Boomsday Phase 3 Is Here!

Hey there Raptured Friends!

Some REALLY cool things are dropping now into our game. One Character in particular I know myself as well as many others REALLY wanted in the game for a long time now. EEEEE!!!

What all new madness, Characters, and crazies will this Phase bring? Take a look below once I update it all!

EVENT WILL END THURSDAY MAY 5TH, 2016 @10AM PACIFIC

Mutant Human Rupert

First up, the Basics

  • Players will need to Fortify your Gates and complete Peterpocalypse Again Part 9 in order for Phase 2 to launch.
  • Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s completed
  • Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
  • PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
  • Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incompleted Tasks already on your List to make room for more

Back with more in a bit.

For more information on the Event, go to the Event Page HERE.

CHARACTERS

TIMER WARNING!!! Ollie WILL be timed. Same as Commander Jesus, he will be found in the Event Area. AVOID HIM UNTIL YOU’RE READY! ANYTHING taking you to him will start his 7 DAY TIMER. Give yourself enough time to collect a few needed things before getting to him. More details to come, just wanted to give a heads up on him.

He is located on the metal slab right next to Commander Jesus in the sludgy water. He will be waving at you and a LOCK icon next to him. Tapping the Lock Icon is just one way to trigger him. FYI, Part 5 of Boom & Doom does tell you to Discover him and will start his timer.

Ollie: I do not have him unlocked yet, and will not for a bit… but just tapping on him I do not hear a voice yet.

DECORATIONS

Barbed Fence: 7 Toilet PaperToilet Paper

POWERPLANT GATE

Power Plant Gates

Tapping on the Gates will tell you how often your “bad guy” will spawn, like the Mutant Goldfish. It will also tell you when the next Upgrade for the Event (Phase 4) will hit along with how many Crisis Level Points you will need to access the content.

Phase 4 right now will require you to hit Crisis Level 11

BONNIE & MOTORCYCLE MUTANTS

Much like Chris being infected and needing cured, now Bonnie will be involved in the Event Action.

Right when you get into the new Main Questline for Phase 3, Boom & Doom Pt. 1, Bonnie can begin to get chased by the Motorcycle Mutants.

Just like Chris, if she is on a Task it will still keep timing down. She will however need to be saved from the Motorcycle Mutants in order to collect her Payout for her Task.

Only Imperator Lois can help her, so work on getting her into your game to help Bonnie.

RADIATION SICKNESS CHRIS

Chris Radiation Sickness

Chris will now have multiple Payouts when you cure him.

+18 Water BottleWater Bottles
AND
+ Gas CanGasoline (still verifying the drop as I have to wait for him to get sick again) Per TinyCo, this was in error. He will NOT drop them.

NEUTRALIZATION STATION

Neutralization Station

You will find this on the Left Side of the Event Area. It looks like a wrecked airplane. Much like previous Events, here will be where you create an item to help you out in the Event. Each item will require specific Materials and time to create it. Once created, you can use it once.

There will be a CAPACITY (how many TOTAL you can have in Queue and complete in your game). My Game Capacity started with 8. You can increase it if you want +4 by spending Clams on Armageddon Stan’s Trailer.

There will be a QUEUE (the MAX amount of items you can craft at a time). My Game Queue was 6 items total can be crafted at a time, up to Capacity.

The NEW Item added to the Neutralization Station is a Roach Zapper. These will be used to take out Bad Roaches.

Roach Zapper: Requires 1 Lightbulb & 1hr 30mins to create

Lightbulb: Armageddon Stan Look Sharp OR Apocalypse Peter Drive on the Wrong Side of the Road OR Bonnie Build a Pillow Fort OR The Diner at the End of the Apocalypse OR Electric Boogie OR Mutant Meg Make Mutant Friends Leave a Slime Trail

BAD ROACHES

Bad Roaches

These will start appearing during Boom & Doom Pt. 2.  They will require TWO Roach Darts to clear them. I see 3 appear right away.

Same as the Mutants, watch the Kill Zone. Make sure they are PURPLE in color and walking into the Kill Zone Circle before tapping to fire the Roach Zapper.

Also, due to you need to hit them TWICE, watch their Heart Level. They start at 100 so if you see 100, they have not been hit. If you see 50 on their Heart Meter when you tap on them, they just need one more hit.

