I have read how to unlock Olivia I believe I have done everything and finifhed all the fine arts district quests but Olivia is still locked she does not have the triceratops. Why is this?

I’m playing this game on my fairly new desk top computer. The game froze and would do even get past the title page and a green screen. There is no way to find the game again – I read all about registering an account to recover BUT when I go to the main menu all I get are – settings and inventory – nothing else (and it isn’t under settings either). How can I register when there is no place to register? I’ve now lost this game twice – and I was quite a bit into the game the first time. I downloaded it on from Microsoft Windows Shop – I have a facebook account but that didn’t help as I never got a chance to register – I even restarted the game again to see if the registration thingy would show up but it didn’t. What am I doing wrong?Nice game but now I am teed off. Not a gamer and not a computer savy person but even I could find the menu and the account register place IF it was there.

Nothing. The info here and the main game is in Mobile App Market. Windows is a stand alone system and doesn’t function same or have same options.

Thank you – so Windows players are never going to be able to create an account. Thank goodness I didn’t spend any real money on this game. I found a way to run it as if it was on a phone but the size of the playing area is way too small to be any fun – you end up scrolling around just to find level one characters. Anyway thanks much for the answer – they ought to tell people downloading from Windows they will be screwed if the game malfunctions.

Meghan, if you had created an account you won’t lose anything. you’ll just have to sign back in. Go to your Google play store and look up the family guy game and it should say update Instead of install. If it doesn’t say that, then uninstall the game and reinstall it. open the game after it’s installed and when you’re in the city go to account and log in.

While trying to load, the game says “data error, retry” and never actually loads. I really don’t want to uninstall… is the game itself down? I noticed once I reached level 2 in the star trek event it started to glitch. I was told to clear trekkies that I couldn’t actually see. I’ve tried stopping and restarting the application, as well as restarting my phone.

That is usually something on your end. It is most likely a storage issue. Try clearing out some space on your device and make sure you are on a good strong signal.
In the meantime, save your game to an email or Facebook. Just somewhere so you have a back up for it. That way if you have to uninstall your game is still backed up to just reload.

I lost a builder that I bought. I did the press and hold down on my building (furniture store) And it disappeared. I wanted to sell it but I guess I selected some other option. Can I get it back? It Sucks because I paid about 4000 coins. Please help.

As long as you save your game to a Facebook or Email account. Then it is just a matter of logging into the new game.

I downloaded Family Guy Quest For Stuff, I tried to restart the whole thing like the rest of my games that starts all over. I tried, but it still have my place. Is there a way to restart the whole game and start a new one?

Completely wipe it off your device cache/data and make sure you have no back up or links to Facebook/email. If so unlink them. Then also make sure you have nothing on the cloud saved for it or from your markets. Then it should be all gone.

Well I can assure you I’ve got a LOT more to lose than you in my game. I’m also linked to Facebook. Right in the menu, account screen you’ll see your save info listed as name on Facebook and lower right being Player ID #. Take a screen shot of it.
Facebook hates my name and has shut down my account many times. Due to this, not only have I uninstalled and Reinstalled the game too many times to count… I’ve also completely in linked and refined ALL my account progress from one Facebook name to another. No problems as of yet. I just get the game to Level to the menu option… pop into the account menu… log back into Facebook… and LOAD my saved game. 😉
If you’re having crashing issues, it’s most likely your device. This is what I do for those issues.

When is Star Trek event going to finish? I have got to the point of stop playing from all these connection lost errors popping up, I can’t even move screen without it coming up. I have tried force closing, shutdown device, disconnect and reconnect internet, I refuse to uninstall and reinstall because I’m so far in… It only started this often since this event started. I have plenty of space on the device and tinyco haven’t responded to my in app msg

You need to make an account. Regardless if you play this event or not. It’s the ONLY way to save your progress. If you don’t you’re risking losing what you worked for.
A lot of fixes can be done by uninstall. Especially if you have a corrupt file

Star Trek is not available on Windows. Currently there are no plans to update the Windows game. If you’d like to play the most current events/get the latest updates they have to be played on Android/iOS.

Something very strange is going on. My blimp has completely disappeared. I had noticed that it had stopped dropping goodies a few days ago and the last time I activated it, it just disappeared. I still need two more things to get Olivia. Has anyone else reported this? I sent tinyco a message in-game, but I have not heard back.

You’re not done. The Blimp traveling is just one part of three and four part questlines. To get items, you need to finish. All the dialog that goes with the questline. Once to end of dialog…then item drops.

Same problem here. Collected 13 plutonium 5 times and still need 2 items to open Olivia. Blimp has disappeared and none of the characters will drop plutonium now.

Where in the questline are you? You MUST follow the questline to send the blimp…not just send the blimp. it won’t bring items back unless the questline tells you to send it. Just continue through the questline and the items should appear for you. But move through the questline.

I also have the same problem. I hadn’t been sending the blimp via the quest and now blimp and option for the plutonium to drop on characters is gone so no way to continue the questline…

Actually… Just completed yet another post on this. It will be up shortly. You are just not done yet. The Blimp makes a total of 5 trips before it is finished. However, each trip includes dialog too that drops/unlocks the remaining items. If you just sent the Blimp over and over… you have completed that portion. Now you just need to complete the dialog/quests that went with it. Each one is 3 to 4 parts, the Blimp being just 1 part of them. 😉

Has anyone just recently had the load error : some placeables are out of bounds? I was able to login yesterday morning & play, & then about midday went to go collect things, & it gave me the error… & now won’t let me play. I want to play!!! 😦

I can’t load either. Each time i open the game I get a Data Error. I recently cleared up my phone, have done many hard resets on my droid and still can’t get it to open. And recently when i’ve opened the game, my phone restarts randomly and I have to re-do everything i’d just done!

