Well….the end is near! In just a few hrs Comic-Con will officially leave our Tiny Quahogs and things will return back to normal. Well as normal as they get in Quahog!
In an effort to make sure everyone’s on the same page about the end of the event we thought it would be effective to do a wrap up post and answer many of your Comic-Con Event ending questions! So here we go…
When Does Comic-Con End?
Per TinyCo…it’s scheduled to end at 3pm PDT on 9/8.
What Time is that Where I Am?
It’s basically impossible for me to calculate everyone’s different time zones. However, I can tell you that it converts to 6pm EDT and 2200 GMT (or 10pm GMT). If you need more clarification beyond that you can check out this site for a timezone conversion…
Where’s Page 7?
It’s coming today. It’s up now. As soon as ALL of the pages are up we’ll have a fun post showing the whole comic book.
Is There More Coming? Am I Safe to Spend My Blam!?
No new Blam! items are coming into the game. So it’s safe to spend all of your Blam! at this point on items you want. Remember…you have to use it or you lose it.
I Didn’t Finish Collecting For Stripper Bonnie, Will I Lose her?
No. Stripper Bonnie has been extended beyond Comic Con. In fact it has no end date. As long as you start Hostess with the Mostest Questline (in order to get this you have to have won Red Hot) you’ll be able to continue on with her AFTER Comic-Con. So no rush to get those items!
But I Spent Clams to Speed Her Up, Will TinyCo Refund me?
I don’t know. All I can say is you can try. Don’t expect an answer back on it today though…they’re trying to wrap up all the other Comic-Con issues to ensure the ending is smooth.
Will Bonnie’s New Stripper Pole Be Around After the Event?
Yes. ALL of Stripper Bonnie will be around after the event. This includes her pole. As long as you start part 1 of Hostess with the Mostess BEFORE Comic Con ends you can unlock Stripper Bonnie and her Pole AFTER the event ends.
How About My Blam! Refund for Reactors?
If you purchased reactors at the higher price, before they lowered it, and sent in a refund request….in most cases they’ve already responded and refunded the Blam! to you. If you have not heard back yet….they’re working to get through the last few before the end of the event.
I Purchased Mutant Stewie And I Got Iron Baby, But I Don’t See Them in Al Harringtons OR My Inventory. Where Are They?
If you currently do NOT have Stewie unlocked you won’t see them in your game until AFTER you’ve unlocked Stewie. Once you unlock Stewie they’ll both appear in Al’s.
If you currently have Stewie and aren’t seeing either costume in Al Harringtons contact TinyCo. This could be a glitch with your game.
Only Contact TinyCo if You HAVE Stewie Unlocked and can’t find them. If you don’t have Stewie Unlocked and can’t find them they won’t show until you’ve unlocked Stewie.
And YES you must collect all the reactors AND Demon Plating in order to get Iron Baby after the event ends…
Will the Celebrities and Superheros Leave When The Event Leaves?
Yes and No. IF you’ve fully unlocked a celebrity OR Superhero they will stay in your Quahog FOREVER (even if you don’t have the questline finished). As long as you’ve fully unlocked them (ie they’re a playable character in your town) they’re yours to keep. However, if you haven’t finished unlocking them they will leave when the event is over.
What Happens to the Questlines I’m Not Finished With?
Any Comic-Con related questlines (except for Bonnie, Rollocop and Iron Baby) will leave with the event.
(Note: Rollocop MUST be created BEFORE the event ends or you will miss out on getting him. Also, Part 1 of Iron baby MUST be created before the event ends (Reactors and Demon Plating must be collected). And Part 1 of hostess with the mostess MUST be complete in order to unlock Stripper Bonnie after the event)
What Happens to All my Excess Harpoons, Batteries & Bombs?
They’ll leave with the event too. Use them or lose them.
What Happens to Comic-Con Buildings In my Quahog?
If YOU built the building and it’s in your Quahog (ie you spent Clams or Blam! on it) it’s yours to keep forever. Any buildings in the store will leave when the event leaves…ie buildings you haven’t purchased. So make sure you take this opportunity to purchase any other buildings you may want in your town before they’re gone forever.
What About the Q, Convention Center and Calmterprise?
The ones that are part of the Comic-Con District will leave when the event leaves. The ones you won will stay in your town. So basically the whole Convention Center District will be leaving once the event is over…
What About The Director Chairs For Characters I’ve Unlocked? Where Are they?
They should be placed in your inventory once the event ends. This applies to chairs for Patrick, Ron, Felicia and Stan. The Chairs for Bryan, Nathan and George should already be in your town if you’ve unlocked them.
What Buildings Will be Leaving with the Event?

And we noted it was a technical issue of mass issues for players to continue them the way they wanted, so it and the mutant factory were not able to do so. Matt from TinyCo posted a comment here about it.

Because the characters give you money and they are just decorations. A plus with the character.

