UPDATE 8:15PM EST: We let TinyCo know the concerns of you as well as made suggestions of our own, this is there response…New tasks to help earn items. (Keep in mind these were JUST pushed, so you may not see them right away. Force closing the app may help trigger them faster.)
So as usual, TinyCo dropped a lil surprise today into our games. Stripper Bonnie.
She apparently wants to be a superhero too. Lol. In order to unlock Bonnie, you need to have her available to tap the ! above her head and start the Hostess with the Mostess. You will just need to complete the multitude of tasks associated with her questline to unlock her. The Costume build and collection will not start until Part 7 of Hostess with the Mostess. (To be able to unlock Stripper Bonnie you will need to also have Red Hot Lois unlocked.)
In order to build her costume you will need the following.
15 Hoop Earrings (Common) : Consuela Scrub Skidmarks, Tricia Seek Mother’s Approval, Connie Stay Beautiful, Quagmire Drink at the Clam, and Bonnie Clip Coupons.
10 Fishnets (Rare): Seamus Emerge from the Shadows, Goth Chris Enjoy Private Sulking Time, and Bathrobe Quagmire Check on Korean Women.
10 Stripper Heels (Rare): S&M Lois Practice Whips on Joe’s Legs, Jerome Play Darts, and Joe Raid Personal Weapons Stash.
5 Wax (Extra Rare): Hooker Peter Attract New Clients, Mid Life Crisis Lois Skank it Up, and Bruce Be a Good Listener.
Once she is completely unlocked and the skin is usable for tasks in your game, she is yours to keep. So make sure you do all this BEFORE the end of Comic Con as she is linked to the event and WILL go with it if she is not unlocked.
There is also a new Decoration:
Stripper Bonnie’s Pole. 25 Clams. 4×4. Bonnie will need this for her Champagne Room Task (Which is the eye candy for the guys that Nathan gave the gals. Lol. ) This will appear during her costume unlock in Part 7 in your decorations menu.
Now for a lil FYI: Part 1 will take 25 hours, Part 2 will take 14 hours, Part 3 will take 8 hours, Part 4 will take 4 hours, Part 5 will take 6 hours each for Red Hot Lois/ Captain Hammered/Bonnie/Joe, Part 6 will take 1 hour for Red Hot Lois, Part 7 is where you are able to start earning materials to unlock her. Total of 58 hours of tasks. So get started as soon as you can if you want to start unlocking her.

Love the idea of Bonnie finally getting a costume but really disappointed in TinyCo over this. 58 hours of tasks to do before I can even start attempting to collect items?! That’s INSANE as we all know how their drop rates blow! Boo on TinyCo for this costume quest with only 7 days left in the event. They put out a cool event I have enjoyed so far and then ruin it at the end with a seemingly impossible-to-get-without-spending $$ costume.

Allow me to echo the comments about not being able to zoom out (nearly) as far (on iOS 7), as well as the roughly-halving of the frame rate (on an iPad Air); it also looks like it’s rendering at a lower color depth, but I’m almost never zoomed in this far – so I might not have previously noticed the egregious color banding.

Well, I’m glad it’s not just me, it was working great until this afternoon, I was watching Iron-Baby test his suit zoomed out and setting people to work for a couple hours and when I came back no more zoom. It’s so big!

No, the color depth has totally dropped in things like the gradient backgrounds behind Stripper Bonnie and the max level characters on Facespace. Wonder if they are trying to improve performance? I don’t mind the color issue, but the zoom issue is killing me.

That’s a very long time to wait to start collecting.. I don’t want to use my clams to rush tasks cuz I’m afraid I’ll be needing clams at the end to buy what’s left of Bonnie’s outfit. However I’m slightly happier that tinyco put mort and Dr Hartman to good use. Ive been needing 3 chips for over a week now and I’ve sent bonnie and Felicia both non stop on their 8 hour tasks until a few hours ago when I started bonnie on her own thing.. Thumbs up and thumbs down.. I’m happy kind of but at the same time I think they waited took it was way to late to add bonnies outfit..

I don’t think they’ll ease up much on Bonnie…a little to get players reeled in…but the event is almost over…the cash flow is winding down…so one last desperate lung for the money before it’s over and revenues totally tank…let’s hope they realize they need to ease up on the premiums who have dropped a lot of money already on this event, and try to encourage the freemiums to drop a little dough instead…i.e. how bout the premium buildings and characters start dropping for Bonnie?

