Where The Hell…? New Brian

UPDATE 1PM EDT: So… those of you getting Mr. Weed from the Portal… WOOHOO!! Basically this was NOT supposed to happen. You got a lil “bonus” from the Portal, so enjoy. Someone on the other side likes you. For everyone else… sit tight… apparently he is supposed to be returning… at some time… just not now. 😉

In this lil game of ours, it is easy to get lost and so focused into collecting items or unlocking characters that we tend to forget the lil things that make the game what it is. Like Where the HELL did these items come from and why are they in our games?

Well I am here to do just that for you. Let’s take a look at the Family Guy Series and find out just Where The HELL Did That Come From?

In this post, I will be covering the Origin of the Ghost New Brian. What is with very friendly Dog? Why does Brian hate him so much? How did he die? Let’s take a look at the TV Episodes to find out.

Season 7, Episode 5: The Man With Two Brians
The Guys have decided to try to replicate some idiot ideas from a TV Show. Peter takes quite a tumble and is not so much a Great American Hero as he lands in the Lake. His arm is broke and he starts to drown. Brian swims out to try and save him but ends up snapping his own back and they both go under. Joe now swims out and ties his legs around them to drag them back to shore.

Back home Lois is not happy with what just happened and begins to yell at Peter for what he did to Brian. The poor dog is 8 yrs old. He is OLD. No wonder he couldn’t save him. She just keeps going on about his age and how run down he is. Peter starts to get a bit depressed that Brian is getting up there and may not be around much longer.

The next morning, Peter finds a solution to the issue… NEW BRIAN. Brian is pretty hurt by all of this. He can’t believe they got a new dog. What about Brian.

New Brian is sure impressing the family. Like playing a soft waking melody on the flute to wake Peter and Lois in the morning.

He offers himself as a Personal Journal to Meg so she can get some of her life frustrations out by talking to him. He ends with tossing her some deodorant and promising to make her a little less gross each day. He even impressed Peter later on at the Kitchen Table with a little song he wrote.

New Brian:
I don’t like fancy learnin’ books…
I don’t like apple tarts…
I don’t like cozy breakfast nooks…
I don’t like modern art…

Well I like farts!
Yes, I like farts!
I like long farts, short farts, wet farts, your farts…
I like farts!

If you got heart…
Peter: Oh, I’ve got heart.
New Brian: Lets hear those farts.
Peter: How do I start?
New Brian: Well Peter I will help you get your fartin’ started…

And then the two of them start to make fart noses with their mouths and tongues (raspberries). Then giggle.

New Brian even tries to get on Brian’s good side. While out walking, he picked up a cool stick and brought it back to Brian. Not to mention a bag of “Mary Jane”. Brian is really happy to have New Brian around… that is until Stewie comes and rubs it in his face just why New Brian is there. To replace Brian.

Brian is now depressed and wants to remind the family of just how much they love Brian, with a home movie of him from the time he was a puppy. He hears the family say, “Awwwwwww” and assumes it is for the Video… but it is not. They are actually remarking at how cute and sweet New Brian falling asleep is.

Outside, Stewie rubs it in Brian’s face again. He is doomed. Peter then comes out with a gun, asking Brian to go for a walk, deep in the woods, where no one will find them… as Stewie keeps pointing out what is going to happen.

That was the last straw and Brian announces to the family that he is leaving as he comes into the front room with his bags packed. Lois and Peter are sad about the news. This is his home. Lois gives him a hug telling  him they will miss him. As he walks out the door, he hears the family may not be so sad as New Brian immediately amuses them… with the videos that Brian used to show them.

Lois is still sad at the Breakfast table that Brian isn’t there. She wonders where he is and if he is doing OK. Chris points out he is just over at Cleveland’s House. Meanwhile Stewie is trying to start up a routine with New Brian. Telling him his pie just isn’t complete without some Cool Hawhip. New Brian doesn’t care. Sounds right to him. What a buzz kill to Stewie it is. The family even includes New Brian in Karaoke night. Stewie has had enough.

Now over at Quagmire’s, Brian is trying to not get in the way. Stewie knocks on the door begging Brian to come back home. New Brian is just too much a tool. Too sweet and happy and kind and getting on Stewie’s nerves. He even offers some Cool Hawhip. Which annoys Brian and makes Stewie happy. Stuff like that is why Brian HAS to come back home. Brian refuses. As long as New Brian is a part of the family, Brian won’t be.

Back home Stewie is now determined to make New Brian go away. He tells him he is not wanted around there. No one likes him. New Brian doesn’t agree. New Brian even gloats that he humped Rupert for two days straight…

Next thing you know Stewie is dragging a trash bag to the garbage cans outside. Of course he also leaves a suicide note about how he killed himself, cut himself up, and tosses himself in the garbage. Sounds legit. Out with New Brian, back in with Old Brian.

There you have it, a pet meant to take Brian’s place ends up on the other side thanks to Stewie and is now a ghost in our games.
