What market are you trying to get them from? Have you tried exiting the game, restart device? Or exit game, log out of the app market, restart, log back into app market, launch game, try again? Check Signal?

In the Christmas event I havent received any gifts from Ollie or my neighbors. Why is this? I send them gifts everyday. There are 3 neighbors with gift boxes in the upper right hand corner of their picture. What does that mean?

I really appreciate you responding so quickly, however whatever I try, I keep getting the TV icon on the account info page, like it’s trying to connect. I am signed into my Google+ account but the game can’t seem to log in. The account info page is essentially locked out, if I cancel the sign in and just ‘play now’ then select menu, account info, I can no longer select any options at all and have the TV icon. Is there a way to stop the continual attempts by the game to sign in without accidently deleting data?

Get rid of the app linked to the g+ if you can. Then maybe it’ll stop. Outside that, you can reach out to them from your game menu to see if they can help you make a transfer of your account to something else.

Hi there, My problem is specifically related to signing into Google+.
I have been playing the game since early October, and only recently realised that it’s beneficial to be logged/ signed into either Facebook or Google+ to back up one’s game data.
I don’t have a Facebook account, but I do have a Google+ account which I don’t use, but the app is installed on my Android phone.
When I try to sign into this account via the game, all that happens is the small animated TV logo in the centre of the screen, like it’s trying to connect, but never does.
Now, each time I launch the game, I see the normal launch screen, then the account info page with the animated TV logo until I cancel it, and it gives the option to either ‘sign in’ or ‘play now’.
Basically, I can only play the game as a guest. I have tried to find others online with similar problems and haven’t really found anything of use, other than someone saying that they had played the game for a while, attempted to sign into Google+, then had their progress erased and had to restart their game from the beginning – which I most definitely want to avoid as I have nearly 3 months of progress to potentially lose.
Sorry this is so long winded, it’s quite hard to articulate the problem into words that one can understand.

Might I suggest still using the Google email OR use a different Email and take just the generic Email account link option. Outside of that, others create “alternate” Facebook profiles just for the game.
As for the basics, it may be a connection issue. At times your device itself needs to be logged in to the linked account, ie…you need to FIRST log into the account, THEN launch the app and try to sync the two. If that is not working, you may need to go back to your device and troubleshoot ensuring it is actually signing into that account. In this case, make sure you launch g+ first and are logged in, then launch the app to sync it. The game will search for that already logged in account and if it can’t locate it, will just sit and idle while it tries again and again.
Main thing is this, if you have concern at all get your Player ID (Menu, Account, long # in lower right corner) screenshot as well as current screen progress screenshot so you have document of where you are in the game.

If they are all gone, it sounds like you lost the link. Is your game normally linked to Facebook for saving your game? Is that how you set it up?

So I have been getting a problem as of the last 2 days now. I own a android phone and what is happening is every few minutes or so the game would crash and stop working. My account just fine just didn’t save my last few actions. I figured I’d uninstall and reinstall the app and got into my account again just fine, but now some characters audios don’t show up and it still seamed to crash every few minutes. How were you logged into Family Guy from the other device? Email? Facebook? You need to make sure you log in the EXACT way your account was linked before. Did you link it?

It is the way the payout or “drop”. It means you may see an item approx almost always (common) or approx once every 5 or 6 times you try (rare).

Hey im trying to login to my facebook to spread Xmas cheer to neighbors but i hit a snag. I signed up with an email account and am trying to link it up with my facebook account to no avail. It’ll login to the facebook account but when i try to go back it restarts the game. Any ideas?

If you linked it with an email, you have to UNlink the email first before being able to switch the account.

My account is under an email account and my Facebook is the same account. I linked it to my Facebook just now, left came back and now I got to go through the beginning again.

But if it was linked to an email, did you UNlink it from that email first? You have to stop using the one in order for it to be able to use another. Even if the email is the exact same address, it all comes down to if you selected the option of Email, Gmail (g+), or Facebook originally. You have to sever that link. If you used Facebook originally, then it should have carried over. If you used Email or g+, that has to be stopped or it won’t have a way to link to Facebook as it can’t link to two accounts at the same time.

My original account was ******* linked from Facebook but that Facebook account got shut down. So I changed email accounts through the game with another email ****. Now I got my original game and am trying to delete my old so I can link it to my Facebook name (******) but its not registering it in the game. Long story short, if I change emails to another account (*****) and connect to Facebook with my real email (*****…) will this work? Sorry if I’m confusing you.

