DEATH AT THE DRIVE-IN PHASE 2 IS HERE!!!
EVENT ENDS THURSDAY NOVEMBER 5TH @3PM PACIFIC
- First up, you will have to be on Part 9 of Death at the Drive-in
- You will need to be at Scream Level 4 or Higher
- Play the New Event Phase to access ALL Content. With every new Event Phase there are “unlock points” for many items, so play through the Main Questline in order to see it all. I will Update Unlock points if any as I find them.
WARNING: There is another 24hr Timed Item in the Movie Projection Booth. This time it will be a Building Skin. Same kind of trigger point that the items BEFORE it once created will make it so the timer will start on the next tap in Booth. So if you are on a possible Timer Trigger for Slasher Cat’s 24hr timer… WATCH OUT. Don’t trigger that one either. This goes for Slasher Bait Lois, she is in the MOVIE PROJECTION BOOTH. So do not tap on her in the Menu or it will take you there.
Also, DO NOT REPAIR ESTHER’S CAR!! Not just yet anyway. It triggers Patty’s 7 Day Timer. So be prepared before jumping in.

When opening the game Connie will have a ! over her head. You can also just go tap on the Movie Screen to change the Movie to the New Phase Content and complete Part 9 of Death at the Drive-in Questline. You will also see Peter and Stewie now with a ! over their heads. (Not all Players will see the Questlines right off, it depends on WHO you already own)
Peter Starts the New Main Questline for the Event, Death at the Drive-In the Sequel… this also triggers the Vampires to start. Once you tap through Peter then will start another Questline, Meg Has a Friend… this will take you to Unlock Patty… so wait if you’re not ready, don’t start to repair the car just yet… SHE IS TIMED.
Connie Starts a Questline for her Witch Costume, Double, Double, Toil and Trouble
Stewie Starts a Questline for his Duck Costume, Scared Straight
Again… they will vary on what YOU have in your game and what Questlines you may have already triggered last year.

Similar to the Launcher, placing this in the game will show a “Kill Zone Circle” around it. Once a Werewolf enters the Circle and turns PURPLE, tap the check mark to take them out.
Werewolves: You will start to see the details of the Werewolves when you reach A Questline will trigger by a ! over Peter AFTER Death at the Drive-in the Sequel Part 3, but the Werewolves won’t start to appear until A Questline will trigger by a ! over Peter AFTER Death at the Drive-in the Sequel Part 4. I got 3 right away.
Your Characters in the game will randomly turn into a Werewolf. This will NOT stop their timer if they are on a task, but you won’t be able to collect until you hit them with the Silver Cannon and turn them back to normal.
Characters that will become Werewolves: Quagmire, Mort, Bonnie, Joe, Connie, Brain, Carter, Stewie, Consuela, Cleveland, Jake, Buzz Killington, Kool-Aid Man, Snoop Dogg, Deadmau5, Weird Al
A Questline will trigger by a ! over Peter AFTER Death at the Drive-in the Sequel Part 4, you just tap on them and you will see the same screen like the Unholy Nuns along with WHO it is that is turned in the top Left Corner. You can put a Silver Cannon down at this time and wait til Werewolf is ready to be attacked. Remember PURPLE IS GOOD. Tap on the Check Mark when the Werewolf is going INTO the Kill Zone Circle and turns PURPLE.
Werewolves Payouts: The amounts paid out vary. It seems like I got 8-9 Sodas, but still testing it out.
VAMPIRES, BATS, AND GARLIC BOMBS
You will start to see Vampires Roaming your town now after starting Part 1 of Death at the Drive-in the Sequel. Tapping on them will turn them into Bats. But now, how to get rid of those Bats? Garlic of course!
VAMPIRE SPAWN: Watch your Movie Screen. Tapping on it will show you WHO pops out next, how many, and how long til that Spawn (right now Unholy Nuns & Vampires will swap as next Spawn)
HELP NOTE: Place TWO Squares of Road right at the Entrance to Event Area where the Nuns and Vampires come out. This will make it easier to keep them right there and tap them, then Bomb the Bats right away. 🙂
The Garlic Bomb Launcher Icon will show in your Lower Right Corner of the game as soon as you COMPLETE Part 1 of Death at the Drive-in the Sequel
Garlic Bomb Launcher: You will see a New Icon in your game for the Garlic Launcher. Tapping on it will pull up a screen similar to past events where anything in the “Cloud Path” of the bomb will be destroyed. So, MAZE TIME??!! (Still testing if they even stay anywhere, right now… NO 😦 More random like the Unholy Nuns, but if you wait… you can get more than one in an area. Especially if you do it AS SOON AS YOU TAP A VAMPIRE) You will want to make the most of each Garlic Bomb.
Garlic Bombs: Jerome OR Quagmire OR The Playground OR The Police Department OR Questline OR Buy Them
****The Bats break up after tapping a Vampire into groups of 2 or 3 Flocks of Bats Each. So you get roughly 2 or 3 Flocks of Bat groups from each Vampire tapped. Tapping on the Flocks of Bats WILL stop them for a few seconds and change their direction. So… you can keep tapping on a few to keep them in an area til you are ready.

