UPDATE BUNNY: The case of INVISIBLE Brian. We know the image is missing currently of Pink Brian in Al’s. No worries. There were reports the image was “off” when first released, so we assume they pulled it to fix it. He will return. In the meantime, have fun sending “Invisible Pink Brian” on some tasks. Lol. 😉

Issues are being reported to TinyCo. Please ensure you FIRST check your inventory. Even with the issues, many players are still finding him in there. So go to there first to see if you can locate the Pink Brian Costume. If he is not, report it. TinyCo is stating that so far the players all had him in Inventory to collect. As far as pop up, patches have been pushed and issues should be clearing out now.
Also it seems his first 1hr task is getting stuck. Again, please report these to TinyCo if you are having them. This should be resolved now after you force close the app.
Hello There Clammers.
Well…for those that started on time…the wait for Pink Brian is FINALLY over! Today’s the day red candy falls!
Let’s take a look at what happens once you finally earn that last piece of candy to unlock this Pretty in Pink character…
Once you have enough candy to unlock Brian the Pumpkin pop up will give you the option to Collect him:
He’ll then be placed in your inventory….so you’ll have to go into your inventory to get him. Remember your inventory can be accessed through the move menu (not the shopping cart):
This is an instant create…so don’t worry no more collecting or time waiting to get him. Just tap create and he’ll be yours..
And for right now…that’s it with Pink Brian. There’s no questline (at least not yet)….so for now just enjoy his tasks. (although I will say I sent him on his 1hr task in my town and he’s currently glitching out….so be careful with tasks you send him on at this point).

Okay so I didnt get pink Brian during the Halloween event because I was two candy bars short but like a couple days ago the two candy bars I needed appeared in the shop for 15 clams each so I bought them and I thought I got pink Brian afterwords but his costume isn’t appearing I checked both Al Harringtons and my inventory it wasent there so I checked Brian himself his costume still didn’t apper and I did read ur post about where to find him and I did all that and still can’t find him could u tell me what’s happening

That sounds really odd. He was pulled from the game a while back. I would suggest to contact them through your game and have them look into it.

The option to purchase candy showed up in my deco build menu again this morning, I bought the last two pieces of red candy and just finished building Pink Brian. I am not sure if it is just for me as I reported loosing the option to buy candy before the end of the event or not, but it’s worth checking out if you were not able to get him in time.

I had 5/3 of the first 2 candies. I waited for the last 3 1/2 days to get my 4th red candy only to have no candies drop for that last 3 days. I’m so pissed and I didn’t get pink brian because of it.

I played ten days straight, getting the orange candy first. After today, I got 4 Blue, 3 Purple, and 3 Orange. Like WTH Happened. Its like It skipped orange and gave me blue. It says it rotates, but it looks more like it randomizes the candies.

This one was stupid. There were several days that I couldn’t find the candies and the last two days I searched my town top to bottom multiple times. I’m seeing comments that it ended the 4th but my Pink Brian quest timer still says 2 hours. And I couldn’t find any candy yesterday either. I’m one candy short, what a crock.

I know you said the event ended yesterday but somehow I have 2 hours left on my timer and one more red candy to get, like some others mentioned here. I’ve been scouring my town all day to see if the last basket is going to show up. Any other tips?

Yeah same here. I hope they don’t do any quest like that in the future, or at least offer the option of buying what is missing. Small little candy basket that could pop up at any time and perhaps be hidden behind a large building, then you have the hey you only need 3 of these two lets make sure you have the opportunity to get 5 of them, Oh you need four of this one, well lets make sure you only can get four of them.

Why is there no consistency in this game? For example some of my friends were able to start quests days before I can and we’re all on the same page. The Pretty in Pink quest line still says I have 8 hours left. For the past 3 days I’ve been trying to get 1 piece of candy and it’s never dropped. Apparently that seems to be an issue with other people on this thread. Regardless, I noticed similar issues with the Comicon event. What’s the fix this time?.. Oh here’s 100 clams that should make up for it! Still doesn’t fix the issues at hand.

Thing is many players had no issue unlocking him. Lots did it successfully. This is why reporting issues through your game is critical. One so they are made aware there’s an issue. Two so they have your player ID info to see why your game glitched.
Every person, device, game play style is different. So it’s impossible to know what causes issues. Too many variables. All they can do is wait fir report of issue. Locate issue. Find cause. Find patch. Then resolve.

