Hey there Move Goers!
Bouncing by really quick to let you know of some issues that I still see popping up in the comments section from Players that Tinyco are aware of and/or are still working on that hit the game with the Event.
Many of these issues were already covered in the Main Rundown post HERE, but I wanted to isolate them and add some info.
CAN’T TAP ON THE MOVIE SCREEN
Hopefully most of you looked at the Main Post and already figured out how to bypass this… but just in case.
If you are in the Questline just starting the Event and are unable to tap on the Movie Screen to move forward, shut down your game. Force Close it specifically and make sure the app is completely closed. Restart your device even. Then once you go back into the game, the Skeleton Head icon should show up over the Movie Screen and you should be able to tap it and move on.
GetPlayArea GLITCH
This one seems to come back now and then. I am unsure of the cause of it this time. I do know however it is priority with TinyCo and they have been working on correcting it and getting Players back in since it hit.
So if you are having this issue, please Contact TinyCo to report it.
UPDATE 10/5: A patch to correct this was pushed. Make sure you try to Force Close and Restart your device to ensure it is running on most current information. If you STILL have the issue, Contact TinyCo. They are watching for any Players with the issue still.
MURDER POINT CAN’T BE PLACED
This issue should be resolved now, but if it is not for YOU … please report it immediately from your game to TinyCo.
DEATH’S MOM’S HOUSE CAN’T BE PLACED
This one may be a carryover from the issue with Murder Point. Either way, it is a known issue and they are working on it. Essentially, do NOT store Death’s Mom’s House at all. Keep it on the Game Play Area. Those that placed it right away were able to avoid this.
For those of you that could not place it, or now have it stuck in Inventory Storage, hang in there. Report it from your game and let them complete the patch on it.
Side Note: This may or may not work, but worth a try… go directly to your Menu Icon on your game screen and tap it, then select your Inventory, go to the ALL or Building tab and try to pull it out from there.
UPDATE 10/6:
FYI: Temp Fix via TinyCo for Death’s Mom’s House…
We’ve added a button next to the Event Hub that will take players to Death via the Main Menu’s inventory. This button will only appear for players who have purchased Death but have not placed him in their towns yet.We will have a fix for this bug in the next update, but we’ve implemented this button as a workaround in the meantime
POPCORN TOTALS NOT ADDING
I have been seeing reports of Players stating only 5 Popcorn added during a 10 PopCorn Payout. First make sure the game synced up the totals. Try to go to FaceSpace, Neighbors, or even go completely out then back into the game and see if the Totals balance out. If not, report it.
This is isolated and Player by Player case. ANYTIME you seem to be not getting all your items or missing any… report it right away to TinyCo from your game.
If you have ANY issues in your game and a simple search on our site does not already provide you the answer, let us know about it. Also, make sure you report issues that impact just your game to TinyCo.

My garlic launcher will not shoot and it freezes up so I can not exit out of launcher mode. I am totally stuck on the game I reported it 2 days ago to tiny co. And have not heard anything back yet can bunny or anyone help me out? TIA

Do you know of any other way to place deaths moms house besides the main menu?? It went straight to inventory like a week ago and I can’t get it out still. I sent a message to tinyco and haven’t heard anything and it put me way behind!!

So this isn’t that much of an issue but more of a bug I guess, but I logged in and for some reason it says I’m level 4 now and I completed the mission for getting to four and got the new mission but I’m still only level 3. Not a bug but I though I would share.

