First up, the Basic Requirements…
- Players will need to have reached Honor Point Level 4 and complete Once Upon a Time Pt. 9
- Players will need to be on Version 1.19.0 in the App Markets, so if you are not… go download it (or wait til it hits your market)
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s completed
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version, not Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. So if you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some there to make room.

MORT TROLLS: These guys start appearing with the start of the New Questline and wander your town. They do not stick to streets, so hopefully some corralling might help. Otherwise once you get some Flash Bang, tap on one of the Mort Trolls and Target it so it is walking into the center, then Fire the Flash Bang.
Still messing around with this to see how many I can take out with 1 Flash Bang. Will update later.
Just like some of the “Targeting” in the past, you CAN take out multiple Mort Trolls with one hit, they just need to be in those cross hairs of the Target when you launch the Flash Bang. Also much like the past, tapping on them will temporarily stop them and can also change their direction, so with some manipulation you can get more to one area before dropping a Flash Bang on them.

For the Dragons, I am seeing that they now also drop Dragon Boogers too. This did not appear until I defeated the one that was currently there and have a new one arrive (paid Clams to fast track this). If you do not see the Dragon Boogers just yet, wait. The NEXT Dragon will most likely show them in place of where the Princess Hats are. FYI, Princess Hats even though not showing DID still drop… so I got 4 Materials total for Payout.

If you HAVE placed Chris the Giant, see his Material Bubbles, then a Brand New Dragon shows up AFTER doing that but still no Dragon Boogers dropping from the Battles… message TinyCo.

Hi bunny I just got the Black Dragon!!!!! It didn’t show the amount on princess hats because the reward screen is not big enough but I completed princess Lois hats and princess butter cup hats so over 300 hats in total!!!!!

This event is even more lol than Star Trek. I’ve started getting arrows but even with Peter in training 24/7 the past few days, I’ve only gotten one pack of swords. So still no Sir Peter.
Oh well, for some reason, I’ve been able to get 10 free clams a day from watching ads. Have they upped that recently? It used to be 6.

I let them pile up in my game and I have about 8 now roaming. I believe they appeared around 3 or 4 at a time if not more when they started. They just wander EVERYWHERE in your game. To every nook, cranny, and corner.

Mine have been showing up two at a time… Can’t say for certain how often they show up but I’ve only gotten four since the morning so my guess would be two every six hours or so.

Do the Dragon Boogers only drop with the Blue dragon? I let my previous dragon expire since you mentioned that only the new dragon would drop boogers. I got a new dragon, but it is a White dragon and it is still dropping only scales and hats. After 3 tries with the new dragon I still have zero boogers. So do I just need to let this one expire too and wait and hope for a blue dragon? I don’t want to keep wasting potions on battling dragons if it won’t drop the boogers since I no longer need scales. Thanks!

Same issue for me, was so happy to finally get a White Dragon after 5 Blue ones in a row, defeated it 4 times and no Boogers, I’ve reported it to TC will see what they say.

I messaged Tinyco because I too waited for a new dragon. They said they checked my game and drops were set as expected. Then they said keep trying and they would show up eventually. Needless to say, not very helpful.

That is because it varies on YOUR play. It is hard to give an exact. They just randomly come back starting between 12-27+ hrs.

Same here a brand new dragon at {24 hours, 55 minutes} and I hit him 3 times no dragon boogers in the pay out;( {he was white}, and I placed/ built the big & tall giant Chris store yesterday.

I have an idea about the “singing swords” that might help others understand why it’s been so frustrating (I got my first 5 swords after about 5 attempts and after close to 10 additional attempts I’m still striking out).
Remember a while back when TinyCo adjusted the drop rate logic to “increase the chances of a drop as you make more attempts”? For those that don’t remember, I believe the old logic was something like “if a ‘Rare’ drop probability is 1 in 10 chance, every attempt has an equally 1 in 5 chance” so your odds of getting a drop remained the same, every time you made an attempt. They then updated the logic so that each unsuccessful attempt increased the odds of a drop on the next attempt(s) (i.e. you might start out at a 1 in 10 chance, but after 5 failed attempts the odds might reduce to 1 in 3).
Well- my theory is that, whether accidentally or intentionally, TinyCo may have programmed the outcome of the archery sessions using the old logic. That is why some are getting the 10 swords much sooner than others (without spending clams). Again- this is just a theory, but I’m a computer professional by trade and when you compare the drop rate and patterns of the arrows (which is also “Rare”) with that of the singing swords, it makes sense that the same logic is definitely not being employed. I wonder if (again, accidentally or purposely), nearly all of the game play drop logic is divided in that manner- character actions use the new log, but “event” quests, training, etc. is still based on the old logic.

