Some REALLY cool things are dropping now into our game. One Character in particular I know myself as well as many others REALLY wanted in the game for a long time now. EEEEE!!!
What all new madness, Characters, and crazies will this Phase bring? Take a look below once I update it all!
EVENT WILL END THURSDAY MAY 5TH, 2016 @10AM PACIFIC
First up, the Basics
- Players will need to Fortify your Gates and complete Peterpocalypse Again Part 9 in order for Phase 2 to launch.
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s completed
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incompleted Tasks already on your List to make room for more

CHARACTERS
TIMER WARNING!!! Ollie WILL be timed. Same as Commander Jesus, he will be found in the Event Area. AVOID HIM UNTIL YOU’RE READY! ANYTHING taking you to him will start his 7 DAY TIMER. Give yourself enough time to collect a few needed things before getting to him. More details to come, just wanted to give a heads up on him.
He is located on the metal slab right next to Commander Jesus in the sludgy water. He will be waving at you and a LOCK icon next to him. Tapping the Lock Icon is just one way to trigger him. FYI, Part 5 of Boom & Doom does tell you to Discover him and will start his timer.
Ollie: I do not have him unlocked yet, and will not for a bit… but just tapping on him I do not hear a voice yet.

POWERPLANT GATE
Tapping on the Gates will tell you how often your “bad guy” will spawn, like the Mutant Goldfish. It will also tell you when the next Upgrade for the Event (Phase 4) will hit along with how many Crisis Level Points you will need to access the content.
Phase 4 right now will require you to hit Crisis Level 11
BONNIE & MOTORCYCLE MUTANTS
Much like Chris being infected and needing cured, now Bonnie will be involved in the Event Action.
Right when you get into the new Main Questline for Phase 3, Boom & Doom Pt. 1, Bonnie can begin to get chased by the Motorcycle Mutants.
Just like Chris, if she is on a Task it will still keep timing down. She will however need to be saved from the Motorcycle Mutants in order to collect her Payout for her Task.
Only Imperator Lois can help her, so work on getting her into your game to help Bonnie.
RADIATION SICKNESS CHRIS
Chris will now have multiple Payouts when you cure him.

AND
+ Gasoline (still verifying the drop as I have to wait for him to get sick again) Per TinyCo, this was in error. He will NOT drop them.
NEUTRALIZATION STATION
You will find this on the Left Side of the Event Area. It looks like a wrecked airplane. Much like previous Events, here will be where you create an item to help you out in the Event. Each item will require specific Materials and time to create it. Once created, you can use it once.
There will be a CAPACITY (how many TOTAL you can have in Queue and complete in your game). My Game Capacity started with 8. You can increase it if you want +4 by spending Clams on Armageddon Stan’s Trailer.
There will be a QUEUE (the MAX amount of items you can craft at a time). My Game Queue was 6 items total can be crafted at a time, up to Capacity.
The NEW Item added to the Neutralization Station is a Roach Zapper. These will be used to take out Bad Roaches.
Roach Zapper: Requires 1 Lightbulb & 1hr 30mins to create
Lightbulb: Armageddon Stan Look Sharp OR Apocalypse Peter Drive on the Wrong Side of the Road OR Bonnie Build a Pillow Fort OR The Diner at the End of the Apocalypse OR Electric Boogie OR Mutant Meg Make Mutant Friends Leave a Slime Trail
BAD ROACHES
These will start appearing during Boom & Doom Pt. 2. They will require TWO Roach Darts to clear them. I see 3 appear right away.
Same as the Mutants, watch the Kill Zone. Make sure they are PURPLE in color and walking into the Kill Zone Circle before tapping to fire the Roach Zapper.
Also, due to you need to hit them TWICE, watch their Heart Level. They start at 100 so if you see 100, they have not been hit. If you see 50 on their Heart Meter when you tap on them, they just need one more hit.
Be careful as well that another Roach doesn’t walk into the circle and turn Purple instead while you are placing the Roach Zapper to fire at a different one.
Payout: Chance of +15 Gasoline (I got +15 from all 3 I cleared)
TWINKLY TRADING POST
You will find this on the Left Side of the Event Area. It looks like a thrown together Building with lots of “Twinklies” outside. Here is where you can Trade Event Materials collected for the Event Currency Twinkles. Twinkles will be used to purchase items at the Stockpile Tanker. This will be your main source of Twinklies.

You will find this on the Right Side of the Event Area. Here is where Buildings/Decorations for the Event can be purchased with Twinkles. Prizes here will have to be unlocked in order. In other words to get to the LAST item, all the items in front of it have to be purchased first.
FYI- Per TinyCo, the “CHANCE” drops mean they can drop 0 OR 1 OR 2 of that item. Just keep that in mind. They are NOT guaranteed drops.

