Hey there Clammers, Hopping on by to give some more answers to the questions being asked. You can see a lot of them in our previous Clarification post HERE.
So let’s dive right in, shall we?
DO I NEED STEWIE FOR THE COSTUMES?
If you want to get Iron Baby or the Minion Stewie costume but do NOT have Stewie unlocked, no worries at all. For Iron Baby, you just need to have completed Iron Baby Part 1 (Collected ALL 20 Demonic Plating & 10 Reactors). For the Minion Stewie Costume, you just have to purchase it for the 20,000 Blam!. This MUST be done BEFORE the Con Event ends. Both of these costumes, if completed as just stated, will sit in “limbo” and wait til you unlock Stewie. Once Stewie is unlocked, you will see the Minion Stewie in Al’s to create and you will see Part 2 of Iron Baby trigger to build his helmet really quick then create that costume. (Keep in mind you need to be to Demon Child Part 5 to see the Minion Stewie costume in your menu.)
I CAN’T SEE MINION STEWIE COSTUME, HELP!
As stated above, you MUST be complete with Demon Child Part 5 in order to be able to see the costume for purchase in your menu. If you are past that part and still do not see it, or it was there and gone now… try to force close and/or restart your device to see if it returns. Secondly, if you are already creating a costume right now (like Multiplier or any other character) Minion Stewie will NOT show up in Al’s until the creation of the other costume is done. This is to help avoid the glitch like that with Red Hot Lois that happened. Once the other costume is done creating, the Minion Stewie will show up again to create. If you still do not see it and have gone through all above, please email us your Player ID (Menu, Account, Long number in lower right corner. NOT from load screen) to familyguyaddicts@gmail.com
WILL STRIPPER BONNIE CONTINUE AFTER EVENT?
As of this moment I am writing this, the info is STILL this… Stripper Bonnie will go when Quahog Comic Con does. So if you do NOT have all her materials collected by then and she is unlocked and walking around town, you will NOT get her.
And of course after I write this they did push the announcement to extend her. Lol. Like we always say, constantly changing and listening to players. Lol. Here is what TinyCo says:
Need more time for Stripper Bonnie? You’ve got it! Thanks to player feedback, we’ve decided to extend this costume past the Comic-Con event. To continue working on Stripper Bonnie past September 8th, you’ll need to start her quest “Hostess with the Mostess Pt 1.”
As long as you’ve started this quest, you’ll have all the time you need to finish collecting items for the Stripper Bonnie costume. This means more time for dancing on bars and lap dances, which is what we all really want.
Thanks for the feedback and keep collecting those fishnets and stripper heels!
So make sure you complete Part 1 of Hostess with the Mostess BEFORE the event ends to be able to continue collecting for her costume.
WHAT ABOUT MY BLAM! REFUND?
If you were one of the players that purchased the Reactors for 5000 Blam! before the price dropped to 2000 Blam!, make sure you have an open ticket with TinyCo. They combed through them before and will do so again this weekend to make sure they were taken care of. This is why it is critical you have open communication with them if you have an issue. Also, make sure you allow them proper time to get back to you on issues. They deal with tens of thousands of messages daily.

I love this event and I’ve enjoyed the constant quests and costumes and characters but I will not be sorry to see it go especially the minion stewies. I would like to put all my roads back because I’ve been using the maze method since they arrived

There better be a harpoon conversion…i’ve “randomly” hit old timey harpoons 6 times in a row. I have close to 80 of the others. Such a let down…next time there should be some sort of mini -game or something because thisv random thing isn’t working.