Another suggestion for equitably distributing the cost of the game: how about removing the “bust” prizes from the clam boxes, that might improve sales, When you could end up with blam, batteries, or worst of all–bombs as the prize for a CLAM box…that’s just really discouraging. If you’re going to drop cash, you want a unique building or character…not something you already have too much of…especially for the Stewie Box, which is STUPID EXPENSIVE…and doesn’t even have the Clamterprise….and is (at the least depending on how you buy your clams) over $6 a try….but more likely closer to $7 a try…I can’t even imagine how ticked I’d be if I got bombs out of that…which is why I won’t even give it a try…maybe at a buck or so…and without the junk, I’d try a few…Of course if you’re just relying on the over financed completionists to pay the bills…good luck.

This is such bs. I had 2 microchips left and the quest for bonnie popped up. Had Felicia doing freeze tag to get the microchip and spent clams to speed up her Jacuzzi task 5 times. Not one chip dropped. Spend clams to speed up Felicia and a chip dropped. Then just spent clams to build Rollo cop as I needed 1 more chip. Started bonnie chugging wine. Then used clams to speed up her 2 12 hour tasks. After just spending 9.99 for 275 clams. Speed up the next 3 clams to advance her quest line because there was no way in H E you know what else I was going to get bonnie and finish Rollo cop. Stopped spending my last 12 clams down from 275 on bonnie sending out invitations. We need a kick back in something for this “incident”.

Very little time to complete this Bonnie costume, and the loss of zoom out on the iPad is really annoying. I hope they fix that.

They’re cutting this REAL CLOSE to the end of the event for this. I don’t think even I can do this in the allotted time as I’m so busy with my life as it is. 😦

I don’t think I have been so pissed towards a game before. Six days is WAY TOO LITTLE TIME!!!! And we lose about two days due to tasks, even more for sleep and work/school. If this isn’t extended by at least a week or available after the event, I might end up rage quitting the game which I would really hate to do with halloween around the corner and I spent money in the game.

I wish they would let us use Blam! to help with this one as I’ve got more than 250,000 I can still spend. I just went over 400,000 total today & was holding out for something useful to spend it on. Hopefully I can get back the clams I’m blowing to speed up tasks.

buy rupert mystery boxes. I have bought 60 so far and have gotten 100 clams out of it.
Bought the most recent 20 just now afrer dropping clams to speed bonnie through the first days worth of tasks, and I hit 10 clams 3 times.
got batteries, bombs, and harpoons too, so I’ll use them to earn more blam…to buy more rupert boxes!

I personally don’t care if I get this one or not and while I have enough clams for the trailers to get the breaking bad trailer for Cranston, I’m holding out because I want something awesome for Nathan.. Like the Serenity as his trailer or a Mal costume or something!

OK, whoa whoa whoa. Seriously? 58 hours is like 2 days and a half and we can’t even collect the items for her until those 2 days and a half are over with so that leaves us with like probably 3 and a half days to 4 days until the event ends, so that is screwed up if she is going WITH the event when it goes away. They need to extend the event so we can get Stripper Bonnie OR at least let her stay after the event ends. That would be the only two fair things to do.

Another suggestion to fix “The Bonnie Situation” – you catch the Pulp Fiction reference? – would be to put her costume in Al Harrington’s immediately so we can work on collecting her items NOW, and not being forced to wait 2 – 3 days before collection can even begin. Something you could throw in TinyCo’s direction…

I think maybe the rupert boxes are dropping clams faster than they intended, and this was shoe-horned in to the eveny to bleed us of out pf our ill-gotten clams. Really this smacks of content that was created with no connnection to the event.

Is it me or does anyone else notice that you can zoom like super close now but you can’t zoom out as much as you use to. That suck cuz I really like to decorate and move my town around and now it’s more difficult (on my ipad) to do it. I hope they didn’t do that to the iPhone too, need to check it out.

It’s the same on my Android devices. My iOS ones have always had a worse time zooming out for me. Never went as far and my Androids. Maybe others are catching up to it?

I was just checking this site to post the same thing. Zoom is WAAAY too close on my iPad, however it’s still normal on my iPhone. Weird. Definitely started with this latest update.

It’s too bad I can’t turn my Blam to Clam. I have 66,026 again. Although I do have a 7,000 Blam building to buy. Still waiting for my refund of 30,000 for over payment on Fusion Reactors. (sent a request for a refund on Aug 28.) anyways I have something new to work on Red Hot is working on The Fabulous Four Pt.8. then she can jump on Hostess with the Mostess Pt.5,(yeah i used clams to speed up things). Anything else for our total Blam??? I’m sitting on 230,376. I so want Bonnie.

Seems like a lot to do in too little time..no ticked, like I was with Rollo Joe (he was supposed to be a gift so should have been easy)…just disappointed. Hopefully we’ll be able to get close enough that it won’t cost too many clams. Doesn’t look doable at the moment, but if I can get close, I’ll probably drop a couple clams.

