Stewie gets things rolling in Quahog with his 5 part Sexy Party Questline AND the 4 part Bad Bromance questline, if you have Rupert. So yes, unfortunately, you do have to have Stewie in order to unlock the costume in your Quahog.

My first comment in this post last week was that there would be a lot of people complaining that the game was unfair… Guess I was correct 🙂
Is there any way that you guys (Alissa and Bunny) could just post the generic replies directly to the requesters via email? It is obvious that these people don’t read any of the posts and it is very annoying for those of us who do, having to read the same response over and over again.

So it’s 11am here and I got carter and Jerome doing the 2hrs for the champagne and all I need is 1 more!!! So I have a 1/4 chance of getting it well this is going to be aggravating…. Why can’t tiny co give us more time? Seriously 1-2 days would be appreciated, the stuff drops like Stewie Plutonium

I think he was asking if the questline would vanish at 3pm PDT if he already has the outfit. I’m only one music note away from getting the outfit and I was wondering the same. I’m hoping the ‘Time for a Sexy Party’ and ‘Bad Bromance’ questlines stick around as long as I have the outfit like other questlines have in the past after their event ends (ie Stripper Bonnie, Rollocop Joe)

Why doesn’t Tiny Co have the pop-up anymore about Sexy Stewie being a limited time pickup? They had it for a day or two, but no more. When you click on the Stewie task icon, it only tells you the items you need. If not for this website, I’d never know there was still a time limit. Thanks for helping us all out.

This event is way too short. 3 days? And I’ve made Asian Peter dance 4 times with nothing dropped. Thats 32 hours.. longer if u consider i do work and try to sleep on occasion. I’ve had jerome and carter do their tasks over 15 times and only 3 bottles have dropped. I understand trying to spread things out but this should have been a week or even 5 days..not 3 days.

So I have been running these jobs the entire event and I’m still 1 champagne and and 4 music notes short. The drop rate has been horrendous.
Help guys? Do I spend 100+ clams or pray they give one extra day?
Where I am it’s bed time and when I wake the event is due to be over. Even if every character dropped one and I set an alarm I still can’t possibly do it. Kinda devo

You’ve got 9 more hrs. If they extend it (and I don’t think they will) we’ll know before those 9hrs are up. So keep plugging away the freemium way, and wait till the final hr to make the decision.

There is no indication anywhere in the actual game that the Sexy party Stewie costume is limited time. No timers…no limited time banner. And the original “Sexy Party Limited Time” event notification that was popping up Thursday and Friday no longer appears. I would hate to drop 80 clams when I don’t have to, to finish the outfit…also not entirely sure the outfit is worth 80 clams if there’s nothing to do with it. So are we sure the costume is limited time?

I’d like to echo the other comments about the drop rates being unusually bad. This event really should be extended…but I don’t understand why we have so many limited time events recently. I had a timer set to 2 hour increments all weekend and I have quite a bit to go. Jerome in particular is useless.

There must be something wrong with the drop rates. I have been playing the game non stop, making sure carter and Jerome are doing the task every two hours and I still need 2 more pink champagne and even the baby powder which was suppose to be common was dropping like a rare item. They have to do something about this quest. I love the game but this is ridiculous

I don’t have a countdown for Sexy Stewie Part 2. I know there was a limited time note on Part 1, but is that time limit still in force? I ‘only’ need another 4 music notes, but collecting this stuff has been a slog in the short time.

I just unlocked the costume by getting the last note. Phew. That was only possible thanks to diligently spending max awake hours, sending characters on as many jobs as reasonably manageable.
I was already beginning to accept the fact to miss out on the costume because I will never spend clams on them. Additional characters are one thing or costumes with premium benefits (like in TSTO) would possible change my mind, but the costumes (particularly the limited time ones) are usually not worth anything after completing their quest line.

I agree with everyone else on this Sexy Stewie skin… The drop rates on the champagne and dulcet tones are terrible!!! There is no way I am going to get this skin with the way these items HAVE NOT been dropping. Very frustrating, and definitely seems like a $$ grab by TC. Boo!!! Sorry TC, but you won’t be getting any $$ from me!

