It is a lil late in the Evening for me and I am really fading fast. I waited as long as I could for the Update to hit. I will note as much as I can for it tonight, but the rest will have to wait til morning. Sorry. 🙂
First up, the Basics
- Players will need to complete week two main Questline
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s completed
- You will need to be on App Market Version 1.27.5 in order to see the full content
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more

How do I start phase 3 of Truth, Justice, and the Quahog Way?
You will need complete Going Batty Pt.10 and update your game to 1.27.5 before you can begin the third phase of Truth, Justice, and the Quahog Way.
I’ve completed Going Batty Pt. 10 but phase 3 hasn’t started.
Please make sure that your game is running on 1.27.5. Once you update, you should see the questline start and be on your way!
How do I unlock Cheetah Bonnie?
Cheetah Bonnie is available at Al Harrington’s.
To unlock her, you will need:

33 running shoes: Mort-retreat cowardly, Jerome-host happy hour and Chris-hang out at home (icons not currently showing)

Cheetah Bonnie is available until Wednesday, August 31 at 3 PM, PDT. If she is not completely unlocked, she will disappear from the game at that time. If she is unlocked before the event ends, you will be able to continue her quests after the event has ended.
How do I get Harley Quinn?
Harley Quinn is available in the shop for 250 clams. She will be available for purchase until Wednesday, August 31 at 3 PM, PDT.
Joker in the Pack Pt. 9 won’t complete!
No worries, this is the end of Phase 3! Once Phase 4 is released, you’ll be able to complete Joker in the Pack Pt. 9 and continue making progress.

Update 1.27.6 came after the release of Phase 3 and with it a NEW Character to Battle in the game. The Joker.
In order to actually UNLOCK the Joker, you will need to collect a total of 85 Hand Buzzers for him. You will get these by “Battling” him.
You will essentially gather Batman Gadgets in the game to Battle the Joker with to get Rewards.

Once you defeat him to the top level, he will go into “hibernation/ cool down”. Still seeing how long it is for. You will see his “Jack in the Box” sitting where he last was at on the Roads at with the arm spinning around until he “pops out” again.
If you do NOT defeat him in the 1Day & 4hrs, he will go into hibernation and restart at 1X when he comes back.
You of course do have the option to Pay Clams to bring him back sooner (Mine showed 20 Clams). The amount will vary by Player, where you are in the Battle, etc. So tap on the Jack in the Box to find out YOUR Clam Cost if you really want to go that route.

Once all 85 Hand Buzzers are collected, go back to the Shopping Cart and tap on him in there. He will then appear in town on one of the Roads with the Unlock Icon over him. Tapping on him will bring the Joker into the game.

These are similar to the Regular Thugs and the Gangs. You tap on the group of “Clowns” and you will see what is required to Battle, what Characters can Battle, and what payout chance you will get.
Battle Characters (as of Phase 3): Your Characters will need to be FULL BAR STRENGTH to battle. If they are not, you can’t. If you tap on them to “HEAL” them, it will tell you how much time you have to wait til they are fully healed… or the Clam options to fill up the Bars you need.

Questline always dictates progress. You must finish each Phase Main Questline to unlock the next new Main Questline and Phase. 😉

How long has joker been available to get and how long is he available for? I only yesterday managed to update the gand and now only 36 hours to get him. I don’t think it’s possible…I’m really disappointed that your guide hasn’t been finished for week 3, I could really have used your help… 😓

It is a “Battle Fight” with him. That is his timer of amount of time you have to battle him and get as many items as possible before he “cools down” and starts again. 🙂

I started the aquaman timer. Luckily I had most of the buildings to get him but I wanted to fight bane so I spent the clams for the Lois Batgirl activity but I didn’t get her from Wayne tower. Did I just waste my clams or will I get her once I unlock her in Wayne tower without going through the headache of trading bags of jewels etc. Please tell me I didn’t waste my clams. P.s. Cmon with the clam heroes. I bought superman and now I gotta buy batman too. Can’t I trade lol. Team batman all the way

You probably figured this out by now, but the 150 clams was just to skip that character’s task – it doesn’t give you the character. 😦
I accidentally started Aquaman’s timer and juuust barely got him myself! I had to pay clams to finish Catwoman Lois’ task before the timer ran out!
But now I’m still stuck trying to get through level 7 so I can progress to Week 3 (& yes, I’m apparently up-to-date on my game *sigh*) and Aquaman doesn’t even have any tasks to gather items, so it’s not like he’s done a whole lot for me (although the extra hand to battle Bane is nice)!

