When I go to my neighbors I can collect from ollieland but when I try going to anyone else it says “Sorry family guy has stopped” and I have to restart my game.

Hi all, thanks for all the info and for the questions you’ve answered for others in the past. I finally have some of my own.
I’ve been maxed out at Level 50 for a couple of weeks, so have some questions:
– Shall I assume that the Max XP will increase in the future?
– If it does, will all of the XP that I’ve gained since I maxed out just be lost forever?
– I also have quite a bit of “cash” (~$340,000) and am considering buying some of the more lavish decorations (e.g,. Lincoln Memorial), but should probably wait if those come with XP points that will just be wasted while I’m maxed out at Level 50. Any opinions from you on this?

And actually I got a reply already (very quickly!) from TinyCo:
“Level 50 is the current Maximum Level in Family Guy, the Quest for Stuff. Once you reach this level you will continue to collect experience points, but your level will not increase. This XP will still count towards the next level if we do increase the Level Cap in the future!”
So, I think that answers that!

MAX will most likely increase in some point in the future.
XP usually stops accruing once you MAX
If you want to manage your money and XP benefit to the full potential, you may want to wait. 😉

Please help loving Halloween special however I have a problem with fragrance factory when I tap it it the game shuts down reported it name four times but no help forthcoming any suggestions appreciated thanks

Known issue. Just avoid the factory for now and report it to TinyCo. They are logging the tickets, but may not respond as they will send out a patch for all players.

Everytime I go to my friends when I try to load anyone besides Ollie land it says “we’re sorry Family Guy has stopped” and I have to restart the game. so I can only collect stuff from him.

It’s through the app stores, so only way to do it is what the app store will let you use. Basically credit card or gift card to that app store.

I have a question concerning the Halloween Event:
I brewed the zombie and the crystal ball, and placed them in my town, but as the game crashes every 2 minutes, it did not save and I have no idea where they were stored. I looked in the inventory already but cannot find them.

See if you go into movement mode if you can see them hidden behind some buildings.

So for the Halloween Event, I repaired that cemetery where Diane Simmons is a little too early and I never got Peter’s Ghost Buster Suit so I kind of wasted a bit of time. I don’t have enough of those jars to create that zombie decortion and I only have like an hour left before Diane is gone. Will I still have a chance to get her back or do I lose this chance to get her forever?

My husband lost his level 41 game and I am seething about Tinyco not answering his request for help. Can you copy your game and give a copy to someone else? Is there any way his game can be returned to him? It was attached to his Facebook.

I had a similar problem, but was able to resolve it by closing the app and force stopping it in my settings. Hope this helps.

my District 9 is still locked. How do I open this? I am at level 40.

Level has nothing to do with it. It has to do with districts. You can’t unlock D9 until you’ve cleared D8 and then you do the precious metals questline. After that you have to collect items for the blimp and then, once you’ve collected for the blimp you have 1 more quest to do and THEN D9 will open 🙂

Whenever I try to visit neighbours in Family Guy quest for stuff. It asks to sign into FB, I do then when I visit the neighbour the game crashes. Happens every time. I’m up to date and iPhone 5. Help.

It’s a known glitch. You have to contact TinyCo to let them know, it’ll be fixed on a case by case basis but only if you send in a support ticket.

When I got pink Brian was I supposed to get 50 claims I bought 50 and paid 15 to get him and then I thought it said I would get 50 more but didn’t add on

I’m not sure what exactly you saw. There was no clams tied to Pink Brian, so not clear with what you saw. There was a promo running if you buy coins you get clams, but not tied to Pink Brian.

i was collecting all my stuff and clicked on the workers shed by accident and when I went to click out of it it accepted the upgrade on it (3rd worker) how do I undo it ? It used all my clams I don’t need 3 workers !!!help

You can’t undo it. You can try to contact TinyCo and tell them what happened for a refund, but can’t promise they’ll refund you.

I got to fright level two and my clams went from 243 to 5?? What can I do about this? I didn’t purchase anything.

You can see if it’s just a glitch and try a force close of app and/or restart of device. Outside of that, only TinyCo would be able to look into your game to see why.

Just cleared the error! Appears that the last update for the app was not run. When I updated app, everything worked properly. Update was for Halloween characters.

Lost all my progress this weekend. I link my account with Facebook but when I sign in it just takes me to the tutorial. Tried signing in with other devices and it just shows me with the Griffin house. Facebook friends also only see that when they visit so it’s like all my progress is gone. I tried to send comments to tinyco through the game and also with their website to see if there was someway to restore my game. Has this happened to anyone else? If you have contacted tinyco how long does it take to respond and do they respond? I had all the characters, including ones from comiccon and others that are no longer available. Allot of time and clams spent 🙂 Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as I don’t want to stop playing this game. FYI, love this site. Please keep it up!

Yea me too. All my progress is gone. I did contact them. Waiting to hear. I hope I will hear soon cause I love playing this game. I too have put much time and clams into this cause of the love. Things that just cant be replaced. Hearing something would be cool cause it seems like this is happening to alot of people. Mostly, Im sad im missing the halloween fun.