This also happened to me, had 80 of the red harpoons and 100 of the silver ones (can’t remember their names :/) managed to scrounge together just enough old timey harpoons to hit my multiplier late last night (UK time) and it hasn’t asked me for the old timey ones again since, managed to get rid of nearly all my harpoons and win pretty much everything I needed out of the blam boxes! I was almost at the point of getting very annoyed and sending tiny co a message but it sorted itself nicely 🙂

I only just started this game a few weeks ago and so there’s no way I’ll finish the comic con event. My question is: “is this a yearly thing or just this one-time”? I’m hoping it re-occurs every so often and eventually I can unlock the rest of the costumes, buildings and characters, etc. Anyhow, your site has been very helpful to this newb, thanks.

I got a question… I am currently working on the Rollocop-Outfit and Iron-Baby and am almost there. I do have the hopes to have it completed by tomorrow when the event ends (3pm PDT).
BUT – the message that showed up yesterday said
– All Blam will disappear by Monday 9/8
– All unearned celebs and hero outfits will disappear this weekend
So does that mean I need to unlock both costumes before monday?
Any clarification will be greatly appreciated!

How do I get an open ticket? I’ve sent an in game message from the settings and for a refund on blam but they got a message on the 2nd of September saying thanks for contacting us. But nothing’s happened

Had a great mourning today, not only did I unlock Stripper Bonnie outfit, I only used clams I’d won from the Blam box to speed up the first few parts of the questline, and managed to earn all the items in just over 3 days. But I also unlocked Rollo Cop, Felicia dropped the last microchip I needed, so I ended up getting 3 chips from Felicia, 1 from Bonnie, and 1 from Mort. Now I’m just waiting for whatever is coming to end this event so I can start working on unlocking Stewie so I can check out the Iron Baby, and Mutant Stewie outfits, I want to keep my characters free as I don’t know who will be needed for the final questline.

Hi. I have fabulous 4, stripper, iron baby and rolocop tasks left with not enough time before the deadline passes to finish any of them in normal time. Before I spend any precious clams to finish quests, am I right that the following quests will roll over after the deadline: Rolocop, Iron Baby and Stripper? And is there a chance Fabulous 4 quests will roll over as well or should I speed up those to finish before the deadline? Please advice, thx.

They will. But if you have the character unlocked, no worries about completing the quests. Once unlocked and running tasks, they’re yours to keep. 🙂 (Bonnie is here to stay after Con regardless)

I’ve got two questions. Could you please answer them?
1. What is the exact time for comic con to end. I’ve heard it will end on sunday, I’ve heard it will end on 8th and also 9th. So when does it exactly end?
2. Will there be coming another thing for blam or am I free to waste it now? I don’t want to just loose all my blam at the end of the event, but knowing tinyco, they just might release something in the last minute. So am I free to waste my blam now or do I have to wait?

Outfit will not end on Monday. At this point, for you, you’ll have as long as you need to complete it.

So, just to clarify: at this moment I have 6 fishnets, 4 stripper heels, and 5 wax to collect to unlock Bonnie’s stripper costume (200 Clam value) and I won’t need to rush to buy whatever of those I have remaining on Monday (which, let’s face it, would probably be the wax)?

Welp, got Rollocop this morning and Mutant Stewie just now, and with Stripper Bonnie extended, that’s about it for this event in my case. And it was a huge success IMHO. 5 new characters, 8 costumes and a ton of new buildings. I’ll try to get Stewie Bot from the box now, so it ain’t over yet I guess.

If it’s an Event Exclusive and you haven’t purchased it in your town…it will disappear once the event ends tomorrow. So you will no longer be able to purchase it.

This may be well documented elsewhere but I wanted to give some advice to people who are still working on unlocking Iron Baby. With time running out, the main thing is to get the demon plates by vanquishing Demon Stewie. If you wait for the timer to run out and start from scratch, you can get more demon plates under your belt in a shorter time rather then trying to get the required amount of harpoons for the 15x or 30x. Of course this will mean less Blam, but it could possibly help you get Iron Baby under your belt before the event ends. And of course this is also dependent on how you farm harpoons; if you simply buy them with clams then no need to wait necessarily, just use them and get the extra Blam too. I haven’t bought any so I’m only using the harpoons generated by the character quests, so this technique worked for me. Hopefully my explanation makes sense.