I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who has had issues with drop rates on this event. I’ve had 1 Tone drop in the last 12 tries (combination of Lois and Seamus nonstop). That’s an 8% drop rate – is that still considered a “rare” item? I’m still 4 Tones short and at that rate, no way to get the costume by the time the event is up.
Any word fromTinyCo on an extension? I would imagine quite a few upset players if we all spent the entire weekend just to come up short, not because of effort or not playing, but because of awful and miss-marked drop rates.

I finally got sexy Stewie without spending clams. Yay!!! I love the sexy party animations. I have noticed he does an odd backwards walk instead of turning when he walks away. His face always faces front. Weird. 😉

I think I may be able to get it. Its 9:10 GMT and all I need is 2 baby powders and 1 Wine. I will get the 2 powders but I may have to spend 40 clams to get it but this will be nearing the end of the day.

Just finished Sexy Stewie tonight. I must admit that I was worried if I would be able to get him in time, without spending any clams. My drop rates were strange. I got all three hats in a row from the Shanty Lobster. Baby powder dropped on a regular basis. The musical tones and the champagne were the most challenging ones. Sometimes I would get 4 tones in a row and then nothing, and I had Peter, Louis and Seamus doing the tasks.
I also purchased Rupert. I am kind of mad that it cost 250 clams to get him, when I could have gotten him during the mystery box event, I was one box away.
My drop rates to unlock Tom tucker are pretty bad. But I just keep trying..

I’ve been a huge fan of this game up till now, this stewie event just seems like a major con, the drop rates are dreadful and I’m no where near completing stewie, have far too many items to collect in far too short a time. I’m not spending money on this now after spending close to £250 on the comic con event. Why couldn’t they have spread this over a working week instead of a weekend? Look at the pink brian event, how few items you need over such a long spread of time

Is it worth $1?
C50 is $2 for the two items. If you never plan to use the tiger and robe station, it’s not worth it. However, I’m putting the tiger with the gorilla around the zoo to elevate it’s presentation. Also, Stripper Bonnie will appreciate having a dressing room after dancing non-stop for me.
By downgrading my Starbucks venti to a tall two times, I have more than enough to cover the costs. At $1 for each item, yeah, it’s worth it to me and maybe other people.

I honestly think they did this event to get people to spend money. After having my own frustrations with drop rates AND seeing everyone else’s problems with it as well, I don’t see how they intend on this to be done with out the money grab. This is the first event I have been extremely frustrated with the horrible drop rate on the champagne (and to an extent on the music notes also). After the numerous times I’ve had Carter and Jerome on their 2 hour tasks, I’m at only 1 of the “extra rare” champagnes. I’m also “luckily” at 8 of the 15 music notes. And I also am always at a loss when the character the costume is for has absolutely no tasks to help gain any of those items.

I dunno, I mean, are they not supposed to try and make money? And maybe I’ve had good luck, but I only need two more dulcet tones, and I have 8 more hours to get them. Seems achievable. My wife, on the other hand, still needs 2 more champagnes and 7 more tones. So for some people it’s do-able, for others with bad luck, not so much. It’s just a costume. Don’t spend money if you don’t want to. Most of the time these limited time costumes aren’t used once the quest associated with them is over.

We don’t know, honestly. We’re waiting for an answer from TinyCo on it…but don’t rush the questlines because you’re afraid they’ll disappear. They don’t unlock anything extra for you, so as long as you have the characters it’s not the end of the world if the quests don’t complete….

Just got sexy Stewie. I guess I was one of the lucky ones who had no problem with drops. Trying to figure out if using 50 clams for the tiger is worth it. Does the robe station give out payouts? I haven’t checked Sexy Stewies task list, but does he have any cool animations with the station?
I used 25 clams on Bonnie’s stripper pool because it has some use…was wondering the same for the station….

I don’t understand how two characters doing a 2 hour task for 3 days now has only netted me 3 champagnes and I’m supposed to be able to get the rest in less than a day? Doesn’t seem plausible to get this costume.