Bunny, have you come across the unlabeled rations mystery box? It popped up once for me and you could a chance for 6 toilet papers to win darts, light bulbs, nets, gasoline and a couple others. I did it three times then it disappeared. Wondering where it went or if it will return.

I have saved up 174 twinkies. I am at the point of obtaining the Mutant Research Facility. I have all my Channel 5 Mics and just need one more Yellow Rain Coat and have Imperator Lois. I need 5 Umbrellas but I have just under 5 days left on my counter. My point is that the two remaining buildings seem pointless to obtain. Is there any reason to trade in other than Ollie items? If the Battle Tested Roller Chicks are NPC then I won’t even try. I feel like hoarding twinkies for the update tomorrow is my best approach.

It will depend on the last page. Most of the time you must get the items up to the “FREAKIN HARD” ones in order to move on to the next page, but… if you can access the final page with out it and you don’t need/want it… then pass on it. I am still trading for Twinklies so I have a stockpile of them when Phase 4 hits.

Something I don’t seem to see mentioned anywhere is that the Quahog Mall got added to the store for 50 TP (probably in phase 2, could have been phase 3). From other sources I get this is an event only building, is it worth getting? I honestly find the destroyed skins more aesthetically pleasing, but if the Mall is limited and/or would help out with anything in the future I wouldn’t mind getting it first. Thanks in advance :).

That is because it is a return item and not for ALL players. (It is noted in many comments though 😉 )
The Quahog Mall was brought back so those that buy Mutant Meg can use it for her Tasks. Those that did not buy Mutant Meg and don’t need it for tasks, it won’t even show up in their games. 🙂

Somewhat typical, considering I didn’t buy Mutant Meg and I don’t think I need it for any tasks atm. I think I’ll wait it out and see what phase 4 releases, have enough TP and a week to decide. Thanks for the answer.

I know others used it too. I would have to go waaaaaaaaay back when it was released to see them all. Could be some of the Smith’s too. In short, they return when they are needed. 😉

Bunny, I am still in Phase 2 but I have already collected a few Lightbulbs from Bonnie’s 8-hour task and the Diner at the End of the Apocalypse and already created a few Roach Zappers in the Neutralization Station. I just logged into the game and the 2 Roach Zappers that I had created are now gone and the item is locked again in the Neutralization Station. It now says “Coming Soon” again, even though I had already created 2 of them.
I am still on Peterpocalypse Again Pt. 8 and have not bought Armageddon Stan in the Stockpile Tanker yet. I wanted to stay in Phase 2 and continue to turn in Cigarettes and Water Bottles for Twinklies. Even though I am still in Phase 2, I was able to see the items from Phase 3 in the Stockpile Tanker. I was also able to buy the new Building Skins for Phase 3.
Please let me know if you have any advice on how I can retrieve my Roach Zappers.

You have to go to Phase 3 as that is when they are actually in use for the Event. So, once you get to Boom and Doom you should see them again. 🙂

I was worried about this too, the wreckage drops 2 umbrellas when it hits, (so far it’s hit every 8hrs without a miss for me. )

Hey Bunny.. Are the Roller Chicks decos or actual characters? I’m a little frustrated because I didn’t start the timer on them, but I noticed the task to get them on my task bar was counting down. It was at 16 hours. So i opened up the Stockpile Tanker to see what was going on and as soon as I opened it the timer on them started at 24 hours.. So I don’t know why the timer on my task bar said 16 hours if I hadn’t started the timer on them yet. So basically, the one on my task bar says 16 hours and the one in the stockpile tanker says 23 hrs 59 mins. I wanted to get them if their characters.. But if they’re decos I’m not even gonna try.

How has the collection experience been for Ollies Umbrellas so far?
I just accidentally started timer (but I have most of the trading gear) and I missed Joes costume so I’m concerned that 17 “common” drops on my buildings 8 hour timer is going to be a crap shoot without the premium building.

I let it play out a few days to see what would happen. I seemed to get good drops for him and Lois both. I got him down to 95 Clams and bought out the last items.

Does anyone know what the Battle Tested Roller Chicks are? Is it just an animated decoration or a walking decoration or…? 510 Twinklies are a waste if they just skate around your town. Would better be used to stockpile for next week’s items.

