WOOHOO! Final Week!. This Phase 6 seems pretty basic. More of a “complete it all” kind of thing. Nothing new really added as far as needing to reach for, so just focus on completing what you already have.
With the last week of items, came another Premium Character and his Questlines. That Character was Weird Al.
Let’s take a look at Polka Face & You Can Call Me Al and all you will encounter along the way.

There you have it. The Premium Questline for the Premium Character, Weird Al. Guy not only dropped his Hawaiian Shirts, but his last name too. Lol

It is a Google Play exclusive, so you need a google account. If you have a Gmail, you can set one up… borrow an Android Device… and load it onto your Google Account before the event ends.

Am I the only confused by the fact that there are 4 chairs where the celebrities were unlocked, yet only 3 have been used (Avril, Alice, and Rick)? Anyone think they may extend the event a week and have an extra character showing up?

I suppose that explains why Weird Al features so heavily in the dialogue for this week’s main questline. I guess they figured we had enough on our plates trying to unlock the Greased up deaf guy without adding another character to collect doodads for as well.

I agree. I am glad another “collectible” was not added. Players already have that with GUDG and any others they are still working on.

Hey bunny, do you know if greased up deaf guy will be gone at the end of Peter palooza? I’m nowhere near to having everything to unlock him.

Not this one, the other one— be a “SUPER star”. I searched for it and it ends at part 3— back in week 4 stuff i think. I’m at level 4 and wanted to know what else was next too.

??? All there is on the “Bonus” ones is A Rising Star and Becoming A Star. Both I completed like a day after they launched as I had to wait on spawns.
There are no other questlines. I have done them all to completion. So not sure which one you are asking about.

Ok thakns for the info, i did search but did not locate this earlier, i see the GUDG issue was addressed, gotta hope they have a solution to performing an encore, cause i still have that from week one and see that is a duplicated requirement for this one. assuming final concert may count if i can get tix from the reappearing GUDG!

Nope. You probably saw the Peter “hiccup” that hits the game now and then. Usually Peter with a ! just flashes quickly across the screen then goes away. Happens all the time. Lol. I will put up a post when I see it go live. 😉

You never know with them. At times they use items for just “Place Holders”. So I just wait and see how they actually release live in the game.

Of course I got Word Al! 28 years old, so I grew up on Running With Scissors… His in hand actions are good, and I LOVE that he attacks with his accordion! Little side-note: I wish we got a heads up for the True Fan Challenge! I’m so ready to include Mecha-Astley as a permanent presence in my Quahaug!

What’s up with the rap shows? I put Brian and joe on, the bar is full on my chance for candy, then I start the rap show and he bar is empty. I have tried multiple rap shows and haven’t dropped candy twice. I need 4 successful drops and something seems broken.

Don’t worry about the “visual” once they start. It is still a “Chance” drop for any of those items regardless. For me, I used Riker and got the Candies with him solo. Not everytime as I got other items too. But he got them all for me.

I chose to get him as its Weird Al! No clams too small for him.
Not sure if you have noticed but you can’t level weird al to level 6 as it causes an error “Content empty for id weirdAllvl6 in CharacterMoment”.

I decided to purchase Weird Al because of the dent he could put in the materials for Greased-Up Deaf Guy (with Candy, and in attacking Mecha-Streisand for the Gold Robots/Grease Tubs). Doing the math, it looked like I would have needed to drop around 200-250 Clams to finish GUDG without him – so I figured that I may as well get him.
He has been my only premium purchase since the Star Trek event – and it seems I played it right because I am seeing a lot of folks groan about Snoop Dogg and Deadmuas becoming utterly useless before the event is even finished. Of course, the same fate ultimately awaits Weird Al once the event is over, but what are you gonna do?
In the short term, he is proving to be worth the purchase. In the long term, he will probably rot in my inventory once I level him up – along with the other 40 or so premium characters that are never used post-event…
And I must be getting old, because still can’t wrap my head around the whole normal-looking thing. You see a guy parade around in wacky shirts for decades, you kinda get used to it. Not quite “signs-of-the-apocalypse” disturbing, but unsettling nonetheless…

I am hoping to just barely get 250 clams in time to get Weird Al. I’m cheapskate freemium. I’ve earned 234 clams so far, will have 239 when I finish the 5-clam questline Becoming A Superstar (am working on Part 6 now, have all the wrenches for squashing 12 robot bugs in the next part, and am taking down the Mecha at x5 level with Peter and Rick every 24 hours, a new takedown starts in a few hours). I might get a couple of clams from Ollieland, but am hoping clam TV comes through with the remaining clams to bring me up to the magic 250 to get Weird Al before the event ends. Hopefully by Thursday, Weird Al will be walking around my Quahog. If not, at least I just was able to get Ricardo thanks to the Mecha’s generosity with glow sticks and splendid cooperation of those golden bears…. He does have a task for greasy guy’s hearing aids, but the pop concerts will probably provide enough of those.
I’m not trying for the greasy guy, but might come close just accidentally. With the slowdown in drops of viral hits from the robot bugs, not likely to get anything from the leaderboard since I have other things for people to do besides work for them. I do let Snoop Dogg jump his car up and down 24/7 for a chance at them, though.
I’m hoping to have enough glowsticks by the end to be able to buy a bus and the food truck. I still have 6730 left after getting Ricardo, so it will depend on what else might show up in the store. What really helped in this phase was that we could start on a lot of stuff before unlocking Rick from phase 5. I started Peter on attacking the Mecha and then just added Rick when he was unlocked.

One other thing: I’m ignoring the main questline, don’t want to tie people up with it. No need to finish it in the final phase anyway.
