Well, we’ve all made it through another “work week” (kinda, sorta, almost) and the weekend looms large up ahead. All week we field your comments about your frustrations in the game (What no Mayor West, STILL?!) and we wanted to give you (and us) a fun new way for you to voice your frustrations and get it all off of your chest.

-Pee Pants returns for…..clams?! Seriously?! What the hell?!
-More late night TinyCo drops….What the hell?! Do they not expect us to sleep?!
-While it’s no surprise to readers of both Addicts blogs, but i’m a HUGE Yankee fan. Last night Derek Jeter, the Yankee Captain, played his last game at Yankee Stadium. For 20 years I’ve watched him play Shortstop for the Yankees (wow am I really that old) and now for the first time I won’t see him on the field next year. For me, and many other Yankee fans, it’s the end of an era. When did I get old? What the hell?! (however, AWESOME end to his Yankee Stadium career. Gotta love Captain Clutch!)

When I decided to move some characters around, I noticed this as I started to move Carter somewhere else. Why the hell does he look like this? All other characters look fine when they get moved, even though it seems to piss them off for some reason…

Ok so I realize that I am overly organized with my Quahog,its all neat and tidy a place for everything and everything in its place…. im sure u get it…But why is it that everytime they open up more land, which I always need of course, they also either unlock or randomly add 10 new buildings or decor that takes up all the new land I just opened up? I haven’t been ahead of that issue since the circus event lol. Of course as soon as I can build something I do just cuz I want every store/house/decoration possible and I know im gonna have to for a questline anyway so I like to be on top. Giggity. Lol ok just. had to get that out. Oh also if the koolaid event ends when I only need one damn pitcher im gonna mame somebody.

Ok this is a big “What the Hell” for the U.S. Postal service.
Not since I was in the second grade have I been as proud to win an award as I was to win the comic-con prizes from the addicts. I’ll never forget sitting down and writing in crayon how I would help clean up my small town and make a better world for my mom. You have to remember that this was in the time of the lone Native American shedding a tear as an unpatriotic driver hurled a bag of rotting garbage from his moving car without even a moments thought to the impact upon our historic and scenic roadways. I took the clean up campaign to heart and poured out all of my young soul onto my double spaced notebook paper. I won second place for my work and became a minor celebrity in my small classroom. I was ecstatic.
The feeling was similar to what I experienced when I saw my name appear in the winners section of the addicts comic-con prize givaway. Granted I didn’t do anything to win and when I boasted about it to my ex-wife and anyone else who would listen, I received the classic “who gives a s*** look.” I have won things before worth much more and had to actually work for my success. For some reason I was extremely proud of this small victory. Maybe it was due to the fact that I legitimately respect the people who run this site and the devoted followers who conduct themselves with dignity and genuine interest, both of which are a rarity in today’s rude, childish, and vulgar internet community. For whatever reason I was very pleased and proud.
After knowing my feelings you can Imagine how irritated I was to hear the doorbell ring and find propped against the door a soggy and crumpled envelope containing my cherished prize. I knew immediately that the contents were not going to fair well. I carefully cut open the package to find, just as I expected, a thoroughly soaked poster and three damp cards. The heat from my anger alone triggered the drying process which I assisted by laying the delicate items out on my bed to hopefully limit the damage.
The three cards are slightly warped but in good condition and the poster has water damage and even lost some paint on the edges. I could tell great care had been taken by Ms Bunny and Ms Alissa to ensure the contents would be protected. The poster was covered front and back with protective paper. Unfortunately the water was just too much. Since the poster is a limited edition, 1014 of 2000, I can’t simply replace it. I wouldn’t want to even if I could. Having worked in a postal position while serving in Korea, I know sometimes damage occurs. However, there is absolutely no excuse for any item to be saturated with water. At no point other than the trip from the truck to the door should the package have been exposed to the elements.
Ok, I’m done venting. I hope the addicts staff will realize I in no way blame them and am truly grateful for the gift. I just wanted you to know the situation. What a wonderful group you have been and I have never seen anyone so dedicated to their fans. You are truly amazing. Thank you so much for everything you do.
Oops! I almost forgot. The perfume infused picture with the lipstick kiss and autograph must have disintegrated from the moisture Miss Bunny. I know how very much you wanted me to have it. Luckily you can create another one. I’ll make sure to save a spot for it. I’m going to frame the Congrats card too. It’s pretty cool. Well again, thank you guys for doing what you do.

It’s fine Miss Bunnyliscious. I know you did everything right. As for the picture, it’s creepy when a guy sends a woman a picture with cologne and a kiss. Kind of like a man whispering in your ear “I’m not wearing any underwear.” Yet when a beautiful woman does it, it is exciting and sexy. I’m not going to win this argument am I? lol

I collected the final candy that I needed today for Pink Brian, a saw the screen saying he was in my inventory, and then my game froze up. When I reopened the game, he wasn’t in inventory and my candies were set back to zero. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Try some basic troubleshooting like force close and restart and check your inventory again.

My characters are still collecting for sexy Stewie – although I didn’t get him in time and his outfit has disappeared. Also three days without any candies at all!

It’s a texture glitch on the sexy stewie thing. Candy wise…are you collecting from a building and the searching your roads? Any chance for candy to be behind a building?

Why didn’t they start the cycle with the candy you need 4 of?
Drawing close to completing vinny with 4 cigars to go. 17 hours to go for the bonus, but many of those are sleeping.
2 more ice cubes and 6 pitchers left. Not a whole lot of hope to complete the quest line, but plenty to unlock

They’ve been alternating. Purple, red, blue…yesterday was blue..so today is purple. Red will fall tomorrow… you’ll get him 🙂

There’s two things that really have been annoying me with this game:
1. having a window to get a limited character only big enough with luck to get. Sorry, but most of us don’t like paying tons of clams to get the items.
2. Only having a handful of characters participate, especially when there are actions that once dropped that item, but for this task it no longer does. For example: Meg’s whistle at one point dropped the notes, but did not this last time it was needed for a character. Make getting them that much more annoying.
BTW, shouldn’t Rupert be a consistent buy character if he’s part of the “characters you can buy” achievement?

WTH?!? For over a week now I’ve had problems with collecting coins and clams from neighbors. I’ll visit their town, tap to help, and nothing drops. Not for every neighbor, it seems to be completely random. I’ve missed out on a daily clam a couple times because of it, and it’s really starting to grind my gears! Seriously, WTH?!?!?

It’s a visual glitch. You can’t see them but they should still be collecting. TinyCo is working to resolve the issue, however I would suggest still sending in a support ticket to let them know you’re still experiencing it…