Outside the basics… the next step is them. Usually Data Error is on your device side. Could be something else.

Yep, done all of those, still have 5gb on my device, & it still doesn’t load. I’m rather annoyed! Im level 54 & any other issues were easy fixes.

This is the feedback we are getting from TinyCo (many items were in links I gave you)….
We’re collecting more information for this error at the moment, as there can be multiple causes for this to appear. These are the steps we are recommending:
– Free up storage space. You can do this by deleting unused apps, pictures, and videos on your device.
– Clear your cache. If you are on an Android device, tap and hold the icon in the app drawer. Drag it to ‘app info’ and then tap ‘Clear Data.’
– Uninstall and reinstall the game. (Only do this if your game is connected to an account!)
– Load your game on a different device by logging in to your account.
If the issue persists after following these steps, please have them contact us.

When will TinyCo. get their heads out of their rear ends and do something to make their product useable on Windows? No saving option. Stops after district 8. NO special events. No special characters. I don’t want to put it on my phone because they want so many permissions that they don’t need.

Matt answered about Windows in our Q & A you can find the answer on it here..
The short of it is…this game is intended to be a mobile app on iOS and Android. If you want to play it with all the updates everyone else sees you’ll have to play it on a iOS or Android device. The windows version is meant to be a stand alone option, one that can be played offline if needed. Therefore it doesn’t get the same updates the other version gets. And currently nothing new is planned for it.

Matt did speak on it during the Q&A. It’s a stand alone system from the mobile and needs other focus on what’s there before adding more to it. No updates now, but they’ll see what future brings.
As for permissions, I don’t see any that 1000 other apps now request too. So I personally don’t mind. But that’s your choice to not want to give them.

No you only need to reach Star Fleet Level 2 to move on (ie complete the main questline). The Blue one is energy, energy most likely that will come into play during Phase 2.

So I’ve just unlocked Olivia and set her to do her first task then my game crashed. Opened it back up and Olivia was locked again and I’ve lost my 13 plutonium.

Any way I can get them back without having to go through it all again?

What was the last thing you did to unlock her? If the game reverted back from the crash and didn’t save, just redo the last thing you did to get her and see if that helps.

I’m really excited for the new Star Trek quest line and to gain experience to level up. But ever since I started the quest line, my experience says “Max” even though I’m at level one. I’ve collected experience for some of the quests I’ve completed, but the Max doesn’t go away, and when you open it up, the progress bar never seems to move.

As you move through it you’ll unlock the quest that’ll repair the Warp Core. Once you do that your level will move to Warp Core Level 1

I’m stuck with 171/155 Dilithium to rescue commander Riker.
No new tribbles in 48 hours. It also says that it will cost 2 clams to skip this step, but when i try to do this it says:
“ERROR Dont have enough currency to complete bribe riker_Bribe_Join_4”
and the game restarts.

How much memory is available on your device? I know this event is a giant memory suck (especially with two play spaces)…and if you don’t have a done of space on your device it could cause a lot of crashing issues

If you saved it to an email or Facebook it’s just a matter of playing the new device to the point of menu unlock (Chris holding antenna) then going into menu to log into your account and LOAD your saved game on the Level you’re at. Just pay attention to the options

If you just sent the Blimp away on all 5 of its trips… it is done. However, the Blimp is just ONE part of 3 & 4 Part dialog Questlines. You need to finish that dialog to get the items for Olivia.

So without having that option of an amazon platform playing friend available I was still able to understand what you meant and able to successfully use my credits. I had to uninstall my game and reinstall it through amazon app market vs google play store and once I linked the fresh install to my user id via amazon (and skipping the google logon) I was able to complete my purchase through amazon (it was the only payment method available). It was a lot of work but totally worth it to cash in on my free $20 amazon app store credits. 600 clams baby-hell yea! I couldn’t have done it without your help and suggestion. Thanks a million!

Does tinyco accept amazon appstore payments for item purchases? I have only ever made purchases via google play or with my credit card but I have a balance on amazon I’d like to use. My account is linked to amazon in the game settings but when I choose an item for purchase and go to payment methods I don’t see anything except my google play balance, paypal, my credit card, etc. Please tell me I’m missing something and that tinyco will accept amazon appstore credit!?! I’ve never used amazon app store for anything; having an android smartphone as my primary playing device I’ve essentially defaulted to using gmail/google play.
However, I did see the coins you referenced (although) I have none). I ccontacted amazon they said my credits were valid and any issue I was having was likely a developer issue (I.e. either they don’t accept amazon app store or im experiencing a tech glitch). I did email tinyco but don’t expect an immediate response because they’ve got lots of other stuff on their plate.
I just thought it weird to not see any amazon payment options-even if it were “coins” I don’t see an option to use coins. Isn’t it odd for the game to link up via amazon but not use amazon app payment options?
Sorry if I’m wordy or repetitive I’m just anxious. Thanks again for your help!

K… so here is the issue then… you can ONLY access the app market linked to the device. AKA iOS- Apple, Android – Google, Kindles- Amazon, etc. So to use a product for Amazon, you would need to borrow a friends Amazon device, log into your account, buy what you need, log back out, go to your device.
