In this lil game of ours, it is easy to get lost and so focused into collecting items or unlocking characters that we tend to forget the lil things that make the game what it is. Like Where the HELL did these items come from and why are they in our games?
Well I am here to do just that for you. Let’s take a look at the Family Guy Series and find out just Where The HELL Did That Come From?
In this post, I will be covering the Origin of the Ghost Paddy Tanniger. What is with this lil guy? Why does he always want to fight about it? How did he die? Let’s take a look at the TV Episodes to find out.
Season 2, Episode 21: Fore Father
This is where we first meet Paddy. After a rough camp out with Chris, Peter brought the Guys to the Golf Range to show them how he has turned his slacker son Chris into a working man. Paddy Tanniger the Caddy Manager introduces himself to the Guys. He wants to tell Peter how much he loves Chris. He is their best ball shagger they ever had. He is selling a ton of buckets of balls due to everyone wants to try and hit the Fat Kid. Side Note: Cleveland Jr. is not only extremely small in this episode, but can golf like Tiger Woods.
Paddy can also be seen in Season 4, Episode 12: The Perfect Castaway
Season 5, Episode 3: Hell Comes to Quahog
In order to understand why he is a Ghost though, we have to jump to this episode.
Peter is at the Car Lot looking for a car for Meg… that is until he spots a real beauty. A big freaking Tank. It is actually just their for his commercials when he declares war on prices. But Peter isn’t having it. Peter wants the Tank… and of course Peter gets the Tank. After him and Meg run over Joe while Peter is teaching her how to drive it, it is impounded.
Along the way a Superstore USA ends up being built in Quahog. Him and Brian decide to go down there to protest. But while Peter tries to go in there and drag them out, he goes inside and falls in love… then ends up working for Superstore USA. Brian and Stewie are not having it. They end up stealing the Tank and head over to demolish the Store. After they tear apart the place, they make their way back outside. Paddy Tanniger is in the parking lot. “So you got a Tank… big whoop… wanna fight about it?” And those are his last words as Stewie and Peter run him over… twice. Thus ends Paddy Tanniger and Paddy the Ghost is created.
There you have it, Chris’ old employer at the Golf Course mixed with Peter’s choice in vehicles and another Ghost is added to our games. Did you remember these episodes? I was checking out the Lazarus portal today and noticed that it now offers Mr. Weed (whom I do not have). Do you know of any future plans FGTQFS has for him? I’d really like to get him but I don’t want to have to spend the clams just to resurrect him. I’ve already unlocked the other three. Thanks!
