Comic Con is now LIVE on Android. No need to hit up the app store. Just start your game as normal and you’ll get a popup to reload to start the special event. Do that and Comic-Con will load on your device!
Update: Ok…apparently there IS an App Store Update for Android as well. The event WILL start with out going to the app store. It appears that update is just for the event graphics (splash screen and icon)

Here’s a thought; what if the surprise to Android users is to lock out Apple users for a week? That way we are all fair again, and the people who say “it’s only a week” can eat their own words.

lol that would be funny, but very unlikely. And I agree 1 week is a big gap in time…hopefully they’ll do something (like extend if a week for Android users, allow Android users to earn double blam! for 1 week, or give Android users a blam! truck) to make up for it.

I just tried to play on my Android phone and I’m getting a “viewcontroller” error. I deleted and reinstalled the app, still got the error. Anyone else have this problem and hopefully know a fix?

I have a coat hanger icon above Al Harringtons, but when I go inside there are no new comicon costumes to work on. Should there be a costume available at the beginning of the event, or does something have to trigger them?

If you look in the event menu, there are skins pending. Same with the Peter one in the Q building. So the hanger is triggered. Just be patient…they are coming. 😉

First, if anyone has covered this already I apologize (I’m currently on my Note3). I did the update 7/30 (appstore auto updated it for me) and once I had the Patrick Stewart quest it crashed. Now I don’t mean that I can’t play the game, I mean no comic-con. here’s the funny bit, I still have Patrick Stewart. he’s literally just hovering in the trees in the north part of the map. I have none of the extras in the “store”/cart and none of the characters show/have the soda drops.
I have force stopped the game, un-installed and reinstalled, restarted my phone, pulled the battery out, logged out and back in…and un-installed and reinstalled again. still no comic-con but still there’s Patrick Stewart.
Anyone else having this or similar issue or fix?

Hi guys 🙂 I usually play on my iPad, but I decided to install the game on my android phone so that I can collect Blam even when I am on the go, and so that I could “see how the other half lives” LOL. I had to uninstall the game after my first download because most of my characters were “shadowy Peters” and a lot of the buildings were missing or showing up as “cogs”. I thought it might be a memory problem so I uninstalled, cleaned some things up on my phone and reinstalled the game. Success! I now have all the buildings and characters, HOWEVER, now I am not getting any nerds to spawn. I see more “shadowy Peters” over by the convention center but they never come out and they are not clickable. Any suggestions for me or is is this a common/known issue? Thanks!

It seems a lil odd to me. Something you if the basic troubleshooting does not correct, contacting TinyCo should be the next step.

I’m on iOS and just got promoted for something with squid stewie and what looks like a battery to collect. I just unlocked stewie a few hours ago. Is this part of the normal quest line or something new?

The first day for me just ended and I’m already at 1360 total blam points
Only need to rebuild the convention centre (almost at 1000 blam for that).
I started to collect stuff for hero peter and Patrick Stewart.
The books go pretty fast. Already at 5 books.
If I go on like that I will get most stuff at the end of the event.
Also o read somewhere that tomorrow a new celebrity will be released in our town.

We do have an Android-exclusive item planned, but it’s not live in the game yet. We’ll make an announcement when it is available. Stay tuned!
It would be nice to know how long it will be until this item is released. The longer they wait the more upset and the more android users will question whether it will be enough to make up for making us wait a week to play this update at a week long disadvantage.

The game has 6 weeks to go. I do not see it as a disadvantage. You don’t even know what it is, so can’t really make a judgment on something that does not exist yet. Know what I mean?

The question I am having is time. Will I have enough time to unlock this person or that item. Ios users had a week head start. By the time I barely start on unlocking Patrick Stewart and Captain Hammered they already have Patrick Stewart unlocked and are mostly done if not completely done with Captain Hammered and are sitting pretty waiting for the next character to arrive. While I’m biting my nails. Going ok 6 weeks and 6 characters and 4 costumes so that’s at a rate of every 3-4 days to unlock each character before the next one arrives. Asking myself is that enough time should I invest in the stores that drop those items to make it happen faster? I didn’t even get half the items in the last event and I don’t want to come up that short again in this event as well. Especially if I invest time AND money in it.

