Happy Friday Clammers!
Well, we’ve all made it through another “work week” (kinda, sorta, almost) and the weekend looms large up ahead. All week we field your comments about your frustrations in the game (I gotta unlock TWO costumes to get Stewie?! REALLY?!) and we wanted to give you (and us) a fun new way for you to voice your frustrations and get it all off of your chest. So welcome to What the Hell?!
-Getting REALLY annoyed that you haven’t unlocked Stewie yet?
-Game crash right as you collected that last Meat Chunk and then it disappeared?
-Someone cut you off on your commute this morning?
Here’s your place to vent about anything and everything, Family Guy or not. Consider this your weekly bitch fest and get it all out with a good…What the Hell?! And start your weekend fresh! 🙂
Just be respectful of others & be mindful of the language.
Here’s my What the Hell?! For this week:
-$25,000 to unlock Carter, really? The buildings in this district are already crazy high, compared to other districts, and NOW you want to take an ADDITIONAL $25k from me? What the hell?!
-So I can deal with all the crazy items dropping for Stewie, Falconer Peter & PB&J Brian. I’m doing ok with items dropping..at least something is dropping in every group. Every group except for the FREAKING LEATHER GLOVE! I send Joe to Do Target Practice over and over and OVER…and no Goves..WHAT THE HELL?!
-And finally…to the barista at Starbucks that likes to drip caramel all down the sides of the outside of my Venti Caramel Macchiato. What the hell?! Dude…just stop squeezing the caramel BEFORE you pull it off the cup. Seriously…the sticky caramel on the side of the cup is getting old. (I know I know…#firstworldproblems)
Now it’s YOUR turn…give us your What the hell?! moments from the past week! Go on, get it off your chest…you’ll feel a lot better! 🙂

Here’s my “wth” – aside from the usual complaints, I just got this message from Peter – “You ready to spend real money yet? Don’t worry, on your mom’s credit card statement, it’ll just say, “Schoolbooks, Inc.”
Now I have a sense of humor. (I love Family Guy.) However, as a parent, I know there will be kids that’ll listen to “Peter” and it’s just not cool of TinyCo to do that.

I can see it as this…little kids should NOT have a parents Credit Card. If they do…there is another issue going on. Lol.
I see it as nothing worse than any other satire humor that I have come to expect from Family Guy. A very funny play. (Not to mention a jab at the College Kids too. They gotta buy all those school books that are QUITE spendy and there are many that are there on Mom n Dads dime, so to speak). So in short…you may think it geared towards youth. I see it geared towards the college kids (more the average age of people the play the game). Not so much sting to it when you look at it from another point of view. 🙂

I don’t guard my purse at home and I doubt others do either so it’s way too easy for a kid who is frustrated by this game to help themselves to their parents credit card.
As for college kids – in that context, it IS funny.

Here’s my “wth” – aside from all the usual complaints, I just got a message from Peter asking when I’m going to spend real money on the game and telling me to use my mom’s credit card behind her back because it will charge it under “Schoolbooks, Inc.”
Don’t get me wrong, I have a sense of humor but I’m sure there are some kids that might try it.

I still haven’t gotten a single glove from Joe. 😯 I’ve just sent him to target practice again, but this time as Cop Joe on the theory 💡 that this is all some weird programming bug and some summer intern at Tiny Co attached the drop to the wrong one. 🙄

l let me know what happens, because I’m lacking gloves from Joe as well 🙂

Heading into my third straight day of not getting any leather gloves. Game has become more frustrating than fun. It’s rapidly approaching occasional play from a daily play.

And just now, it collected enough jewels for carter, only for stewie to lose all of the jewels collected from his unlock screen. Doh! I hadn’t read the small print, otherwise I would never have started on carter at the same time!

Another WTH from me – The ridiculously limited times that TinyCo allows for this & past events. They apparently don’t take into account that most people need to sleep every now & then. With this event, one would have to hit it precisely every four hours TO THE SECOND just to barely get the 24 needed toys in 24 hrs to get the 3rd ‘party’ each day. Even with the extension to 10 pm pdt, most of us got screwed out of the 3rd chance today. I wish TinyCo would loosen up on their time limits at least a little bit. Perhaps they could sometimes give us a little heads up on upcoming events, and not always sneak something in when alot of people are getting that needed thing called ‘sleep’. Rant complete.

my wth is quite serious! i had already purchased 1 pLace building with clams & then i accidentally tapped it again & wound up with a 2nd 1. so i send tinyco a message telling them this & i get a message back saying something to effect of they can’t restore currency due to accidental purchases ! so i sent a message back saying that if that’s the case then i’ve had fun playing they’re game but them & this piece of s*** game can go straight to hell! i want my damn clams back! hell, i even told them to remove the 2nd pLace building from my game too! WTH tinyco, not cool, not cool at all!!

I think the biggest problem I’ve had with the game recently is the sheer amount of collectables that need to drop before you get anything, and what’s worse is that they’ve all come in the short space of time. Right now with a couple of characters it’s a case of do a job for an outfit, a job for a character or a job for Stewie’s present thing (which the chance of getting Rupert is so small that I don’t know if it’s worth doing). It’s all a bit frustrating! Could’ve smoothed it out over a couple of months at least!