Ever since the event ended my game won’t load all the way. It attempts to load and still has the comic con picture. Is anyone else having this problem and what do i do to fix it?

Pretty annoyed by the entire event. I didn’t start the game until August 1. Thought 40 days would be enough, but I simply couldn’t get it all done and progress the game at the same time. Spent $60 on clams and still only managed to get about 67k blam.
On top of that, I lost 15k blam bc my workers were stuck building and it wouldn’t let me spend the rest until they finished. So I sat there watching them work, wishing I was allowed to spend my hard earned blam.
At least I got Bryan Cranston…

Ihad bought the George Takei Fencing Studio, but since the game reset, it isn’t in my inventory. Is there anyway to get it since I paid so much Blam! for it? Also, will they be offering the prime things again? I missed getting the Clamterprise and was hoping that it would be offered in the future? Also, the star trailers, was there one for George Takei and Nathan Fillion?

Don’t know about offerings in the future. Contact them from your game about missing buildings. Only 5 trailers were offered. Hope that helps. 😉

Ha, Comic-Con ended in my app over two weeks ago, right after the first gigant Stewie squid appeared. I didn’t even had a chance to fight him. Ron was left stuck in the forest with only two records left to unlock him, until he also disappeared last week….
Was hilarious to see the happy splash screen announcing that Comic-Con was over… What a joke…

Disappointed. Now I know my Joe quests will disappear when he’s done with his 24 hour task. That’s the only what I have now.. Im looking forward to district 9 and hope they plan on keeping us event free until closer to Halloween!! I need to start cleaning my house that I’ve neglected for over a month playing my game. XD

I have a question now I thought we were told that if we won the Q hotel even after Comecon it will continue to generate nerds that we could possibly win clams from yet sense the removal of the comic con event I have not had one nerd in my town

My rollocop quest ended also after ComicCon did. I should have been on Rollocop Pt. 6.
Also, does Stripper Bonnie have a questline? I just created her today and no questline appeared.

After the initial questline, no there’s no further quests for Stripper Bonnie.
Rollocop glitched at the end of the event causing the questline to end for some players unfortunately.

I won all the prizes in the Blam! score. Why is the Q Hotel not spawning nerds now it’s all over? It does state that it does.

I enjoyed this event and I will miss it but I’m kinda glad that I don’t have to check my phone every 2hrs and keep collecting them harpoons, only to find it’s always the wrong ones I needed to banish stewie lol.
It’s going to be nice for the next few days to have some normality back in my life lol. My only regret is not buying Bryan Cranston as now there is a empty space in the facespace square to go with the other 2 :-(.

Not a huge deal, but rollojoe quest stopped as soon as my 24 hour task finished. Still had 2 parts left. Also that task only gave xp and not coins. Again not a big deal.

Happened to me also. Finished a 24 quest and waited for the exclamation point and nothing. But that is ok…I will put all my people on 24 hour tasks and take a break for awhile. Plus I am into the Simpsons event so I can concentrate on that.

Feels like rollocop works better for iOS than android even tho it was supposed to be a present for them because I unlocked him thru my iPhone and I can use and see him on both my iPad and iPhone next to my golden suit peter not to mention his questline is still in my game seems like android users have been the only ones to a have problem with rollocop shouldn’t it be the other way around? xD

Great event but I’m glad it’s over. I really needed a break from blowing up mutant Stewies! Is it my imagination or did they have more buildings associated with this event? I only purchased the freemium ones and still ran out of room. I’m wondering, did anyone purchased all of them and was able to fit everything in their town?

I really like this event the only thing that I was disappointed about was I was one item away from getting rolo Joe. And of course the event ended before I was able to get that last piece and I didn’t spend the blam to get the ask Jeeves store so I was kind of just out both of the items because I had to go to work at four and the event ended at six 😦 so I had 8000 blam and lost it all.. I could have even bought more Rupert mystery boxes!

Well, two weeks ago i was very sceptic that I’ll get George, but in two weeks I got 160k blam, before that i had 35k. Harpoons and minions changed the game. Also I got everything that was possible besides 500clams star, because I got everything as freemium player, even 250clams star was from freemium collected clams. Now i got only to collect some more items for Bonnie and voila! lol 😀

So i was partway towards unlocking quagmires multiplier outfit when the event ended, but now i can still set jerome, chris and peter on tasks which drop the ‘stuff’ for the multiplier. Any thoughts guys??

I can confirm for anyone thay wasted clams hurrying Bonnie that Tinyco has no intention of even partial refunds, or addeessing the situation.
I guess we got took fair and square in their book. 😐
its a minor issue and it isn’t even the clams- its the priciple. they say hurry up limited time, they most certainly are responsible for us doing just that.
Then again, maybe that’s why they gave up so many clams; they knew we wouldn’t have them long… lol

Bad luck for me, but i left the event with about 100+ harpoons… 😦 i got some bad draws and the same type of harpoon was needed 3 times in a row at the end… would be n1ce if the programmers perhaps can prevent that from happening in next events…

First of all, I wanna say thanks for all the hard work and speedy updates – this has been (and still will be) my go to place for all things FGTQFS. You guys did an amazing job!
Second, am I (as an obsessed FGTQFS completist who spent lots of time & money so that I’ll be able to get every character, building and decoration) the only one who is running out of space? I already deleted all of my roads, and put some of my stuff in inventory). Is there a way to convince TinyCo to add space? Maybe even for coins like in the Simpsons tapped out game?

