After a long wait the update has finally hit our games!
TinyCo’s giving us a chance to make summer last a little longer with the Kool-Aid Man! OOOOOHHHH YAAAAAHHH!!!
There’s also another chance to unlock Cleveland with this update…..
More details below the fold…
Unlock the Kool-Aid Man! You have 4 days (slightly more) to collect STUFF (ingredients) to unlock the Kool-Aid Man in your Tiny Quahog! Make sure Peter is free as he kicks this off with his Vinyl Pants. Lol.
UPDATE BUNNY 9-26: Per TinyCo, questlines for this will go when it ends. So up to you on what you want to complete, just know anything left will end at 3PM PDT regardless where you are on it.
You’ll see that a large Boom Box has dropped in your town after you start the Endless Summer quests (During Part 1 that triggers Kool Aid). Just like the Jack O Lantern and Animal Crate…this can drop ANYWHERE in your town. By waters edge. By edge of land. Behind buildings. Behind decorations. ANYWHERE. So seek it out. It is not really small in size, but small enough to hide. 3×4 Plot. Once located, you CAN tap on it and move it like any other item.
The boom box is where you’ll see the collection guide/manager for Kool-Aid Man:
As you can see…here’s what’s needed to unlock him:
10 Cherries (Always)- Get from Clearing Kool-Aid Man from your Quahog (he’ll pop up every 7hrs. Tap on him to earn Cherries)
8 Ice Cubes (Always)- Get From Good Times Pier OR From Kool-Air Beach Volleyball Court
25 Pitchers (Rare)- Get From Make Peter Dance the Shipoopi OR Make Jerome Play Ball OR Make Bruce Kitten Pickin’ OR Make Lois Buy Groceries OR Make Chris Fat Kid Hula Hoop
Note: I know A LOT of you are worried about collecting 25 pitchers in time…however it’s not so bad. Jerome’s task to do this is 1hr (and Chris has a 4hr task), focus on those two…send the others (if free) but don’t stress to much about them. Focus on Jerome for the most part. I just did a little test with it and sped him up 7 times and got 5 pitchers. It is completely doable…just have to focus on the right characters. Remember it’s only Friday…you still have more than 4 days to do it. Try it over the weekend and reserve judgement until Monday night 😉
UPDATE BUNNY 9-26: Per TinyCo, the decorations linked to this will go when it ends. So make sure you have purchased what you want in your game by then so you can keep it after it ends.
Endless Summer Decorations:
Endless Summer Banner– $250
Kool-Aid Sk8 Park– $3500
Big Bonfire– $2,000
Good Times Pier– $750. Earns $45,30xp/8hrs. Ice cubes will always drop from this as well.
Jetski Peigeon– 50 Clams
Kool-Aid Beach Volleyball Court– 125 Clams, always drops ice cubes. Earns $45, 30xp/8hrs
Kool-Aid Ferris Wheel– 250 Clams, Earns $70, 45xp/12hrs
Cleveland has also made a return to Quahog…so if you missed out on him during The Full Moon Event now’s your chance to get him. However….it’ll cost you. Cleveland is now a premium character and will set you back 400 Clams! He comes with his house and you’ll see the He’s Bla-ack….Again: Prelude pop up in your game for the option to purchase him.
UPDATE BUNNY 9-26: Per TinyCo, Cleveland is NOT linked to this so we currently do not have an end date for his availability. My opinion on him, all I can say is Halloween is coming up and he may play a main role. So you may want to pick him up if you don’t have him.
We’re awaiting FULL confirmation from TinyCo, but for now assume that ALL Kool-Aid decorations and buildings (along with Kool-Aid man) will disappear on 9/30 at 3pm PDT. If we have any changes to that we’ll update this post. (as far as Cleveland goes, we’re waiting for confirmation on him as well)

Anyway so yesterday I finally unlocked stewie!! Yay! I ended up using clams to finish getting pb&j Brian but now that I’m doing the kool aid quest I see that some of my other characters are dropping things like baby powder and a cap I think it’s sexy stewie stuff? Is this normal? I know sexy stewie is gone I missed out on him .hmm and who is vinny?? Thank you guys for this site you guys are great!!! And you’re akwYs quick to respond I’m not sucking up but I think you guys are great!!!!😁

The event was coded to end Monday and they moved it. I don’t think the game liked that. I see remnants too. They may have to put through an in market patch to clear it out. They may already have one in the works. Just hang in there. It’s not the first time odd things lingered in the game. Lol