I meant to ask back when we went from phase/week 2 to phase/week 3 events – did they pull the Decorated Ghost Tree and the Plastered Witch from being able to pick up extras with the 3D glasses? At the time I didn’t have any to spare but am now sitting on a heap of them and noticed they were no longer listed for purchase. Thanks in advance, elk.

What Phase are you in? If you skipped to the next phase without unlocking it, the timer automatically started. It was in the Main rundown post for the New Phase about the timer starting.

I’m still in phase 2. I can click on the screen and go to phase 3 but I didnt. It doesnt say expire like it did for the cat but locked and it still showing in the shop.

My popcorn options (even popcorn plus sodas) have disappeared all together! I know the amounts are ever-changing, but I’ve not had any popcorn options in quite a while – like I have well over 200 popcorn just sitting there plus all the unholy water balloons and unholy nuns! Anyone else having this problem? It’s making advancing even slower…I haven’t even got to Slasher bait Lois yet. Is there something I am missing or doing wrong?

Okay so I was having a problem finding something. There was this thing you can do with the 3D glasses you collect. I had to do a quest that required me to do something with what looked as a human Rupert, he was holding a blue box and you can get different prizes like some holy water balloons, 25 movie reels and I forgot what the other thing was. Anyways I had used all the times I needed to do it for my quest and now I want to do it to try and win more holy water, how do I get to it?

You have to try to use methods to help your game deal with the amount of RAM aka Memory drain it runs into with app games and Events like this. Unfortunately if the device did not save that progress… there isn’t a way to reverse time and put it back.

If you do not have Joe’s Hellhouse yet… you can tap on the lil info i in the menu next to it to get a rough idea. Otherwise, not other counters outside those decorations.

Is it just me or did the popcorn ammount needed for the soda + popcorn option for reels just sky rocket? I am scream level seven (7) and it is still the normal (for me) 25 sodas, but its 105 popcorn now (was around 35-40ish area).

A bit of advice for anyone running the SBLois tasks for Patty I just started them today and with the timer running, time will be precious. So don’t forget about Peter. Lois will likely get attacked by Slasher Cat preventing you from ending her task unless you have Peter available. So avoid putting him on a lengthy task. Just a nugget fer yaz.

It says garlic bombs can be dropped by the playground but it doesn’t even show up as a chance when I tap on it, the police department has it. So is this an error? Or some other building other than the police station is dropping the garlics?

I had the same question and I spent over 500 clams is week alone between Myers and Mr. High Fructose. Definitely will not have slasher Lois on time unless I spend more clams. I am on the prize before her and currently only have 37 reels…

I was silly enough to repair the car at the beginning of the 2nd phase and have now only 2 days left to get patty which would just be impossible. If i tap the gold padlock i can complete now for clams. Would this also get me slasher bait lois, library and other decorations or would i still have to collect the film reels required.i have enough reels for the library but thought they’d be more useful for the building skin. Also if i completed patty with clams would this automatically start the 24 hr timer for 300 film reels. Please help I’m not sure what to do for the best.