Be careful as well that another Roach doesn’t walk into the circle and turn Purple instead while you are placing the Roach Zapper to fire at a different one.

Payout: Chance of +15 Gas CanGasoline (I got +15 from all 3 I cleared)

TWINKLY TRADING POST

Twinkly Trading Post

You will find this on the Left Side of the Event Area. It looks like a thrown together Building with lots of “Twinklies” outside. Here is where you can Trade Event Materials collected for the Event Currency Twinkles. Twinkles will be used to purchase items at the Stockpile Tanker. This will be your main source of Twinklies.

Here are the Exchange Options I saw in My Game in Phase 3 (they randomly appeared in no particular order). Yours will vary, but feel free to comment yours below:

STOCKPILE TANKER

Stockpile Tanker

You will find this on the Right Side of the Event Area. Here is where Buildings/Decorations for the Event can be purchased with Twinkles. Prizes here will have to be unlocked in order. In other words to get to the LAST item, all the items in front of it have to be purchased first.

FYI- Per TinyCo, the “CHANCE” drops mean they can drop 0 OR 1 OR 2 of that item. Just keep that in mind. They are NOT guaranteed drops.

Here are the new items in the Stockpile Tanker for Phase 3

Proceed with caution and take your time getting the items you need before triggering his timer if you want the Battle Tested Roller Chicks. Remember, these timed items are optional. There you have the Basics of Phase 3. Still working on some items and will update them, but this should be enough to get you started.

Are you to Phase 3 yet? If not, what part of the Questline are you on? What else is preventing it? Any of the new items you are most excited to get? Let us know.

  1. Is it possible to remain in Phase 2 and exchange twinkles for new objects of Stockpile Tanker?
I mean, if I don’t tape on Powerplant Gate, I will remain in Phase 3, even if I tape Stockpile tanker after gettin Stan?

    Thanks!

When do the buildings start dropping umbrellas? Can u start collecting stuff for Ollie before you trigger the timer? Because I’ve had the water tower that drops umbrellas since Thursday, as well as the rekt Capitol for Peter and nothing has dropped yet.

  5. I would like it if you had the option of unanimating the walking decorations. When I unlocked the apocalyptic car it looked really cool, but as I only have a tiny strip of road its in the way of all the stuff I’m shooting so it’s in storage with the pumpkin coach and monster truck it would look really good parked next to the apocolyptical house. I bought the mall for toilet paper because I thought it was a limited time event item. Should I message them and ask for my used toilet paper back? Or is that just too gross?

  6. Do you know yet how many twinklies the Human Fort costs? Just curious bc I don’t see the actual number amount listed on the post. :/

  7. What is the best way to collect items, while avoiding to trigger the timer on Ollie?? I don’t really understand how to manage this…

I’m still in phase 2 pt. 8 with Stan already unlocked, so should I make sure to get al the buildings from the phase 3 stockpile tanker, before going to the phase 3 main questline?

    • I did. I stockpiled Twinklies and got as many as I could before getting his trigger started

      • Well, let’s have a try then… 🙂
Unlocking Ollie must be possible without spending too much clams before the event ends…
I only hope that Roger isn’t the surprise of phase 4, like commander Jesus and now Ollie…
That would be impossible to reach I’m afraid…

    • Some of Ollie’s items drop from buildings we have to get with Twinklies in the tank. But they won’t drop until his timer is triggered, and likewise for anything else, so I figure I’ll have to start him by early Thursday of this week no matter where I am. No benefit to waiting longer than that since we just have another 7 days starting Thursday. Am hoping for the best…. I hope I can get Imperator Lois now that I looked up the word, otherwise I’ll be forever scrambling for gas cans since poor Bonnie can get light bulbs for the bug zappers (which are way too realistic).

Doubt that I’ll ever see phase 4, can’t justify working on Peter’s helmets with other stuff needed for Twinklies and there is no way I’m going to waste precious earned clams on his ugly costume…. Hope there’s nothing wonderful there.

  11. My plan of attack is to stay on Phase 2 and get all Phase 3 items out of the Tanker before moving to it. The reason being I don’t want to change the Twinkly payout options involving Gas. I’m staying with only gets 6 Twinklys. I think the new numbers for getting Twinklys is an awful exchange rate and I don’t like the timely process for getting Gas.

