complete.

Iv finished a skinny philipino boy but the quest hairless in quahog I have not cleared 2 silver robots, because I was competing on the leaderboard and six mechanics I couldn’t spare. I know you said all character quest lines stay, but mechanics and robots will go. So is it worth it to clear the last two silver robots? or is it pointless seeing how there isn’t much rewards?! Is the only repercussion that the quest stays on my notebook tab forever? because Iv still had one forever from the fat father that I was unable to finish! 😂

That one is NOT a side questline linked to a Character unlocking. That is just a generic side Questline. Only those linked and triggered by the Character unlocking stay… like A Skinny Filipino Boy. The rest will all go.
Side note: If you have a “stuck” task… you can always contact TinyCo about it. Many times they will remove it for you. 😉

I only need 200 glowsticks to get Ricardo, although TinyCo still want 600 clams if I want to save time and get him now.

Craftables are a tricky location. They don’t count down like Al’s or Bubbles on the play screen when it comes to Clams… however if you are looking for a Clam Buy Out… there is still a way. Use Clams to speed tasks or other items to get those Glowsticks or any other Material you need. Like Mecha Astley Battles. The lower Defeats pay up to 100 Glowsticks. The Higher even more. Sideshows have a great source of them too. Just not as much.

I’ve only not long started Rick Astley and Grased Up Deaf Guy, because it took so *** long to get those ticket stubs for DJ Herbert -_- No way I’m getting both of those characters without spending clams 😦 What I’m confused about is the fourth VIP chair, who is the fourth VIP chair meant to be for. 1st was Avril Lavigne, 2nd Alice Cooper, 3rd Rick Astley, but who was supposed to come with the fourth one?

It was just a Place holder for Weird Al. Similar to in your Characters tab right now, there are place holders for Characters. GUDG was actually there before this Event. Just a way they link a Character to the game until it’s release is actually made.

Once again, thank you for all the killer work you do for this site. I have 2 questions for you. 1) once the event is done, will I still be able to unlock Belgrad if I already have the Hostel? I have put off buying the hostel until now, but was thinking of getting it except I am not sure I’ll be able to unlock him before the conclusion of the event. 2) Will all the event related quests like Hottest Rapper, Going Viral, etc. disappear after the evnt? Thank you again for everything!

They have said that all Characters go on the 17th. No indication of anything further than that.
As for questlines… the ones that trigger with unlocking the Character are slated to continue after the Event.

Thank you for your reply. That makes sense then that he’ll probably disappear if not unlocked. Hmmm, just need to figure out if it’s doable to unlock him on top of everything else on my list, hahaha. Decisions, decisions!

Bunny, do u think I should get ricardo now and spend all of my glowsticks or just wait towards the end? I mean the only good thing about getting Ricardo now is him getting the hearing aid but im done getting those a long time ago. I should wait huh?

Thanks a bunch, also I don’t know if u notice but a little after they fix the hayley glitch (which was a bummer) the cast of American Dad dissappeared from the facebook. I can’t find them. The other is that I notice after the cool down with mechanical ashley the 24hrs timer starts after I “sign in” on the game (maybe it’s only me). Hear me out, I always have a timer on my phone for 4 hrs to remind me even the cool down part. Sometimes I would miss the 4hr cool down because it was when I was sleeping and didn’t want to wake up. Now my timer still count down but this time it’s in the negative which means I was a few hrs over the 4hr mark and sometimes more. Then I would sign into the game and the game starts at 24hr mark when it should be a lot less. I notice this 3 times so far in “my game” which I think is so awesome cuz it helps me get a lot of sleep. If this isn’t a glitch then I think tinyCo is awesome for thinking that but if it is then they should think about that. I mean it doesn’t hurt any people’s progress and people don’t have to miss sleep. People who doesn’t sign in early will have to start their 24hr late then others who did but they still give them a decent 24hr battle time. We’ll thx for listening

Thanks for the info, I’ll give hairless in Quahog pt 2 a miss, 9 wrenches for 12 glow sticks and 20 XP!? I’ll save them for shots at viral hits!! Glad I checked here first, thanks again.

I noticed I have collected the necessary amount of short shorts for Ricardo but they are continuing to drop. Does that mean there will likely be other uses for them so close to the end of the event?

Nope. He’s in a Craftables area. Unfortunately those areas keep dropping materials until all the items possible are live in your game. So the shorts will keep dropping until you have Ricardo walking around your Quahog.

Any idea why my son wouldn’t have the Rickrolling Through Quahog quest line? He has Rick Astley unlocked. I know pt. 2 requires Brian, which he is still trying to unlock. Maybe that is it? He doesn’t see the Weirder Palooza quest line either.

If a character is needed and not in the game… then yes… it can halt that progress.

Hey Bunny. I have a question for you. I’m asking as this is my first full event. I started playing a week into the mobster event. So I’m wondering based on your past experiences, if you buy every single thing that has been offered through the festival kiosk do you get anything special or just a whole bunch of decos that’ll end up in inventory? I’m curious as I have every single person, skin and deco so far. I made sure I bought the necessary ones first and then bought everything else when I had enough glow sticks, picks, tickets etc. Was it worth it or just a sense of satisfaction?!

I usually wait til the very last day of the event to buy “extras”. Items not needed for any questline requirements to move through Event. Also… in case there’s an Event Currency Box with goodies in it. Which usually there is last day. Rarely have we had a “get all to get a prize” offer. Once… it think. But other than that… it’s what you want to add.

So when I was collecting for Ricardo it said above him that he helps with greased up deaf guy. I’m wondering how as he has no tasks that drop items. Any info on this? Thanks

I just have all the items for Richardo excluding the Glow Sticks by tomorrow. After the Astley and Final concert I only need 2 more Records, which I can get with Rangers. I’m at just over 5,000 Glow Sticks, but that Holistic building costs 2,000 and drops Wrenches is something I also want. Decisions. Decisions.

No one that we know of. It was a place holder for Weird Al and he is in the game. So probably no more.
Just keep trying is all I can suggest. Keep sending people on Sideshows to get his items.