I just saw Big Bad Wolf Brian in one of the quest dialogues, so I’m super stoked for that. Doubt he’ll be available this week, but I’m betting next week he’s the Sir Peter/Chris character, the one you get with beans. Again, just speculation, but he was definitely in dialogue cutscenes following a quest. I think part 5 of the main one. (And to totally go speculative, I’m betting Inigo for the clam char.)

I contacted TinyCo about the Sword drop problem last night and just got a reply. They stated they put in a patch to fix the Sword drops. I already had Peter doing Archery Practice before I went to sleep and finally got those last 5 Swords just now, so it looks like its working.

Defeated dragon yesterday. Brand new one just showed up (first one of phase 2). When defeating it no boogers dropped. Checked the total under Chris The Giant and still shows 0/25. Any ideas? Don’t want to keep attacking if this a glitch.

Will there be a full post on fighting the Dragons? Until then, can someone answer this? I was fighting the Blue Dragon, and only got to the second level, as the third needed 8 Lightning Potions… Certainly would have taken more than the remaining hours available to collect that, with only Sir Peter. So what Dragon will return, and at what level? Will it be Blue, back at level 1, or level 3, or White at level 1 or level 2? (I only beat White Dragon once, previously.)

Yes… wanted to see how it changed in Phase 2 before finishing it up… but most info is in the posts for week 1 & 2 already.
If you let a Dragon die out because you can’t defeat them… they will go away, give you the Clam option to revive them at the same Dragon and same level you left them, then reset to a New Dragon.
Anytime a Dragon resets, they start at Level 1 and New. It is ONLY if you pay those Clams to revive them where you left off that they do not change.

I’m still trying to get singing swords to get Peter, but in the mean time my Honor Point Level is maxed out for level 2, but it won’t progress to level 3. Do I need to have Peter first or slay a dragon (which I can’t do without Peter) to get to level 3?

You just have to keep collecting and sending Players on tasks that help collect HP. Also complete the Buildings in the Bazaar to help and maybe even get some decorations.

I paid 40 clams to refresh the dragon after I beat it in 4 consecutive attacks. It came back – I attacked it once – yes, once – and it disappeared! And it wasn’t a 5th attack like you said above it only cost me 1 Earth potion! Now the screen shows me what I need to do for the 2nd attack of the new dragon but because the dragon isn’t there the FIGHT button is greyed out and there’s instead a 24 hour timer!
Also – not one dragon booger was given to me! At all! Very sad because I feel like I wasted 40 clams for nothing more than 1 attack which gave a couple of hats which I don’t even really need, I wanted to get the boogers to unlock giant Chris 😦 😦 😦
Am I misunderstanding something? I thought the whole point of the spending 40 clams was to give you a whole new dragon to beat? 😦

They don’t follow roads so that won’t matter. It’s more moving things to direct them to a specific path. Like making a maze in the middle of where they are walking.

Started the event early, collected enough for Sir Peter, slaying dragons, worked through the main quest line, and STILL didn’t get to level four to start the new content. Are spending precious beans on decorations the only way to get to the next honor point level? I want to have enough magic beans ready for Westley, Chris’ building and the bazaar items not purchase things that are just going to sit in storage.

That’s what I thought. Not going to waste magic beans on wasteful decos at this point in the event when I will have a ton at the end of the event to use. Just keep working at it and hope to get to the next level. Was hoping we might get one event where you could maneuver easily into the next phase. This should have been that way since only acquiring Peter was involved. There just wasn’t enough in the game to get freemium people to a fourth level. This is not a mistake any more; it is the direction of the game.

My rambles … I sadly stopped playing this game during the last hollowed event because of stabilization issues (and I got Jesus if that lets yout know how much i was playing) … decided to try to get back into the game around valentine’s day and was happy to see I could play star trek again and didn’t seem to have the stabilization issues I had before and things seemed to drop at a decent rate … Now this event … can’t get a sword to drop to save my life with means I can’t seem to go anywhere in the game … bored, bored, bored … guess I just need to start concentrating on getting my casino chips and relax at the slots …at least that will give me something to do …

I’m really lagging behind on this event. I can’t get any swords to unlock sir peter. I keep collecting arrows and practicing archery which is the only way i see to get them. But so far, 0 have dropped, even though it looks like there is a ‘high’ chance of getting from doing the archery. Same with the golden eggs – but I finally got a couple to drop from archery, but got only beans the first 3 times I did that. Also have no idea how to get any potions to fight a dragon. I’m just really confused because it seems like I need all these ‘things’ to unlock & progress but there’s not a way to get them. How do I get the swords to unlock sir peter, the dragon scales to unlock Wesley, & the potions to fight the dragon? I’m just not seeing where these come from. Makes me feel really dumb….