I’ve already ate through all my extra 200+ Water Bottles, so to replenish them I’m having Apoc Stan and Neil work on Helmets while the other 4 stay on Dart duty. That will give me time to keep Bottles.

Right now I have the Queue full to make Launchers for the 6 hours I’m asleep. I have a bunch of Cigarettes in storage, so I should get close to unlocking the third item in the Tanker.

As for how I got access to the Tanker items, I updated the gate, but I didn’t finish the main quest line, which is still at Part 8 needing Apoc Stan.

    • Great idea. Wish I had done the same. Best of luck.

      • The only negative I have is that its blocking me from unlocking Lois. It looks like I’m going to stockpile Cigarettes and Lights with Apoc Stan after I’ve gotten 80% of the Helmets (currently 4/32).

The challenge is going to be unlocking both Lois and Ollie at the same time. I’ve done it before during the original Star trek event where I wasn’t able to play for 10 days and worked 24/7 to catch up. It is crazy, but I finished the event.

        Like

    • I’m behind as well and stockpiling Twinklys before triggering phase 3 as well. How many are you considering saving before starting phase 3? I’ve also delayed fortifying my gate as well so I can probably get part 8 with Stan without triggering phase 3?

  12. I am up to part 3 of the questline for this week. One of the concerns I had mentioned last week was for the very small suppliers of helmets needed for Apocalypse Peter. Now you need him to advance the questline? I have everything needed for him, except for the helmets and I have had both characters (Neil / Stan) working on them for days now. I have actually had Neil working on them since I first unlocked him. Still only have 17/32..

    Like

    • The helmets are a real pain. I don’t want to send Stan for them as they never drop anyway and I need Stan for roach zappers… to get the twinkie prizes so that I have a chance of Ollie (whose timer started without me noticing). So it is either teinkies and maybe OW, or Apocalypse Peter. Both prevent main question progress.

UT I do t have Peters costume yet actually I have 0 helemts since everyone has been working on getting the mutants to go away so I can have my character s back =( now Stan is working on getting the quest line started then I see Bonnie is needed for bug zappers but she is being chased by motorcycle man =( the only way to get he back is to get Lois dang I feel stuck now =( and I was doing so well the first week and 1/2

    • What part of the main quest line are you on? I’m on Part 3 (phase 3) and I keep seeing comments from people on parts 2 and 3 that are having Bonnie be chased by the motorcycle man.. But that hasn’t happened for me at all yet. Been on part 3 since Thursday night. Wondering if it’s just me..

  14. I decided not to move into Phase 3 until I got the skin for Apocalypse Peter – now that I have Stan on helmets this is moving along a bit, and I am getting the buildings for the next phase. However, I just got Jesus, and thought I could get him onto skulls, but he ran right to the Drunken Clam and started Rock the Vote for 9 hours, so not cool. At this point I have 14 of 17 skulls, so it might end up being Chris all the way.

  15. I’ll weigh in on a few things that definitely need tweaking, as folks have pointed out. By this stage TinyCo should add a few ways to collect items for Apocolypse Peter, particularly the helmets.

The gasoline payouts for week 3 are lean, though I did notice they fixed it when Lois rescues Bonnie from mutants now. It used to be one lousy gasoline. I’m not sure how many it gives now but it’s above 5, so happier.
Either the gasoline trade-in deals need to climb down some (I have one right now where I need like 64 cigs and 44 gasoline for a trade), or gasoline has to become easier to acquire.

Personally were I TinyCo I’d add in at least 2 characters with 4 hour timers for the helmets (Jerome and Brian aren’t doing too much), and I’d either shorten the timers for the bug zappers or at the very least, put in one character with a ‘fast’ option to get them… maybe 4 hours as opposed to 8. (Chris or Herbert may be good there.)

They did some clam/cost tweaking this week to make things a little tougher but I do believe they went overboard.Twinklies are much harder to earn and the costs for buildings went up.

    • Based on your comments if someone is stuck in phase 2 it might be easier to stockpile twinkles and not trigger phase two until later. Anyone know the max amount of twlinkies that can be hoarded?

