A few characters in Quahog have tasks to help you earn more Valentines…and a lot of you are asking which ones earn what, how often & how many. So…with out further ado let’s cover the who, what, where, when and how of Valentine’s Day tasks to earn you more Valentines!

So we’re into day two of the Valentine’s Day Event. As we’re all working on getting our bearings in this new event a lot of you have questions. And now that we’ve worked our way through just about all of phase 1 we’ve got answers for you!

Update 2/6 9:15 am EST: I know many of you are having issues with the PDA couples. They’re rough, I know. Here’s a tip that many readers have mentioned in the comments & something Bunny & I have found to work as well…Watch the limbs when they stop. If his leg goes up it’s a heart if her arm goes up it’s a broken heart. So make sure you’re watching when they STOP. And I know 2 minutes is rough to watch/tap…best thing to do if you think you need more time is send a request to TinyCo. We know they listen, so hopefully they’ll make an adjustment if enough people feel it’s needed. Good Luck!
UPDATE BUNNY: A more detailed post of the Couples is coming up really soon. It really comes down to just watching them. 😉

With Valentine’s Day approaching….iOS users just got the same pre-event update that Kindle users got….we thought we should have a little fun here at Addicts while we all anxiously await TinyCo “flipping the switch” for the Event. So let’s start the Love Connection….
We know from the event sneak peak and from Tiny Matt’s guest post on our site that matchmaking will be a big part of this event. In fact Tiny Matt even says: “For Valentine’s Day, we’re wondering:what would happen if a bunch of these characters went on dates?” So now we want to know…which characters in TQFS would YOU send on a date?
Tell us in the comments below who you would try to make a love connection with. It can be anyone from Alien dating Predator to Nathan Fillion dating Babs Pewterschmidt…the possibilities are endless! So don’t be shy and let’s all put on our best Chuck Woolery impressions and try to make a Quahog Love Connection!

With the introduction of Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff there’s a whole cast of characters to unlock in your rebuild effort of Quahog! These overview posts are designed to give you a quick breakdown of the characters, how you unlock them & their tasks so you can play FGG more efficiently!
Of course there will be those players who don’t want to know the details of unlocking the characters so for that reason we’ll post all of the details below the fold. So if you don’t like to know what’s going on before you play don’t click read more…CAUTION SPOILERS AHEAD
Now that District 9 is unlocked it’s time to take a look at the characters of the Downtown District. Vinny is the second character you’ll unlock in the Downtown District. It’ll take a bit of hard work collecting all the STUFF you’ll need to unlock him, but remember Districts are here to stay. So take your time with him and have some fun 🙂
So now let’s take a look at Vinny and his tasks….
Update 2/5: The same pre-event update has hit for iOS users. Remember…this is NOT the actual Event. Not yet. This is just preparing your device for when TinyCo “flips the switch”.

As a few of our Kindle players mentioned last night in the comments, TinyCo has released the basic update for Valentine’s Day to Kindle devices. No, this is not THE Valentine’s Day update. Instead this is just the basic App store drop (changes to the icon- Valentine’s Peter , but Splash Screen is the same for now), so the Kindle Players will be able to start the update once TinyCo “Flips the switch” (we hope). We’ve seen TinyCo do this before with events like Comic-Con & Halloween. Since they have no control over when the update will be approved by various markets, they’ll release the basic update in advance, but not turn it on yet.
Personally, I think this is a great move my TinyCo. Amazon has been notoriously SLOW at approving TQFS updates, which puts our Kindle friends at a massive disadvantage to starting events. Now, they should be able to start right on time with the rest of us!
Now there were a few sneak peaks at the upcoming Valentine’s Day Event with the Kindle release…and while I’m not one to post something for the sake of posting it, I know some of you are chomping at the bit to get some Valentine’s Day Spoilers. So let’s see just what was previewed with the Kindle Update….

A couple of weeks ago I asked for your take on the New Year’s mini-event that hit our Quahogs in early January and as usual you didn’t disappoint! You guys really love giving your feedback on events & we love breaking it down and sharing your opinions with TinyCo! You know they’re listening…especially with the latest Best of 2014 Event!

Remember that one time when you kept saying, “It would be great if TinyCo brought back…“? Well guess what TinyCo is doing? Once again, listening to YOUR requests. There will be some fun Characters coming back, and they all won’t be at once… so keep your eyes on your game over the next week as you will see lots of really cool Characters return and be available until Tuesday, February 3rd.
**In order to be able to see Characters/Costumes offered in your game, you will need to at least have unlocked District 3 as Al’s needs to be in your game to be able to get some of the Characters/Costumes put into play.*** (FYI, not all players will see the same Characters/Costumes offered as it will vary on what YOU have already and WHO you have unlocked in your game. If the Character is NOT unlocked/purchased, you won’t see the Costume in your list.)

UPDATE 1/30: Drops on Ankhs, Ghosts, and Screwdrivers should have increased. What does that mean? You should see MORE of them dropping now on completion of tasks. Better drop rates. They are watching and listening. 😉
