Looks like TinyCo has given us a small indication as to when the event will end (at least if you want to believe an the in game popup)….this appeared in our games yesterday:
So it looks like we’ve got about an hour and a half left to complete any last purchases/item grabs in the event before it all disappears! (4pm PDT, 7pm EST)

I’d love to see the reactions of some folks if we didn’t get District 8 until next Friday. It’s only a matter of days until people fly through that one and nag about District 9. I just don’t understand why this game gets bashed so much. The only thing that agitated me a little bit is how the Kingdom of the Full Moon was somewhat inconsistent and rushed. Other than that, I adore it. (It’s helping me survive until Smash Bros! Haha!)

I agree with everything you said. Cleveland tasks weren’t thought out well and a few other things but all in all they keep us pretty busy. Some people just like to complain or be irritated. After all, it’s just a game try and make the best of it.

Thanks for posting a comment, but we don’t post spoilers since TinyCo always makes last minute changes. We only post on content once it’s in the actual game. This way you get the most accurate, up-to-date information. Thanks for understanding. 🙂

Possible idea: you guys should make a type of weekly post where we can speculate/discuss/etc. things that are coming into the game in the future. Would be perfect for this sort of thing. Then also that way people would know that the “spoilers” weren’t 100% true! since it’s a place for discussion of the future of our Quahogs!

Hey silly, are you guys not able to get anything out of tinyco at least about why the event didn’t end? Or are they keeping you guys totally in the dark too? This is starting to be annoying and I’m usually a pretty patient person. I don’t like to feel like I’ve been lied to but I kinda do concidering the banner yesterday saying the event was ending at 4pm today. Come on TC!

The only reason is that I was so irritated was just because, even though it was small, Tiny Co. gave me the sense of betrayal earlier. It sounds foolish I know, but think about it. We love this game, therefore what we do is what we put our trust into this game and it’s maker, Tiny Co. And if you make a time for something, you should follow through with it. And if you can’t, you at least say something abut it. They just left us completely in the dark, and that’s where the feelings of betrayal, then of course anger, came in.

A) that District 8 would unlock the second the event ended without any actual proof that it was going to happen
B) that mistakes don’t happen. I’m sure tinyco planned on ending it a certain time but things happen.

Agreed! I’ve been trying to be patient but I’ve had enough of TinyCo’s generic message that says District 8, Stewie, and other new content is coming “soon”.
Even if they don’t add new stuff until the middle of the night, it’d be nice if they stuck with their schedule of the event ending at 7pm EST.