So glad the Stripper Bonnie quest was extended. I was actually able to unlock Rollocop and Iron Baby (which I honestly had doubts about as well), but I didn’t get the prompts for the stripper outfit until this afternoon. With less then 48hrs I knew it would be chronologically impossible. This is really impressive that TinyCo listens and doesn’t just say “Too bad, spend the money for clams.” Thanks TinyCo!

I cotctd Tiny Co about my issue and got a response in less than 10 hours. They refunded half of my clams! Wow this was really nice! I also got blame refund! Great co.I loved this event and look forward to the next one. Thank you to you guys for all you guys do!

I happened to have 20,000 Blam I was saving to hopefully use to unlock Stan Lee, RolloCop or Multiplier after I first had all their items, but used it instead to buy Minion Stewie even though I haven’t unlocked Stewie yet. The option to buy Minion Stewie appeared while I was on working on Demon Child Part 3. I think the option to buy Minion Stewie pops up at Demon Child Part 1 and not Part 5.

I love that TinyCo listened and extended stripper Bonnie. Now instead of wondering what I am going to do after Comicon ends (and I stand firm on this being an awesome event), I am looking forward to unlocking Stripper Bonnie.

This may be old news but I just found it. Stewie’s 2 hour harpoon task is dropping all three harpoon types. Better yet, to speed the task up costs 4 clams. 4 x 15 speed ups = 60 clams like in the store, but of ALL THREE harpoon types! A 180 clam value! Please confirm and share this possible tip. Thx!

They shouldnt give us whatever we ask for, kinda ruins the game for me. We should all complain that we want 500 free clams so we can get cranston for free too huh

Sure you would. It’s not about giving us everything, it’s about making it possible, also for people who have jobs.
The quests leading up to the collecting for Bonnie’s stuff took 12 hours many times. Leaving only a few days for collecting the hard to get stuff you’ll only complete if you are LUCKY and they decide to drop. And all that in a very short time frame.
Other than that, I do agree with you some things are nice to be challenging, but this one was not it.

First time poster and a huge thanks to you all for your amazing posts and advice. I started the game the day before Comic Con and have been having a blast. I’ve earned everything except I will be cutting it real close on Rollocop and might have to finish with a few clams. My question is does Rollocop have a build time at AL’s? Again thanks for all the help. I would haven’t made it so far without you all!

Very good news about Bonnie, though out of curiosity I’m still going to try to see how much of the stuff I can get between now and when comic-con ends, see how many clams it would take me to get it if they didn’t change the rules. I’m about to finish the last quest before starting item collection as I write this.

I loved this event until now. I too spent a lot of clams to speed up Bonnie’s questline so I could get the items needed before the end of the event. It is nice that they did it but it should not have taken o long. I am mad. Tiny co should care more about premium players. It seems they listened to the freemium players whining about it and now I feel cheated. This was the first time I spent money on this game and if this is how they treat paying players I will not be spending any more money. I know it was my choice but the costume was supposed to only be available during comic con. Not fair Tiny co.

but now a serious question… when the event ends, will there be a pop-up saying: “you haven’t completed the rollocop quest, do you want to buy 1 chip for 20 clams and finish it?”…. OOOR do I have to do this before it ends and there will be no such pop-up (in case I don’t get the chip)? I’m not from USA so I’m not sure when it will end for me..

Glad that they made the Bonnie change. I was originally here to ask for opinions as to whether to spend the clams I already have on rushing tasks in hope for the items, or to send people on Blam/Harpoon tasks for enough mystery boxes to hope for enough clams to buy the costume outright.
Now that I’m in the item gathering stage, I should be safe then to ignore those tasks and re-focus on harpoons, to earn more blam, to buy more boxes and make more clams?
Also, that last sentence from the word “re-focus” was kind of a poem.

