First up, what you will need in order to see the content in Phase 3. You will need to complete The Elf Empire Strikes Back Pt. 9 before you can begin the second phase of the event.

For those of you that DO have Stewie, go to the North Pole after Escape from the North Pole Pt. 1 triggers to buy him. You will be taken to Al’s to get him for the Clam cost.

You will open this new area during Escape from the North Pole Pt. 1. Just tap on go to be taken to the area and open it. This will be the location of the New Battle Area for Phase 3. You will need the Nutcracker Truck Hangar from Santa’s HQ so you can use the Nutcracker Truck for the Battles here.

At this point, ANY further tap on Santa’s Headquarters will start the 24 HOUR TIMER on the Christmas Tree Fort, so make sure you are prepared to get all the Presents needed to get it. Or decide to keep them for the Next round and just let it time out and Pass on it. Remember, these are labeled “HARD” for a reason. Many of them are like a Premium Item and will require Clams spent to get them all. Decide if he is really worth it to you before proceeding.

I completed the first one, but I see three more challenges ahead (one for each week) but with only two weeks and three days left, I’m curious to know if the second challenge has triggered in other people’s games and if so, what is the trigger and the challenge’s requirements? Mine just showed up game. Santa apperantly left the Humma (which screwed me over since I’ve needed all 3 drivers for 2 full days now just to get any reward) to get me to start it. Kinda bummed as I got screwed out of 4 hours and 2egg nogs for humma attack and I was not prepared to start it yet.

Is it a 24 hour time limit for this challenge? How long exactly does Kevin’s Go Through the Drill task last? Just curious since he has to accomplish this three times AND be used to attack the fake tree farm four times (which already accounts for 12 hours if each attack takes 3 hours).
Attacking the broken toy camp 3x at 6 hours each is 18 hours, and clearing misfit toys with Sarah 5x would take 5 hours…Thanks again!!!

It does in a way but you have to take into account that the attacks count as soon as you start one, not when you finish, so is probably better to get the other parts that require the character out of the way first.

problem is if you haven’t opened kevin you can’t really do two of the tasks as you need him obviously for his task and to attack the fake xmas tree camp (unless you spend clams to get nutcracker stewie)

WoW! I am impressed with those that are on part 3 and almost have Snake unlocked. I still have 10 magazines to get to free up Connor. Need lots more to free up Kevin. Not even close to starting level 3.
I must admit maybe I don’t work on it as much as I used to. But I am still, what appears to be, way behind.

This whole event feels like the premium player gets the worst end of the stick. My humma is at a high lvl that it’s really hard go up every level now. The quest for snowflakes reward require me to destroy 2 of the town but it ain’t happen anytime soon. Now if I was a lower level then it would be a breeze so I feel like we are being punish for spending clams and getting ahead. Sorry if this is on the wrong post I just got carried away but my real question is do u know any quick way to destroy town quicker bunny?

I also, have this issue and was coming to look for help. In Santas Little Helper part 2 you have to defeat Santa’s Village 2 x, but I am level 10 for my hummer. It takes 22 objects to upgrade to the next level. Even with all 3 people I only get 1 or 2 objects. I’ve been trying to upgrade for days. Tinyco just gave me a generic message thanking me for feedback indtead of helping me with what to do. I don’t have clams to use to upgrade faster. Is this just a grind it out and suck it up or is there something else that I am missing? Do I need to finish this quest to progress?

No. In the post I linked to other players… I specifically point out this is an OPTIONAL side questline. Nothing more. No reason to do it if you can’t or do not want to…. so no reason to stress or worry over it. 😉

Take your sweet time with that quest because the next part is to have your hummer and the hover thing fully upgraded to level 15. In that case the premium players will be much closer to that goal. This one will take quite a while so don’t worry about the quest right before it

Is anyone else having trouble with the leader board loading? For a few days now it’s been showing “loading” but never actually loads anything. In collective it shows the progress bar which seems to be working, but the total medal count shows blank.

Encampment of Misfit Toys stopped awarding wreaths after reaching level 20, but the max for the hovercraft is level 22. I’ve done two defeats without getting any wreaths. That means when the encampment buildings level up the next time, I’ll have to use clams to level up the hovercraft to defeat the encampment.

