Kung Pow Quahog Phase 2 is now live in our games and many characters and buildings have tasks to help us earn even more stuff! So keep reading to learn what’s dropping this week.
With the arrival of Phase 2 of the Kung Pow Quahog event, more characters and buildings in Quahog have tasks to help you earn essential materials and drop stuff to help you unlock Dojo Peter and Daniel LaRusso, and of course you want to know which ones earn what & how often. Is Mr. Miyagi or Mr. Washee Washee any help in the event what so ever? And are they only unlockable in their respective phases or can I wait until the end of the event to unlock them? Just want to know if I should use my current stash of Samurai Headbands on rice balls or Mr. Miyagi. 😉

Thanks for the meg task, had her in the resort doing nothing. Read your advice about when to start johnny so I activated him. was going to wait for quagmire costume and building that drops brooms, but like you said I would be missing some drops. Finally realized not to have a character not start the 7 days for once and found not so clear and dry on when to activate.

This was a tough one to decide on, but the 3 fighting contracts per Samurai battle made up my mind, I wanted get the loser awards for any battles, seems be working out for me so far, but I probably just jinxed myself saying that. Good Luck!!!

Is anyone having problems with the Gabby Sushi Bar? I earned it last night and placed it, however, it has remained the footprint with the gears since then. And it hasn’t given me an opportunity to collect the Wooden Zori, at all. I have put it into inventory and closed the game and put it back out. I am still waiting on customer support, just wondering if anyone else has had problems.

Yes Bunny had the issue and has reported it to TinyCo, I’ve managed to place it ok but no drops as yet. I’m playing on IOS. What are you playing on

Started playing daily a couple years ago. Play mostly freemium,,won’t get Daniel but I’m enjoying the event. These posts work. I believe this game is fairer for everyone. Love the posts each day. Thanks.

When are people “repairing” Johnny to start the 7 day timer? Once they have all buildings that drop something for him?

I repaired him this morning as resources for fighting Samurais are rare, and you need 11 loser awards from them for Johnny. Samurai only drop 1 of these each defeat, so going take 11 defeats, so I felt i’d repair Johnny to get them dropping. Whether I’ve blundered or not we will find out in 6 days and 10 hrs. I should say Mort has dropped a broom every time so already got 3 of them without placing that building. Oh and also I purchased Tai-Jitsu Lois

noticed a painful glitch – i had 8 rice balls this morning in chase two (I had just bought the first 4 buildings) and was excited since I was only 3 away from next building to get brooms. Then when I went back in 2 hours later – the rice balls had dropped to only 2 – that sucked. I did message tiny co – so I will see if they fix this. Unsure if anyone else has recently had this problem

Yes been isolated incidents of this, Lotty saw it in her game but she noticed she’d been awarded the 6 White Rice twice, so the 6 removed she shouldn’t have had. However I can’t say if that’s what happened in your game.

They replied this morning and credited back the 6 rice – so that was good. I need 1 more rice ball to get last building for Johnny – so I’ll probably unlock him tonight as well – since that’s the next time I’ll attack the samurai. The zori look to be rate limiting factor for quagmire – but I’m hoping I’ll get enough in next 4-5 days

My Zori were slow start dropping, then yesterday drop, drop, drop from Lois & the building… Hope this helps you.

I had that same exact problem. I reported it to TinyCo but thought the issue was with my game only. The issue happens in between the transition to phase two when you unlock the option for bandanas. I had 8 rice balls and was trying to buy a building and I no longer couldn’t. Restarted game and I had two rice balls. Now I’m mad that I got robbed of those.