  19. The most important thing that needs to be fixed with this event is Armageddon Peter’s need for 32 rare motorcycle helmets. The fact that only 2 characters can have only a rare chance every 4 hours to get one helmet is probably the worst drop rate for an event that I have seen in my year of playing this game. This absurdly high requirement is exacerbated by the fact that those two characters (Neil and Stan) are absolutely necessary to produce many of the cogs that keep other facets of this event’s production chain begrudgingly moving.

I have already contacted TinyCo and told them to please lower the requirements for the motorcycle helmets. I have recently discovered that Part 3 of Phase 3’s main questline requires Armageddon Peter to advance. I propose that TinyCo re-purpose a building from the last few weeks to start dropping them (like the plane wreck now drops umbrellas needed for Ollie even though that building was from the last phase). TinyCo could also add characters like Connie or Dr. Hartman to the helmet gathering task since they currently are involved in the Boomsday Event as well.

    What do you guys think?!

    • Yes, I don’t see how I can shift Neil from syringes to helmets. I only have three syringe collectors and those are six hour tasks. I had not intended to worry about getting Peter’s outfit, so am disappointed that it will be necessary to advance. Assuming I even have a shot at getting into the last phase (might be a moot point). I need to keep unmutating people! I need the ciggies and what they collect. Now I want all the toilet tissue I can get so I can have all the destroyed building skins (it’s good to have a purpose in life).

I did notice some new things since early this morning: characters are actually staying unmutated after conversion for quite a while, long enough to complete a new task. Stewie eggs are producing more Stewies (six instead of three) and I don’t think that’s because they are stacked. Increasing numbers of loose Stewies scurrying around (not from eggs I’ve cracked) although they tend to be unproductive ciggie-wise. I wonder if their function is to get us leveled up quicker (I’m still in level 7 and don’t have Stan yet), although Bunny’s list no longer indicates a level requirement for phase 3 (it was level 8). The eggs are producing ciggies back to their best level before the slowdown occurred.

Thanks, Bunny, for the Ollie trigger warning (which they still don’t include in the faq… We need to start a petition! Seriously!). I would like to get him if possible.

      Like

      • Gotta admit, despite all our frequent whining and gnashing of teeth, TinyCo is actually the most responsive group of game developers I’ve ever seen. Probably for the same reason they get overwhelmed sometimes prioritizing fixes – they’re small. I get tired of seeing complaints elsewhere that it’s just a “cash grab” and they are just trying to get us to buy clams. The reality is that they need to have loads of happy freemium players because 1) never know where the next big spender is coming from (those whales are really what makes it profitable for them) and happy players spread the word, and 2) the clam TV revenue stream brings in more money if they have more happy freemium players checking in often. So while they certainly do have perks for the clam buyers, there is no economic incentive for them to deliberately keep freemiums from having an enjoyable game experience.

It really helps that you observe and transmit information about problems and how people are feeling directly to TinyCo. That can get their attention faster and many people who may comment here may not report to TinyCo in-game. You’re a regular Jane Goodall, observing all us chimps in the wild!

  22. Just got Stan’s costume this morning, will have Commander Jesus by late tonight when I stay up playing Dark Souls 3, and then I’ll be all set to actually join Phase 3! Hopefully I’ll be able to catch up a bit this phase, on the bright side I’m still earning away on those cigarettes before gas cans are required for twinkies, so I’ve already got the first item in the track and am on the way to the second! Now if only I hadn’t needed Neil to get darts and had him on helmets, I might have more than 3/32 that Armageddon Peter needs…between him and Stan I should be well on my way there in a couple days, but that’ll make catching up a lot harder.

…and I bought the Xenomorph with ad-watching clams, because even if it’s not quite as helpful as it would have been a few days ago, it looks cool and I wanted it.

Thanks again for your helpful posts!

  23. Decisions, decisions… Just reached Crisis Level 8. Do I wait to enter Phase 3 until I’ve stockpiled up enough Twinklies to get me the top three items (30 away), not knowing how long it will be until I can collect more, or do I go ahead and start the Phase…?

      • I think I’m going to stay in Phase 2 long enough to get Imperator Lois’ buildings. I’ve got a consistent Twinklies income from Mutants, and the Stairs have started dropping fairly regularly again, so the 260 Twinklies for that goal probably won’t take me too long. Might stay long enough to get Apocalypse Peter, if he’s needed as early as Phase 3 Part 3. Unlike most, I’m not having a lot of problems with the Helmets. They might as well be Common for the drop rate I’m getting on them (knock on wood) but the Mohawk Wax drop rate is abysmal. I’ve had 5 total over three successful drops (1+2+2) since the building was built. That was two days ago. I’ll have the Twinklies first at this rate.