Two separate things. One is a battle to earn items FOR the Character…. the other is a Character. Kind of like Greek Event where you battled Gods, but could get them as a Character too. 🙂

Anyone have any idea when the Joker villain appears? Not the group of jokers, but the actual “joker villain.” It says in the FAQ that he appears when you start the “jokes on you” quest, but I’m at part 6 of the main quest line, and I haven’t seen anything yet. i have characters dropping the weapons needed to battle him, though. Gotta defeat him to get hand buzzers to buy the Joker character..

Ignore my first concern about sneakers – once you reach the joker in the pack pt 6 – that opens everything up. The joker battles start, the buildings drop bat toys needed, players start dropping more items. I had about 110 kryptonite to start phase 3 and I was able to buy everything up until the last item – no desire for that – since I’ll save up enough to start right away on phase 4 next week. Now focus on getting cheetah Bonnie, then joker…

Ok so question why is Bonnie on the list to fight the jokers when you need to first unlock her but you cant unlock Leopard Bonnie without collecting 41 yes 41 Jaws…..and the only way to get Jaws is to fight the jokers….Im confused lol…Oh well at least I got Harley Quinn now Mr Joker where are you so we can mingle hehheehe

You still need other items from them, so when she is unlocked she can still help in the future to earn the other drops. Things are not just planned for “NOW”, many are future too. 🙂

I hate this event.
But I love DC Comics.
It’s tedious and annoying.
I only started playing Family Guy because of the DC heroes, but I’m not a fan of unlocking a building with character and then having to try and raise items to get the character to use. I guess the Simpsons spoiled me, but I prefer their method.
And the fighting pills, UGH! I have fought once in two days because no one earns the pills. I have rolled snake eyes for over two days in warning pills.
I’m giving this game till the end of the event. If it doesn’t get better, I’m done.

Just will put this out there now… don’t compare them…ever… or you will be sorely disappointed. For reals. 😉
This game is a ton more challenging, a lot of work, and not just a “tap and go” game. There are strategies, planning involved, time involved, and if you just play to play… you will get most things… but Clams will always be there in your face begging you to spend them.
I would suggest to play just to play. Do what you can. Get what you can. It will never be simple like TSTO we write about. Ever. If it’s not for you, that’s fine. Just want you to be fully aware up front. 🙂

The 33 running shoes required for Cheeta Bonnie are an uncommon drop and the only building/character dropping them is the Arkham Asylum which is a 14 hour task. Do you think there’s any chance of TC adding additional options for drops? It’s going to be virtually impossible to collect 33 in 27 days…

The point system really stinks! I already have enough kryptonite for all but the freaking hard for week 3. But I’m just a little over 7 1/2 ” the point system. Just waiting a few points at a time to be able to move on. I usually just pay, but then they move people along, which is nice, but they wait I’m sure to see how many people will pay to advance first. Waaaa
Do you get points for buying characters? I may wind up caving. Dang it.

