Hey There Clammers!
With the introduction of Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff there’s a whole cast of characters to unlock in your rebuild effort of Quahog! These overview posts are designed to give you a quick breakdown of the characters, how you unlock them & their tasks so you can play FGG more efficiently!
Of course there will be those players who don’t want to know the details of unlocking the characters so for that reason we’ll post all of the details below the fold. So if you don’t like to know what’s going on before you play don’t click read more…CAUTION SPOILERS AHEAD
With the opening of Asiantown this week (District 7) I figured it was time we skipped ahead a bit in our Character Overviews and broke down one of the “new” characters in the game. I say “new” because they’ve been teased as locked content since the game was introduced but now they’re finally unlocked! Let’s kick off the District 7 Characters with the first character you’ll be required to unlock in Asiantown…Connie. So let’s take a look at this popular girl and her tasks…
Character: Connie
Unlocked: 14th with a Quest prompt from Lois
Building: We Heal You Long Time
Voiced?: Yes
Required to Unlock: Build We Heal You Long Time ($6,000). The “stuff”: Collect 10 Toads, 10 Jewels, 10 Hairspray and 10 Lipstick
Costumes: None

Okay, Connie is free now. Her tasks in my game are: 2 hrs. Take selfies, 4 hrs. Bask in popularity, 8 hrs. Stay beautiful, 12 hrs. Steal Meg’s diary, 16 hrs. Go shopping, and 1 Day Do toad.

You’re welcome. TinyCo may have changed it around prior to the release of her character. For a minute, I thought I was dyslexic when I read the tasks you posted and what I saw in her task box when I finally unlocked her in the game were different so I had to check for sure. 🙂

I just unlocked Connie but the order of her tasks and times are different from the one posted above. I may be wrong. I have to check again later because she’s currently taking selfies right now which is my favorite task of hers.

I know this isn’t the right place but is there a should I spend clams section on the site? I’m probably just missing it. I have 100 clams. I’m debating between getting Jake Tucker or waiting to get the other 20 I need for the horse. Can you at least point me to right place? I searched Jake Taylor and only got the walk through for his storyline

This is way OT, but: I have problem in my town, fences are not displayed properly. I bought some circus fences, and some chain fences (prompted by a task), and they all look like a couple of gears in my town. Anyone else having a glitch like that?

The gears mean they haven’t fully loaded. Usually you can hard close the game and restart it and they should load properly.

Me too–a lot of people are having this problem. Unlike other decorations, the game seems to have trouble rendering fences properly. I’ve given up on them and put them all in storage.

Ok so I’m probably posting this in the wrong spot but cut me some slack I’m new at this business lol. My husband and I are on opposing ends of the animation domination situation lol ya I just said that stupid crap. He grew up with simpsons and I (although quite grown up once family guy hit the airwaves ) cannot get enough of the intellectualy vulgar seth macfarlane. Wev both been playing simpsons tapped out since christmas and out Springfields are at the highest level of achievement and are placed rather nicely( not just thrown together like some ive seen) we take pride in our work I guess. So as soon as I got wind of family guy being thrown into the same type of game play I couldn’t wait. There is nothing I dont know about the show I can recite line for line any episode in my sleep. Or have full on convos with my sister using nothing but quotes. Yes we’re idiots I know lol. U get the idea that family guy is on in this house everyday at some point right lol. Ok so back to the game…sorry I trailed a bit. The guys at tinyco could take a few notes from the guys at EA in this arena. More money for tasks would be good, ur doing something for 4 hours and only get like $50? I’m glad they started awarding clams for completing groups but clams for leveling up would be super. The build times can get obnoxious like waiting 2 days for of Chinese kinda sucked. The epic and rare items need to not be so epic and rare. Ive needed 1 more shell for mermaid peter for like a week and a half now and because its so epic its like 250 clams just to buy it out. I know ppl have mentioned putting things in the water which would be nice. And the added percentages with clam items would be good too. Ya I know its a simpsons thing but it comes in handy. Adding friends thru a gaming account instead of facebook is a plan for the future i hope.Overall it cant be so bad seeing as how I’m on it every 5 minutes. I cant wait to see whats next of course since cleavlands back on the show he’ll be added eventually. Anyway apologies for the novel I managed to write I know its more than most want to read from a single person lol. So have fun tapping uh er clamming. Oh and ps I wish Connie would finish her line dont listen to me talk…u dont deserve my words. I have this impulse to always finish it and not everybody likes the sound of my voice as much as I do lol. If u need any family guy info help let me know its my area of expertise. Geez that’s sad lol.

I don’t understand why Connie was chosen as a character. There isn’t enough to her ( as shown by her 6 sole actions) and I think someone else would have been a better choice.

i’ve just unlocked district 7 & am working on collecting connies stuff now. quick question: has the level cap for chris & bonnie gone up with this update yet? or is it still level 14 for them both? same question for peter, i think his is/was 24. i hope they have increased some cuz it would suck to be stuck with a character that can’t progress anymore.

As of right now I don’t think so. I think they’re all still at their initial base. I think level adjustments will come in when they add more tasks for the base character (no skin).

Only three lipsticks away from unlocking Connie, plus I got S & M Lois today, and Rambo Lois yesterday. Took forever to get those damn headbands!

As a beginner in this game, what is the point in having more than one towns (games)? How many towns do you have? Are they at the same level? All freemium? I have just one and there are days when l feel l neglected it.

I have 2. one i use to speed up everything for this site and the other is my personal game. They’re both about the same spot. Although my personal game is much higher in levels (game and character) because I play it more often.