I understand what you are saying. I am just at a loss in my response. More so because I have seen how fast the game can change each week, so an honest to the point answer is difficult. Not only that, I don’t want a player to spend for what can come for free…if that makes sense. If they do what they did in Kingdom and double or triple the blam I can see the 100K easily obtained by playing the game daily.
I just don’t want everyone to keep focusing on the time difference. It is what it is. Those App stores own these companies when it comes to release dates. THEY are the ones saying yes or no. The companies to all they can to push for same, but to the app stores…it is a competition. Especially with Android and Google. So to combat that, TinyCo is doing what they can to help android make up for loss time that was out of their control.
In short, don’t sweat the small stuff. If you feel you need a boost and want to invest in the game…then do so. Just do it in a wise way that will give YOU the best payout for what YOU want in your game. 😉

Bunny,no I don’t want them to hand over the stuff.Like you said it would be no fun.But for 2 almost 3 weeks now I have peter and Brian 2x a day for Brian’s skin and nothing.so after 17x you would thing 1 would drop.

If you have done a task for 3 weeks and NOTHING has dropped, that sounds more like a technical issue to me. Have you tried contacting TinyCo on it yet?

Why do they have to make items rare or very rare that’s just stupid.Never mind I quit playing this crap.3 weeks and not even close to getting Brian’s suit which means I can’t unlock stewie.so there is no point.

I think its a brilliant idea. Very similar to many RPG games out there. Including old school games. It makes a game more challenging and fun in my opinion. It may not be something everyone likes, but to please everyone would be impossible. Myself…I enjoy a challenge in a game. Keeps my interest a lot longer in a game than just a one and done thing. 😉
Brian and Stewie were just released. This game is meant to be played and those characters are permanent in it. If they just handed them over…then what would there be to do? Game would be boring again and you would be asking for the next thing. Don’t you think?

I agree with Bunny 100% this time (Lol, not saying I normally disagree with you) Tinyco obviously looked at another game from FOX that all the tasks were time based…because of it being time based people could knock it out pretty quickly and a person 20+ levels below you could catch up to you rather quickly…seriously they are down to making every quest a minimum of 12 hours at this point. If you hadn’t noticed every level unlocks new characters that takes more items and tougher items to unlock…so pretty much if you don’t like it right now…you really aren’t going to like it the next level and really really aren’t going to like it the one after that…thats the pride of having these characters..it means you are now ready for a tougher task as well as laugh and mock the people that are now going through the same pain you did…this also gets rid of people that start playing the game today being at the same level as you in a month. also you don’t need the newest characters unlocked right now..you have as much time as you need..if time based characters or tasks come up do them first.

Sorry not really sure where to post this but.. Quagmire dropped a blueprint for me, and after I collected it, it did not get added to my total number of blueprints to unlock Stewie. Anyone else have this happen?

I have not. Do me a favor and send a message to TinyCo from your game Menu, Help & Settings, and let them know right away.
In the meantime, try refreshing your game. Jump in n out of Ollie land, hard close, restart device, etc. See if any of it helps to sync the game back and the count to be corrected.

It happened to me once Bunny, I did contact Tiny Co they are never able to help out and always end up getting generic replies saying sorry we cannot credit you at this time, it happened to once with the blueprint and once I collected a clams and my game crashed and I never got them back.
I personally have decided that I get a better response frm you guys here than contacting tiny co.

I only ask because each issue could be different. If something is a trending issue, there may be more going on in your game. I know replacement of an item during a crash is one thing. But to win it, collect it, and it not count is another. Try some of the basics I suggested to refresh the game…or…if you are linked up to an email or Facebook account to save your game play…then try uninstalling, restart device, then reinstall. Kind of give it a fresh start. That way in case there is something catching in there it may correct it.
In the meantime do me a favor please, send me your Player ID info so I can look into further? You can get this by tapping on Menu > Account Info > the PlayerID will be the long string of letters and numbers in the bottom right corner.