58 hours before we can even start collecting??!! That seems ridiculous considering all previous costumes have appeared in the store when their questline starts, even before they are required to move onto the next quest. We should be able to see the Stripper Bonnie outfit at Al’s and be able to work on getting the items while we work through the questline. Just seems crazy that we will basically have 3 days to collect bonnies items; tonight+58 hrs=early AM Sept 5th & event ends 8th. But I’m sure once the full walkthrough for Hostess is posted we will be able to have some concurrent tasks running to cut down the wait time to start collecting. But still, strange move TC….

Did the amount that you can zoom out just get reduced with this in-game update? Also the game seems a a bit of lag present, especially when panning around the town.

i know this is totally off topic but didn’t know where else to ask this. i tried to buy a drum of clams (the 1 that gives you 1,600 for 49.99) & it said purchase of this item is currently not available, this item is being modified. wtf is that about??! does anyone know what’s going on here & has anyone else had this happen to them? i need to buy some more clams! help!! hopefully this is fixed soon!

I have noticed that I have never been able to zoom out as far on iOS devices as I can on Android. Also harder to tap around the edges.

so we have around 5 or so days left in the event and just getting to part 7 to start collecting items for bonnie will already take about 4 to 5 days. and you still have to collect her items. unless you have the clams to spend i do not see how this is even possible to achieve. i havent even finished with rollocop yet 😦

Well, i should have bonnie and mort free by 2 AM, and Hartman at 9 AM. When i saw Bonnie with her quests i was pissed until i read here that goldman and Hartman stepped up.

Looks like it’s impossible for freemium players as you need to waste 25 clams on a pole for a task, and with all the hours before you can start collecting is annoying you should start collecting items first, extra rare items annoy me no much I’m always so unlucky… I guess I won’t get this costume, but I guess all the hackers will do, nice job Tinyco really pushing ppl to hack now,

You don’t HAVE to buy the pole. It will just leave that particular task locked up and not usable, but it is not needed to progress.

I’ve noticed every now and then, one of the comic-con characters will seem to have their harpoon task no longer drop anything. I find if I exit the game then come back, things will be righted in that task list. I saw it mentioned in someone else’s comment a while ago, so when I encountered it I knew not to worry. Just random, though I’ve only seen it happen with the guys – not Felicia.

Let me know this…it could be cause…is it happening in that 30 seconds Demon Stewie is not available to destroy? Like his 30 second time he disappears in the Con Center?
I ask due to the game may view him as “gone” at this time and they sent a patch fix for it. But the newer characters, like Felicia, may not have been in the game yet so still impacted.

As a way to tie Comic-Con and the hopefully soon opening of District 9, there should be a Superhero Outfit for Mayor West. Perhaps a black and gray outfit with a golden clam on the chest.
Mild mannered Mayor by day, costumed crime fighter by night.
“I am Clam Man!”
This could be given to everyone as a thank you for our support and participation in this event and open up when you unlock Mayor West, similar to the Iron Baby outfit.

Looks like TinyCo have listened. Dr. Hartman and Mort can now earn Microchips! I’m relieved to see that, given this Bonnie quest came when those chips were hard enough to get with just two characters. Glad they until used two characters who aren’t doing anything to aid Felicia.

I was saving up my Blam as I think they’re going to introduce a more expensive Blam Mystery Box this week, but as I had 180,000 Blam saved I decided to try to win some Clams to help speed this questline up. I opened the box 10 times, and won batteries, bombs, harpoons, then got lucky and won 25 Clams twice, then 10 Clams twice, so I used them to speed up the two 12 hour Bonnie tasks and now have her chugging wine. The good think is I have a lot of harpoons saved so will get back the Blam I spend in no time. I’m determined to do this without spending money, but if I get to a stage where that’s my only option I might have to consider it. A quick question though, the new Stripper Pole deco isn’t in my store, should it be, or does it show up when you start working on Bonnies outfit?

I’ve looked in every tab in the store and can’t find the new deco anywhere, I’ve forced closed twice, and the new actions for items for Rollo Cop Joe items have appeared, but still no deco. had bonny clipping coupons anyway for PB&J brian and she finished right after this dropped 🙂 so first 12 hours already done. too bad lois with the rest of the crew on stupid 24 hour google crime task for fab 4 quest for another 20 hours 😦 so really gained nothing there.
man this does seem like a lot right at the end. i need 4 more pieces for stewie and need some harpoon time but now seems like will lose another day or so to this costume. so much for sleep and those last 150 clams i got as they just might have to finish her off at the last second.