Hey I have an issue. I bought the tent building (the one that drops the Purple Hearts). Right as I was placing it I got a phone call. Now it says I got it, but it’s not in my inventory and it’s not placed. I tried exiting the app and force closing it. Anything else to try?

Try a complete Inventory scan. Sometimes they hide in the middle of other random items. So use the “ALL” tab and go slowly to see if you can locate it.

Got it, I was looking in the shopping cart and it wasn’t there cause there is no tabs for the North Pole. I found it buy going into the edit mode and clicking the storage button. I am relieved. Thanks for the help.

Almost have Snake Plissken unlocked. The Escape Plans dropped for me pretty fast. Just need to get the Elf housing to drop the 2 guns and he will be unlocked. I am going to pass on the Christmas Tree Fort not worth saving up 1200 presents for it.

After playing through several events, I have noticed a few things that tend to slow the overall ability to make progress. In order to help other players that feel like they simply cannot get ahead, I would offer these pieces of advice (especially if you are a free player)…
1. Skip all the “hard” items in the HQ (Lyle, Skynet) – these just gobble up precious Presents that could be used to make progress otherwise. The 900 Presents needed to buy the Skynet Complex would be better spent on getting the first 3 items in Phase 3.
I made this mistake with Slasher Cat, and ended up having a ton of Silver Bullets that never got used. I was always a day or two behind after that, and I am pretty sure that this was the cause.
2. Skip the Weekly Challenges – these usually tend to involve characters that are crucial to making progress, and only serve as a distraction (especially if you are a free player). Plus, the “prizes” on these are merely decos – so they just take up valuable space and earn nothing. I know these are tempting, but ultimately not worth the trouble.
3. Focus on the main questline – not completing this can bring your progress to a grinding halt. Most of the new character/skin questlines tend to remain after the event is over, so skip these for now. They are a strain on limited resources (the same handful of characters that are used over and over for everything), and will only slow you down.
I know that there is usually a lot going on in these events, and things can get pretty hectic – particularly when items are on a timer. Just relax, stay focused on the primary objectives, and progress becomes inevitable…

Both. I finally got my first response after I posted but all they told me to do was what I had said I already tried.
It’s sad cuz I had to store my entire town that I’ve been building for 2 years so all that hard work was wasted and it still doesn’t work. This event is a total loss for me I lost my town and have no chance at the leaderboards now as I’ve lost well over 4000 spots and won’t be able to make that up.

Just watched the episode where God borrowed his roommates, Chuggs, lighter to fart out the universe. Season 4 I think. Good stuff.
I’m doing this one one entirely freemium. I just unlocked the first building of phase 3, but I’m still working on Kevin.
This event is a thousand times better than halloween. Instead of just grinding I get to strategise. This is fun. I look forward to my next login.
Also, the more time I spend reading comments on here or wherever, the more I realise how hard what u do is.

I accidentally unlocked a district when I placed the peppermint candy mine field. I haven’t spent any clams and I’m in the process of unlocking Sarah and trying to get the next items because I really want to get Kevin.
I also noticed that the Smiths are once again showing in FaceSpace(!!!!!) I’m crossing my fingers that it means we will see an event with them soon. We asked for Cleveland’s family and also Kevin Swanson in our games, and look….

Is there anyone playing strictly freemium (no prototypes purchased and no clam rushing) that was able to start Week Three content with the launch of it? I spent the time to get Lyle because I thought he was valuable to have for battles and it put me “behind” a couple of days. I just got Sarah and placed Kevin’s tent this morning. I am hoping to start Week Three content this afternoon and start getting presents all over again to get to Snake in the HQ. The dog tags are rough because I would rather Bruce and Bonnie collecting egg nog and cider so I can contest battles.
I see these people who have all these presents stashed and wondering if any are freemiums and have figured out a better mousetrap than the one I built.

I’m freemium and the week 3 content just came up for me just now (meaning I got the page of prizes to show; I had been able to see the district and place the hangar but am still unlocking Kevin so no driver and can’t attack anything there). So I’m a few days behind? (What week is this? What day is this? What’s my name? Where am I? Sorry, deadlines and sleep deprivation….) I got to place Snake’s tent right away because I had several hundred presents saved up.
I just unlocked Sarah yesterday. Still need a few dog tags and one antidepressant for Kevin, plus now everything for Snake. The big problem is trying to get fuel while also getting through the quest line or unlocking people since the same characters have multiple tasks.
Lyle was worth the wait but I have no intention of getting the other last-on-the page timed items. I only had saved up about 600 presents even being a few days past launch of Week 3 anyway and the one for week 2 cost 900 presents. Those are really for premium players past Lyle, I think. They aren’t really useful. Lyle helps with hummer battles and is a character. I didn’t need the drops by the time I got to the one for week 2.