For me the game changed yesterday. Popcorn and soda both went down significantly. I imagine payouts changed for other levels too. Anyone else notice a payout change?

I took screen shots at every level but in a nutshell it changes at each +100 in Scream count.
Scream Level 7 (1515/1550)
35 soda=10 reels or 27 soda & 80 popcorn=12
Scream Level 8 (1558/2100)
No change…
Scream Level 8 (1604/2100)
50 soda=10 reels or no change
Scream Level 8 (1705/2100)
Still 50 soda=10 or now 45 soda & 130 popcorn=12
My scream level is raising. Literally

Finish the Questline for District 10, then once it is done… clear those left with Stewie.

Im on see no evil 2 and am trying to complete the bats….. But no vamps are being given and i am down to a day. Any clues as to what i need to do to get these vamps to come

Hi Bunny! Question, by any chance do you know if there is an issue with the garlic bombs? I got the garlic, the vampires, tapped for the flocks…, but can’t see the the bombs away button…. Neither I have a game update waiting for me…. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Not sure if possible but does anyone have an idea about how far we should have progressed in week 2s items? I don’t seem to be making movie reels at a fast enough pace to complete this(I am still on the 1st row of items). I have completed week 2 challenge but still haven’t unlocked death, no where near Lois, and haven’t even considered tapping on the timed car deal. I play every couple hours but can’t seem to get enough of any needed garlic, cannon balls, etc to attempt to catch up or even keep up. As always, great site, thanks ladies.

Hi there! Sorry if this already been asked, but I didn’t see it anywhere yet… When collecting items for patty, do the items only start appearing when the car is repaired? I haven’t repaired yet as I am waiting for the library and maybe SB Lois before I start the timer.. But I haven’t seen one unicorn sticker or retainers. Sometimes you can start collecting early. Just wanted to double check to make sure I don’t have a glitch or I’m doing something wrong. Thanks!!!

For the vampires, if you make a maze with a four square patch of road you can easily get well over 12 flocks of bats at a time. I accidentally started the time for the weekly challenge and was still able to get it by using a maze. Just wait for the vampires to get on the roads inside the maze. Just waiting now to get 460 reels to get the time projection booth items, going to take time.

This only works for me if I can manage to tap the Vamps fast enough Before they hit the two square patch. Can’t always do that though, especially when I open up the game and there is a big pop up in the way saying get such and such item. Anywho, once my Vamps hit the road patches, then I cannot hit them all quickly without tapping one or two of the 13 werewolves that are continuously there, which in turn pops up a target screen, which in turn prevents me from tapping the Vamps quickly. Grrrr. I try getting rid of werewolves ahead of time, but no sooner do I turn one or two, and another character turns back. Not enough garlic to get rid of enough werewolves to keep my road clear. So frustrated.

Still no vamps or nuns in my game cause of the timer issue. I’m hoping TinyCo will give the players the week 2 prize since we have not been able to participate in even trying to get it. Vamps only spawned 1 time at the begining of phase 2.

Just curious….does Joe’s hellhouse building skin drop any items? Does it help progress thru the game or is it just another deco that earns scream points? Thank you!!!!

Is anyone else having this problem. I hadn’t checked my game since the night before so I had like 6 vampires waiting and 6 garlic so I was ready to go nuts and when I clicked on the vampires they didn’t release any bats. Not a one. All 6 of the Vampires. I’m waiting for another group of Vamps to come out to see if it does it again, but has anyone else has this issue? Never did until today.

3 more vamps came out. Only 1 flock came out of each Vamp. 3 flocks total. Since there are so few it’s really easy to keep a tally on how many they’re dropping. Definitely just one each. Do they drop less flocks if you have bats flying around your town already or something? Those are all spread out though so I don’t go for those since I’d only be able to hit a couple at once.