OK It took forever to get to Level 8, I wasted a whole day of this weeks Phase to reach it…but anyways..what’s this unfairness? You have to have Arkham Asylum to get the running shoes for Cheetah Bonnie? So you have to spend clams to get her I guess…and her other stuff doesn’t come from tasks either, all from buildings…Good thing I had enough Krypto saved up to get all but the last two items on the prize list..but it won’t matter if you have to buy Arkham….they better change that or else I should have saved all my Krypto and not bought anything…

My level 7 power level seemed to take FOREVER to show any movement, still haven’t gotten 8 yet and I have battling Bane who doesn’t drop POW, the croc drops one POW, single thug has now POW, not sure about gang o thugs, I have over 500 bags of loot and a very low number of vitamins to waste on those when Bane is really the only way to get bags o’ jewels in enough amounts to allow me to buy kryptonite. Though it is putting me behind on the week, I should be able to buy most everything as long as they don’t get silly with the amount of kryptonite it costs, or change currency…

Is anyine else having a problem reaching level 8? I have completed all the quests for all the charactera except harley quin and am still a long way off from level 8. I don’t understand. I have also bulit all the buildings and have been collecting reguarly. The only enemy that seems to drop xp are the crocs. Am I missing something?

Uhh! I stuck at level 7.5, all my main quest items are done, expect getting to level 8. I’ve got all the buildings you can buy with rings and it’s still slow. At the rate I’m going, it will be 3 or 4 days. Very frustrating!

Anybody have any idea when the Joker will be showing up? I’d like to start working on him since Cheetah Bonnie is pretty much just waiting for buildings to pay out.

How can I get more pow points? Ready to move to next phase but stuck halfway to level 8. Does anything drop them?

Has anyone figured out what the Legion of Doom hideout costs yet? I hoarded kryptonite from last week so as soon as the new content launched I was able to get everything from Wayne Tower already.
Looks like there is already some issues. To get cheetah Bonnie you need the running shoes which right now is only available from Arkham Asylum which is a clam purchase. I bought Arkham and the Joker thing and neither dropped anything. I could of sworn my previous purchases dropped their items upon placement after purchase. Right now Arkham Drops one shoe and one cheetah costume during its 15hr period. With 33 shoes needed this will be a long time to unlock the costume. Also Cheetah Bonnie is used to fight clowns. But to unlock her you’ll need 41 teeth which only come from fighting clowns and are a single drop. So to get help fighting clowns you’ll need to beat 41 clowns before Bonnie can even help not counting the other drops. Superheroes are my weakness so I purchased all premium content this event so far and have been comfortably ahead each week but, it looks like this will be a long 3rd phase for me.

Yeah, it’s gonna be slow going getting those teeth for Cheetah Bonnie. Lois and Peter apparently can defeat the clowns by themselves but they can go on their clown fight date only twice a day, I think, since it should take Lois 12 hours to heal 4 bars. But they can be collecting materials for joker fights all along and I was able to start collecting those in phase 2 while waiting and waiting and waiting to get to level 8. The long wait for level 8 did mean I had enough kryptonite to get up to the jokermobile right away, though, so the gold bags from the clowns are not such an urgent thing. Guess we should just play, as Bunnie keeps saying, and see what happens.

Earlier today, I updated my game from the App Store. After this, I noticed that the “Sidekicks and Things” building was missing. I found it in my inventory, and replaced it, thinking I must’ve stored it on accident. I checked on my game a couple of hours later, and I keep getting an error message that says I have a building saved in an improper location, and the game resets to when I opened it, with none of my tasks complete. But, guess what is still running with no problems. The timer to release Aquaman. That’s right. I currently am unable to complete any tasks, and the time that’s progressing is the Aquaman timer. I’ve contacted TinyCo, but have yet to receive a response. I knew there was a good reason I deleted this game a few months ago. I’m quickly regretting my decision to give it another chance

So I guess we need to spend clams to get the sneakers for Cheetah Bonnie. Dissappointed in that. Have done very well getting everything so far but just cant see buying that building.

Is there anything that can be done to level up to level 8. I’m stuck at halfway there but there is nothing to boost my level. The ring items aren’t boosting it that much.

Question, Bunny – does it seem like we pretty much have to get the Bat Cave to progress (if we’re stuck on Level 7) since nothing else but Wayne Tower items earn significant POWs? I’ve been saving my Kryptonite to get a good start on Phase 3 instead of just stocking another deco, but this strategy seems to have left me unable to progress after all!

No. TinyCo always adjusts it if players are stuck. Just have to wait for it to hit. 🙂