I found my pumpkin whilst looking for the boom box. It was totally hidden behind something, and I somehow didn’t realize that I was supposed to have one.
As for this event, I know what *I’ll* be doing this weekend! This is the only game of this type that I have every played, and I’ve been playing since right after it came out, and have spent more money than care to admit on it. TinyCo had done a great job of keeping me engaged. Yay! Kool Aid!

for those tracking such things, when I started this quest at 320am eastern, there were 2 kool aid guys in my town (ie 2 sets of cherries), and now (720am eastern) I just got a 3rd set (so if game started at 5pm eastern, then midnight, 7am eastern, 2pm eastern…etc won’t be able to update if 2 is the max koolaid guys allowed (as Jerome means I log in a lot) but perhaps the beginnings of a schedule (ot:didn’ trigger sexy stewie in time but building still dropping powder etc, idk common issueon reddit

I am a bit concerned about the collection of cherry….
Kool aid will show up every 7hours, we need 10, it makes a total of 70 hours, that’s 3 days. With the sleeping time and knowing the event is 4 days that might become a tight schedule to pick up all of them.
Time will tell if I can make it

They will build up if you don’t tap on them (I believe 2 at a time in your town), so sleeping is ok 🙂

BTW, the Escashady & Doody Dropoff are still available to buy, so I guess they are permanent additions and really tied down to the Sexy Stewie event.

Interesting, and nice to see Cleveland back for those that don’t have him.
I do have to say I am getting a little burned out with TQFS… feels like a constant marathon sometimes, with little to none time to breathe, in particular during weekends.

With regards to the’ Rare’ Pitchers, I just rushed Jeromes 1 hr task 10 time (20 clams) and I got a Pitcher every time, so I would take the rare status of this item lightly. I hope this is the same for everyone and not just luck for me. 🙂

Start with two cherries!
My game didn’t start with the Endless Summer splash screen. Before I clicked on Peter, I noticed Kool-Aid Man in Quahog and clicked on him, dropping a cherry. After I clicked on Peter to start the questline, Kool-Aid Man reappeared, dropping a second cherry.
I hope some of you can save seven hours!

Is there a timer anywhere for when kool aid is coming back? Also I bought the volley ball court without looking at it very closely there isnt a confirm clam spend button in this game am i right?

The confirm button is an auto. It pops up when you make a purchase…
No time for it, that I can see. Just have to keep a watch in your game. But i do think they build up, to at least 2

I got the chicken coop very early in the game when I was playing the Beta. It was part of a questline with burning chickens running around town (like the pirates and the cows). For me it was the first quest of that kind. Have always wondered why they removed it.

25 rares in four days is asking a lot, even with five people that can earn them. Bruce’s task takes up an entire day each time he does it so it might as well be four people. Peter’s shipoopi dance is long too. Shouldn’t have to use clams to speed up tasks. Getting lucky with the drop rate should be enough of a punishment for wanting a limited character.

Jerome has 100+ attempts at it with his 1hr task and Chris will have 25+ with his 4hr task. The rest mostly serve as backup, I suspect you’ll get 80% of your drops from those two. Just set the task on the hour and make an alarm or just be aware and it should be relatively easy.

Jerome’s task is 1 hour. You’ll have around 72 attempts as it plus Chris is a 4 hour task as well. If for some reason you still are short towards the end, you put Jerome on his task wait till timer hits 45 min or less, push him and it will only cost 1 clam:)

Interesting……..
I put the Kool-Aid Ferris Wheel next to the old Ferris Wheel. They are the exact same graphic, but with a new paint job on the Kool-Aid wheel. Except that the original wheel is an 8×4 ground plot while the Kool-Aid wheel is, oddly, a 6×5. This means the new wheel overlaps anything that you put it right up next to, graphically, and looks junky.
Also, the Kool-Aid wheel isn’t animated like the original wheel is. That seems odd since they are just re-using the item code. While the Kool-Aid wheel offers money and xp, is that worth 250 clams when it doesn’t even drop any items? Considering both wheels originally cost 250 clams, it seems like the first was the better bargain.

Don’t know what the quest line has to offer, but with so little time to gather items it seems a waste to semd Chris on a 16 hour task at the pier for pt.2. Think I’m just gonna start having him get pitchers instead.