Somewhere I read that there is a max of 30 flocks of bats per town. So if you have 30 single flocks flying around vampires won’t spawn bats when touched. If you have 29 they will only spawn one flock.
(I’m sure it was this site bc it’s the only one I read on this subject).

Bunny I have a question. Lol.
I want to start the week 2 challenge and get it over with. But since we have to clear so many dang bats, I want to repair Esther’s car and start on Patty and her little sparkly Unicorn stickers. Might as well. But she requires Slasher Lois to completely unlock her.. So IF I manage to get everything else done on Patty’s list except for killing Slasher Lois 3 times.. How much do you think I would pay out in clams to buy her with just the Slasher Lois requirements left on her?

I’ve been reading comments on this and I’m a little bit unclear. I thought I saw that if you spend the 75 clams then you wouldn’t have to collect 100 reels for SB Lois? Is that correct? Cuz I spent the 75 clams to skip her tasks, but she’s still locked in the projection booth. But I also haven’t unlocked the thing right before her yet either, so I’m just not quite sure if she’ll automatically unlock or if I still have to get the 100 reels for her

You just skip that task requirement (3x murdered)… not unlocking her. It is there to speed up the progress of getting Patty.

Tip for hitting bats… Put a road right in front of the event I did a square 4 total spots of road and the vampires will respond there and only there… The. Click the vampires and launch a garlic bomb fast and you should get at least 9 per bomb

What do you get from the concession stand if you use the Get Now option and spend clams? Reels? Soda and popcorn? I assume it completes the items needed and satisfies the requirements for whatever option you’re viewing/currently have selected?

My trade in levels are freaking out… I assume it’s because I just unlocked Death (my level didn’t change), but I went from
60 Popcorn / 25 Sodas -> 12 Reels
32 Sodas -> 10 Reels
To this:
105 Popcorn / 20 Sodas -> 12 Reels
25 Sodas -> 10 Reels
Needless to say I immediately spent all of the sodas I saved up at the new 25 conversion just in case it changed again.

Bunny, I think u may have copied the same stats from scream lvl 6 to lvl 7 up above. That may be what is throwing ppl off. I was also wondering why such a big jump from 60 to 130 popcorn. You’re human, babe. We all make mistakes 🙂

No. It is correct. Look at the comments and you will see that is EXACTLY what the Players reported. EVERYONE has different payouts. Which is why it says that… and why I asked people to note where they are in the game, their level, and their payouts. 😉

Can you please clarify something for me? Matt said he was able to trade sodas for reels as well as the soda +popcorn combination. I do not see where I can just use the sodas to create reels.

While in the Booth, scroll to the left. It usually opens on the 2 item exchange, but that is the 2nd option.

Just reached level 7:
105 Popcorn / 20 Sodas = 12 Reels
25 Sodas = 10 Reels

While you are still level 7 it will change to 35 soda for 10 or 80 pop and 25 sodas for 12. It isn’t just based on level, it’s a pattern and probably based on scream points. Sometimes it changes with level sometimes it changes mid level as scream point hits a certain number. I don’t think the exact pattern has been tracked and notated in one spot for all levels but we are all experiencing the same patterns as we individually climb the ladder. You can see it confirmed by various reader posts. So we are all in the same boat! Good luck!

I’m at scream level 8, almost 9 (yikes!), and it costs me either 50 sodas for 10 reels or 130 popcorn & 45 (i think) sodas for 12 reels. Sounds like a no-brainer, right? Lol. I’ll double check, but I’m pretty sure that’s right. I wonder why it would be different for some people. That’s really not fair. 😦

Woke up this morning and tried to wrangle whatever vampires had appeared overnight. I managed to trap all 8 in a corner, click on em and launch a single garlic that killed all 24 bat swarms in one shot!!! WOOHOO! A crapton of unicorns popped out (Patty [aka Esther (?)] here I come!)! Aaaaand as soon as I clicked on a unicorn sticker the game crashed/force closed.
I lost all those winnings. 😦
I reported it to TC but just thought I’d mention my woes.
