Hey there Slashers!
The Popcorn has been popped. Death & Chucky is in the game. A psychotic Slashing Cat is terrorizing our towns, so what do we need? MORE TERROR!!! I hope you all know where your Stuffed Animals & Dollies are as it is about to get a lil bit more SLASHER SCARY IN HERE!!!
Phase 3 is now live in our games, and even MORE HORRORS are to be had. No I am not just talking about Movie Reels!! hack hack hack hack chop chop chop chop kill kill kill kill….
With this New Event, we got some more Characters & Costumes options. Costumes like Slasher Bait Lois & Characters like Slasher Cat!
Let’s take a look at what Slasher Bait Lois & Slasher Cat can do in our silly lil games.
SLASHER CAT
Slasher Cat is a Character added during the 1st week of Death at the Drive In 2015. As with (almost) all Characters in TQFS in order to unlock him you’ll have to collect lots of STUFF.
For Slasher Cat, the STUFF you had to earn for her revolved around the Movie Projection Booth. You FIRST had to clear the 7 Prizes that were in front of him. Once that 7th Prize was collected, the next tap on the Booth will start the 24HR TIMER FOR SLASHER CAT
Once you got to him, you were able to tap on Him in the Movie Projection Booth and open up the Pop Up Info to see He Required 100 
Movie Reels to get him, just like in the Event Menu, or a Clam Option if you don’t want to earn Movie Reels. (My game showed 1350 
Clams).
If you were able to get him in time or spent the Clams to pull him out, you saw the Booth spit him out. Tapping on “AWESOME” put him first into Inventory.
Then tapping on him in the Inventory pulls him onto your Quahog Streets with the Unlock Icon bouncing above him.
Tapping on the Icon brings the Character live into your game for use. More info on Slasher Cat vs Slasher Cat NPC (the one that chases Lois) HERE
He does come with a Questline…sort of, Cat Slash Murderer, more on it HERE.
Slasher Cat is also a part of a Clam Character Group, Absolute Killers. Earning all the Characters in the Group and completing it will earn you an extra 20 Free Clams
.
Slasher Cat does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ & XP. He also has tasks to earn additional items to help you in the game. Like 
Scythe’s and 
Silver Cannonballs.

SLASHER BAIT LOIS
Slasher Bait Lois is a Character Costume added during the 2nd week of Death at the Drive In 2015. As with (almost) all Characters in TQFS in order to unlock him you’ll have to collect lots of STUFF.

She does come with a Questline…sort of, Running Scared, more on it in a later post.
Slasher Bait Lois is also a part of a Clam Character Group, Slasher Ready. Earning all the Characters in the Group and completing it will earn you an extra 10 Free Clams. Since she completed my Collection, the Clams were added to my totals.
Slasher Bait Lois does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ & XP. She also helps get Pumpkins.

Family Guy Addicts 
This will probably sound like a rant but it’s not meant to be, just a suggestion. Since so many of us kind of got hosed on the Slasher Cat character, it would be nice if Tinyco could at least make Slasher Cat as an animated deco at a REASONABLE price, say 200 3D Glasses or something like that.

I love slasher cat so much, he is by far my favourite character! His toothy grin and the way he eats fanciest feast is makes me laugh. So glad I didnt give up and without your help on this site I would not ha e got him so thanks so much 😺

I must have FUBAR’d this event from the beginning. I somehow skipped the whole first page of the Movie Projection Booth tasks (which are all still locked) and worked on the tasks on page 2. I’m finishing up the pumpkin tower now, and just realized what the situation is. (The pumpkin tower that will go immediately into storage as soon as this event concludes, so it feels like wasted effort.)
Highly doubt I’ll be able to salvage things at this point. Resources have slowed to a trickle. And now the few characters able to do tasks are turning into werewolves — knocking them out of rotation until I can scrounge up a silver cannonball. Add to that I’m just getting to level 6, which from reading comments here is about half where I should be by now..
I’m probably in the minority here, but not a big fan of this one even though the idea is really good. I’m a daily player since Comic Con with Bryan Cranston, and was looking forward to what they’d come up with for Halloween. Now I’m worrying if the big Christmas/New Years event will be another “spawned creatures make resources you need for a linear series of useless decorations as the few characters capable of doing anything but walking around all have conflicting 6 or 12 hour tasks” cluster.
All that said, LOVE to the Addicts for the hard work and guidance. Next time I’ll stop by earlier.

