My game crashed on my android in the barrel scene to open the 3 coins.
Now when I reload my game. It is stuck in that page and keeps crashing.
I uninstalled and reinstalled. I killed the app. cleared everything. even tried to install on another device to no AVAIL

I am having the same problem, froze on barrel opening, and stuck when the game tried restarting after that. Deleted the app and reloaded….. bad mistake I guess, I am now back at the start of the game, have lost everything….

I currently don’t use a Facebook login for QFS. Is there any advantage to using one? I heard somewhere about adding friends to get extra clams or something…..true?

You can add friends and see their towns and you can get 1 clam per day from visiting a different town, although most of the time I get the clam from just visiting Ollieland.
It also saves your game progress, so if you need reinstall or put on he device you wont lose your game progress.

Freaks and geeks pt7 let lois frighten away the nerds, everytime i try to click on it it comes up with a blank message box with consuela and lois has no activities to do when i click on her i also tried deleting the app and tryin again but no joy any clues to why its not playin ball?

I have an iPhone 6. I opened one of the Q*bert pyramid packs and when it opened it froze on that screen. I turned my phone of with soft reset, checked again got the same thing. Deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled it and it when right back to the same thing. My has been like that for almost 4 days now. I sent message to tiny co and got one back saying to read through the lastest trouble shoots to see if any of that would help but nothing has resolved the problem. However glad to see others are having similar issues. Lets me know it’s not something I have done.

Any idea why ALL my Facebook “neighbors” on my page suddenly disappeared? I can’t invite them back to the game, seeming to suggest that the game already considers them my neighbors.

I had similar issues when I let someone log into their Facebook on my device. I got my neighbours back by quitting Facebook, logging out and back in. Maybe worth a try?

Hey guys, I’ve been playing FGQFS since 2014 and this is the first time I’ve been to this site—I’m loving it, there are other FGQFS addicts, like me!
ANyways, I’m letting my son play FGQFS on the pc ( well actually he only plays when it doesn’t involve grinding quest items, that’s my job) there hasn’t been an event update available for the oz or Christmas: are there basic requirements for these i.e. character unlocked, level, questline completion?

They won’t go in there as they are Characters with crucial drops for the Event. Not sure why you would want to store critical Characters to help in an Event.

I got the donut place from no place like quahog, it went straight into my inventory and darkened, marked as locked. Now that the event is over, it’s still locked and I can’t do anything with it!

Do you mean the Donut Hole Diner from Phase 2? If so… you will need to message them from your game if that is the case.

This usually means you’ve earnt a skin for a building you’ve yet to purchase. It’ll be the skin in the inventory, not the building.

Usually when the event ends all chances to recruit a character go with it, so I would presume that you will not be able to get her if the event ends and you didn’t complete all the tasks.

No you need to have completed the Wishlist and have her unlocked in your game before the end of the event. Hopefully the extension will help you out 😀

Hi! I put jailhouse Meg’s questline on hold while doing an event and now I see it has an analog clock next to it. It has also sly lipped to the bottom of the list. Is there a timer on it?

Tasks will slip down the queue but we usually only see a timer appear when TinyCo are trying to ensure Questlines we possibly cannot complete due to not purchasing an item don’t clog up our task bar. The only item that has a timer on it for me at the moment is the Oz weekly challenge quest.

I did the quest for Peter to Store 30 items – How do I get the buildings back? I can not see the ones that I got from the characters (Lighthouse, oceanland) and the other buildings from the Haunted forest (with james woods)

They will be in your inventory. Either filter and go to the event or district they came with or look through the buildings menu.

There’s no way to simply cancel a worker once they are building and speeding up the building will cost you clams.

Tuesday I went into game and found that connie, Brian, Meg, Carter, Dr hartman, seamus, stewie have been dropped from hotel. I’ve tried for last three days to put them back in as they have nothing to do in Oz. But they don’t show to be entered.

My game keeps kicking me out. This is the only app on my iPad that does this. I put characters to work, I’ll move around the BAM my screen turns black & boots me out. I’ve cleared my history, delete all my emails,texts,contacts,events,most of my apps & deleted the game & redownloaded it. Is there a tech problem going on or do I just need to give up on the game? This keeps causing me to fall further behind on events.

That’s interesting, because ever since the Oz game started, my iPhone app keeps crashing when I try to load the game, but the iPad mini is thankfully still reliable.