Don’t fret many are where you are. Once you get Sir Peter, he’ll help you get Potions. Potions help Battle Dragons. Dragons help get Dragon Scales. Hang in there. Hopefully drops for swords in the Archery will improve soon.

Is anyone else struggling to get swords for sir Peter? I have everything else needed to unlock, but since the start of the event I have had 0 swords drop from practising archery. I am so far behind already because of this. I don’t want to spend 120 clams on unlocking him when I’ve spent so much time trying to win swords from archery. Sooo frustrating!

I still can’t earn Dragon Boogers, I had a dragon I was still battling when the new phase hit but I only had to hit him one more time to defeat him which I did, a new dragon just appeared in my game this morning and it still dosent drop Dragon Boogers, is this a glitch and should I send them an in game message about this?

Like post said… it may not appear to change but see what drops on battle. Mine replaced the hat icon, but hats still dropped. You may still see the hat icon, but have Boogers drop too. Just zoom in on the payout and watch as it collects to see if you get them. Also check Chris the Giant to see if two or more added after a brand new battle with a brand new dragon.

Bunny, I had the same thing happen. I just had my second dragon fight since I entered phase 2, and there was no option for getting boogers, just hats. I am not too worried at this point, since it appears you only need one round of fights to get all the boogers you need, but still…

Same thing happened with me. Attached him once to make sure but still 0/25 on the dragon boogers. This dragon just spawned for me a few hours ago after I had entered phase 2

Same is happening to me. Interesting aside though, only the white dragon appears in my game. Blue is a no show despite beating white completely several times.

Same here except I was waiting for my Dragon to come back. after defeating him (when he came bk) I still didn’t get any dragon boggers. I checked Chris and I still don’t have any towards his outfit. I messaged Tinyco. (Waiting 2 hear back)

For those of us who just got to level 3 when week 2 hit, 45 bunts and 3 toad stools got me from level 3 to level 4. Spend the beans if you have them.

For those needing to get to level 4 honour, I recommend buying a lot of Charming Bunts. They give 5 honour each for 25 beans. They do stop giving honour after so purchases though. Not sure how many exactly, maybe 25 or so? The toadstool patches can hopefully get you the rest of the way there though at 2 honour each.

Did they stop? Or was some in storage?
I only ask as the game is built to pull an item from storage, like Decorations, before buying more. It’s to prevent you from getting charged for items you already have.
So just make sure all are out of storage, then buy more, then store what you don’t want out.

Great but now I ran out of beans and still need a few more honours to get to Level 4… And of course I still need 2k beans for the black knight guy. Gonna be a loooong game for me. Ah well at least I already got Sir Peter and all buildings from the first bazaar screen, my archery training seems to drop better than others from the looks of it 😉

Beans will be easily replenished after a few goes at the dragon so stock up on potions.

Addressing any moderators (I don’t know all of you), can you possibly make a list of all characters that also drop Magic Beans?
Just found out that Tom Tucker drops Magic Beans with a one-day action, so not sure how many others can drops beans with actions, aside from Herbert, Jerome, Bruce, Mort, and Quagmire (all event characters can drop beans as well).

Had anyone elf had an issue eith the flash bangs? I aim mine press fire then it seems to zoom right in and sit there for 20-30 seconds before actually firing so of course I hit nothing, the game isn’t freezing because everything else keeps moving.

Mine fired right away. May want to try a lil troubleshooting to see if it helps the memory drain.

Second time round it fired ok then did the pause thing again on the third so it seems to be an intermittent problem. No other apps running at the time so shouldn’t be a memory issue.

How full is your town? That’s where it impacts the most. Lots of animation and RAM starts to struggle. This game is really a memory drain, so gotta watch out to see what will help to combat it.