Many are still working on Lois. Don’t feel too bad. The event started ok… then took a turn… in Phase 3 it seems to be stabilizing better. Just keep doing what you can.

This is killing me now bunny any tips 🙂 really far away from getting slasher bait Lois plus I have 200+ popcorn from the nuns but nowhere to use them, no option to exchange for reels, am I missing something! Plllleeeaaassseeeee help x virtual hugs from Liverpool x

Those options seem to come n go as you play. Report your issue to TinyCo and try to keep getting sodas. Many are where you are too.

Well, after finally getting my internet, TV, and phone back up tonight, one of the scythe trio finally dropped the last one I needed for Death, so hopefully my obtaining of Slasher Baid Lois will be faster so I can start phase 3 finally… I think I’ve got around 25 reels right now, so pray for Mojo.

Heck, I don’t even have death unlocked from phase one yet.. I can’t get any scythes. Should get Plastered Witch tomorrow, but that will leave me with just 10 reels toward slasher bait Lois. I may have missed a post, but I still don’t know why the “Freakin’ Hard” timer for phase 2 started somewhere around the time I had the warded bunker unlocked, so that’s obviously long gone. Thanks for all your help and info Bunny.

Just unlocked Slasher Bait Lois– finally– seemed like forever this event. 😀 I can also finish unlocking Patty– hopefully in a couple of days– before starting week 3 content.

I finally unlocked Slasher Bait Lois a few hours ago and have just enough time to do her mandatory task 3 times to unlock Patty.
My plan to slow down Scream levels looks to have worked too well, since I’m still 200 points await to getting to Level 8. I did put all my event buildings out last night and just might have enough points to unlock Week 3 when I get Patty. All I’m doing now while waiting for that to happen is collecting Reels, so I can catch up on unlocking items.
One thing that’s annoying the hell out of me is its taking forever to get up Scratch cat to level 6, so he can be useful. I’m hoping by tomorrow morning he’ll reach it.
Even though i wasn’t going after the High School it was already locked before I was able to get Slasher Bait Lois. I didn’t go back in at any time to start the timer, it just automatically showed up locked.

Well, 10 reels away from Slasher Bait Lois. Will have her later this evening and will be able to move on to Phase 3 in the wee hours of the morning.

as i’m the same boat as the others, the popcorn stop to be a currency and i’m 39 reels out of 60 to get the plastered witch and the bats are not like there used to be, so i’m not even sure i’ll be at phase 3 when the event will be at 4,

Not really. If you look at the post, those on Level 8 are seeing the same I am when they are hitting Phase 3. That is what I am getting at. They are stabilizing more in Phase 3 with Exchange. 😉

Please give me some useful advice: Here is my situation, I have used up my budget on this event and cant afford anymore clams to further me along. I have 104 reels and only at the Plastered Witch on Page 2. I dont have Slasher Bait Lois yet and im really starting to panic! The drop rate keeps changing for sodas from the bats and in the concession stand the exchange changes every day. it seems that i am not doing well at all and need to know the best strategy for getting the most out of the event. other than using the wolves for the best pay out on sodas the bats are a waste of time. And i have unlocked the third stage where it says ghost movie but the chocolate bars in the concession stand are still locked, what am i doing wrong? Im at level 8 in the event and they should be dropping from headless horsemen but they arent even showing up in the game. In the Movie Prop Shack the third slot says upgrade to ghost movie to unlock but when i click on the big screen it says i am at ghost movie and in 5 days and level 11 it unlocks insane movie. What can i do? Thanks.

You are stuck. You may have accessed SOME items for Phase 3, but you have not actually unlocked it. In order to do that, you need to get Lois, complete Part 7 of the Main Questline and move on to Part 9. Once there, the NEW Questline for Phase 3 will start and you will have access to Chocolates.
Just keep earning as you can, in the meantime… report your dilemma to TinyCo from your in game messaging.

Popcorn stopped being a usable currency this morning. Only have 30 out of 100 reels for Lois!

Popcorn trade stops showing sometimes but sometimes it comes back when you have the required amount, which seems to change constantly. Im a level 7 and when i got 60 popcorn the option came back, sometimes i have to scroll to see it.
