With the Thanksgiving Mini Event rolling out of our towns tomorrow, I wanted to bounce by really quickly to see just where you all are as far as the Mini Event goes.
Take a quick peak at all the questions in the poll and answer all that apply to you. I will be closing the Poll tonight at Midnight (Eastern) so I can compile all the results before the Event ends, so take a few minutes and let us know where YOU are in the Event.

It’s not like I have that much time to. Play the game like I’d want to but I have been stifled by the low drop rates for the items needed. I feel that if the game gave a little chance I’d be more motivated like I was up to the Star Trek challenges. I like the game don’t get me wrong. I hope Christmas this year won’t come up all coals.

Took the quiz. Coins were really never the problem. I mostly gave up on the building collecting part. Rares take longer to grind because they kept coming in chunks, so I’d only get like 4 a day max. With bacon that hurt early on and lost my attention. Kale was starting to be the same way, but if they extended it I’ll give it another go.

Hi all with game extension , should finish all tasks have read a lot of comments about items not dropping but win some lose some . If game was so predictable there would be no fun , a new quest is on the horizon . Good luck fellow gamers .

I’m completely screwed…
I should be able to get Wide Load clothing and Death’s balloon before it shuts down.
I was completely stressed on this one. Didn’t feel there was enough time to complete the quests during a holiday where you are interacting with family for days. To complete quests I was having to set my iphones alarm for 2hours then 3hours then back to 2 hours but could not do that for the entire event and not be rude (or shop) with the family. I also had a 24 hour event (Rubert) that wanted things from a building I had not earned from the event yet. I am disappointed that I will not be getting Donna or Roberta, I did use $$ to buy clams to purchase Rollo & Jr thinking I would be ok on earning the girls. It would be nice if we could buy them for discounted clams depending where in the quests we are. Seeing how difficult the drop rate in my game was I would need 4 or 5 more days to reach the main prize. ☹️😭😔 I think the event should have started 3 or 4 days earlier than what it did.

2 butters, 14 fat coins (doable), and 4 marttinies away from unlocking Donna. 2 cold press juice, 4 kale,and 1 organic quino needed to unlock the pumpkin Ferris wheel before I even get to Roberta. These last few items are going to be the DEATH of me! Hopefully I obtain what I need by 6pm est Friday….I am off the next few days so maybe I can set my timer and task more frequently. Overall I like it more than the last 2 events because I became stuck on the peterpalooza and the Halloween event had far too much going on that I was about a solid week or two maybe more behind.

Do you think they might have some use for the extra fit and fat coins i have protesters still dropping them and ive unlocked all i can yesterday.

So, I’ve got Fat Stewie and am working my way through the jobs. Some of my characters are still generating red and blue coins. There doesn’t seem to be anything to use the coins on. Am I missing something?

I am about 25 fat coins short for some reason, this came as a total surprise… I guess I didn’t clear enough fat protesters but there weren’t that many to begin with, as I have about 30 spare fit coins that I won’t need… Bizarre and this may mean I won’t get the final character. I guess I will find out tomorrow so fingers crossed!

Yup, I still need about 20 fat coins to unlock Donna but everything else is done, so this extension came very appreciated 🙂 very bizarre though my lack of fat coins, I now have even more fit coins surplus than before. Not had any big issues with drop rates either, so hopefully all should be well by mid tomorrow 🙂

I messaged tiny co. In game and asked them if they could change the drop rate for kale to unlikely becouse thats what it feels like. 2 days and now even with mort helping over 30 attemps i only have 1 in 2 days. Sheesh.

I don’t have it that bad, but the drop rate for Kale is definitely the worst. Fairly religious about checking it other than when I’m asleep, so between Mort and the building, I’ve probably had 40 opportunities for drops since I unlocked the building early yesterday, but only 6 have been successful (4 for the Ferris Wheel, 2 so far for Roberta). Have everything else to get Fat Stewie except for Donna’s Fat Coins, and I’m only two short there. Had a round earlier where none of the three fat protestors dropped one though. That was fun. It was right before I saw they had extended it a day, so luckily my frustration didn’t last too long.
Anyone know how much the Kale is in Clams? If it’s one or two short by 3pm tomorrow, it should be worth it.

Just get mort to do his job to get kale and use 2clams to complete it instantly iv done that a couple of times and both times it took 2attempts costing 4clams cheapest way iv found without using to many clams

nice event over all. Was a bit rough on the drops through some parts while others went pretty easily. Can’t really complain though since I unlocked Fat Stewie the night before the day of the last balloon I was able to take it easy yesterday and only stop in every four hours to reset the tasks for the last balloon.

Considering it took me 3 full days to collect 4 Kale for the ferris wheel, I highly doubt I’ll get the 7 Kale needed for Roberta Tubbs before the end of the event as I just finally placed the ferris wheel this morning. And since I probably won’t get her I won’t be spending clams for Rallo either. If I am able to get both Donna and Roberta I’ll buy Rallo in order to have the entire family. But I won’t spend the clams for him if I don’t have the rest of the the family. Bummed as I’ve played every 1-2 hours the entire event minus sleep time of course! The Kale and juice has been the major hold up for me in this event. Will be interesting to see where everyone else is in this!

