Hey there Gobbling Gobblers!

It is Thanksgiving Day here in the U.S.A. So what does that mean? Well for the most part, many of us have the day off of work to spend cooking, eating, and just hanging out with our families.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Us Addicts will be definitely observing this Holiday and taking some time off, so things around here may be a lil quiet. No worries, we will still keep an eye out for any surprises. Otherwise we will be back to the usual Friday (Or Black Friday as many call it, the day of SHOPPING TIL YOU DROP!)

While we are away in our Turkey Comas, figured it would be kind of fun to leave this as an Open Thread. Feel free to comment your thoughts below and share with others!

Well we’ve all made it through another week and the weekend is here!

–WHAT THE DEUCE… Mystery Boxes! These are nothing more than a slot machine people. Use at your own risk. I can’t say it enough apparently.

–WHAT THE DEUCE… Exhaustion. I just feel like I want to curl up in a ball under my desk at work and sleep. No one will mind, right? Not as long as I put my alarm clock under there with me… ticking away. 😉

Future of Family Guy Addicts

Hey there Clammers!

I am almost through with Training. Final stuff happening Tomorrow. However, there will be another hurdle ahead… Alissa will be giving birth soon.

This means that I may need to start limiting the posts on this site even more (unless more really active Addicts Helpers want to assist with Main Posts, Questlines, Etc too). Due to this, I am curious as to what posts you mainly are wanting to see on the site, so I can focus on putting those up first.

Caption This Clammers!

As you are playing through quest lines, finishing up some tasks, or seeking to get those “rare” items for our characters… you may catch a glance at some of the funny moments that happen in our games. For those of you that are watching and are actually able capture these rather silly and strange things as they happen, we want to see them.

Now comes the fun part, once a week we will be posting these silly images here but want YOU, the readers, to caption them for us. So put on your silly thinking hats, let out that lil comedian inside, and have some fun! (Keep them PG please.)

CAPTION THIS TIPS: Pictures that make the best “Caption This” are more than just the regular task the Characters perform. If you look at it and can tell a story or picture an entire movie scene… it is probably a good candidate. Things that not only make you laugh, but question all that is going on at that moment. What caused it? What happens after? The Characters expression. Multiple Characters involved. MORE than just a Character doing a task. Also wait a few seconds if you can for all the surrounding items to clear away so it does not cloud up the screen.  🙂

Here’s mine for this week:

–WHAT THE DEUCE… SLOW DOWN!! I don’t mind a Challenge, I don’t mind a lot to do, but this is just getting to be TOO much. Need to rewind back to not having to be in the game all the time to get something. Love the ideas. Love the animation. Love the Theme (Halloween is my favorite). Just… a lil less. That or make it a longer Event. Or even a District. I really like all this stuff and would love to have it in my game, but… I just don’t have that kind of time. No one really does. I addressed it before, but the “12 step Program” of earning things is not something I like terribly. Just one n done, Please. NO MORE 12 STEPS!!

–WHAT THE DEUCE… Mind won’t shut up at night, making me VERY tired for training, making me constantly second guessing EVERYTHING I do. I am passing it all so far with 100%, but still… I just need to sleep more than 3 hrs. AAAAHHHHH!!! ALL WORK AND NO SLEEP MAKE BUNNY PSYCHO!!!

WHAT THE DEUCE… I want more lil Decoration. I’m seeing a ton of really cool things I want in my game. Trees, bushes, sidewalks, dirt, fences… PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me more PERMANENT Decorations from this event!!

WHAT THE DEUCE… Someone had to go on a drunk driving rampage and knock out Internet for a lot of businesses and homes. Come on people. If you’re gonna drink, at least act like an adult and take a cab. NOTHING is worth driving under influence. Nothing at all. Risking your life and all those innocent bystanders is just… well… stupid.

Here’s mine for this week:

–WHAT THE DEUCE… No more “send Character on Task to maybe earn this… to use for that… to get this… to unlock that” TinyCo. PLEASE!! Enough already. I am getting used to the “earn Materials for Character/Costume at the different “Chance” ratios, but the “Quadruple Earn Combos” need to go. That or just fine tune them down to Characters ALWAYS drop, and the 2nd item you attack ALWAYS drops too. No mixing in a “Chance”.

–WHAT THE DEUCE… People not checking their blind spots or paying attention to traffic flow. COME ON! I am RIGHT THERE! It’s not like I am in a lil teeny car. I am a few inches short of being an SUV and sit quite high on the road. It’s not like you can miss me. But please, go ahead and just come right into my lane with no signal, no checking mirrors, but then honking at everyone you almost created a wreck for because WE should have looked out for YOU! GRRRRRR!!!
