WOOHOO! Final Week!. This Phase 6 seems pretty basic. More of a “complete it all” kind of thing. Nothing new really added as far as needing to reach for, so just focus on completing what you already have.
Phase 6 brought the completion to a Questline we have been working on throughout a few Phases now as well as a New Questline for Greased Up Deaf Guy. Never Gonna Catch Me, Extra Greasy, & One Loud Deaf Guy.

There you have it. The End to Never Gonna Catch me and two additional Side Questlines involving Greased Up Deaf Guy. Remember the Side Questline triggered by unlocking him will go AFTER the Event is over per TinyCo. So no need to tackle it now.

I got stuck at never gonna catch me part 9 (grease fountain or pit). Don’t recall getting any more people or stages to unlock. Tried to play this event without your site. Now 2 days left and looks like I’ve missed half of the content (no GUDG, no boss battle).
Last thing I unlocked was alice cooper. But won clams (or should) in 2 leader boards and got meg and peter and stewie and Herbert. Don’t even know what I didn’t get so don’t really care. Was more experiment to see if I could play without this site – just follow quests and pop-ups.

Don’t understand why games are so complex you have to do external research to play.

Well unlocked GUDG about an hour ago just need to do the challenge when it hits and remain number 2 in the leaderboards so I can get the Stewie outfit and I will be done with this event.

I’m having a problem with the Candy for GUDG from the Rap Show. It shows that I have a High chance to get Candy before I start with all 4 performers, and then when I start it that Chance on the performance menu becomes Low, almost non-existent. Is this an error from me putting in all 4 characters or anything that anyone else is experiencing?

Do not pay attention to the “visual” once the Concert starts. That is all it is… a Visual thing. You are still going to get a “Chance” at the item. The more Characters the higher the rating, but I actually got them with just Riker. Others state with just Joe Lion.

Unfortunately Riker and Brian didn’t get me any candy, and the gauge only went to medium. When I added Joe it jumped to high, so I’ll find out in 6+ hours from now. (Of course the visual says low.)
Status check on GUDG:
Yesterday morning
I had
34/70 tubs of grease,
3/16 candy,
20/30 VIP pass,
6/20 greasy underwear.
This morning,
I have
47/70 tubs of grease,
4/16 candy,
(30/30 VIP pass,)
11/20 greasy underwear.
If I can increase my tubs by 13 today then I’ll have 60 tomorrow and hopefully I’ll be able to get the final 10 after that.
5 more underwear will mean 16/20 so hopefully getting 4 more will be doable in a day.
And as I said above if I get a candy drop with the side show, then hopefully I’ll be able to do 2 additional shows after that and be sitting pretty.
Mathematically, it’s still feels TIGHT! (that’s what she said)

So I’m hoping they come out with the 3rd challenge today. I just want to get this over with. I’m so tired of waiting for it and having to put evert hung on hold so I can prepare for it is annoying.

Finally! I just unlocked Greased-up Deaf Guy’ I got really lucky with the drops on the Greasy Underwear towards the end. 🙂

I guess I can consider myself lucky then, because he was running around well after I placed his vat(yay me!) .. maybe a glitch they caught and fixed (boo TC!)

Gudg is not a concern because I need 1 of everything to get him. Need 1 lp foot jasper friend (forgot his name). Question is when is true fan challenge 3 gonna come out?

Mondays are usually their drop day… last week was a holiday so they did it on a Tuesday. So I expect something later this evening.

Gonna be sad if GUDG can only be obtained from this event. I forked over the clams for Al (what can I say, I’m a huge fan) and he’s the only one I have who can do a pop show, But i have him battling Mecha Astley. So likely no hearing aids before the event ends.

I’m confused. So you get GUDG after part 9 even if you haven’t gathered all the “stuff” for him?

Nope. Part of the questline completion is when you unlock him and do his task on Part 10. Very similar to every single other questline this event. Usually the last part involves you completing the unlock of the Character. That was my point. ALL the questlines revolve around the Characters you are earning during the Event, District, etc. So your “reward” is when you finally get that Character into your game. 🙂

I’m confused.. I am having trouble with the underwear, and I noticed in your main post for this phase that dance sideshows earn underwear, but there was no option for me to earn them. I thought it was a typo, but now you have posted it again, so do I have an issue with my game? I have reported issues with this phase already, stemming from Friday (to TinyCo), yet there is no response.

The info was pulled from my main Phase 6 post. It was the stats they sent to me for him. I already messaged them too to see if it was an error as I never saw them in there either. Still waiting for clarification.

I still need like 1/3 of all his stuff to finish GUDG. I’m wondering when that 3rd “true fan” challenge will hit? Today maybe? Tomorrow? I truly hope it doesn’t interfere with my collecting things!

Should have GUDG unlocked sometime Tuesday and will be done with this event. I really can’t wait to see what they have planned for the Halloween event this year, I really enjoyed last year’s Halloween event.

With 3 days and 9 hours left, it’s going to be close. Thankfully Meg and New Brian dropped the 12 hearing aids with just two side shows.
I feel like I’m putting all my energy/attention towards unlocking the Greased Up Deaf Guy and the leaderboard prize is secondary as nothing is guaranteed and all the tasks to get one item are 12 hours.

You can get the candy very easily with rap shows. It drops 4 at a time, and pretty much a gauranteed drop if you have Riker and can set him and Joe to do the rap shows.

After the event is over, will I lose greased up deaf guy if I haven’t unlocked him? I have so many things still to collect.

Yes. Any Character not fully live in your game by the 17th goes with the Event when it closes on the 17th

I’ll tell you how my attempts to catch the greased up deaf guy are going…. Terrible.
I bought the $4.99 clam offer to get everything I needed to open Carl and DJ Herbert. Carl won’t open. In the kiosk, he has a check mark and is greyed out as though I have him, but he is nowhere to be found. The “unlock carl” task is still in my taskbar, but when I tap it, nothing happens. And the game took all of the stuff needed to make him.
The “build the grease fountain” task behaves the same way. I tap on “go”, it dissapears. Nothing happens.
And, despite the fact that I was told that I would get ” everything I need to unlock Carl and DJ herbert “, I didn’t get any lighters, so i still don’t have herbert, either.
So, as much as I wanted G-UDG, it looks like I’m not going to get him in time. Very depressing.
And yes, I have emailed tinyco about all of this. Twice. They remain silent…..

Carl, I have posted this many times… he is in your Inventory Storage with the other items that automatically drop there when earned.
Check the Event Tab (music notes), the ALL Tab, and even the Character tab
If you have been looking for Carl, than that means you are behind on the Phases. As the Grease Fountain is a part of Phase 6 (Page 6 in the Kiosk), then that would explain why you can’t get to it by tapping on “Go”. You need page 6 items to get it.

How many candy does the Weird AL 12 hour task give? Iv been looking everywhere? Is it just 1x each time? I guess that is probably the answer, or you’d have stated otherwise. I’m adding up the event hours left and I’m worried it just won’t be possible for me to get it all, and Iv spent way too much on clams! I’m just hoping to make it through the end without the temptation to buy any more! 😅

All tasks, Buildings, Characters have only ever dropped one unless otherwise noted. 😉

Don’t try to get the candy from Al, that takes too long to just get one. Do rap shows. If you have Riker from the Star Trek event, him and Joe are pretty much a guaranteed candy drop from doing a show together. And you get 4 candies at a time, so you can knock it out in 4×8 = 32 hours.