Alright then explain to me why in every other quest you’ve had to do once you hit the mark for a certain item you wouldn’t receive them anymore. For example once you collected 10 cigars they no longer spawned anymore. In the pretty in pink questline you could accumulate more then what was needed for certain candy. So let’s say I hypothetically collected it every day when I was allowed to, 3 pm PST. There still was no garuntee that I would be able to receive that costume. Because I have 10 purple candies where I only needed 1 more red one. That and the fact there wasn’t an opportunity to complete the quest using clams. This goes back to my original complaint. End rant

I had all but one piece of candy left to collect but as soon as I did the update for the Halloween quests my candy buckets stopped showing up. I did the update on the 1st, way before the challenge expired. Not cool.

I am missing a red candy as well I thought I was on top of it and was getting every candy. I could’ve swore that earlier I found a way to buy a candy for 15 clams each. Since today is the last day I looked everywhere for that and I cannot find it. Was I imagining stuff or is there supposed to be a way to do it?

The same happened to me. I finished up with 5 blue, 5 purple and only 3 red. And in the last 24 hrs to unlock pink Brian I didn’t get any candy at all. Disappointing that I missed out!!!

I paid 30 clams for the remaining two red candies and it said pink Brian was in my inventory but when I went to the inventory it was not there.

This is ridiculous, I am one red candy away and they keep dropping blues, my blue candy says 5/3. I have messaged them through the game but I don’t know how they get back to me, I am going to be highly upset if I do not get him! I only needed 3 candies back when there was 6 days left to go and I am still in this dilemma.

I have just unlocked Brian. When I did the pink Brian quest unlocked with a timer at 2d in the side bar. Clicking on GO does nothing. My understanding of the posts is that it should take me to the pumpkin. This is not happening. Have force closed and tried on both my iPad and iPhone.
I get that it won’t take me to candy, but thought it would take me to the pumpkin…
I have searched and cannot find the pumpkin anywhere. I am also not seeing the candy available for purchase.
Have you come across this before? If not I’ll put a ticket in.
Was hoping to get a few candies and make a call on buying the leftovers.

If you unlocked him, that’s it. Pumpkin is gone. No need for it or for Candy.
Just go to Brian and see if the costume is there ready to use.

No candy come up for me to clear and I have no pumpkin. I only have the mission to unlock him and I only have 2 days left and it is driving me crazy!. There is no possible way for me to get him. I tried uninstalling and checking my inventory but nothing shows. I’m completely unable to get him :(.

If the pumpkin is gone, that usually means you won him. Did you check Brian himself to see if when he’s tapped, the costume is there?

I clicked him and there’s nothing. Even checked my inventory. I never had a pumpkin to begin with!. Its really irritating I’m missing out on all this stuff that I’m completely unable of getting. ALSO the slim guy we have to clear the mission went away and peter keeps giving me reminders to clear him and I can’t even see the slime guy. And then peter says I let him get away but I couldn’t see him in the first place .-. I uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing. I really hope tinco will help with this problem /.\

K. Wait. If you never got the pumpkin then the event never started for you. Do you have Brian unlocked in your game at all? He was required in order to get the mini event.
As far as Slimer, he roams the streets. You got to look for him. So same as the candy, if you have a LOT of hidden roads, it will make it harder to find him.

No I have Brian unlocked. And I gave the mission and its counting down. And the slimmer guy I cleared him once already and the quest is you clear him 3 times and then the quest disappeared and peter tells me to look for him but he’s not there. I rearranged my town because I thought he was hiding to but no luck. I’m really sad I’m missing out on all this cool stuff. 😦

Did you try tapping on the quest in the task menu and seeing if that would take you to the Pumpkin? Usually the pop up hover right over the center of where the Pumpkin is. All I can say is to contact TinyCo on it.
As for Slimer, I have the info on the auto complete of his task in the FAQ post. Everyone had it happen so far. But he still comes. I just tapped him again in my town. A quick pop up with peter shows telling you to find him before he gets away. You only have two minutes and he easily blends into the green of the ground as he hovers above the sidewalks. Take a look at the FAQ post. I put up pics.

It is up to you. As long as you still get the ones you need and Pink Brian, chalk it up to a fluke. If you feel you won’t, then I would most definitely ask TinyCo about it. (FYI, there was an option temporarily to buy the candy that would have messed with the counts. But not your case.)

I got the go get pink brian, but when I click nothing happens… I haven’t seen the jack-o-lantern, nor any candies. Double checked the city then even sent everything to inventory and nothing. nowhere to be seen

See top of post, check your inventory for him. If not there, check Brian himself. See if the costume has already activated and you can scroll left or right once tapping on Brian to dress him in it.

Thanks goodness for forums like this otherwise we miss half of the game! I was wondering what happened wen I got the last candy. Didn’t see any message about it being in the inventory. One extra touch and you can miss a critical dialogue. They should make these things more obvious otherwise it creates disappointed users and/or more support calls.