You mentioned you have enough for Armageddon Stan, but I got the feeling from your phrasing that you haven’t actually gotten him yet. If that isn’t the case, please feel free to ignore the rest of this comment, but if that is the case, I’d advise getting him sooner rather than later. If you’re going for Cmdr Jesus (speaking of people who should get Dart and Lightbulb tasks), you’ll obviously need him, but also the second-to-last task in Phase 2 needs AS to take an 8hr task. Probably worth the loss of a Dart and a third’s worth of time to get that out of the way. You still have to consciously upgrade the gate in order to actually enter the new Phase, so it’s not like it will sneak up on you like some Phases in the past. And if you get everything else out of the way, you can get going right away once you decide to advance. This might be necessary in case you accidentally start Ollie’s clock (or if starts “on its own”).

        Like

      • I did the same thing, and the message from TinyCo was basically “too bad, so sad” What makes it suck is that you need two characters that are not even available yet to complete him! There is no Biker Brian, which I assume will show up on Monday, and you need Lois, which will also take a few days, not to even speak of the buildings that you need to pull! Hope Ollie is not needed for the next phase, cuz I am not seeing it, although I will keep on playing and see what happens! *chuckle*

If not for that, I am enjoying this event more than the last few, with the exception of Princess Bride.

You can try clearing the game cache (NOT data) and see if that helps. Not sure if that’s where TinyCo stores the ad files. If not, contact support.

  26. Anyone else still working on Apocalypse Peter? Thanks to Bunny, I was able to get Commander Jesus, Armageddon Stan, and I used Twinklies for Sidewalk Joe. I used the least amount of Clams that I could after thinking of a few ways to get to my goal. I focused on Cure Darts from Neil to get Twinklies and didn’t work on Motorcycle Helmets for Apocalypse Peter. Below are my stats:

    22/24 Codpieces
    15/17 Ornamental Skulls
    1/32 Motorcycle Helmets
    2/8 Hair Wax

What’s disappointing is that they have an extra rare drop from a building in the Stockpile Tanker towards the end so we don’t have the week to collect. Same thing with Motorcycle Helmets, but for Armageddon Stan. Lesson learned, I should’ve had Neil work on helmets all along.

Just wondering if others are running into the same trouble.

    • Neil and Stan are the only two people to collect helmets and they are two of the four “freemium” people to provide cure darts which are the only way to turn back what is now 10 or more mutants which are all needed to not be mutants so they can do other tasks so you can collect other items. I am hoping to get enough CP by Monday just to start Phase Three even though I have had Stan and completed the quest line since Wednesday. I have given up on in-game messaging that doesn’t get a response just to tell them where their game is flawed. We are into Year Three; they should be able to see these things for themselves.

      • ooh! I think they are seeing all these things for themselves.. and that’s how they want them to be. It is the same as the mobster event, Halloween event, christmas event, every event, and how things work (or not?) in this game.. Yes, it’s annoying and truly irritating, but you can tell by how many times we have told them it is “wrong” and how many times they have responded “it works as intended”, and how now creatures roam outside streets making them more difficult to catch, and how they eliminate ASAP every glitch that helps players, that it is not flawed… “it works as intended”. 😦

        • Use FaceSpace to find specific mutants. Go to the character’s page and then hit the x in the upper right hand corner. It will take you right to them, no matter where they are wandering. You still might need to click on nearby ones to get the one you want, but it makes the search much easier. If they are off the roads now, that’s helpful because it keeps them better separated.

Mutant Stewies are easy to catch – go to the Twinkly Trading Post and tap on the ciggie icon in the lower right area (where it tells you how many you need for the Twinklies). Choose the Stewie icon and it will take you to any stray Stewie. Stewie even helpfully freezes after you hit detonate so the cloud can reach him without him scurrying away. The mutant humans are more troublesome because they don’t easily stop and can move out of the target area if you’re not careful. Make sure they are firmly in the purple-izing zone before triggering the syringe launcher.