I would like to state that the more I had Lois, Carter and Jerome on their tasks seemed to impact the frequency of my drops. I was getting nothing all weekend, then tonight, bam! So keep on it, there may be hope for you yet. Needed 3 champagne, 1 hat, and 6 dolcet tone this morning, now I just need 1 dolcet tone.

I may be in the minority here but I really don’t want to drop 250 clams on Rupert. My question is, will this screw up the stewie sexy party time quest line because I just got him a little while ago. I’m thinking Rupert is separate but wanted to be sure before the deadline hits.
Or is there any other big reason to get him i.e., he collects items for characters.

(I know this isn’t tiny co) PLEASE give us more time on the costume 1-2 days I have 12/15 notes and 4/6 champagnes I think myself and a lot of other players would like and NEED more time for stewies sexy outfit, I have been basically on this app constantly and get only like 1 Champagne a day and the notes might be close so PLEASE fix and give us the players more time

I have not had Peter drop any baby powder for me since I switched him over from the musical notes yesterday. So I still need 5 baby powders, 5 dulcet tones and 2 pink champagnes or 180 clams. All of the drop rates seem off: baby powder is uncommon at best, dulcet tones seem right at rare, pink champagnes are epic and poncy hats seemed uncommon.

Can you please clarify the increased drop rate over time of extra rare and epic items.
I understand that the every time an item fails to drop, the chance to drop rises slightly. However, once the item drops, does the drop chance reset or remain at the increased rate?
I had 2 pink champagne drop at a rate of approximatly 1 per 20 attempts. At that rate 6 was impossible, so I was understandably frustrated. but in the past 12 hours I have had 3 drop and my left over free clams from comic con mean sexy stewie is in the bag even if the last one doesn’t drop.
Did I just get extremely lucky or does the drop rate not reset whe the item finally drops?
It it doesn’t reset, I would not have been anywhere near as frustrated and would not have lost hope of getting the costume.

I,m probably gonna need to use Clams to finish Stewies Sexy outfit, I got started on it very early Saturday morning, and since then I’ve had both Seamus and Lois on tasks for Delcet Tones non stop, and I’ve had 8 dropped by Seamus so far, but none at all from Lois, after 2 days! I did put her on another task this mourning, then put her back onto Teach Piano, but still none dropped at all, which doesn’t seem right to me, I should have got at least one shouldn’t I?

I think Lois only dropped the notes once for me. Couple of time by dancing Peter, the rest are from Shamus. I only have 8 of them now. Definitely not gonna get this skin. Oh well, i tried, except during sleep time. Just didnt get the reward.

What time does Sexy Stewie have to be completed by? And once I complete him I can continue with the story line or do I have to get to a certain part? I’m down to only 3 items left – 2 notes and 1 champagne. I’m thinking of calling in sick for work and blaming it on Sexy Stewie.

I have bugs in my game that will stop me from getting Pink Brian.
First off, I have had Peter with an exclamation point above his head for five days for the Back to You, Tom Pt. 1 (Help Tom Tucker), I have started collecting this but introduction keeps popping up and making the character finder nearly impossible to use. Then for two days Stewie has had an exclamation point above his head for What the Deuce Pt. 3 (Build City Hall). Even though I have built City Hall currently both Stewie and Lois are trapped in the Griffin house because it keeps popping up the dialogue for Pt 3. Since Lois is trapped I think I will be unable to get all of the music notes that I need to get Pink Brian.

First off…have you contacted TinyCo on any of this? Secondly, there was a fix that was supposed to help…is your game saved to an email or Facebook so you can wipe out the game by uninstall, restart, reinstall…then log back into the saved game?

I just spent a long time sending that message though my phone to TInyCo and then ten minutes later What the Deuce Pt. 4 popped up releasing Lois and Stewie from the Griffin House. The first problem is more of an inconvenience that I thought was going to go away when I started collecting for Tom, but that hasn’t happened yet. The second problem was major since I am trying to collect Pink Brian, but if the first problem caused the second problem, then I think it is going to keep happening.
There was a recent update that did not fix the problem. If it comes down to uninstall, restart, reinstall, then chances are I am only going to do the first and simply walk away from the game because that to me seems to be bad programming/customer service because there could always be the chance that is does not go back to where you were. I did not do that in the Comicon event and lost three days. These small problems that are just more nails in the coffin where to me the game is becoming more of a chore than a fun game.