Could be beneficial for Prince Charming’s Castle.. What do you think Bunny, is it possible to get to 25,000 without some extra help? It’s labeled “FRIKKIN’ HARD” for a reason lol I just don’t know hoowww premium it’s gonna be. I can probably get all the eggs no problem.. I’m a little iffy on the beans. I’ve got Westley down to 160 something clams without wasting beans on him, but I want to collect the rest of the buckets and masks. Then I’m going to do the same thing w Chris the Giant. So I don’t know how to project bean counts on this if I do them “freemium”. I’m sure they will have other items labeled “FRIKKIN hard”, and I really love the content of this event.. Just don’t know if I can collect enough green beans without help.. Do you think dragon battles will help? They seem to have decent payouts at the higher tiers, I just need at least Westley unlocked to help w more potions. I can’t get past the third attack w the blue dragon, & for some reason the white one hasn’t come back, I only did the 2nd attack w that one.. Is it supposed to be like that? I figured you’d only move on to blue if you actually defeated the white dragon, which is what, 4 attacks? And now the blue dragon has 5. I just want to reach inside this over-sized phone and strangle that stupid thing! Give me your boogers! And the hats!! Hand over the beans!! Gah!!

The Magic Beans are coming so fast now for me since I have been doing Dragon Battles. Like I noted in my other post, it may say it pays out 120+ Magic Beans… but you actually get more like 1000 or 2000 Magic Beans. So it is a great idea to stock up on a pile of Potions of all kinds and make a good run at the Dragons to hit as high up as you can. Then you will have lots of Beans to use for whatever you want. For Freemiums… I may wait on the Castle just now… but once you get a good pile going, then try for the higher ticket items. 🙂

Beans are so easy to get by killing dragons. There’s absolutely no reason to buy the greenhouses.

Still haven’t unlocked Sir Peter. I need 4 more breast plates, and I play daily. Not even close to earning Westley. I hope with Phase 2 some of these items drop more frequently.

I’m in the same boat. Although I guess I’m lucky that I got Sir Peter pretty quickly, but I still haven’t reached Honor Level 3 yet.
The only things I’ve collected for Westley are from the dragons and the magic beans. I just got the building that drops the true love so I have no clue how quickly I might get any of those, but Quagmire and Chris have been doing their tasks almost non-stop (I periodically switch it to the quickest task to see if that will help but nope) and have dropped NOTHING for three days now. I think instead of “extra rare” that item needs to be changed to “epic”. I’ve sent Joe on his task for the item twice and so far, the same result.

Ditto, and I still haven’t gotten a second drop on the swords (probably well over a dozen training sessions now), so still no Sir Peter, so still no dragon attack, so still not through Pt. 7 of the main questline. As long as I get Westley, I’ll probably be content enough to keep playing, but this is seriously getting infuriating.

Count me in there as well. At least 10 training sessions and not one sword. I seem to only be getting 1 or maybe 2 arrows every four hours. I’ve been playing since the beginning and I’m seriously thinking of deleting the game.

Wow, Honor level 4 to unlock the second phase? I’m only somewhere in Level 2 (unsure exactly where since the meter hasn’t moved all day). It’s a good thing I’m not a huge Princess Bride fan, because this has to be the toughest event yet. I cannot get a good pattern going against the dragon(s). I’ve only gotten more than one hit in before it fled once, and that was only a mere two hits with my usual login every 1-2 hours. I’m thinking it’ll cost less clams to buy the scales than to buy potions, if I even get that option while still in Phase 1, since I’ll eventually get everything else. But man, I hope those wooden pail drop rates are tweaked, because they are just not dropping for me. Thanks for the peek into what I can expect once I get past this nightmare of a phase.

I’m glad Peter can do something now while waiting on arrows. Golden Eggs have been dropping as an always for me. I recommend getting Bazaar Buildings first as they help with items and beans while your characters can be dedicated to other tasks.
On a side note, my quests are clogged because I haven’t unlocked Stewie, and I will never be able to unlock him since the characters have been working on events non-stop.

I’m in exactly the same case…trying to unlock Stewie but don’t want to get behind on the events! I don’t have PB&J Brian or Falconer Peter, add in the 20hr task for blueprints and the 10 extra rare plutonium needed….it’s slow going! But at least I’ve got Sir Peter unlocked and I’m half way to honor level 4!