          • A much easier way is just to remove all your roads and create a nice 3×3 “Arena” of roadway that all the eggs will form on. When you’re ready to cure Mutants, you just temporarily create a new “arena” a short ways away and the Mutants will walk between them, making individual Mutants simple to pick off. When you’re ready to collect Stewies, you just create a the new “arena” and wipe the old. All the Goldfish and Mutants (plus Radioactive Chris and any characters you have walking the roads) will move to the new area, making it simple to farm the eggs for Stewies without interruption. I do the latter every three hours, doing the former as well every other time (after I collect my Darts), and skipping a Dart run while I sleep (doing double when I wake up). Good thing about a 6hr rotation is that you can do it at roughly the same time each day. Only thing is you have to be pretty vigilant about wiping out any loose Stewies, but if you have a Furniture Store farm you should have more than enough Smoke Bombs to clear the little buggers out and be waiting to kill any who exit the gate as they’re doing so.

No, tearing up your roads doesn’t look pretty, but as with most things, you can have pretty or useful. Not both.

  27. Again accidentally triggered the timer. They really need to stop doing those. I haven’t even started phase three (am on pt 8 of phase 2) and so cannot make any progress on him. Annoying when genuine FG characters are timed liked this, but then I guess he is only a very minor character.

  30. Glad they made Imperator Lois available at part two of weekly quest. Part three involves an action with Apocolypse Peter which, and I’m certain I am not alone here, am nowhere near close to getting because of poor helmet drop rates.

Looks like TC expected folks to have him by now.

TIp for TC: I don’t mind these timer characters or buildings etc, but if they are going to put in more than one then keep them apart. Now i just started week 3 and there is probably no way (based on Commander Jesus) that I’ll have enough time to get Ollie….so frustrating!!!

  33. The rate to earn gas cans is terrible. 8 hours to get a light but I need 2 to clear a roach. 3 hours to make both zappers. Bought Meg but she requires Neil to earn a light. Stan and Apocalypse Peter can also earn lights but I need Stan and Neil to earn helmets for Peter before he can help with lights. Bonnie earns lights but she is busy being chased by motorcycle and I need Imperator Lois to get her back. The only way I can earn lights is from the diner. So it takes 19 hours to clear a roach. Peter said twinkies last forever but at the rate we can get them they will probably expire.

    • It should be 15 minutes to create a Zapper. When it takes a long time to get 1 item the process time should be very short to balance it out.

  34. Something worries me.

To get Armageddon Peter, we need 24 motorcycle helmets which are rare for Stan and Neal, yet at the same time we need Stan for Darts at 6 hrs or for lightbulbs at 8 hrs while Neal is used either for darts also or the helmets or if you have Mutant Meg, for an 8 hrs to get a lightbulb.

So basically if we use both Stan and Neal for darts or lightbulbs which are needed for twinklies, then Peter would get stuck and if we go the other way, we would never get lightbulbs which at the end would mean no more twinklies and thus Inspector Lois would never be available either.

I wish they would have added more options to get the helmets which are also rare drops and more lightbulbs without it only been available for the premium characters

  35. Currently have 42 twinkles towards the Rekt Capitol. Darts have been a major hold up slowing down ciggy collecting, thankful to finally have some more characters there.
This event does seem way harder than usual with what feels like poor conversion rates.
The character skin clam cost doesn’t do it for me either but awesome to have mutant Rupert

    • Look at the list of destroyed building skins that will be available in phase 3 for toilet paper before wasting any to level up, unless you really want a bunch of dead trees and flaming cans more. The TP requirements for the new stuff are pretty steep. I don’t recall those cans making a huge difference in level anyway. It’s probably better to keep collecting Twinklies so we can buy the first couple of buildings in phase 3. I think bombing mutant Stewies helps level up, and there are lots of those scurrying around now. Use the Go button on the ciggie list at the Trading Post to locate them. I think you can also zero in on them with the bomb detonator, it seems to be a Stewie-seeking device.

    • Don’t bother. Buy buildings, bomb Stewies, and cure Mutants. And, I’m assuming, zap Roaches, but I’m not in Phase 3 yet. All those will get you the CP you need. Just get as many Twinklies as you can while in Phase 2, and you’ll get there eventually.

