Quahog’s Not So Silent Night Weekly Challenge – Week 5 – The Last Of The Toy Stories

We all love a Chrustnas surprise, not knowing what you’re going to get until you open it. Well,  that’s how I look at the Weekly Challenge!  You never know what you’re going to get until it drops in your game.

As always these aren’t called a challenge for nothing, sometimes they can be extremely difficult to complete, especially for freemium players. Many see these as extra fun for premium players but that doesn’t mean a freemium player can’t do it, it just depends where you are in the game and sometimes a lucky guess at what items to stockpile whilst you wait for the challenge to drop. The prizes to date have always been decorations, with the odd building as a Grand Prize, so I wouldn’t advocate spending clams on these, but as always the choice is yours.

Anyway this week’s challenge, if you should choose to accept it should work in tandem with what a lot of us will be doing right now, attacking Negatron and curing Holiday Blues. If you manage to complete it you will be awarded the My Little Brony decoration.

And if you’ve completed every weekly challenge you’ll be awarded your very own Baby Heimlich decoration.

What do you need to do to complete it, well here’s the deal, you will need to complete the The Last Of The Toy Stories task which consists of:

Peter  Starts

Clear Negatron Two Times
Use A Pepper Merry Bear To Help Lois’ Holiday Blues

You have 24 Hours in which to complete all parts.

So there you have it the last of this events weekly challenges.

Good luck and let us know in the comments if you completed the challenge.

  3. That was easy shame the stupid luck based week 4 challenge stopped me completing the set.

  4. little brony is adorable, just got him, and after spending 20 bucks on clams, I pretty much got everyone but the premium characters, which are way overpriced. In my opinion, this event was extremely difficult, if not impossible to maneuver without spending serious clamage… If anyone did, I would love to hear about it

    • I got all the freemium characters and costumes without spending clams (even with sleeping in a lot over the last couple weeks since I’ve been on vacation). I’ll try and go into more detail when the ‘how did you do’ post goes up since that seems like it would be the best place to talk about it.

    • 1st two phases went fairly smoothly for me then in phase 3 progress slowed quite a bit. But with Bonnie constantly having the blues in phase 4 when I needed her to drop beach balls to get robes my game completely stalled and never really recovered. I didn’t buy any clams but, I did use my saved clams to get Rupert & Black Jesus. I think I spent around 150 total clams for them. I did spend clams for the Retro Arcade Christmas Tree at the start of the event.

  5. Completely do-able challenge, unlike the luck shot that was Week 4… I had enough bears saved up to take down each moody character twice over, 10 un-opened robo boxes, and enough bots in Stock to take Negatron down 3 times, and 15 beach balls for Baby Heimlich just in case.

A lot of overkill when released, but better prepared than not. I was done with this challenge in less than 2 hours. Just had to wait for Negatron to spawn. 🙂

  6. Oh yeah this event sucked! Murder on the Freemium players. Trying to get Black Jesus for almost 10 days. Laughable. Haven’t had a Green Bear in 6 days! WTF? Also, so many places NEVER drop their items: ie Festive FPS Bunker and Blockzilla Disaster Scene. Days and days without a drop. Total BS.

  7. I’ve been waiting to see this last task appear on my screen but I haven’t. With almost 24 hours to go before it’s over, I’m worried it won’t show in time for me to get it and achieve it. I’ve completed all the other weekly tasks, eager to get the end prize.. any help would be great!

    • Are you in Phase 5? If so, where are you in main Questline?

      • I’m not sure what that means, sorry.. I’ve maxed out at level 30 as far as the holiday part. On the “Theater” where you earn things I’m on the last prize on the 4th page. I’ve have Rupert, and all the other characters for this Event except just a few away from Black Jesus.

      • Triumphant !!! .. you helped me realize I forgot to do one of the last tasks on on that Phase. The Robot is walking around on the streets now and I’m sure as soon as I hurry and play “catch up” I’ll get that last “Brony task” show up. Thank You!!!

  8. complete the challenge?!! i still cannot unlock rupert never mind black jesus or the final stage! Joke of an event.

    • Agreed. This event will probably make me put this game to rest. Every care package seems it has ghostly gifts. Bonnie is an integral character to unlock black Jesus, and she gets holiday depression constantly. Been on 13 triangles for Rupert for 3 days, and all my problems come from a ridiculous drop rate of bears. Forget this, tinyco can just lose my advertising numbers for their sponsors.

  9. Well. I got all 4 prizes up to this week, and now can’t complete it because the game crashes whenever I try to cure anyone’s “holiday blues.” This is really starting to tick me off, because I thought I could get a grand prize for once…

  10. Great, so I get pwned by the green bear again. I don’t mind a challenge if I have control over how I approach it. Getting The Pepper Merry bear is purely random and I could send every character I have that can to get care packages and 1) have a chance they won’t return with one and 2) when opened won’t have the bear. Oh well….fingers crossed.

    • I agree, this has been a painful end to this event – drops for critical boxes have suddenly become non-existent, I went from averaging 2 – 3 robot boxes to maybe one every 8 hours, and as you point out, just having one is no guarantee of anything…the last robot box I opened had two sets of now-useless stocking stuffers and a care bear package…which had one red bear for Bonnie and nothing else useful…I’ve only needed 2 bedtime stories for Onsie Mayor West for the last three days and have just given up on that – at this point, I’m just looking forward to the end of this event…sorry, not trying to make this into a WTD post, but this event has ground to a painful halt as drops have noticeably decreased…hoping to get a little break before the next event…

  11. Not too painful. I was afraid it would involve clearing Baby Heimlich multiple times, which could be a stretch for me in the time left. Thankfully already had a Peppermerry bear (which didn’t drop at ALL for me for days, and then I got a fair number) on hand…