To be honest… since this game has launched I can’t recall a single Event where Freemiums got it all. Not without a LOT of hard work or some game “glitch”. Freemiums never will get it all, that is impossible. Clams have to be spent at some point to get certain Characters. Premium is what makes games like this be able to afford to keep going, adding new things, getting legal release for items like those in Princess Bride as they do not own the copyrights to any of it. Even Family Guy has to be negotiated and bought from FOX, Seth, and all the legal owners of it all.
I would suggest this, either change your way of gaming and stop focusing on “I have to have it all as a Freemium” or maybe find another game suited better for you. I am not saying this to be cruel or unkind. I am being blunt and honest. This is NOT a simple tap tap tap game. It never has been and never will be. It is a very Challenging, time consuming, and time involved game. If that style does not suit you, then you may run into more upset than you want.
So either just play for sheer enjoyment to see what you do end up with and play for a Challenge or maybe find a simpler game that may suit your style. We always state that you should play a game for FUN. Games are supposed to be FUN. If you are not having FUN, then find something that does give you that enjoyment. 🙂
If you ask many Players on this site, you will find that it wasn’t until the stopped focusing on “I MUST GET IT ALL” that they really started to just sit back and enjoy the game. If they get something, cool. If not, no big deal… see what’s next. That kind of mentality makes games like these much more pleasant. Just my thoughts as a life time gamer and knowing this game since BETA. 🙂

Star Trek I got it all without spending clams. Just had to set the alarm in the night to maximize drops and I had no problem completing everything within the allotted time frame.
No other event has been close to that though.

Including the Premium Clam Characters too? That is more what I am referring too. Each event has some Clam Building/Characters that unless you spend Clams… you will not get. There is always something else left that Freemiums may not be able to get as they have not played long enough to gather “Free Clams” nor have enough earned from play to get more than one item. Make sense? 😉
In short, I try to help people to not have to spend real money unless they WANT to do it. That “I am so far behind” is a trap that many fall into and creates that “The only way out is to spend”. That’s why I try to let player’s know that this game will not be easy. Some kind of work has to go into it. Either Pay for it or Play for it is the mentality I am seeing needed. LOTS of time Playing or LOTS of money Paying. Playing a lot will get you far, but there is work and a challenge to it. It’s not a game you can go in once a day and succeed if that makes sense.

I am playing since the comicon event and since then I managed to get all the freemium stuff, but this event and also the football event are very hard. If think they are making the events more difficult then ever and you need to spend clams even if you just want the free stuff.
If this keeps up I think that I will be quiting this game after all these years.
P.S.: I’m playing virtually non stop and I couldn’t even unlock Sir Peter yet !!!

Please also recall that while some of these Freemium characters might be difficult now, there’s a very good chance you’ll get a second crack at it by end of the year. Tinyco did this with the last two years’ worth of events and I was able to snag some characters rather easily. Guess what they do now? Occupy my inventory. So, I have to agree with Bunny, play for the fun of it. If you have an issue with not getting everything, then you either have to go Premium and be comfortable with it, or just recognize that the ever growing challenge is actually kind of fun. I use the latter as my mentality and I must say, I’ve never once stressed over a Family Guy game made for my phone. It’s cool to have everyone roaming your town, but depending on what events you participate in, you may find yourself storing many characters just to make life easier.
Anyway, that’s just my two cents….or really long unnecessary paragraph.

I agree. I was always able to get all the freemium stuff, but the last time that happened was the first Star Trek event. Since then, I’ve barely been able to get past the halfway point. Lately it’s even hard to get past week one.

Week one I’m always behind, which screws up the whole event. Sucks! Agree, it never used to be this way, but for the past 6 or more months / events (excluding Star Trek), the first week is too dang killer. When Thursday of week 2 comes along, I can never jump in like I used to!

The Great Castle In The sky says it always drops the bonemeal bread, but I’ve bought it and when you click on the building there’s no item listed in the popup box. Just displays beans and honour points.
Any chance it’s just a display error? Really want to get Giant Chris! Plus he makes potions right? 4 people making potions should help a lot.

I’m getting the extremely similar vibe I got from the football event with this one. Phase 2 is out for those at level 4+, and I’m at like 2.5 with neither Westley or Sir Peter unlocked (thanks so much freaking singing swords which are pretty much ‘super epic’ for me…). Thus far every archery practice Peter’s gone on has yielded a golden egg and beans, and this morning he dropped the fire swamp.

This sucks because I can’t even start trying to wrestle yet for sapphire eggs. Westley will follow if I can just get the swords so Bonnie and Lois don’t have to keep working for arrows!

If you are fully into Phase 2 (Twice Upon a Time Questline started), and don’t see the Flash Bang icon in the lower right… try some basic troubleshooting and contact TinyCo if that doesn’t work.

Hey dude, if you have spare beans then buy a load of those Charming buntings. They give 5 honor points each. Very quick way to level up.

That’s brilliant! I was stuck about at about 2.7, then spent about 1700 beans on buntings and now I’m just over 4 and can keep moving on!! I know it’s a lot of beans but figure I can earn that back quick with dragons and apply it to getting Westly later since he’s taking awhile to unlock. Great tip!!!
