Hey there Clammers. Just hopping on by to drop a line of a few announcements we have seen and wanted to share. Most just took effect yesterday, so I am glad for that. TinyCo loves to hear from their players and makes changes in regards to their requests.
Now on to the news that excites me the most as it is my FAVORITE Holiday. WOOHOO!!!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Spooks n Freaks n all sorts of doing naughty lil tricks and giving out treats. I CAN’T WAIT!!! I would love to see a Pink Brian Costume, Stewie the Duck, Meg needs a Cat Costume, Chris a Transformer. Lois…well…she can go as pretty much anything. Lol. Mort needs a costume, Jerome too. Maybe even a closet task for Meg n Chris? Bwahahahahha.
Now the question is, what do YOU want to see them introduce with this one? What Halloween Family Guy moments were YOUR favorite? What naughty lil tricks do YOU think TinyCo has in store for us? Let the speculation begin in the comments below. WOOHOO!!

Hollow’s Eve Event.
A day where monster, witches and goblins use to blend in with regular people, and to play tricks. A few smart citizens in Quahhog know the truth, and decide to become Monster Hunters.
To make a anti-monster bombs attacks like mini stewies in comic con. Bombs drop from different jobs from the characters who will also have a hunter outfit.
Maybe weak monsters like zombies can be tapped to destroy them and bigger ones require the above mencioned bombs. To see Quahog swarmed with monsters would be extremelly cool.
The outfits could be a parody of Ghostbusters, or Van helsing. Or even the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. (Quagmire would be the invisible man, oh!, imagine what could he do with such power)

I know everyone seems to want duck Stewie and pink Brian, but what about a joint costume between Stewie and Brian, where they both are dressed as Snoopy? And by “joint costume” I simply mean the stuff is all collected together, and they -must- both wear it at the same time and all their tasks are linked.

If we get Jason and Freddie we got to have Jason ‘ s little boy from camp. Other celebs that would be fun to unlock- Frankenstein Dracula you already have mummy skins (and in a hot tub too) but please please please a werewolf and maybe some like pinhead or chuckie

Probably technically impossible but how mental would it be if they did a Tapped Out/Quest for Stuff cross app event for that. It’ll never happen but I think my brain just exploded at the possibility…

ghosts, zombies, mummys…
Maybe we will see Toilet paper for Tee Pee, also maybe eggs… and Mummys, face paint…candy, /candy corn…toffee apples, pumpkins/jack o lanterns/grave stones…i recall TSTO having a similar thing with zombies and mummys spawning/coming out of the ground and stuff maybe it will be similar
i have seen people mentionng about costumes and other characters like Freddy Kruger, but i havnt seen the most obvious….

I just want to see my previously purchased premium buildings be useful for something else now.
Example. Bought the Nifty Fifties Diner to get the extra rare items. Now its as good as useless. Next costume/character items needed, I’d like to see drop from the Diner. Everyone seems to have their own unique items needed, but why can’t a character require some sundaes or even something else drop from the diner?

So far, no one has mentioned Bill Clinton, (possibly a duet with the Q-man), crazy Margot Kidder (possibly a duet with Asian corespondent Tricia Takanawa), long lost family member Kathy Griffin, (or “the Unwashed Hand”), Brian and the Irish sheep…
The squid in the kitchen no one discusses, the Trisomy Bitch, old man Stewie, Meg joins a cult with Koolaid, and Lando….
The Church of Fonzie, Peter’s real father and the broth of his own shileleigh, Cristobal (with Kate), and Consuela can drink Windex with Kitty Dukakis.

Quahog: Return of the Living Dead. All of the toxic chemicals from the pesticides and pesticide bombs used to defeat Giant Stewie and the minion Stewies during Comic-Con have seeped into the ground bringing all the dead Quahogians back to life on Halloween.
Peter, Quagmire, Joe and Cleveland unite to stop the zombie uprising, while dealing with a town full of trick-or-treaters. Lois stays at home and hands out candy.

Actually..I will say this. My money goes A LOT further in TSTO. $100 will last me at least 6-8 months in TSTO…and I buy EVERYTHING (Except the whale..). Here I put $100 in at the start of Comic Con and I had to put another $100 in before Comic-Con was over..and that was for my personal game, so it was to speed up tasks etc.

Agreed, almost 300 clams for some of the buildings that are only useful for one quest or to unlock one character. I’ll pay that price for a building that drops items that will used in multiple quests/character unlocks. But geesh! I too spent too much during ComicCon and my bank is now on lock down. 😉 But I did unlock Bonnie without rushing tasks! That was nifty to earn her outright just by playing with patience. It does seem like clams don’t go far in this game. TSTO payments always last me longer.

For me, I feel that the biggest difference is that TinCo is honest about things costing clams.
EA Sports creates quests for prizes that are impossible to obtain without spending donuts. It’s infuriating.
Bryan Cranston, Nathan Fillion, and now the Coked up Giraffe are perfect examples of just saying, “If you want this, its going to cost you clams.”