So went to bed last night and needed 2 magazines left to unlock Sara….woke up this morning and was only on 9 of 26 instead of 24 of 26. Anyone else have this problem???? Needless to say have lost some interest now and will be hard pressed to get through phase three. Have no interest in using clams since they are taking things away 😦

The same thing happened to me. I had 23 last night. This morning I collected some from Quagmire, then checked Sara Conner and only had 10. I’m not loving this Christmas event already, this certainly doesn’t help.

Wow just started week 2, I play every 4 hours expect when asleep and only at 90 medals and 1000 jingle bells. I have no clue how someone has over 400 medals… I assume the next phases have higher payouts, i upgraded humv to level 8 and had both santa and peter cameo (took while), send to village every 4 hours.

I’m freemium, just started on unlocking Sarah. Did not get Lyle, have no presents, struggling to unlock everything in tent, cups dropping very infrequently, doubt I’ll even unlock phase 3 before game ends. That’s where I am and I play a lot, including when I wake at night to go to the bathroom. …..

Having the same issue… I’m on roughly every 4 to 4 1/2 hours… I am constantly battling and upgrading as much as possible… I too am just unlocking Sarah, and can only hope I can start act 3 before time runs out. Feel like im doing something wrong, or they’re just trying to make sure us freemium players are slowed way down. I have not been able to finish an event since I began playing the game almost a year ago.

I can see the third district with the fake trees but am on Pt 5, just starting unlocking process for Sarah, so it will be ages before I can do anything there. Santa, Lyle, and Peter will have to fulfill all my destructive urges in the first two districts for now. Meanwhile – I discovered the train tracks as my new toy! They not only bend when oriented right, a little switch appears by the track when you split the path. If only the engine could actually move on the track…. Now I have something to buy with all those silver bells besides war toys.

Thank you so much for pointing that out about the tracks! I tried to get them to curve, but apparently placed them incorrectly! I tried again, and now they are doing it. They may be train tracks for now, but I foresee them as being the boardwalk at my beach resort! *chuckle* And I agree about being happy to see a deco that is not a holiday based weapon! I always like when they have some sort of deco that you can use as a path or divider between the various neighborhoods.

I have pretty much caught up it seems, after having been locked out due to the TimeBlimpBox2 bug for the whole first week. Spent the clams I got from TinyCo (300) and those from the event Clam offer on the first two prototypes, that really helped.
Working to unlock Kevin at the moment, placed the first two buildings from Santas HQ.

I have just obtained every item from week 3 (so far) and am still sitting on over 2,000 presents. Simply purchasing 2 of each of the premium Protypes each week and upgrading the battle arenas (and doing the battles) really pays off. I have found this Christmas event to be great so far and much easier than some of the previous events, I am loving that. Also, did one of the characters in the game (Snake) just happen to mention “surfing”? 😉

Need your opinion. Do you think Skynet is worth buying or should I just keep the 900 presents and use them towards week 3 items. I just placed The building for Kevin Swanson, but haven’t unlocked him because I waited until I got enough presents for him and Skynet. So they only use I can see for Skynet is so I could use the items from it to help unlock him. I’m just afraid I’ll get behind if I buy Skynet. What do you think?

Horrible. Like I said and still sticking with. I know, wait to see the following week; but no. I don’t care about the amount that comes out, it’s what’s required and how much of that drops. I can’t be on this game all the time. I have so many finals for college. As I said, it’s a total disaterous repeat of Halloween.
Suggestions and/or tips for fellow players?
Have Chris, Bruce, Bonnie, and Lois do what they need to do to get more items to send whomever on missions. Don’t waste your time will the hard to get items. It’s not worth falling behind a day or two, because then it becomes impossible and might as well call it game over. This is not a rant, it’s personal experience from the past Mafia and Halloween events.

Yah I’ve had Chris jumping in front of the Griffin House where the ads usually pop up. I remember this happening back when they first started experimenting with Carl and the ads for clams.