Kind of stuck again. Bonnie is being chased by a motorcycle & I must use Lois to save her. I am nowhere close to unlocking the Lois costume – so far 1 pair of goggles dropped & nothing else. Bonnie could be helping earn gas cans, but apparently she is out of action for quite a while until I get the costume for Lois unlocked. Is this what should happen or am I bugged?
I have the Rapture cycle, mutant saloon, petrol pump, & fuel refinery. Other than the googles, waiting for those building to drop is only way to unlock lois costume.
I’m glad this is a long event, but it is a frustrating one as the characters needed are always getting ‘stuck’ waiting on something before they can complete their tasks. I am glad to see the God character which has been useless since Xmas is at least earning TP. Wish more characters were doing something useful or only useless ones turned into mutants, got radiation sickness, chased by motorcycles, etc…

Bonnie is my only character I can use to get light bulbs. I can’t get helmets for Peter. Can’t get twinkies because all need gasoline. No way to get it. I swear, I’ll never get their thought process on things when making their quests. So really what is there to do? Grind cigarettes that have become totally useless? Getting 2 light bulbs a day for 15 gasoline does not help get twinkies when I need 28.

I have 2 games. I’m stuck at Boom & Doom part 3 in both, because of the helmets for Peter. However, in 1 game I’m able to use Bonnie for the bulbs, and in the other she’s being chased by the motorcycle. I don’t see any difference in what I did except that in the game where she ISN’T being chased, i got to phase 3 a day earlier. Did I do something to keep Bonnie from being chased? Or, without getting the Lois skin, is there something I can do in my other game to get Bonnie back? Or is it just a random miracle that I can still use Bonnie in one of my games? I’m confused…

I messaged them every day for past 4 days and still no reply – Bonnie has been chased by a motorcycle for past 6 days – and I’m stuck at boom and doom part 3 too. Not having Bonnie available to get lights has severely impacted game play.

Anyone else who has not unlocked Apocalypse Peter?? I just got Stan last Thurs/Fri. I wound up buying Commander Jesus because all other items had been collected except for Stan’s. I can’t save Bonnie because Lois isn’t in Harringtons (Scratch that about Lois. She just appeared as I am writing this.) As for Peter, I lack 2 Mohawk Wax and 22 Helmets. I have only had Neil for this as I just got Stan. It took ages to get Neil. My rare drops seem Epic. Tiny Co checked and said drop rates are accurate. Anyone else struggling to get Peter?

you automatically get stan the second you buy his costume (apocolypse stan). i was well chuffed with this as i missed the american dad event 2yrs ago. hope that helped. 🙂

If you do NOT have Stan himself, pull him out of Inventory then go to Al’s to complete his Costume.
If you DO have Stan, go to Al’s and complete the costume.

I’m finding these fairly slow to drop although I’ll still have them all quite awhile before the helmets, so it won’t matter overall. I have Neil and Stan non-stop getting the helmets but still have a long way to go.

It took me 3 days before I got it to drop anything. Its an extra rare drop so even if you get a response its just going to be the working as intended drop rates are random one.

Hey Bunny 🙂 Any sign of help coming for apocalypse Peter helmets?
They are flippin brutal. Im moving along great on everything with no clams spent. Have all the twinklie buidlings bought up until the last one (the microphone dropping one) and i have even been able to get Apoc Jesus and Ollie and i unlocked lois outfit. But now im stuck on the questline bec i still need HALF the helmets. I really hope some help comes somehow. Neils truckn away alone to get them bec us freemium players really cant afford to take Stan of the new ammo task since gas cans are really needed.
To me, if they really wanna keep peters requirements, then i would love it if they would take him out of the main questline. I would hate not to get to move on this Thursday despite my hard work JUST bec i cant move along in the required questline past part 3 when there is probably gonna be 9 or 10 total parts. 😦

How do you see the new stuff in the tanker for phase 3 without going into phase 3? I see lots of comments about people staying in phase 2 and saving up before they go into phase 3. I just unlocked Stan and thought it would show up after I got him, but still only have 2 pages in my tanker. Also, will clicking on the gate automatically send me into phase 3? I haven’t sent Stan to look sharp yet. Going to have him start working on helmets like others have suggested while saving twinklies. So grateful for this site and all the wonderful tips!

Until you complete the Questline Part 9, you will not move into 3. Hitting Level 8 and upgrading the gates are part of 9.
No way to see the items until you trigger them.

Page 3 of the tanker along with all the new building skins just showed up and I have not moved to phase 3 yet. I did accidently tap the gate earlier. Once I do the 8 hour task for Stan will it automatically upgrade me or will I still have to tap something? I will hold off on making Stan look sharp if I need to while stockpiling twinklies.

Week 3 is now well underway and I am still struggling through week 2.
The exchange rates for week 2 have been awful and they don’t look to be much better for week 3. Twinkly cost of some items are silly as well.
Not enough darts and not enough ciggies!
Plenty water bottles though…