They should have the killed off characters as zombies, not generic ones. Mr. Weed, Diane, Loretta, Francis, Muriel, Horace, and led by Bertram. They should have nothing like the minions, but tapped like the mummies,

As for ideas for the Halloween event, how about instead of nerds that you have to tap on to get rid of, have it be bullies that appear. Tapping on them could drop any number of things!
And a Japanese War Plane as an item would be AWESOME.
I would say the following are almost ‘non negotiable’:
* Duck Stewie
* Pink Brian
* Some reference to Chris and Meg making out
* Quagmire getting bit by a mosquito in some fashion

Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger have both had cameos on Family Guy. I’d LOVE to see these two in the game, but knowing TinyCo, if they did pit them in, it would be like they did with Bryan Cranston……..”Pay us $40 and you can have him”
TinyCo seems to like sticking ridiculous prices on items and characters that they think will make them cash.
A character is worth $10 (250-300 clams)…………there is NOTHING in these games worthy of $40-$50 (500-1000 clams)……….NOTHING.

I hope it incorporates getting new land (yes, even more after the event getting ready to drop). I have a ton of stuff in storage and would love to bring it out to make my town better. Just hoping, I know the event will be fun.

I want pink bryan. So many options for costumes. Everyone needs one, even the earned characters like spiderman Stan Lee and hellboy. I also would love trick or treaters you can steal candy from or give if your nice. Hopefully the bullies from that episode too.

Costumes for everyone would be cool, but I’d feel for the TinyCo if they did with all that coding for each one… and there could be so many ways to go with everyone’s costumes… BrownCoat/SpaceCowboy Nathan Fillion…. *already drooling over that one*… They could go so many ways with one for Stan Lee – they could make a whole variety of “avengers” themed ones also (of course changing the names some lol) not to mention any other marvel universe character… and not only Hellboy for Ron Perlman but also a SoA style one… oooh… this is sounding better and better 😉

I’m hoping they’ll introduce some of the show’s deceased characters, maybe in zombie form, ghost form or just as themselves. It would be cool to have Diane return and try to get her revenge, or Bertram come back, or Mr Weed, or one of Peter’s parents, or Muriel, or Loretta. Jeez they killed a lot of characters off. Or it would be sweet if they brought in some of the show’s recurring villains, like Patrick or James Woods.

Good…Halloween time…should be plenty of time to allow us to get Prison Meg and unlock some of District 9…I would hate to start on those and then push them off for a month to do another event, especially when 1 just ended.
Also, the people finder button is great. Just like TSTO. I used to click a character and then assign him a task right away, then get frustrated cause the next character unlocked a quest that involved the person I just tied up. Now I can click everyone and then afterwards assign them to tasks when I feel like it..don’t have to search the town for them. Great addition.

I meant is it likely based on previous experience that my phone will cope with an event like Halloween or should I upgrade e.g. does anyone know if the iphone 4 ran the comicon event well. I already had to clear a load of stuff off my phone to run this app and tapped out. I play this app constantly and am totally addicted.

Still hard to say as I dont know what kind of drain on memory it will be. No way to know til it hits on just how it will impact devices. Impossible til it goes live. 🙂
All devices struggled off n on with Con event. It’s a matter of how compatible TinyCo makes it for them. They try to change on the fly to help if some struggle. Sorry, wish I had better answer but just nothing to base it off of yet. 😉

Having worked at apple, I recommend against the 4S, since it’s technology is very outdated. I would get a 5C, which is free with contract or a 5S, if you need more storage, for $99 with contract. They just dropped the prices, after announcing the new 6’s. I had played TSTO on my iPhone5 for a year, before getting an iPad air and I couldn’t imagine playing any other way now. There are so many details in the animation. Of course, I only play when I’m in WiFi, but it helps dial down my obsession with both games. Whatever you get, it’s still a ton ‘o fun!

There are countless possibilities for Halloween. Brian as Snoopy, Quagmire as Napoleon Dynamite, Peter as Lara Bush, Lois as the guy she killed “Lara Bush killed a guy.” Bringing back characters that were killed off would be interesting as well – Mr. Weed, Loretta, Diane Simmons, Muriel Goldman, James Woods… Changing the atmosphere by making it nighttime in Quahog for the duration of the Halloween event would be neat too. I’m predicting that Death and the Evil Monkey will show up next month as well.

I’d love to see Seamus get a costume as well and if there will be so many costumes or possibly new characters to unlock, I feel like TinyCo should reward the players who were able to unlock previous limited time players/costumes by making the limited time characters/costumes drop items at a higher frequency than the normal characters (this could be used in the future). For instance, Buzz Killington, Jake Tucker and Consuela haven’t had a useful action since i unlocked them, nor has King Butt.

My guess is we’ll probably have to scare away/destroy trick ‘r treaters in a similar fashion as minions or nerds.

I think TinyCo should let us visit houses all over Quahog and collect sweets and turn them into Clams, Silver Coins or Goodies (or just get fat and hyped off sugar treats!)