I recently saw Joe waving his hand enthusiastically from close to the top of the high school when he was supposed to be buying Christmas presents in a shop located a block away…. By the time he finished the task, he was back in the shop and did the hand waving thing as he came out of it. Christmas magic.

Hi Bunny! (Hope you’re better, by the way!) Question for you (and readers) I currently have 822 presents and time left on my Skynet countdown. I have Sarah Connor but am still working on Kevin – oh, and I can see the new content despite not being past Elf Empire part 7. My question is, do you think I should get Skynet once I hit 900 presents (expected before the timer ends) or let that timer lapse to use these presents on week 3 stuff in Santa’s HQ? Does Skynet seem to be useful after Kevin is earned? Last week I saved for the final/timed first week item instead of using my hoard on week 2 stuff, but I’m not sure that’s the best plan. I’d love to hear your input, please. Thanks!!

I skipped it. I thought it was easy enough to get Sarah and Keven without it so as soon as I could get the 5th prize I did and then just hoarded presents for week 3 so when it went live I was able to immediately get the first 4 of them and get started on Snake’s stuff as soon as possible.

Collected all items from depot and got stewie’s costume. I am currently working on snake plisskin and still have 14000 presents left so I should be in good shape for the last 2 weeks.

If they’re not lying, they’re dumping too much money into this event or cheating. There’s a suprisingly large number of cheaters on here…something I believe the leaderboards only lend themselves too but in the end it only hurts the community. Why is Stewie’s skin 280 clams when a full character (T-600) was less priced? They have to make some kind of money off the event. The cheaters are also giving a false sense as to where everyone is at in the game, as 5 hours in and they’re already through half a week of content. For Bunny I see reason. She’s running the quasi-official blog for this game, and as an ambassador, has certain expectations to be met. Everyone else speeding through the content misses the point of the game. The gameplay itself. Maybe TinyCo wouldn’t have to make things so difficult on the rest of us if those who rush it would clam up (pun intended). Just sayin.

More likely just somebody with a high enough entertainment budget to buy lots of clams. No worse than eating at restaurants, going to movies, or shoving quarters into arcade games as previous generations did. Or paying for cable every month….

I’m just before unlocking Sarah on Phase two. I’m playing on a regular basis, so I’m guessing that even though I’m “behind” this is right on time for us who are not spending loads of clams. I did get the elf and the terminator, because they entertained me.
I’m a little disappointed, but not surprised given how bad the halloween event went. Honestly think I’d still be on phase one had I not already had Santa from last year’s event.

Santa wasn’t that bad. IIRC he only needed low numbers of 2 common and 1 uncommon drop items that dropped from pretty short tasks.

I had Santa from last year and am still working on unlocking Camo Peter. Not playing as regular as I have in the past. Still at least 2 or 3 times a day, but the pace of this event is going really slow for freemium players. After Halloween and Mobster Events I have given this game a “rest” and am not spending as much time or any more Clams on it.

280 clams for a skin is outrageous! It looks cute, I would pay maybe 100 clams tops – in game feedback time…

Having to wait patiently to start phase 3 properly, as if course I sent Peter out in the hovercraft thinking the update would be late 😛 glad to see these battles are only 3 hrs, was getting bored of waiting 6 lol. Got about 800 presents ready to start (skipped skynet) so should be able to start collecting for snake straight away 🙂

I seem stuck, any suggestions or something I have missed? I used clams to beat Santa’s Village for Santa’s Little Helper Pt. 2 and now I have noticed that even with Peter, Lyle, and Santa it says I can destroy 0/3 buildings with NO items to win. So I assume that means I again must level up my Holiday Humma. Problem is the only way to do so is to get Lights which needs winning from Santa’s Village. Which if I were to send characters would result in nothing won. Only way to level up the Holiday Humma at this point is clams. Should I be locked out of being able to continue to win at Santa’s Village or is this something I should write TinyCo about?

Do you know how much the Xmas tree fort is? I had enough presents to purchase all the other prizes but I don’t want to tap on it again in case I don’t have enough presents left to get it. I don’t want the timer to start. Thank you.

If you don’t spend clams in this game you get nowhere, I’m already feeling this event is a daily grind (playing as much as life allows) and I’m not much further along than you.