The building drops were too rare! By now I have like 50 fit coins and 40 fat coins, but the drops from buildings are so rare that I’ve only got three fat prizes and two fit prizes…
To the persons who have unlocked all prizes; How often do you play? Do you go in every 4 hours to collect from the buildings?

You asked, so I will answer. I finished with 48 hours to spare. Depending what I needed, my check ins were every four hours (save for sleep) but two when the juices were in play because I could see how tough they were going to be. I am fortunate to have a life situation to do that. I increased my check ins for the kale (every hour) because I knew they would be rough (and they were). I also completely ignored the main quest line and the daily challenges until the end. Am going to finish the quest line by the original deadline easy. With the extension, I wish I had attempted the challenges. Surely could have done it all looking back on it, but you don’t know when you get started.

Four hours is fine at the beginning, but toward the end several of the building drops are once every two hours or even every hour, so you should be checking that much more often. I can say for sure that the protestor refresh rate is less than four hours. At one point I logged in pretty close to three hours in a row and had new protestors each time. The Fit protestors show up less often (once every 2-4 hr for Fit compared to once every 1-2 hr for Fat), but they appear four at a time to the Fat protestors’ three at a time, and appear to have a better drop rate on their respective Coins.

I go to school full time and I collect from buildings as soon as I get home and I check by every hour or so. I want Donna and Roberta so bad.

I thought Tinyco crammed too many new items into the farmers market for us to unlock its a short event with what was required another 3 to 4 more days would have been more realistic for the event to end. For the event to end tomorrow it should have been 4 or 5 buildings to unlock then the character but with just over 24 hours to go i have managed to unlock all the fat and fit buildings and just now have to work on getting both Donna and Roberta i have a lot of items to get for both just have the coins completed on both. It would be a miracle to unlock them with the way things are dropping for me if everything was an Always drop i would have enough time but i need rare and extra rare items. Hope tinyco realise that the majority of people will not unlock the characters and bring them back again to collect items for and not for clams as IMO they would not be worth the clams.

Thanks Bunny Its great news Thank you Tinyco for listening and seeing how tough the event has been on us. I have a real good chance of getting both Donna and Roberta now. The drops for Donna have been very good for me and now only need 1 Turkey leg. So I will unlock her no problem. For Roberta its the Kale now I have 1 of 7 from about 12 attempts. But it should be doable.

I just got fat stewie, I was surprised that he needed so little items ,but I’m not complaining. I think this event has been a good one, well paced not to easy not to hard, I’m well happy I got everything except all the premium items but I did buy human Brian I couldn’t resist ,can’t wait for the Xmas event to start, I really enjoyed last years event and I know I’m gonna love this years

So I should be able to finish them both before the event ends. Didn’t make it far on the main questline, but i did get all of the 24 hour timed quests done.

Just an update.
The event was extended, but it didn’t matter cause i got the last few items necessary for both characters, can’t unlock baby stewie (don’t have him yet), so it all worked out for me.

I just tried to unlock Donna, but the blasted game took ALL of the items and did not unlock her. Now it wants me to start over, but there is no chance that I can gather enough fat tokens (at the least) to get her again.
…and don’t even get me started on the kale. I have everything else needed for Roberta, but no kale.

Kale and butter may as well be epic. Have had one of each drop in the last three days. They feel like the karate headbands and eyeballs all over again.

So much this… Having a limited run event like this with prizes one has to earn at the end of the prize ladder should *never* have anything required that are higher difficulty than rare, should have plenty of people able to work on them, and not demand more than just a few of said item.
I’m very likely not getting either Roberta or Donna due solely to kale and butter. I at least got lucky with the extra rare coconut oil this morning, but I have 0/2 butter and 1/7 kale with about 2 1/2 hours left. Why is everything that can earn butter have a 12 hour timer except for Quagmire’s 2 hour task!?

I’ve eaten kale, but now I loathe it even more. The stupid building has only dropped *one* kale since I got it several days ago, the others were all through Mort. The other drops have all been fairly decent, I’m glad to say.I just got the mashed potato wrestling pit today, so am scrambling to earn Donna within the next 24 hours. I’ve been working on Roberta since yesterday but still lacking 6 of the 7 kale needed. Stupid kale!! 🙂

Unlocked all characters yesterday and completed the balloon challenges, just finishing up quest lines. Perfectly paced mini-event that allows us to recharge before the big Christmas event. Hope fellow addicts get everything unlocked by tomorrow, I think my bad sleep patten helps me a little during events.

Yeah checking in throughout the night helped me as well. I didn’t go after the balloon challenges, though, since I’m not a big fan of decorations clogging up my landscape and was afraid if I spent time on those, I wouldn’t get to Fat Stewie at the end.