I am wondering about the Q Hotel’s spawning nerds and the Facotry’s spawning minion stewies. Haven’t seen them yet in town even though buildings have paid off already. They were said to continue to spawn things after comic con was over, however. It would not surprise me if they are somehow delayed, though, considering that the hour around the 6pm cutoff was a total mess (connection overload, chairs not appearing in purchase menu until well after 6pm, some leftover things roaming around, etc…I chalk it up mostly to having to roll out a revised version of the app server-side LIVE while people are hitting it hard, something I don’t envy. Impressed they managed to keep things running.)
Any word on if/when these spawnings will occur and what they will look like?

They won’t. I believe the minions n nerds caused too many crash issues on devices. Not sure exacts, but they chose to not keep them spawning.

Is there any word on district 9 opening I have nothing to do and have about 600k coins…….do you think tiny co will ever release like a catch up box for special items such as the ring of fire or other missed items like that thanks for the input

I got all the 5 vehicles and never got my fabu-jet. Thought it would show up when it ends and it never did. WHY? 😦

Contact TinyCo via the in-game message system. If you have all the other vehicles the jet should be in your inventory, if it’s not they’ll have to further look into it.

Thanks for all the help in this event, and the game as a whole. I really liked the event. My complaint, and it’s a minor one, was that it went on a little too long, to the point I was glad for it to be over. Overall though I think TinyCo did a great job with it.

Hello again. Thanks much for this website and all your help, you guys are providing great support for us addicts. Where do we meet to discuss the twelve steps and all that ? jk…I posted earlier and asked about Nathan Fillion questline , as I bought him late in the event. It turns out , his quests seem to live on. I just finished the “fun in the sun” part and the next 2 parter that involves cleaning Bonnie’s house, popped right up. Go figure. ty again for your help.

Honestly, it’s pretty nice that it’s over. Has been very stressful, haha. On the other hand, it kept me occupied. I really hope they release the next district VERY soon so we at least get something to do..I also hope they will be adding WAY more districts later on and make it MUCH bigger.
Would love to get some news on this, perhaps an ETA for District 6. Keep up the good work with this site.

Great event, fun and entertaining, just long enough. Obviously had some cons, the least of which was a lost non-refunded 100 clam building that didn’t drop a single mag. Still got everything free and premium that I wanted, so I’m extremely pleased with my results.

site again. Invaluable. Neatest timing on Red Hot costume, I read the warning in the middle of a costume build, and about to hit the collect button while I was checking your site. Avoided another annoyance. Pays to be behind sometimes.
I started the game 4 days before ComicCon hit, with exactly 2 characters unlocked. Zero clue what was happening. Thought I’d just sit on the sidelines envying the fun, instead ended up with GT freemium (!!) 2 weeks ago because of your site, and was so pleased I spent cash for BC, NC and fun buildings, and 2000 clams left. You guys should get a cut of that from TinyCo, haha. Not liking Tapped Out’s Clans event as much. Thanks again.

Any reason why Felicia’s freeze gun task got nixed? I don’t think that there was anything comic con specific about it. Killing it killed one of the better animations. Shame.

Yeah, but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t just drop the chip collection part and continue the coin and xp drops. They do it with every other character’s tasks.

Really dissapointing, it was probably the best designed building in the game.

It was a good event but I don’t feel like I made enough petty complaints or took out my perceived slights on the FGA staff. I’ll have to be on top of that more with the next event. I actually spent quite a bit of real world money this time. It’s ok though because I blamed it on my three year old. Ahhh the joys of parenthood. Anyway, I think you guys did a great job on keeping us up to date with news and techniques. I noticed there was an increase in comments and ya’ll still managed to keep up the pace even with Cybersilly MIA. I hope he is ok and wish him the best. I still don’t know how you do it, especially with screening every post personally. I really admire that very much. It keeps the site classy and troll free. Thanks again guys and sorry for calling you guys all the time. It’s meant in the nicest, and most respectful way. Keep doing what you do. Oops, almost forgot to flirt with Bunny. Good event, and well done of TinyCo, especially given its scope. I am glad for a break as my town and my inventory are in utter chaos at the moment. In fact…
I sorta hope that before section 9 opens we could just get the chance for more land. A LOT more land. I have all that you can get. Right now I pretty much only have my buildings up (and stored some of my offices) because it looks so horrible with them all up. I can’t imagine how it would look if I put up all my Comicon stuff!
