So we’ve got a new game upon us and that means it’s time to add friends to our little Quahog World! So here’s you’re “Add Me” thread!
So now…hit up this post with your ID’s and Add Me Requests! Who wants to be first?
Note of caution: Currently the ONLY way to add friends in this game is via Facebook (meaning your friends have to have the game and use Facebook to login too). We caution you to be careful how much real life information you give out. You may want to consider making a Facebook account JUST for this game and not putting any personal information on it. And yes, we’re not fans of the Facebook only rule right now. Hopefully it will change soon! You guys are on your own with how much real life information you want to share with others when it comes to adding friends…

I just created a facebook account to help with the invite 5 friends quest. I found out that you have to invite a facebook friend that doesn’t have the game linked to their facebook account for the quest to count as a invite sent. Now we just need a couple of people to do the same to help finish this quest.

I added a bunch of friends on fb but when I go to invite people in the game it says “You don’t have any friends left!”
How is this suppose to work? What am I missing?

I’m trying to add friends and it keeps saying I have no-one to invite (which I do) is anyone having this issue? I’ve also tried the invite tab in the friends part and that doesn’t work either but some friends have added me? My Facebook is sukitrueman@gmail.com if you want to add me!

I’m right there with you. Have added about a dozen friends from this post, have even visited their cities. Yet it shows I have 0 friend invites and no friends to invite.

But I may not be the best person to judge by, as I can’t even figure out how so many of my neighbour’s built roads. I’ve looked everywhere for where the roads might be, have no idea.

I can answer that one if you press the arrows that are crossed at the bottom of the screen (next to the people icon) when you do in the left hand corner is a road picture to add roads just click on it and it will highlight then just press on the screen where you want it!

When you are moving stuff you are in the “Deco Mode” or the “move” mode like TSTO, and at that time there is a little + – Road box in the Upper Left Hand corner. I learned that from Main Menu > Help & Support > How to Play

Thanks everyone for helping with the road confusion. I figured it was like Back To The Future: “Roads, where we’re going we don’t need roads!”
No luck with the Facebook invites though, right? I have 14 Facebook neighbour’s now (canadiansz99@gmail.com) but it still says I have 0/5 invites.

Unfortunately you can only “invite” facebookfriends who aren’t already playing the game. If you added them and they are already playing, they are automatically added as a friend in the game. I may have accidentally added some people to my Facebook page who weren’t yet playing as I have been able to “invite” 3/5 so far!

I’m having this issue as well, but no one has added me either. My email address is evanthejet@hotmail.com. Would love it if someone would add me! I’m a TSTO fanatic but enjoy this show (and hopefully the game) even more!

Having same issue. I was able to add one however. I clicked the add friend button and low and behold, there was a friend profile sitting there! I tapped on it and it “added” them to my group. It also adjusted the “add friends” task to 1/5. Now I just need to figure out how to do it again lol 😳. (I already have 16 friends in multiverse, but all just showed up after they/I excepted the friend request thru FB.)

hi, I deactivated my facebook account months ago and don’t really want to reactivate as Im over it! I have created a separate account for this game so far but hopefully they will fix one day when u can add friends via separate accounts.

Here’s a strange one…..when I try to collect the third coins from several of my friends, the game boots me out!? Anyone else having this problem? Note: I haven’t used up my 20 visits yet.

Ongoing reports of this issue. I just think the servers are getting overloaded. (Much like when a new update came out.) Give it a lil time and try again.

i sent an email to tinyco asking if they can have an alternative to facebook this is the response i received:
Thanks for reaching out to us with your issue!
Facebook is not required to play Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff but it is currently required to connect with and visit other users’ Quahogs in game.
We are aware not everyone has a Facebook account and are working on alternative means of connecting with friends as the game progresses.

Yea, I think they went with FB first because it was easy and simple to setup. Remember it took a little while for TSTO to get Origin too. This way at least you can visit friends while they work on an alternative version 🙂

Here is the answer to the error posts: I created a 2nd facebook account for this game, but still got the Consuela error message, until Peter started a quest, which is to add facebook friends, so now I can, but don’t have any friends, soooo… add me: Tadmire Giggity

There is an error on the add friends quest, if you add your facebook friends but cancel the popup box then you automatically clear the quest… now i cant add any friends lol

Just go to the “Other” town and use the lil link there at the bottom to add friends on Facebook. 🙂

There are a few different issues going around with the Facebook connections to the game. I would suggest alerting TinyCo so they are aware the devices and how far spread it is. Just go to your menu (lil blue square bottom left side. Looks like a cracker) Go to the Help Section. You can follow the steps through the Customer Support option, but you should see a lil talk/chat box in the top right corner of your screen next to thumbs up and down. Click on it and send them a message with your info and issue.

Following a reply from tinyco you can only add your friends once a week. I suppose so you dont bug them too much if they dont play.

I dig it, so far. Except, my phone will go to sleep after 30 seconds whereas tSTO will keep my phone awake. Which actually works out a bit better while at work.

So Alissa, I created a secondary Facebook account like you mentioned. I logged out of my original Facebook account and signed in with the new one. However, it keeps giving me an error when I try to sign up with Facebook. I had previously created an account with just my email address. Is anyone else having this issue?

I was getting the same error because my iPhone still had my real Facebook info under Settings. So I had to delete the account from my iPhone then go back into the game. This time when I tried to login to Facebook it opened a safari window and I was able to login with my new account. Once that was done I re-entered my real account details under Settings and all was resolved! I hope this helps!

I saw the Consuela error but I didn’t put in the right password myself. Not sure on issue. May have to try some basic troubleshooting to ensure the other ID is cleared out of your game.