During the moon event, I was lucky enough to get that 20 clams from brian’s sphinx. The second I did, Consuela showed up with a message that looked like this: “1%$(&%@*83#61=>2”!
When I logged in again, I had lost the 4,000 moons i spent and I didn’t receive any clams for it, nor anything else. I contacted TinyCO but nothing! Hate these stupid glitches… >:-#

Negatives so far for being an Android user. #1 kick to the groin…finding out that it would be a week after the event started for Apple users for us to start. #2 kick to the groin was finding out that if you bought certain buildings the first night you could of only paid half. #3 kick to the groin..after spending a week working on things for Stewie and finally being let in on this event…find out that we won’t have the same number of days to finish everything..in fact a week less ( from being a crazy tapper during full moon event and only getting just over 50k before using a glitch on final day…this is no bueno). and #4 kick to the groin..that special thing or something promised all week long for android users…..not anywhere to be found… Just saying a lot of folk on here have heavily bruised groins and could use that Ice Pack that was promised 😉

I have the coat hanger over Al’s, indicating a new costume, but when I go into the store, there is nothing new – Just says I have 18 of 18 costumes.
Is Captain Hammered supposed to be in there?
I have updated from the store and un-installed\re-installed – Still not there.
Am I missing something – or do I have to complete some other task before this kicks in?

There are two new skins coming, they are in the menu but not available…yet. Quagmire’s and Chris’. Same for Captain Hammered, though he will appear once you build/fix the Q. Pending skins will trigger the hanger.

Why is it that the iOS uses are getting 46 days and others for android and kindle are only getting 40? A lot can be done in 6 days and other users robbed simply by the type of device they have

I know you can feel that way. As stated, TinyCo is going to be bringing something to level the time difference. No worries. The release in the app markets is a constant up and down. Up til now Android ALWAYS got the updates first. This included glitches too. So iOS player have been down a week or more many times in the past. Just hang in there and don’t focus on the dates. Just play and have fun in a really cool event. 😉

I might be the most impatient fan out here but when are we getting more characters? Have unlocked Stewie and Patrick. It seems that TinyCo usually release updates at 10pm PDT when I snore for Britain! And am away to a place with no Wifi for 6 days…. *wailing* 😝

I feel that they should give the android players something that the iOS players can buy like a Blam truck which would help with getting Blam quicker to catch up but that the iOS players can purchase if they like. I would like to be able to get the special item even if I had to use clams but that’s just me.

Seems the rocket is pretty easy to get. I haven’t spent a clam and the convention center is an hour into unlocking (will get it late tonight) with the Q and Clamterprise already unlocked. So basically just over 24 hours. And we have 3 days. (I haven’t spent Blame! on anything else BTW, just those 3 buildings…)

My Blams are Not going to my OVERALL TOTAL.. It did this to me in the LAST event with the moon idols. This completly takes away the OBJEVTIVE of the Event 😦 #HELP

Watch your Blam! over the next while. Tap on only 1 or 2 items at a time. The lower one usually takes it all immediately (so if 6 Blam…all 6 are there instantly) then as they collect the top one adds them. Sometimes a hard close or restart will help resync it. If you are still missing some from overall, let me know. I sent all your info in the meantime.

I thought that also but started watching and if the last number is the same on both it is counting it. All the other numbers may be different because of stuff you bought but the last number should always be the same.

Hey TinyCo. If you’ve got another multiplier event like collecting jellies, now is a good time to start it. Not at the very end, when it’s mathematically impossible for your average free player to max it out.

I’m pretty sure that’s the point. If everyone got everything for free then the company wouldn’t make and money and the game would cease to exist.

I have android and was able to update yesterday evening. I was able to play and complete actions with the comic con, but when I logged in a couple hours later, a box popped up and said the event had ended and my only option was to restart the game. Now all my progress from comic con is gone. There is not another app update and i have restarted, uninstalled, etc. but nothing changes. I want my progress back and cant do anything to further my progress bc the event is gone! What do I do??

Oh no! This happened to me on iOS during the Full moon event. Your best bet is to directly contact TinyCo (since you already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it). You can see details on how to contact them in this post:
