Look out Addicts, as the third of the Mighty Morphin Griffin Rangers‘ Weekly Challenges is here.
Now for a couple of events TinyCo seemed to be making these challenges just an eensy weensy teensy bit easier and we were seeing a flourish of happy comments, but then they upped the stakes again in the last couple of events, so it’s hard to predict what we will get in this events set of challenges. We just need wait and see as they drop each week.
Anyway this week’s challenge, if you should choose to accept it, seems a little easier than most, you need to fight the Earth Kaiju twice, the Flame Kaiju twice and the Water Kaiju twice, so both freemium and premium players can do this, and technically it should work in tandem with what a lot of us will be doing right now. And remember fight means attack the Kaiju, you don’t actually need to defeat them, just attack each twice.
And if you do manage to complete it you will be rewarded with the Caged Pudgy Pig decoration.
And as per the last few events TinyCo have also released an image of the grand prize should you complete the full set of weekly challenges, Goldar.
What do you need to do to complete it, well here’s the deal, you will need to complete the Giant Monster Mash task which consists of:
Peter Starts
Fight the Water Kaiju 2 Times
Fight the Flame Kaiju 2 Times
Fight the Earth Kaiju 2 Times
YOU HAVE 48 Hours IN WHICH TO COMPLETE ALL PARTS.

TinyCo haven’t said, the grand prizes are usually decorations, but I’m sorry I can’t say for sure that’s what Goldar will be.

I’m pretty happy of the general simplicity of these challenges (especially compared to the quahog heat ones) which is nice cause this end prize could very well be a full character. I personally only have to attack the water kaiju once more so all in all, I’m pretty psyched myself.

The prizes are usually decorations, so I’m not expecting anything different, however if it is I won’t complain, lol.

That one was super easy. I had the crystals and they had all just reappeared when the challenge started. In a few minutes, I was able to battle them all twice. I thought I was going to need more pink crystals to finish the second battle with the Fire one but it checked complete. You don’t need to beat them, only battle them.

Yes it’s just attacks. Nice easy challenge for a change, although not quite as easy as last weeks. 😀😀😀

Here’s my question: by fight them do they mean just simply attack them twice or do they mean completely defeat them twice?

How does this work? Do you need to battle the green kaiju when he has like 2 lives, and the life after that and you’re done or do you need to form a word 2 times?

If you only have the basic Triceratops Zord with 3 energy, you can only defeat at the 2 Heart Level, unless you’ve a load of crystals as to do the 5 Heart will require you building your Truceratops DinoZord 3 times, 3 x 2 damage costs 9 energy. So most of us just attacked the 2 Heart then waited almost a day for it to reset and attacked again at the 2 Heart until we had the 2 Blue Spray Paint, and unlocked Blue Ranger
Joe. Once you have him you can create an 8 energy DinoZord, which can defeat the 2 Heart and 5 Heart before running out of energy.