I’m actually REALLY happy with the flow 9f this Event. It was entirely doable with a couple days to spare on the end of ti as long as I kept consistent with what I was ding. I didn’t once feel rushed, hectic, or stressed.
Not noticing a serious direct Clam grab, ie clams were NOT necessary for anything but Rallo. I was exceptionally pleased with that. I like being able to spend clams for fun. NOT out of necessity because of the pace/challenge of the Event.
Kale… it did not like me. I finished all other stuff step by step and Kale was always what held me back. That last butter took 1.5 days to drop too. 😛 I was pleased that Fat and Fit coins were never really an issue. As long as I went in for the spawns often, I was gold. Ended up with nearly 50 extra fat tokens and 20 odd fit tokens.
I kinda wish there had been more direct Thanksgiving themed decos instead of just parade balloons suitable year round. A re-release of Trip the Turkey from last year would have been nice. 🙂
I don’t know how TinyCo sees this financially, but me personally, I really agree with the guy that said this Event recharged his batteries and vigor for the game. First event in a long time I wasn’t swearing at the pace and trying to figure out what Quests to ignore to complete the “Main” stuff. I’m clearly ready for the hectic pace I expect (ie, deal with) for a month long event and for once, that’s okay because I got this breather. Thank you TinyCo. 🙂

Ok…I screwed up something. I already had Roberta and I got Donna but I didn’t click on Donna’s lock after I put her in my game since I really wanted to get Fat Stewie. I went back to get him saw he was still locked and now can’t find Donna in my game. I checked inventory…not there. Went to Face Space, not there. I messaged TC but haven’t heard yet. UGH!!!

OK…phew! Temporary panic set in. I worked so hard and spent so many clams to keep up with questlines and get the items needed to unlock the characters. So to lose out because of something silly I did was really frustrating. Thanks Bunny for always coming to the rescue! Don’t know what I’d do without you or this site. 😊

Dangit! I finally got everything to get Roberta but the game froze up at the “awesome” window and she didn’t drop. Now it’s saying I still need 7 kale and a quinoa to unlock her. I sent a message through the game so I hope they fix it because it took forever to get those 7 kale the first time. 😦

Check your Inventory to see if she is hiding out in there. She won’t be in order, just randomly among the Characters.

I got all floats for the challenges and have everything but Donna and fat stewie and I’m only 2 turkey legs away. I spent no clam s and have like 40 sum each of the fat and fit coins left. Definitely didn’t need to send out characters for them. This event was perfectly pased for me unlike the Halloween one where despite logging in every 2-3 hours I was way behind and only earned less then 2 thirds the prizes.

I am really interested in the conclusions of this survey.
For me, I got stuck on certain drops (like juice … and baby shirts … ), and since I couldn’t get Kale-ifornia Living, I couldn’t finish Rupert’s Balloon Challenge 😦 (which is a shame, because I timed everything so well in terms of action, I actually had Joe and Louis & Bonnie waiting on the completed tasks till I get the building … and they’ve been waiting for almost 3 days … and honestly, I got stuck even before KAle-ifornia Living on the Fit path … Death’s Balloon also took incredibly long to get).

This was one of the more pleasurable events TinyCo has offered. I know, easy for me to say considering I got everything with 48 hours to spare. But that was mostly because I strategized and played hard. It is nice to be rewarded for that once in awhile since that is what initially drew me to the game. The main quest line appeared to take people off track, but after taking inventory of where I was at vis-a-vis the end of the event, I was able to time it out so I will finish that as well. The balloon challenges would have been fun to do, but I am not sure I would have finished the event had I deviated. Too many of the same key event characters involved in long tasks.
This was a great two-week distraction from the onslaught of high-pressure events we have had of late. I expect more of that for the next month with the Christmas event, but this event reinvigorated my interest in the game. I am sure not everybody feels the way I feel, but as an avid hardcore player, I give this event a double thumbs up.

Fat prizes went like greased lightening – much better than I anticipated after the first few days. Fit prizes seem a lot harder. I struggled to get enough juice and quinoa, done with them now, though. Now it’s the kale that is still resisting. I got 2 in as many days, seems unlikely I will get 5 more till tomorrow. Not sorry about the Stewie costume – I already have plenty of those. Would have liked Roberta, though.

For some of the items, I don’t know how many I have and won’t know until I finish the mashed potato wrestling pit as I have more than what is required for that item. Still waiting on bacon to move on to Donna.
For butter, I have zero as I haven’t been able to start collecting yet, there was no zero option in the poll.
Just out of curiosity, how are the results of these polls used?

I altered the poll to reflect None.
It is to help other Players to see where one another is and it also gives me a good overall view of where the majority of Players are. I also try to keep an eye out for issues throughout any Event and inform TinyCo of those findings.

Feeling good! Can’t believe I was able to knock this event out completely, and I think I only paid like 4 coins for a quick try at getting the last kale (which was successful). Disappointed, though, that Fat Stewie didn’t have a questline, and Cleveland stayed at 400 clams for me
oh well, hoping one day he drops in price!