I thinkbits fantastic that TinyCo has listened to us fans of their game, especially Stripper Bonnie. But, I must say their communication skills are awful.
That being said, any word on YOUR end of whether or not TinyCo will refund clams spent by peiple who panicked about Stripper Bonnie’s timetable and tried to speed things up? Let me first say, I know they have policies in place about not refunding things, I get it. However, if you think about it, this is the same situation as the fusion reactors: They lowered the price (i.e. made it easier to get), and refunded people who spent the original amount, just as they “lowered” the difficulty on getting Stripper Bonnie after people spent many, many clams to hasten along some of her tasks (as did I, using my last 44 on part 1). Its the same thing, I think some people should be recompensated.
Bunny and Alissa, what do YOU think? Its almost not fair to do it for one group but not another. I have written TinyCo TWICE about this question and they will not respond… not even a generic message about ‘receiving it and looking into it”. Is there any way that one of YOU could communicate this question to them?

The reactors were different. That was an error and therefore a refund due.
Bonnie was not intended to continue and only changed due to player response. She was changed pretty quick. Spending clams on speeding up is a personal choice, so I don’t see it meriting a refund as it was not their doing that they were spent. Hooe that makes sense. You can ask if you’d still like, but I honestly doubt it will happen. They didn’t force anyone to spend them where the Blam they did.

UGH! I check this site before I do anything in my game, but the one time I don’t I rushed red hot at the party and throwing fire. ( she was cought analyzing mutant DNA, while everyone else ws at the party lol, and I wanted to start collecting for Bonnie tonight to have a hope of getting her.) So of course the one time I don’t check the site i waste 12 clams or so, only to, find out she is extended… I am so dumb.

Tbh this isn’t fair, I spent clams to speed up bonnie task so I cud get the costume & now they extend post comic con.
It’s nice tht they listen to ppl.
But they need to start making up their mind abt stuff and sticking to it or if u really wana chg ur decision do it in like a few hours or in a day not like after 2-3 days

I do not think they screwed up. It is a personal choice to spend clams. I prefer them to make changes to help players in the long run. Anytime any of us premiums spend clams (us Addicts included) we need to weigh the pros and cons of “is it worth it” and be prepared to except any consequences that come with it. This is why we stress to all players to hang on to them and see what happens. Don’t buy items until we can test them out live and give feedback. Etc. In the end, it comes down to what we each choose to do with our clams.

Bunny, they clearly said earlier she’s available till comic con event, so like me others tried to get her costume via spending clams … And now they don’t notify when u open the game that she’s still available post comic con … I get to knw frm the addicts blog… They should do a pop up within the game to let ppl knw she’s available post comic con.

I respectfully disagree. I also spent like 25 or 30 clams to speed things up (luckily I made them back right away with the blam boxes) but as Bunny said, it’s our choice.
I admit I almost was not going to speed up tasks thinking that they might extend it, but I didn’t want to gamble. Oh well, live and learn.
Problem is that Tinyco does it so often that I am afraid to spend my bombs, harpoons and blam to get stuff cause I expect another quest to pop up like kill X amount of minions, or defeat mutant stewie X amount of times and win so many clams. But if I don’t see something soon, I’ll start blowing everything.

Plus after the Full Moon event they gave us more land to buy, along with District 8, and that cost a LOT, so you never know, they might do the same again, I know I’d appreciate more land.

Good news about Bonnie. Just wish I had read it before I spent clams speeding up tasks so I could start collecting stuff for Stripper Bonnie. Then realized it was an impossible task to finish in 3 days. I stopped farming harpoons after I had collected everything from the first Blam Box and began working on normal quests. Now I think I can get enough Blam for Demon Stewie but may have to give up on 2nd Blam Box. Still loving this event and game.

I really hope that tiny co will give us the option to trade in bombs and batteries for blam on the last day. I have a ton of both and will definitely not run out of either before the event is done.