I have two Family Guy Quest accounts. One on my iPad and one on my Android. I could not get the update on my iPad so I had to start over. My question is can I merge these accounts on my Android? My Android is level 30 but my iPad has all the “for a limited time” characters. I dont want to lose either game, is there a way?

Were you not able to save the one on your iPad to an email or Facebook? Can you get to the menu to get the Player ID for it?
If linked to an account…it is just a matter of logging into it on another device. As for if it was not, that is something you would have to talk to TinyCo about. I do not think they can merge two accounts, but they may be able to help locate your other account so you can still log into it on the new device.

It depends on what YOU really want. There is still more to come so I don’t know what will show in the other boxes or in the game for purchase with Cookies. I would say if you collect Cookies & Stockings fast, go for it.

I have the new note4 and i only get sound voices from peter, chris and herbert. But not even all the voices! I used to play on my iphone 5 and everything was fine with that phone. I have tried uninstalling it, and still nothing. Let me know what you come up with.

After playing for a while, i recently setup a gaming FB acct so that i can participate in the gift exchange (gift giving is great). I know how to get daily clams from visiting Ollieland, but i cant seem to get any clams from visiting my new friends. Any tips?

Have they ever fixed an issue like this before? I’m really bummed about it because I’m already on level 40, have played everyday and still have about 200 clams remaining… then somebody accidentally deletes my facebook account on the app. Damn,

The main ones that help customer service are not around on the weekends, so they just started going through messages yesterday. Did you send the message from the new game?

It’s not over. Just make sure you don’t clear the new game off your device or you’ll miss any replies.
As far as time…remember you messaged them going into a weekend (main tech is not in on weekends). Normally it can take up to 3 business days for a reply. Today is the start of the 3rd business day (its only 730 am there, so they’re not even in yet).
If you don’t hear anything by today (check for the automated messages too) message them again tonight restating your issues and asking for a follow-up.

Finally got my progress back! 🙂 They were able to locate my game. Yay! Unfortunately I am now getting the “Event Ending Prematurely” error. But it’s all good, I’m just happy they got the old game back ^_^ Just gonna ff up on the new issue. Thanks y’all. Merry christmas (in advance) everyone!!!

Are you able to get into your game at all? Can you message them from your menu? If not, send them an email at help@tinyco.com and explain what is going on if standard troubleshooting doesn’t help.

Hi,
I have a constant FaceSpace notification when I am on the main screen of the game, but when I go on FaceSpace there are no updates for any character. I have also gone on every character’s profile a number of times to double/triple/quadruple check that I’m not missing a notification, and I’m definitely not! But the little red exclamation mark is still at the bottom of my screen on the FaceSpace button. It’s really bugging me! Can someone please help?

Hi I have a question:) I just got my girlfriend to start playing this on her phone and she didn’t have Lois yet but she could still wrap presents in Santa’s workshop. But now she got Lois and she can’t complete the first quest to make the holiday gift box because she’s already made them all and it’s locked so there’s no way to beat the quest. Is there anything she can do? Without doing the quest she will never be able to play the Christmas event.

Hi. I just unlocked Jasper for Xmas event and now when I click on the Xmas workshop( for gift wrapping) I get an error code and booted. The error code is as follows:

I signed out with Facebook and connected with google instead. I tried to uninstall/reinstall and now I have 2 saves…one level 1 the other level 40 but 40 doesn’t load via Facebook or Google. I haven’t reported it yet, not sure how to as I can’t access the settings on the games app. Do you have a link I could use?

How is it linked on your phone? When you go to Menu, Account….how does it say you are logged in? Facebook? Email?

Is there any way to Change the facebook account the game is linked to? I started on my personal facebook account, but didn’t realize the benefits of adding friends and don’t want a ton of strangers on my facebook. I created a new Facebook account and really don’t want to start over. Is there any way to take my lvl 50 game and move it to my new account?

According to their latest discussions with me on this, you are able to do so…but do so with caution. The main thing is first to log your current status (like a screenshot of the money/clams/level etc. Then take a screenshot of your player ID (menu, account, long number lower right corner). All so you have an record of where you are game wise.
Once that is done, then the process starts. In that same Account screen, you will see a blue button option to “Delete Facebook”. Tapping this will delete the link between your Facebook account and your game. Once you do that, you can re-link it to the profile you want.
Just make sure your link it to the new Facebook and not the one you are on now.