Hi peeps!! Anyone else having an issue getting a Scythe? I have been sending Lois on that task for 2 solid days, an have had NO luck. Not one. Is it me or is this a really difficult article to get? I didn’t want to report an issue if its just commonly uncommon. 😛

not a complaint, but something i hope doesnt booger up my game later…so i made all the available holy waters i could, been waiting for peter chris quag and bonnie to finish so i can make more, just went in to look in the shed as it showed the bar not the exclamation point after i came back to my game, and it now is showing 2 to be made in my que. i havent collected any to make, still have 40 minutes to wait.

and i had also used up my holy waters, this was about an hour ago as i have it timed where after i uses em i have one hour to wait to collect to make more (only have the original i am aware of capable to drop them doing quests to obtain them)

going thru inventory worked for me in placing deaths mom, and i am not trying to insult anyones intelligence, but make sure you are going thru the main menu button, then inventory. i only say this cuz someone i play with was trying to go thru the button you click to move stuff and ten going to inventory, and that doesnt work. so again, not to insult anyones intelligence, just something i witnessed first hand, lol, that gave us both a giggle .

for those of u struggling with deaths moms house, i could not get it out of inventory by any method…must have tried 1000 times! just messing around i tried DOUBLE CLICKING IT instead of dragging up…and voila! it worked!

Slasher cat NPC issue. I freed Lois and sent her to do love birds task. Slasher cat attacks her again as she is walking. This has happened twice. If I select Lois to do a task tiny co should block slasher cat just as slasher cat blocks me from Lois doing task. Issue is Peter I set on task and each time I have to wait again until he is done. I’ve wasted a good 10 hours right now. Nice to get the popcorn but Lois isn’t moving the game forward either

Not an issue. As intended. She is meant to help you get a bunch of needed Popcorn so Slasher Cat will keep attacking her to help you get them. Faster than balloon way. 😉

Am I the only person who crafted murder point then it showed I had it but I didn’t and after tinyco put it in my inventory all the other buildings to craft are locked? Has been this was since the 1st day of the event… Can’t move forward so I have contacted tinyco daily with no response… I guess I won’t be getting death …uugggghhh sigh
Bunny I know they love u over there any chance u can get the scoop on if this bug is big enough for them to be working on a resolution?

If you contacted them once already… wait. Don’t flood them with messages. That just hurts you and other players. Also, check your Inventory. See if they put one there. If not, try to go back to the Booth and see if you can craft it again. Those were the patches they made on day two for the issue.

I guess I was not clear…this is a new issue… I have murder point cuz they put it in my inventory… But now…. All the other buildings after the checked murder point are locked… Can’t do anything else and this has been this way since day one… Guess no one else has this problem so thanx any…

They have. And you still need to contact them. It should have been fixed. Most players they had to reset the Booth items so the player could collect them in order again. So… Contact TinyCo.

Sorry. This is something only they can fix. Just keep in mind it is all in house… they don’t outsource to thousands of reps worldwide, so depending on where you are in Queue… it may take time to get to you. Sending multiple messages just adds to that wait time.

i have “be murdered” as a blue task for slasher peter, but it’s not any of the quests. anyone else see that?

Hi there! Any hints on how to earn scream points?? I am barely on level two and supposed to hit level 4 by Thursday?? Ugh! Any suggestions?? I am up to the pumpkin bouncey house and half way to placing deaths moms house. Thank you addicts!!

Thanks! I’m almost at deaths house, at the quest line that I can’t go any further because I don’t have slasher cat (part 7??) but haven’t bought any decorations. Where can I find how many 3D glasses I have? Which ones give the most slasher points? Sorry if this has been covered in another thread.. Haven’t found it yet in my hunting.. Thanks for all your hard work!!

Decorations Scream Points are listed on the main rundown post. Tap on one in the Menu to get an idea how many you have. No running total anywhere.
You need Slasher Peter for Part 7 & 8.

When ever I click on lois when she is chased by slasher cat an error comes up

Game error says. could not find Close button “button_close” when I click on lois when she is being chased by slasher cat. I also have peters slasher bait costume and I click on lois being chased it also says the same error I tried everything to fix it but the error keeps coming up 😦

Is your game save to an email or Facebook? Is so an unistall/reinstall should help clear it. If not … contact TinyCo

If you are unable to place Death’s Mom’s House, please try placing it from the main menu.
To access you inventory from the main menu:
1. Tap on the Main Menu button.
2. Tap Inventory.
3. The Event tab will appear by default, and Death’s Mom’s House is here.
It worked for me and I’m sure it will help a lot of others too so thought I should let you know . . .