It has been 3 days since I contacted them and just got an automated email asking if my question was with Diane Simmons and if not to reply to email but it also said “that due to heavy volume they may not be able to respond” so who knows if I will ever get a resolution. If they don’t fix my save I am done with this game! I really enjoyed the game when it wasn’t crashing. Now all I can do is visit this site and see all the cool stuff I am missing out on 😦

All that means is with a wide spread glitch issue, you may not get an individual message response…instead the patch will be sent to ALL players. That is what they refer to in the “not able to respond”. They are trying to manage the time spent on emails so they can get through them quicker and help MORE players faster. Replying to a million emails is very time consuming.
If your issue still needs resolution, then do as they recommended and email them back. 😉

Hi there! Is there any way to have the one game file on both an android and ios device? My phone is android and I have an ipad at work, so it’d be uber to update my progress on both devices! Otherwise, how do you change from one to the other? It’s currently on the ipad, is it easy enough to take the save file and switch it to the android game? Cheers!

Yes you can jump across devices (and platforms) with your same game as long as you have an accounted created for it… 🙂

For about two days now whenever I try to play the game is shows the loading page and then a consuela message pops up that says ENGINE_CONFIG_ERROR_TITLE and when I press ok it reloads again. This repeats the whole time

How do you properly word out that your fragrance factory has bug issues? When I did report other bugs it gave an automatic reply based on my words. So yeah how to I properly word it out?

Auto replies many times are so you know they got it. Impossible to individually reply to millions of players.
Just make sure key word fragrance factory is in there.

I haven’t been able to play the game since the update. I keep getting a Consuela error message of “Connection Lost” with a try again button underneath it. Of course trying again doesn’t do anything. So far I haven’t seen anyone else with this particular error message. I am able to play just long enough to do the first Halloween quest (which I have now done about 40 times, lol) and then it gives me that message. All of my characters are still moving around behind the error message, so the game doesn’t exactly freeze up, it just won’t let me do anything. This has been going on for the last 3 days, and none of my progress is being saved. It just reverts back to the beginning of the Ghostbusters quest. I have done everything from re-installing, to restarting, to force stopping the game, absolutely nothing is working. I have Mayor West, Pink Brian and Kool-Aid guy, so I know those aren’t glitching me up. I didn’t have this or any issue with Comic-Con, so I’m stumped. I have sent in multiple tickets, with screenshots, so far no responses. I’m dying to play these quests and so very frustrated by this. By the way, my OS is Kindle Fire HD. Any thoughts or info you could give would be greatly appreciated.

My WiFi connection seems to be fine. All of my other apps work. I did a little experiment. I logged out of my account and restarted as guest, just to see what would happen…none of that connection lost nonsense, and I let it run for a good 5 minutes before going back to my other account. As soon as I logged in and started the Ghostbuster quest, I got the error. Checked to see if my WiFi signal was on/strong and it was. I guess it has to do with the update…it appears as thought my level 40 game is glitched now 😦

Just started familyguy a few days ago ( been simpsons addicted for months) and for what ever reason it wont show me in facebook when i sign in. I went onto my fb settings and it says im loges in on family guy but i dont see any fb friends. My hubby cant see me either. Is there anything i need to do to hopefuly fix this?

Hello,
When I started playing QFS, I had setup my account using the email method. Now, I would like to link my game to my facebook account. When I attempt to do this (signing into fb through the game) QFS will not keep me logged into fb. It does mention that the game is linked to my fb account, it just won’t keep me signed in.
I have cleared the data for the game and signing in through the fb link, but that takes me back to level 1. Essentially forcing me to start over.
Is it at all possible to accomplish this, or am I stuck with not linking my facebook account?

Every time I go to click on the buildings section of the menu the app closes down and goes back a few stages I.e I unlocked Connie and went to insert a new building for a Louis challenge and the app closed, when I opened the app again I had to unlock Connie again? I’m getting annoyed now

Why can’t I see my friends? I seemed to have lost them on the Halloween update. I keep getting a login to Facebook message where my friends should appear. When I try logging in with Facebook I get kicked out of the game. I have a 2nd generation iPad running iso 7.

It’s a glitch going on at the moment. You’ll have to contact TinyCo to let them know you’re impacted so they can fix it for you. It’s a case by case basis for it for repair…

Im so freaking out. My quahog town is gone. My son and I use the same ipad to go into our towns. We went in this a.m. the same way we always do. And no quahog. On either account. We are connected with facebook and google and cant see the accounts. We love this game and have put so much time and a little money, because we do love it so much. Its just gone. Dont have a clue whats up. I put a message into tiny co and I hope we hear soon. So the question I have, anyone with this issue too? How long till you generally hear from tiny co? You ladies do such a wonderful job with this site and seem to know almost everything about this world. Just thought maybe you would be able to help.

This can be fixed BUT you’ll have to contact TinyCo to have it fixed. They can fix it and restore your game, but only if you contact them and let them know what happened. Also, be patient, because it’s not the easiest fix to do…but it can be done. 🙂

How do I take someone out of a task early? I don’t want to speed them up with clams, just don’t want to finish a 24 hrs task.

Keep getting array can not found character dialog. I have tried EVERYTHING. Un install, reboot, refresh, reload, clear cache, check my dialog. Check settings, I mean everything and it still will not let me play the game.

after I unlocked mayor west I should have all 36 characters but the bottom shows 35/36, facespace also shows 35/36 but I count the people and 36 people are there. any ideas?

I’m playing on a very old iphone and just got a newer iphone (4s) how do I link the game to my new phone as, unlike Simpson, there is no sign in at the start of Q.F.S. game. Thought it might be linked to my apple account but appears not to be. Cheers guys and keep up the stunning work!

You needed to save your account to a Facebook or email. If you still have access to the other device, save the game you had.
