UPDATE BUNNY: The case of INVISIBLE Brian. We know the image is missing currently of Pink Brian in Al’s. No worries. There were reports the image was “off” when first released, so we assume they pulled it to fix it. He will return. In the meantime, have fun sending “Invisible Pink Brian” on some tasks. Lol. 😉

Issues are being reported to TinyCo. Please ensure you FIRST check your inventory. Even with the issues, many players are still finding him in there. So go to there first to see if you can locate the Pink Brian Costume. If he is not, report it. TinyCo is stating that so far the players all had him in Inventory to collect. As far as pop up, patches have been pushed and issues should be clearing out now.
Also it seems his first 1hr task is getting stuck. Again, please report these to TinyCo if you are having them. This should be resolved now after you force close the app.

Well…for those that started on time…the wait for Pink Brian is FINALLY over! Today’s the day red candy falls!
Let’s take a look at what happens once you finally earn that last piece of candy to unlock this Pretty in Pink character…
Once you have enough candy to unlock Brian the Pumpkin pop up will give you the option to Collect him:
He’ll then be placed in your inventory….so you’ll have to go into your inventory to get him. Remember your inventory can be accessed through the move menu (not the shopping cart):
This is an instant create…so don’t worry no more collecting or time waiting to get him. Just tap create and he’ll be yours..
And for right now…that’s it with Pink Brian. There’s no questline (at least not yet)….so for now just enjoy his tasks. (although I will say I sent him on his 1hr task in my town and he’s currently glitching out….so be careful with tasks you send him on at this point).

So apparently I missed a red candy at one point and I was hoping I would get it today since it’s the only candy I’m missing but instead I got a blue or purple one (can’t remember). Does this mean I know have to wait until the game decides to throw a red one at random or is there a sequence?

I could swear I just got the last piece of candy to complete Pink Brian but when I went to the pumpkin I was still one short. Has this happen to anyone else? Got to admit I dislike this quest more than any other one yet.

Does anybody know how to fix the pumpkin I’m trying to get pink Brian and every time I press the pumpkin the game freezes and I get kicked out I deleted the game and reinstall it but nothing I checked my invintory and nothing plz help b4 pink Brian is gone

Look into Al’s and see if he is there to tap on. OR…find Brian in your town and try to change the costume to Pink Brian. It may already be on him.

Off topic but ever since i built the fragrence factory my game crashes…now its showing up in my town but when i try to click on it to collect cologne it again crashes…what can i do? Tried contacting tinyco but got no response (just like when i tried contacting them about one of the comic con prizes that i won but never got) i need this problem fuxed so that i can complete the last task in one of my quests

It’s a known glitch that they’re working to restore. Contacting them is the best thing to do right now….
You can still collect items to produce the bottles, and they stack. So you’ll be able to collect the items for all 4 bottles while they work on fixing it.

Off topic but seriously we need more land and can they not make it worth 90,000-120,000 per crop of land cause I just used 140,000 on 2 pieces and this is getting ridiculous with the cost of land (the time is okay 1-2days to clear) but damn it needs to stop going up

That’s what happens as you progress in any game..the price of land significantly increases. Look at TSTO…it was like $8-10 million just to buy all the new land they offered in the game. The land in the districts is still reasonably priced, it’s the extra land they give that’s at a premium.

does the candy only pop up on the road or does it come up behind buildings cos the last candy should be there but its not and all the other were on the road and this one isnt. do i need to move buildings to find it? can anyone help me?

It’ll only appear on roads, but if you have a road behind a building it could be there. Also remember it could easily blend in with the buildings…mine have been in front of Al’s a few times and i almost missed it.

If you see the top of this post…it’s a known glitch. Make sure you contact TinyCo to let them know you’re impacted too, however they are working on a fix for it. But still contact them so they can see it’s still hitting players.

Yes. BUT it should have dropped today once you collected rent from buildings.

I never had a candy drop yesterday either, even with repeated quits and restarts to try and get it to show up. Actually I didn’t see the candy for days at the start of this event until I learned here that each time I collected from buildings I needed to force quit and restart in order to get the candy to show up in my town. Maybe once I didn’t have to do that. I doubt that I’ll get pink Brian.

My Pink Brian bugged on me today. I got him, but the congratulations screen wouldn’t go away until I hit the X. I got the message saying he would be in my inventory, but HE IS NOT there. The pumpkin disappeared. No Pink Brian in inventory…no pink Brian at Al Harringtons, and no pink Brian quests when setting tasks. Bonafide glitch through and through, and I am not happy. I’ve submitted a ticket to TinyCo via the game…but I’m going to be livid if they don’t help me with this.

Actually I think it has ended at local time not PDT? It seemed to finish today 30/9 at 3pm (New Zealand time). It was fine when I checked at 2pm but at 3.30 it was all over?! I thought I had until PDT which is tomorrow NZ time! 😦

i am playing in asia, and all of a sudden my kool aid event ended at around 2pm local time on 9/30 (we are something like 14 hours ahead of PST). i still have the koolaid task in the task list but the boom box is gone and i cannot continue to collect my last pitcher. grrrrrrrr. i reported to tiny co.

