A Very Griffin Holo-ween 101: Lost Hope Hospital (Phase 1-4)

Better put on your Hospital Masks and Orange Suits… there’s Contamination ahead!!

A Very Griffin Holo-ween has placed several Buildings in our Event Area that will offer up items to help us along in the Event.

During this post, I will be going into the details of the Lost Hope Hospital (Phase 1-4) and all you will encounter on the way.

As this is a combination post… hang in there as this will be a long one. Lots of information provided below.

WHERE IS THE LOST HOPE HOSPITAL? 

Over in your Event Area in your Game Play Screen, you will see the Lost Hope Hospital in the Upper Left Corner.

WHAT IS THE LOST HOPE HOSPITAL FOR? 

Buildings, Decorations, & Characters/Costumes for the Event. The Lost Hope Hospital is the place where you will trade the Brains you collected from the Quarantine Tent (and maybe an Achievement) to gain access to Buildings that will drop needed Materials & Character/Costumes that will help you progress through the Event.

WHAT MATERIAL WILL I NEED TO GET THE ITEMS IN THE LOST HOPE HOSPITAL?

Brains! This is where you will trade those Brains in from the Exchanges in the Quarantine Tent.

HOW DO I KNOW HOW MANY BRAINS I HAVE? 

Due to the Brains are a main form of Game Currency, there is a Brain Counter Icon at the Top Center of your Game Play Screen. It will reflect the current amount you have collected.

HOW DO I USE THE BRAINS TO UNLOCK AN ITEM IN THE LOST HOPE HOSPITAL? 

Go to your Event Play Area and tap on the Lost Hope Hospital. The Pop Up Screen will Appear showing the Current Phase of items available to you (If you want to go to a previous Phase, just tap on the arrows to go left/right to them).

Tap CRAFT on the Current Item that is available to unlock to pull up it’s information screen. You will see on the information screen the items $ and xp Payout (if applies) as well as how many Brains it will cost to get that item.

If you have enough Brains, it will say CRAFT. Tap on CRAFT to create the item.

The Completion Pop Up Screen will then appear saying GREAT JOB!

Tap on SPOOKY to place the item in your Quahog.

WHY CAN’T I MAKE AN ITEM? 

Trying to open a future item? The Lost Hope Hospital is set up in a way you can only open ONE item at a time and only in the order in which they appear. So you can’t skip ahead to a different item. Only the one that currently shows available.

Not enough Brains? Each item requires a specific amount of Brains in order to unlock it. If you do NOT have enough Brains, the items information screen will show BUY along with the current Clam Cost it would take to outright Clam Buy that item.

Item Expired? Some of the items that were released had a specific timer set up. If you did not get enough Brains to unlock them in time, or if you triggered the timer and let it run out… the item will expire, lock up, and you will not be able to access it again at that point.

 

So take a look at these options and see if that is why you are not able to unlock an item in the Lost Hope Hospital.

NOTE ON CLAM TIMERS: If you miss the timers on any Clam Rewards during Kill for Clams Achievement Tasks, the next one will NOT trigger. In other words, if you do not unlock any of the items in time offered, than you will not trigger any further offers.