I can understand what you are saying. I just know personally that the exact same game plays differently on each and every device. Out of the 6 ones we use for test, no two play alike. There is a factor of WiFi vs Data capabilities, storage capacity, memory drain, amount of items in the game…on n on n on. It also comes into play the device brand updates (like iOS and Android) and how those impact the game itself and compatibility. No matter what they do or try, there is ALWAYS a chance of a corrupt or incomplete file hitting a device. From any app for that matter. So if there is corruption, it needs to be removed. The uninstall/reinstall comes into play at that point. It clears out all that could be bad and lets you start fresh and new.
Just like a program I installed on my laptop 2 days ago. It was all sorts of buggy. So I tried it on my desktop, worked just fine. So I uninstalled it, restarted laptop, reinstalled it…worked just fine and still is to today.
It all comes down to you though. What you want to put into making something work. If it is not worth your time, that is your choice and option. We just try to help all we can, what you put to use is up to you. 🙂

I tried the uninstall, restart, reinstall, log back in and it worked for about five seconds. Bonnie popped up in my character finder and then it went right back to Peter.
I appreciate all the time, money and effort this website puts into getting information out. Too bad TinyCo does not do the same. Going by some of the responses they put out on the Facebook page, people have serious problems and then they reply hours later.

To give you a glimpse of the other side of it all…There is like 1 or 2 people trying to answer half a million readers daily on top of their normal jobs. Not so easily done. I get people want instant answers, and individual answers…but it’s impossible. Patience is all I can say. Our comments are moderated and controlled. Facebook you just can’t do the same. So the one comment in millions is easy to get lost.
It would happen here too if we took off moderation. No one would be answered correctly and some not at all as it’s hard to go back and pinpoint every single one on so many options of posts they’re scattered on.
There are only two of us now and people get angry if we don’t answer instantly here too. It’s nothing to do with not wanting to help. It’s more of too lil time and so many other jobs to do as well.
Hope that helps shed a lil light on things you may not see or know exist.

I have to say, the drop rates are unusually bad – just one drop in the last 24 hours and that was a Baby Powder. All character have been on their appropriate tasks pretty much constantly. The drop rate for this mini quest have been so bad that even I am questioning whether this was designed to fail in a bid to encourage clam sales……and I don’t subscribe to conspiracy theories.
As for Rupert – 250 clams? No way! – especially as I won him twice and lost him both times due to the game constantly crashing – and what was the response from TinyCo when I reported it – Nothing. Not even a generic response.
Lets see how the Halloween Event goes – slow drop rates are one thing – practically non-existent is another thing altogether.

Thats odd. I get baby powders all the time. That one is pretty common and on really short tasks.
Try force close and restart your game to see if it helps.

When these things stopped dropping, I tried a force close. No change. Restarted the device – no change. Might try a reinstall, but with about 24 hours to go and still a lot to try and get, I’m not going to hold my breath…….

Sorry. We try to help all we can. Just keep in mind, sending character on same task over n over is supposed to increase your odds. So if the task does NOT drop a material after so many tries, continuing to do that task makes your odds better.

I had Jerome doing his task 15 times and not one champagne glass from him. Still have way too much left. No chance of getting sexy stewie. I’d have to spend 260 clams still to get him

No worries. I guess I was a bit perplexed by this complete halt to the drops. Anyway, Since my initial post, I actual had just two drops – One Dulcet Tone and one Pink Champagne. So 2 items dropped in around 48 hours – I’ve had some bad drop rates over the months, but this is an all time low 😀
Can I just add that I appreciate all the work that both you and Alissa put into this site. It can’t be easy fitting it all in as well as dealing with Real Life.

This is really frustrating. I’ve been signing into my game every 2 hours since the sexy stewie flashed up and I still need 4 champagnes and 5 music notes. They just won’t drop!