Is today (Monday 9/29) the 10th day for candy? I collected my 10th candy (a red candy) today for Pink Brian. I now have 10 candies total (3 blue, 4 purple and 3 red). I have an extra purple and am missing a red. Did I miss a day of candy somewhere?

6 hour task gets stuck as well. Force close fixed it. But he was just wandering aimlessly and when I clicked him, the playground info popped up.

Glitch found in my game was different. The aforementioned glitches I did not see, but when I went into the task list screen for Brian when I got him at 1530 EDT, the Pink Brian image was twice the size of the normal and banana Brians. As of 1930 EDT, the image is now missing (although the task list is still there and still works. (seems TinyCo may be in process of fixing the image)

I got the “pop up won’t go away” problem, but I didn’t have to force close the app. I just went into a hissy fit and prodded repeatedly at the screen. It eventually disappeared. I don’t think it was to do with my hissy fit though, I figured it was just being slow to respond.
Then he appeared in my inventory but with no image. I created him and have him and can select his tasks and everything, and he shows up pink walking around town. But on the task selection screen he’s totally invisible. Weird, but oddly more appropriate to Hallowe’en than being coloured pink. Invisible Ghost Brian, anyone?

Reported to TinyCo: I collected him and game crashed. Upon return candy is back to zero. Pink Brian is not in my inventory but does show up in Al’s with a checkmark but missing character.

If he is in Al’s you may have him then. Is there a “create” option next to his invisible self in Al’s? Have you gone to the actual Brian and tried tapping on him then scrolling left or right to put the Pink Brian costume on him?

There is a button to use him. I don’t think it says create.
Unfortunately regular Brian is still tunneling to help out Vinnie so I can’t tell if Pink Brian is usable. I will report back in an hour or two.

I collected my last candy and then the app closed out. The candy collection restarted. I checked my inventory and it shows I have him, but the picture of the outfit is missing. Also, the tasks haven’t started. What should I do?

If he is in your inventory, select him. Don’t worry about the image in Al’s. Just go to Brian in your game, and you should be able to tap on him and switch his costume. Give them a lil time on the tasks. No need to start them right this second.

Unfortunately mine arrived today in similar condition…not quite as crumpled, but with a slight tear. I believe that by stating “Do Not Bend”, the USPS takes this as a challenge to see how they can mess something up without showing any damage to the exterior. On a side note: I only need one mustache cream to unlock Tom Tucker and I haven’t gotten one in almost three days with Stewie or Dr. Hartman doing task continuously. I don’t know what’s happening with the drop rates again…

I got Pink Brian today. I still see the pumpkin and it does reset back to the first day when you get that first candy. He was in my invention, i clicked on him not thinking that Regular Brian was scooting for Plutonium. I looked in Al Harrington’s Outfits but when you go to look at Pink Brian he is invisible, it does say outfit owned and there is a check mark above where his head would be. I also got Kool-Aide Man today.

Tapped Collect, game died (iOS), relaunched, down to one purple candy and no Pink Brian. Contacted TinyCo, found this post, checked my inventory, Pink Brian there, tapped Create, Invisible Brian in Al Harrington’s, updated TinyCo.
What an anticlimax to eleven days’ worth of collecting candies.

I got a different bug from most post. Today I managed to complete both Kool-Aid and Halloween event. First was Kool-Aid Man, got his stereo on my inventory and as soon as I placed it on my city It started to walk around. Minutes later I got the last candy (red one) and the pop up for quest just appeared. Clicked on the button, 20 seconds freeze as everyone else and boom quest completed, and pumpkin vanished from my city. The bugged part starts here, my costume didn’t showed on my inventory. Thought it was some lag from 3G, exited, reloaded the game several times and nothing. My game is really bugged? The costume appears after some quest? (I’m completing the PB & J costume). Already sent TinyCo and ticket, and now I’m waiting but I’m really sad after all the waiting =(

Something strange happend for me.
When i found the last piece of candy,i got in Total 3,4 and 4,it reset itself to zero.
Now i have to collect the candy again!!!

If we have, we are not ones to talk about ANY spoilers. Not unless confirmed and release via TinyCo or live in game. This game changes WAY to much to have a solid confirmation until it goes live in the game. Anything can be altered, added, and/or removed up until that point. 😉

I unlocked pink Brian, problem is he looks more like invisible Brian. When I went to click and create him, he was listed but not visible. Went ahead and created him anyhow and now in Al Harrington’s it shows a checkmark for Pink Brian, just no Brian. Brian was still working on a task, so no chance to have him do something new just yet.

Saw pink Brian in inventory. Clicked on him. Now he is nowhere to be found AND I am back to only 1 candy. No way I can get him again before it’s over. Very disappointing. 😞

He is there. Look at Al’s. His image was off so I believe they pulled it to work on it. So it shows as a blank spot at Al’s with a check mark. But he still should be there for you to use.

I u locked Kool Aid Man this morning and Pink Brian an hour ago, but when I went to use him as he was on a task when I got him, his Pink image was invisible, I was still able to select quest for him but he’s an invisible image in the charwchter task,screen and I’m the store, though when I got him he was showing in the store..
I already contacted timyCo with this and included a picture.