Don’t worry about Cris doing a 16 hour task. Of the four characters doing pitcher tasks, Jerome’s 1-hour Play Ball task is the most efficient. I’d guess that 20 of the 25 required pitchers will be coming from Jerome. Don’t forget that when the Sexy Stewie event was over, the quest line went with it. So knock those long characters tasks out of the way while Jerome does all the manual labor!

I so far have every character unlocked, and every costume unlocked except for 80’s pop star Cleveland. I have Cleveland, but not that outfit. Do you think there will be any chance of us being able to unlock this outfit, since they are now allowing for people to unlock Cleveland that haven’t already gotten him? Thanks.

He came automatic in most the test games. We are still locating the trigger/requirements for him. Will update when we find them. In the meantime…Look in your buildings menu to see if you locate his home. If not there, try basic force close and restart of device just to make sure. If still not there…hang on a bit as I wait verification.

OK, this is what I was hoping to see
Not Kool-Aid Man specifically but a fair and balanced timed quest. I will take 25 rares over 6 extra-rares any day of the week, especially when they have such a wide range of activities to earn them. just sucks that I had Peter grinding his gears and Jerome growing his fro when this hit. Oh well in a few hours I will get them on it. This looks totally doable at my level of play.
This is enough to keep me busy and my fingers tapping, and yes I’m sure some peope with less free time/flexibility to play will end up spending clams, this seems to be just right. Tough, a challenge, but fair.

This is weird i just checked my quahog this morning and i already tapped 3 jars for cherries… Does that mean they accumulate if you dont tap them when they spawn?

I’m just glad I’m up to date with all my acquisitions. I just unlocked Tom. I’m one set of keys away from getting Vinny with still a day left to get the special building. I have plenty of coins for purchases. I got all the Peter costumes like Pee Pants and the mermaid when they came out the first time. I have Cleveland. If I didn’t have all that then searching for candy and now Mr Kool Aid I’d go crazy.

I would love to have Kool-Aid Man. However, I thought perhaps I found about this event too late, but it appears I’m wrong… It doesn’t feel like it can be completed in 4 days, but I guess we’ll see. I don’t spend money on the game and I don’t like spending clams either unless I absolutely need to.

Check all over your down, including behind buildings. It just drops in your town…and this one doesn’t have to be placed on the road so it can be behind a building on the grass somewhere

That is part of the Endless Summer Questline. Part 1 is place Banner, Peter Make Kool Aid, Tap on Endless Summer Boombox. So right at the beginning. 😉

Try just tapping on the icon in your task bar. Usually that shoots the screen to hover over where the item is in the center of screen. Try it and let me know how it works on this one for you.

I just go into ‘move’ mode and tap on buildings. It makes them transparent. Just be careful that you do not unintentionally move the building. 🙂

Overwhelming task overload subsiding. Going to relax with some Wheat Thins, Cool Whip, and a nice glass of Blue Raspberry Ice Lemonade Kool-Aid!
If anyone is thinking I’m nuts or pregnant (which is physically improbable, because I’m a guy) just say it with me… Wheat Thins… Cool Whip… and be sure to channel your inner Stewie. The jury may still be out on the nuts part, but I’m ok with that 😉

I already got Cleveland but waooo. I been saving to get Consuela but 400 is a really high price for Cleveland. Plus he doesn’t make anything to contribute to get other characters. My opinion, is not worth 400 clams.

It’s only for completists who started late or just missed him the first time and have wanted him ever since. it was a limited time item somjust having the chance to buy it even at a premium price is really kewl.
that said if I didn’t already have him, I’d pass on 400 for him, if for no other reason than I spent too much on comic con!

People definitely spent clams on that event but being he was there waaay early on probably not him. Plus wasn’t his house given to every one who played the event for free? You just had to unlock him. For a character in the one of the guys area opposed to the people you buy…way pricey.

It should have popped in your down like the pumpkin, just dropped somewhere in your quahog. If you don’t see it make sure you check behind buildings etc…this one can be placed off the roads so might be tricky to find.

Already said this but I shall say it again because it needs saying, 400 clams for Clevland is a rip off! He hasn’t helped out since the Moon Idol event, nor do you don’t get his 80s costume or the St.Elmos Clam (as far as I know). I was lucky enough to start playing this game right when the event started so I got him, but a lot of people, like my fiance, couldn’t play this because they had Kindle Fires or didn’t know about this game. I would say a more reasonable price would be around 250 for him.