  37. I am at lvl 7 and still on good 6 in the event shop (not even Stan in sight). Saw an empty lock in the plant mud. Tapped it. Boom – some fat guy appears, a 7-day timer starts. OK, I am off to get goodies for him. Guess what? Joe cannot yet do the jobs. Brian cannot yet do the job. Buildings will only start droppin’ goodies from week 3.

    Conclusions:
    1. TinyCo should really consider starting a timer any sooner than it is possibly to do work for it
    2. If you see a lock in the mud, for all what’s holy, don’t tap it!!

    • TinyCo doesn’t support bluestacks as its essentially a “hacked” version of their game. I know not in the “bad” way. But at times the coding is altered to fit bluestacks system. You can try to contact TinyCo for support, but I can tell you they won’t guarantee help on it due to its not supported.

    • If you don’t have an Android or Apple phone, I can only recommend getting one of the other Android emulators out there. Genymotion is free. AmiDuos is free for 30 days. There are a few more that have slipped my mind, but both of those are supposed to run pretty well on a PC setup (I can vouch that the latter actually runs some of my games better, if not always faster, than Android), and both are effectively running a more “vanilla” version of Android, so things work more like they’re designed to than with Bluestacks.

  39. Hey Bunny.. just dropping in with some personal feedback… Maybe they’ll make adjustments. Always worth a try 🙂 the only way to get bulbs (freemium) are Stan, Bonnie, the diner and AP Peter. I even bought mutant Meg because she helps, BUT as you noted, her task for bulbs requires Neil (I didn’t see your post first) Well, Stan and Neil are also the only way to get helmets for AP Peter! It’s so so hard when they use the same characters for the most important things. it would be immensely helpful if they added more ways to get helmets.. I’m not sure if it was made clear (in game) that Meg would require Neil for her bulb task. I think she only had a “helps with bulbs” tag. If it was clear than that’s my fault, but for the 240 clams that she costs, I just think it would be a lot more fair if she helped on her own. Without Neil. I need Neil to be getting helmets, so mutant Meg is doing nothing now.. it takes 11 hrs to take out 1 roach, so only having Bonnie & the diner is rough lol. AND I won’t even have Bonnie anymore once she starts being chased! I’m on part 3 of the main QL, and she hasn’t yet, so maybe they decided to push it further back in the QL before that starts? That would be nice. We can’t get Lois’ skin for a while, so it’d be nice if Bonnie weren’t unusable that whole time. Anyway, Thanks for allowing us to share our thoughts 🙂

  40. Alien seems seeks to be in the game for 200 clams. His Egg seems to drop a Human Mutant dart every 8 hours(I think, whenever you can collect from it). Apparently he also has a task to drop darts for Human Mutants. I don’t have him so I can see him in the shop, but I can’t confirm any of the drops, just going on what I can see.

I can confirm that last time I collected from it, that no Darts dropped. • Sorry, that’s my fault. I saw the icon in the menu and thought it meant that the Egg dropped the darts, I then saw the task mentioned as dropping darts so I thought that both Alien and the Egg dropped them. I believe Bunny is right, the Egg doesn’t drop anything special, but Alien has a task to drop them. Sorry again for the confusion.

  41. Is anyone having trouble with the Mutant Meg costume? I bought her and now I have Meg wandering around AND Mutant Meg as a separate character that has been turned into a Mutant. I just had finished clearing my Mutants and now have to wait until I get some darts to try and clear the Mutant Mutant Meg. Hopefully, once it is cleared she will merge with her regular character.

Message TinyCo to let them know where you are and where the hold up is.

        . Get from lane wreckage
. Get from fortified water tower
. Make Joe get chiselled legs

        10 propellor hats – uncommon
. Advance to week 3 to get outdoor skate park
. Find outdoor skatepark in the stockpile tanker
        . Make Brian look awesome

        5 yellow raincoats – rare
. Advance to week 3 to get Mutant Research Facility
. Find Mutant Research Facility in the stockpile tanker
. Advance to week 3 to get Imperator Lois
. Make Lois practice being First Lady

        6 Channel 5 microphones – rare
. Advance to week 3 to get the human fort
. Get from Goldman & Son Trading Post
. Find Human Fort in the Stockpile Tanker

Footnote: when I clicked on the Brian task above it took me to Al’s but not to a Brian skin. Perhaps that is going to appear as a clam skin. I don’t know yet.

Hope this helps those preparing for Ollie.