You need to have a Facebook account, either your own personal one or a second one created just for the game. Log into Facebook with the account you want your game to link to then open the FGQFS game, go to settings and account info, select Facebook and follow the onscreen instructions. You know, I stopped playing on Windows Stand Alone. They do not support it as much really. It was a test stand alone game and only goes to District 8 then stops just as you hit District 9. All I can suggest is to reach out to them to see if there is any further tips they can give you.

Could be a memory issue on your device, when trying load other towns that are maybe higher in content than your own Quahog. Do you have the Low Memory Graphics choice in your game settings. If so try using that then visiting a friends town.

Russian, its the same thing as mine. It’s affecting lots of players…seems to affect those that have been on the game a long time(years) it resets you to 0. I think it’s that ddos attack. It stinks and I hope they fix it or a lot of players might sue and will stop playing. Hope that doesn’t happen.

If it helps mine has been both iPad and iPhone. And when you try to log out it already shows you logged in. So the log out log in trick no longer works. That’s about all the help I can give. These ddos people think they are doing something good but all they do is hurt others and steal from those who spend their hard earned money, it’s sad. Skip the prison time put them to pasture. Russian Tigger, and Bunny. They have fixed my game. It is a known issue. It’s for seasoned players (played for years) it was part of the ddos attack that occurred Saturday. They reset the time stamp. So good news, years of a town etc has been fixed bad side is tasks I had started that should be finished are exactly where they were before, so expect to be a tad behind. Still happy to have all of my stuff back including world prizes… yes I am one of the crazy ones who spends lots of clams. Happy it’s fixed. Everyone affected mention the time it was last working and a screen shot of your Id.

Honestly… we don’t know and nothing is being discussed and/or shared publicly on it. All we can do is wait and see.
From what I’ve seen in this game as well as many others…Legal is a HUGE issue why so many cool things never come to pass.
TinyCo is a 3rd party in all this. They don’t own Family Guy, they just provide a game about it. But they still have to fully get all agreements and contracts legally just for Family Guy Characters to be used.
Just imagine the hoops they have to jump to go even further beyond that to TV and Movie Houses to get rights. It was even discussed during their Reddit Q&A about legalities of Characters. I’m still hoping for a Blue Harvest Moon Event myself. But that’s all to House of Mouse now for legal release.
In the end, if even ONE portion of copyright holders say no… they can’t legally use things.
I hope what ever the legal hiccup was it gets resolved. If not, sadly, there’s nothing anyone can do. 😦

Hey Russian I wrote bunny but wanted to let you know. It was the ddos attack people need to supply the last time the game was functioning properly and a screen shot of the id. Tinyco fixed my town, good news it’s fixed bad news the task I started are exactly where they were when it crashed. So a tad behind. Everyone’s will hopefully be fixed soon.

Hi, Im still on district 8, iv done all the jobs but nothing is happening, the last job i done was to make meg into the prison meg. i also collected all the items for sailor stewie but its not showing that i can create that character.. this happened the first time i tried so i started all over again and now its doing the same thing ???

Where is Mulder and Scully. I read online they had a legal issue at the last second and had to pull the characters hence the App Store no longer mentioning them. I questioned this as it is the internet, so I reached out to Tinyco, they said they can’t comment on it. I’m scared my Halloween is ruined as I grew up watching the x files and love it dearly. Any word if they didn’t get the rights? Is Halloween ruined or is the truth out there?

You’ve been very nice Russian Tigger, I’m probably your annoying fan but appreciate your responses. I see above others are having the same problem too. It seems to be the folks who have been playing a long time. I read online their was a huge ddos attack affecting Netflix, PlayStation, Xbox, more companies than normal. That the government is actually involved since it was that bad. I’m thinking tinyco was a victim of this as well and it reset the servers for some. Hopefully it gets fixed. Make sure there is not a space after it anywhere. Did you ever change or update your email? Use a different email to save it to the other device or swap to Facebook save?

for some reason the haunt event just isnt on my game anymore since the case 2 update. it worked fine i even had woods but now nothing .i can only collect coins . i tried uninstalling and all that but no help.