That info is in the post already. Thanks. Unfortunately this does NOT work for everyone. So those still with issue have to contact them for a Player by Player fix until they can patch it. 🙂

Anyone else have a problem with the app not shutting down after exiting. I close the app, and it appears to close, but the music can still be heard in the background. When I open the app again, it’s stuck on the exit screen. Requires a force close to be able to restart it. When it restarts, characters I’ve assigned a task are not doing that task, things are not being added to counters. It looks like it’s failing to update the server and is stuck either trying to update or receiving a reply. Happens on my tablet (wireless) and on bluestacks (wired). Tried reinstalling, but the problem persists.

As Bluestacks is not TinyCo supported, I can’t help you there. As far as your actual device, I would suggest a forced sync of game progress. This can usually be done by visiting Ollie Land or a Neighbor.

Tried that before, doesn’t work. Visited Ollie land, clicked the characters, return, exit, force stop, back in, visit Ollie land again and the characters all have ticks above them. It’s a lot more frequent during events.

All I can suggest is reach out to TinyCo. May be something in your device creating some lag for it not syncing up and saving your game play.

Happens to me all the time on my tablet. I have to force close and make sure the app is closed. Visiting Ollie only insures that the last tasks I ordered up are sure to run and I have to do that every time I play, especially if I did a lot of task-sending or I am shutting down for the night. Then, I also have to make sure the app shuts down or the music will play away and the game is still active even though I have gone through the “exit” process. Only app I have to do this for and it is an extra step but I have just grown accustomed to doing it as kind of “the cost of doing business”.

Anyone else got a very bad drop rate at the murder point?
My experience is that this is never common.
I got more misses than items out of it.
I’m about 5 to 6 times without a cigarette drops against 4 times a drop.

If you go into settings and go into your inventory from there you can place Death’s house according to multiple people on the Facebook page. Hope this helps people.

My game crashes when I go to save Lois from slasher cat ): I have tried restarting but no luck! And every time I try to email tinyco via the help button it crashes again. I badly want to move on. Have you heard of any one experiencing this same issue?

I dont have the option to even place deaths mom house, its nowhere to be found, not in the inventory or shop, already sent a message to support, hope it helps

I was able to overcome the issues of Death Mom’s House stuck in inventory by accessing inventory from the menu screen (where settings and account info are) vs the edit screen. Hope this helps! I have also felt my popcorn totals are off but wasn’t 100% sure…

TinyCo fixed the problem for me after I PMed them about it since I, too, was affected with the Death house stuck in the inventory glitch.

I heard if death is stuck in inventory, you can get him out if you go to inventory from the menu button instead of move mode.

I didn’t even get a chance to place death house in my town. It just gone after I create it and then I found it in my inventory….stuck. dammit, it’s a real drag too cuz death housentence is a good source of leveling up seeing as leveling up to level 4 seems to take forever.

Another problem I have come across is that I’m not able to collect from some of the Halloween buildings (moon bounce and deaths moms house and the mask one) they just reset when it’s time to collect, no scream points and no coins. Thought I’d give people a heads up.

Yours is the first report I have heard of that happening to. Sounds like you need to do some troubleshooting and contact TinyCo if it doesn’t resolve.

Don’t know if this is another. It has happened a couple of times. I got to the part where you save Louis from slasher cat. This completes this part of the quest. You then have to have Louis hide from slasher cat. I put her on the task and then left the game. When I went back into the game 2 hours later she was running around again getting chased by slasher cat. I had to clear it again and then she automatically went back to her task. It had completed about 1 hour instead of 2. Is this suppose to happen? Once the 8 hour task was complete I put her on teach piano task to get item for death and it happened again. I’m greatful for the extra popcorn you get but if you don’t look regularly you may end up being behind on a quest. Any advise on this would be great.