I have a dilemma. I lost over 400 clams with the last update before the Halloween event(closer to 500 I believe, I know I could easily afford Consuela and Brain Damaged Horse, but I was waiting to see if there were any new characters in the next event). I contacted Tiny Co three times in game but they won’t help as they have no record. I’ve spent a lot of money over the years to get clams, especially in the last few events. I could check all my google purchases and get a better idea of the amount(divided between my phone-with the issue and my tablet(on which I didn’t loose any clams). Right now, I’m using up clams I do have and taking screen shots but when I’m done, I think I won’t be playing any more. Any advice will be appreciated. Paul

Are you playing two games, one on your phone, one on your tablet? I would take screenshots of your Google receipts and send them to TinyCo along with full details of the game affected and date clams on your account changed. The email is help@tinyco.com

Two different games(accounts) on two different devices. There was an issue a while ago with FG reverting back to level one. I got frustrated after many attempts to load the game and eventually just started a new one, which I also play all the time.
I don’t remember the exact date of the clam loss after the update, but it was maybe a day or two before the Halloween event started(My tablet .version didn’t loose any clams, but I also don’t remember it updating before the event).The game(phone) crashed about a week earlier when sending a character on a job, I forget which character. This issue was addressed and the game seemed to work fine. I’ll try sending the google play purchase info, I guess it couldn’t hurt. Thanks, Paul

I accidentally purchased something I never wanted to. While the game was loading in I was taling to someone. The second I looked down I realized I had purchase a 2nd worker for 50 clams… I accidentally touched the screen… apperently 3 times…
Now, they say there’s a confirmation pop-up. So you have to touch the Worker’s Bunks, THEN touch Upgrade, THEN touch Confirm before spending hard earned clams.
So it just loaded Quahog, and it was less then half a second for how long I touched the screen and the clams were gone… From the corner of my eyes I saw the Upgrade sign and tought I could still back up, but no, I got a second worker… accidentally…
I don’t think there was a confirmation pop-up, I could’ve seen it. Also, my game is kinda slow from time to time so I just can’t comprehend how could it perform 3 taps in half a second…
Is there really no way to restore this? Am I screwed?

You would need to send an in game message to TinyCo, whether they refund you and remove the worker would be their decision.

Thank you for replying. I guess you’re talking about the support page. Under the Billing article I found that they don’t return virtual currency, but real money purchases. In my case I didn’t spend money on clams, so I don’t really know, but I might give it a try and email them.

I don’t know what your Clam count is, or where you are in the game, but at some point you are probably going to want that extra Worker. (Clearing land can tie one up for a long time, and sometimes “emergency” building construction needs to be done. :)) If you can afford it, you may want to keep it. (Though i admit that the extra becomes less useful again, later in the game.)

I have 2 workers, come in handy when new land needs cleared as I can send 1 away for prolonged time knowing I’ve another if needed. But these workers sure get too much time off, I want a job like that, lol

I am clearing a block whenever I can, the events doesn’t really require clearing space or building stuff that takes time (like most of the buildings in the main gameplay) in the questlines so this is the perfect time for that (meaning I don’t have to worry about being stuck in the event because my worker is clearing a block), this way I will have a ton of space hopefully and never need another worker. But I ain’t even mad anymore. At least I can clear faster.

Yes it seems most of the event buildings are instant builds now unlike before where workers were needed, maybe one day they will come in handy again.

I had purchased Area 51 in hopes of approx. 150+ clams by November (on top of its 250 clams price that I’ll hopefully get back if I collect on time), so I had about 90 clams left before another 50 were gone. *long “rant” alert* I wanted to save up for Consuela, but then I realised that actually none of the premium characters are worth it since they don’t get me much stuff, only some coins, so they’re kind of just pretty animations
(don’t get me wrong, they must be fun, of course) and doesn’t get me much ahead (like I don’t know what to do with Peter Pan now). The only thing worth spending clams are things dropping stuff for events that you’ll need a ton of (like ectoplasm). But that’s just my observation and thoughts.
As to 2 workers, there was only one time I would’ve needed two, but that maybe could have been avoided if I had read upon the Questlines and adjust my game strategy accordingly. Also, only the events are time and need rushing, so in the main gameplay I can wait a little (this game requires a lot of waiting anyways).

Anyone else’s game keep crashing? Thought it might be because u haven’t updated to iOS 10 but it’s saying my iPad is up to date so I’m not sure what the issue is. Is there a way to fix this?

Can’t I place more than one building that gives clams? For example Area 51 or other ones, in other events.

I’m not sure what you mean? You can have any of these buildings out in your Quahog, but previous event clam generators will have ceased to give clams on their respective end dates.
